Sunday Service - The Needful Thing

praise Heavenly Father we come before you right now Lord we just come in expectation right now believing that you are the source of what we need this day so father we enter in through and by the precious blood of Jesus that gives us the right to have answers to our prayers and so father we pray for every heart that is watching father we pray for every person who's tuned into the stream right now Lord we just thank you that you are the lifter of our head and so father we look to you as our help this day father we just thank you for the burden removing the yoke destroying power that is present here today to lift two men to heal and to cause an experience that only you can provide in this place and so father we come in advance praying for those who have authority over us we pray according to your word right now Lord to intervene and to involve you in our nation father and even throughout the world with all that is going on we look to you and father we thank you that we can find answers in peace and comfort in you right now father so we come in expectation for your manifestation to be poured out in this service today with an encouraging word with a song that will lift and all the things that is necessary to minister to the hearts of these your people so we thank you for your work being confirmed with signs wonders and miracles following we thank you for the free course of the Holy Ghost right now to go into every home and to do what needs to be done that only you can do and so father right now we believe we receive that this is our receiving day send forth now deliverance thank you for joy unspeakable joy and full of glory wherever there's a heaviness father we thank you for the anointing right that will cause a lifting and a shifting in the atmosphere and we thank you for it in advance we believe we receive it right now in Jesus mighty name and a man put this on the screen if you have your Bibles at home I want you to look at Matthew 24 and three and a little later on taffy and I are gonna address some of the things that are going on give you some encouragement give you from a biblical perspective of what we need to do but I want you to take hold of this I want you to walk with this all day today and he says in Matthew 24 and 3 he says and as he sat upon the Mount of Olives the disciples came unto him privately saying tell us when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of thy coming and verse 4 says this and jesus answered and said unto them take heed that no man deceive you verse 5 now watch this verse 5 for many shall come in my name saying I am Christ and shall deceive many but now here's what I want you to focus in on today verse 6 and you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars here's the phrase see that you be not troubled see that you be not troubled in other words he says in the midst of all of the things that can happen in your life he says I want you to accept the responsibility to see that you be not troubled now it wouldn't be just for God to say you accept the responsibility to make sure that you're not troubled if you didn't have already what you needed in order to accomplish that you have the Holy Spirit you have the Word of God you have the joy of the Lord you have the power of prayer see that you'd be not trouble just because you're in the midst of trouble doesn't mean you have to be troubled by your trouble see that you'd be not trouble so what are you going to do what initiatives are you going to take to guard your heart and your mind to keep yourself in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on the scene that you'd be not trouble so don't look around for an angel to fall out of heaven and coming you see that you be not troubled that is now your responsibility so basically when I walk around troubled it's gonna it's gonna be a decision of quality on my part - wait a minute I'm not gonna do this I'm gonna disconnect with what I think did this connect with I'm gonna get in prayer I'm gonna meditate on a word I'm gonna see that I be not troubled these things are gonna come to pass Bible says they that live godly shall suffer persecution these things shall come to pass now we know the spirit of division is in the earth racism is in the earth and we're gonna take some time doing communion to address some things and then we're gonna take communion over those things but see that you'd be not trouble you get yourself stirred up today you get yourself this is my text for today get yourself stirred up today in the peace of God in the Word of God now is the time for you to stand on put your foot down on on on the Word of God let the devil know you're not gonna move me you're not gonna trick me you're not going you know get ahead no see that you be not troubled in Jesus name and we pray that all is well with you right now all is well with your house all is well with your family don't allow depression to come in it'll knock at the door don't allow trouble to come in or knock at the door we are believers and we will see to it that we be not trouble so I'll start off this way tapi all is well got start somewhere yeah got start somewhere all is well yeah and and just make up your mind I'm just gonna stay focused on the stream I'm gonna stay focused on what's coming out here this morning try not to allow your attention under the veer off on what the news and what somebody texts you just make it a point like Ruffalo just said see that you're not trouble by focusing in on what God wants to speak to your heart this morning I believe that you'll get a word that you need to hear today I don't I think it takes focus I think you know you have the authority to focus in on whatever you want to focus in on but if you focus in on the right things and and that's the truth focus in on what's gonna happen today in this in this service focus in on this stream get everything settled around you so you can hear with the ears of your spirit not just out here but focus in on what you're hearing with the ears of your spirit and I believe that God is gonna really really minister to you I'm going to talk about the needful thing the thing you need the most in the midst of chaotic times don't the needful thing that you have to have and it's gonna be an amazing time and we've got some serious things to talk to you about so get your communion ready call your [Music] [Music] [Applause] let's prepare for our communion this morning you get a cracker something at home that you can receive communion with us but before we do that because we're going to take communion over peace and reconciliation and that's a powerful thing there's a lot going on in our nation besides being in a pandemic and the pain of seeing loved ones dive of the cove at 19 the loss of jobs the fear of wondering how how are we going to supply and for our homes and our families and so forth and then you know to deal with the the reoccurring issue of racism in our in our nation to add to all of that one of the things that TAF and I want wants you to know is that racism is of the devil it is demonic and it it ultimately is born out of Mammon it's a it's a Mammon driven thing that Mammon now produces the spirit of division the spirit of division now produces racism so wherever there is division the result is going to be racism that's why operating in a spirit of division is so dangerous it is dangerous for us to not only operate in division but to maintain division I'm talking about you have division between the Republicans and the Democrats you have division between management and labor you have divisions between people of different races and and I'm telling you ladies and gentlemen if you're gonna deal with the spirit of racism which is demonically motivated you have to deal with the spirit of division and if there's any subject that should bring the Democrats and the Republicans together if there's any subject or issue that should bring management and labor together if there's any subject or issue that should bring heads of households with their families together this would be a good one it will continue to go on until we deal with the issue the root of the issue and that's the spirit of division slavery however is the result of the spirit of Mammon the spirit of Mammon is when you trust money more than you trust God when you say I need money more than I need God Mammon is not money Mammon is the demonic spirit that's motivating trust and being reliable or or trusting and standing in needing money more than you trust and stand and need God so even if you take it back in history slavery is a result of the spirit of Mammon the demonic spirit of amendment that says I trust money I need to get money so I need a I need to oppress people to help me to be able to produce product so I can get money and I hope that's not true today I hope that even in reopening our nation that the spirit of Mammon hadn't found a foothold back into what we're trying to do it's all about what's motivating you what what motivated slavery it's the spirit of Mammon what causes division amongst people it's the spirit of Mammon what maybe even caused division among some political groups it's the spirit of Mammon that spirit that says I trust money more than I trust God and so if you're going to deal with the spirit of racism it's got to start at the head of every home it's got to start at the head of every business it got to start at the head of every city every state every nation this is not just the United States issue this is a worldwide issue so when you're when you're serious about dealing with racism then you're gonna be serious about dealing with division then the Democrats and the Republicans are going to quit being so divided because they realize that they're giving birth to racism that the management and labor going to quit fighting one another being divided because they realize it's gonna produce racism it's the spirit of division the racism is a spirit of division magnified in hate and that's what we're seeing now when you oppress a people over and over and over and over and over again when oppression is when you take from people the right to determine their future when you rob people and hold people back from determining their future they go to school they get their education that they're they're good at what they do and then they bump into a prejudiced person who may be a racist that now stops them from entering into their future that's oppression and I think we need to just really dig in on it we're the body of Christ so now we know what to attack let's go at the root of this the root of this thing is the devil the root of this thing is the devil causing division the root of this thing is the devil causing division and then out of division comes racism out of racism comes the spirit of hate out of that spirit of hate becomes strife and envy and then every evil work confusion and every evil word comes as a result of that so what do we want tap and I were talking about it I've experienced racism before she's experienced racism before how can one race change when the other race won't everybody's got changed everybody's got changed you see the white man claps on the first beat the black man claps on the second beat but if we'll all come together we won't miss a beat we're still fussing over the color of somebody's skin it's a sad thing when a black man says I want to change but then he says to a white man you gonna let me change and this is not all blacks and this is not all whites but it's the spirit of division it's the devil sitting back laughing at the whole world because he thinks he can now conquer because we don't get it we don't know what's going on and what's going on is devil we see you devil we see you it's you it's you so in this communion we're going to unleash an attack on the devil on the spirit of division on racism and in the name of Jesus we're going to challenge from the households to the business to the mayor's place to the governor's mansions to the White House for everybody to the Capitals and to the capital cities all around the nation and all around the world to challenge you to attack the spirit of division and sit down and come together with some solutions come together with some solutions do some things that we can intelligently apply that we hold people accountable for exists as excessive force that we hold each other accountable for prejudging people because of our past and because of what we were told that we hold people accountable that will get on the internet and say this is my gun I use it to kill black people we've got to hold people accountable but we've got to know what we're fighting whether you believe in God or not will you believe in heaven and hell or not whether you believe in God or the devil or not Satan is behind this there's a devil loose and his plan let me divide and conquer wherever there's strife with a of envy wherever it is the spirit of division there's gonna be confusion and every kind of evil thing you can think of so one nation under God let's make sure that god dominates and not Satan liberty and justice for all well let's make sure we go back and reevaluate then the ass are all getting the liberty and the justice this is a spiritual war the civil rights movement was spiritual this is a spiritual war and it's gonna take godly people to begin to show up with the wisdom of God and begin to lay out some necessary protocols and and adjustments of laws and and listen and see our leadership stand up in public see the news media stand up in public and promote unity to every passenger to every leader I say your leadership authentic leadership is gonna be based on you being able to unify and not divide CEOs of companies unified not divide mayors of every city unified not divided senators of and congressmen unified not divided presidents of nations and countries and prime ministers unified not divided and when we can go against that taffy we are going to see demons tremble all over the earth because Satan we see you yeah we see you I think part of the fact is you know the civil rights movement was what 50 something years ago and so we're still seeing some of these things that are manifesting today as you said it was a spiritual movement it was led by God it was a revival and it was led by the spirit and so in essence we're seeing some of these same things that have taken place and so you talk about like the systems that are in place and we know it's the enemy that's behind these systems the systemic plan to continue to oppress people racism division all these things are behind the spirit of the enemy and he's trying to do everything that he can to cause us to lose hope in the fact that systems can change and systems can be broken down and I think that's the encouragement that we have to find in the Word of God and through the promises of God I was thinking this morning the Bible talks about how our ladder what does it say in Haggai chapter 2 verse 9 it says the glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former so I'm just believing that our our ladder will be greater than the former you know and that the things that we have experienced up to this point that somehow through God and His Word and his promises that these systems that are in place can be changed right amen demonically motivate assistance people are so so tired and when you feel tired and hopeless you do everything you were told to do and you fear feel tired and hopeless and you feel like you're not being taken serious you have a vote in Congress that says when we in slavery will we'll give you 40 acres in a move and I'm you and they voted for that to happen it just never happened and you feel hopeless there is hope in God and there is hope in his word and in the name of Jesus don't let the devil dominate your emotions dominate your life don't allow those negative emotions to move you to do things that you you know better and I speak peace right now over our nation I speak peace over my people I speak peace over my partners I speak peace over every ethnic group and in the name of Jesus Satan we bind you right now I command you in the name of Jesus to cease in your maneuvers against this world against this nation against our country our state our city and in the name of Jesus I pray that there will be such the anointing the glory of God will fall upon the Millennial Generation the glory of God will fall upon this land the glory of God will fall upon the church and that by the Spirit of God you'll do something that no man can take credit for we agree on it right now world changes nation we agree together right now and we declare that all is well in Jesus name now we take communion over peace and reconciliation reconciliation God has called every Christian to reconciliation peace and reconciliation and father we take this bread which represents your broken body your body that was broken for us man so that whatever is broken in our lives can be made home broken relationships be made whole broken families be made whole broken governments be made whole broken nations be made whole in the name of Jesus we take this broken body and we declare wholeness right now it's resultant as we eat of your body we declare that all is well you may eat let's take the cup which represents the blood of Jesus what can wash away our sins nothing but the blood of Jesus what can make us whole again nothing but the blood of Jesus now in the name of Jesus I plead the blood over this nation I plead the blood over over my people who have felt oppressed and hurt and in pain and neglected and belittled I plead the blood of Jesus over you I plead the blood of Jesus over you that Satan attacks the black man has always done it why because he's probably one of the most powerful men on the planet but I plead the blood of Jesus over you right now I plead the blood of Jesus over my white brothers and sisters over my Hispanic brothers and sisters over my Italian and German brothers and sisters I plead the blood of Jesus over every ethnic group I declare in Jesus name Satan you must now go by you cannot touch I plead to blurt over this nation I plead the blood over this nation I plead the blood over this nation right now and I declare that all is well for as often as we drink of this cup we do so Jesus name you may drink all this well all is well all is well with my people all is well with my brothers and sisters all is well with whatever ethnic group your in all is well in your city in your state and your nation all is well Satan is defeated and Jesus is Lord Jesus name Amen amen praise God now hang on to that let's believe God together and now let's focus like taffy said let's get in this word move all the distractions out of the way and let this word minister into your hearts amen amen father we thank you for this another opportunity to minister to these your precious sheep thank you Lord that revelation knowledge will flow freely uninterrupted and unhindered by any satanic or demonic force and father I pray that you will speak through my vocal cords and think through my mind I prayed none of me and all of you it's in Jesus mighty name we pray and everybody said amen praise the Lord well good morning everybody we are excited we are stirred up we believe God and I want to begin in the scripture that we shared with you earlier in Matthew 24 verses 3 through 14 in the NLT and then we're gonna go to Hebrews chapter 2 verse 1 and then my text for today Luke chapter 10 38 through 42 let's begin Matthew 24 verse 3 he says in verse 3 later Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives his disciples came to him privately and said tell us when will all this happen what sign will will signal your return and what sign will signal the end of the world and Jesus told them don't let anyone mislead you for many will come in my name claiming I am the Messiah they will deceive many and you will hear of wars and threats of wars but don't panic yes these things must take place but the end won't follow immediately so we've heard of war as we've heard of threats of wars he says nations will go to war against nations that's happened kingdoms against Kingdom that's happened there will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world that's happened but all this is only the first of the birth pains with more to come so we've experienced the first of the birth pains but it says there's more to come then you will be arrested persecuted and killed we have seen Christians arrested around the world we've seen them persecuted we have seen them killed you will be hated all over the world because you are my followers that's happened and many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other Wow hate each other and many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people sin will be rampart rampant everywhere and the love of many will grow cold but the one who endures to the end will be saved and the gun and the good news about the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world so that all nations will hear it and then the end will come the end will come when the gospel has been preached around the whole world the end will come the Bible warns us of all these things happening hey like you've never seen and that's what racism is system is a spirit of division magnified and hate and we've got to understand that these things Jesus knew would come to pass he prophesized that these things came would come to pass and he says see that you'd be not trouble there's about to be a greater move of God in fact you can take every move of God that's happened on the earth thus far and what is about to happen is going to be greater than all of those put together you're going to begin to see people come to the Lord Jesus Christ that you thought would never be saved and it won't be because of the charisma of other people it will be because the Holy Spirit supernaturally will begin to move on this planet so that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and we are we are right at the at the the corner of this thing this thing's getting ready to break loose and I don't know about you but I want to make sure that I'm right slap dab in the middle of what God is getting ready to do so you watch what I tell you Satan is kind of going around like he's winning I mean you've got the pandemic going on you got economic crisis going on you got the spirit of division and racism going on and I'm sure the Satan's just sitting back like I got him I got him I got him but I got to tell you in the name of Jesus Bible says God sits in heaven any laughs why because he knows that he knows that that Devils end is is right around the corner so this is a spiritual battle that's going on people are just trying to make it a car it's a spiritual deal that's going on and as Christian people we're gonna hit it at the root of it and so we're gonna look at the day what what do we need to be doing see that you be not troubled I mean how is God gonna say see that you be not troubled in the midst of all this trouble some of you have been so stressed out some of you have just been this is just too much some of you like I just can't look at news anymore it's just like the whole world's going crazy and then in the middle of this he says see that you'd be not troubled now let me show you something right quick in order for us to answer that question go to Hebrews chapter 2 verse 1 let's look at the King James and then the New Living Translation Hebrews chapter 2 and verse 1 in the King James and then the New Living Translation see that you be not trouble he says in verse 1 therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard lest at any time we should let them slip so I'm gonna talk to you about something you have heard but you you've drifted away from it I'm gonna talk to you about something that you know but you kind of let it slip you're not aware of it right now this is the time where you have to be aware of it and you know I'm not trying to condemn you for letting things slip we all let things slip but thank God praise Jesus we can pick up those things we left slip and make sure that we have the right thing at this right time look what he says in verse let's look at the New Living Translation Hebrews chapter 2 verse 1 in their New Living Translation so we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard or we may drift away from it we got to listen to what we have heard or we may drift away from it so see that you be not troubled this morning I want to talk to you about and then title my sermon is the needful thing what is the thing that we need right now in the midst of all that's going on what is the needful thing that we have to have Luke chapter 10 verse 38 through 42 let's begin this today Luke chapter 10 verse 38 and 42 how do I get results how do I get things to happen in my life how do i how do I operate in the supernatural the spiritual things and see it happen why is it that so many people always go back to the natural it's because they don't really trust the supernatural because they don't know really how to make it work or how to do it needs to be done look at verse 38 this is the story you can relate now it came to pass as they went that he entered into a certain village and a certain woman named Martha or Martha received him into her house and so Jesus is you know coming there Martha is very aware that they're coming so they're preparing their home to receive them food and relaxation and and all that and she had a sister called Mary which also sat at Jesus feet and what heard his word heard his word but Martha was cumbered about much serving and came to him and said Lord does thou not care that my sister has left me to serve alone don't you care that she's leaving all of the work into my hands he said bid heard therefore that she helped me next verse and jesus answered and said unto her Martha Martha thou art careful and troubled about many things I mean you can relate to that you're careful you're careful you're full of care about many things there are a lot of things going on in your life a lot of things going on in your mind you're focused on how I'm gonna pay the rent all my money spent I ain't got no job you know a little bit to buy some food the baby need a pair of shoes or you know and he says but one thing is needful what a powerful statement Jesus says one thing is needful in the midst of all of these things that are going on in the midst of things that are going on around you that you're concerned about in the midst of things that are happening in your life that you that that's that you're trying to figure out I need some help on I mean you know Jesus says there's only one thing that's needful and so how do i how do I deal with everything that's going on in my life right now how do I deal with the prospect of me not having a job how do I deal with with with with my children how do i do with Whitman with my finest how do I pay my bills and Jesus says one thing is needful well I don't know about you but I certainly want to know what that one thing is because if that one thing is what I need then praise God tell me what it is he says one thing is needful and Mary have chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her well what did Mary choo-choos she chose to sit and hear the word she chose to listen to Jesus she chose to sit at his feet and hear his word basically Jesus is saying we are worried about a whole lot of things but what we need to choose is the word as if I choose this one needful thing all these other things are gonna be taken care of somebody says oh I don't want to hear this honey that's that's the deal you got a right to choose you have a right to choose to try to figure out how to do it your own way or listen to Jesus and Jesus says here's what you need you need a word every household needs the word every city every state every nation on the planet needs the word and Jesus is saying if you will choose to sit and hear and choose my word my god he says all these other things are gonna fall in line how powerful is this but you know right here here's Jesus saying to a woman to give your attention to the world the word Martha give your attention to the word Mary is she's chosen the needful thing you need the word you need the word you're hearing all other opinions and you're hearing everybody else's word you need the word of Jesus now look at proverbs chapter 4 20 through 27 proverbs 4:23 27 you need the word what are you giving your attention to are you giving your attention to the chaos are you giving your attention to the to the trouble are you giving your attention to the pandemic are you giving your attention to the fear what are you giving your attention - well let's let's pay attention to Jesus let's get in his word let's find out what we should be giving our attention to he said to Martha you should be giving your attention to what Mary is giving her attention to so what does he say here in Proverbs for 20 pieces my son attend to my words Wow attend to my words incline thine ear unto my sayings so here Jesus is saying again give your attention to my word give your attention to my word there's obviously something that that can can take place in our lives when we give our attention to the word and you know we've gone to churches and we've done you know people are just like oh well I'm just tired of the whole thing I tried that I used to go to church I used to do that but but how much attention was given to the word even in the church you used to attend how much of the word got your attention when you left church how much of the word get your attention when you get up in the morning or when you face trouble what did Jesus have to say about it what does the word have to say about it what are you programming in your mind what are you taking through your eyes and your ears he says let them words not depart from your eyes there's got to be a reason why keep them in the midst of your heart there's got to be a reason why keep the word in the midst of your heart why in the world does God want me to get the word in my heart verse 22 he says for they those words are life their life under those that find them and their health the Word of God is health the Word of God is health to your flesh so the word of God not only will be something that will help us in all of these weird situations but it will also bring health to your flesh the Word of God come on what's this keep thy heart with all diligence why for out of your heart are the issues of life now he's telling me that your heart is kind of like soil if you put the word in your heart it'll grow the issues of life in fact words are seeds and our like seeds and when you put that word in your heart it will grow the issue of that word that went in the issue of life comes out of a man's heart he said put away from the a fraud or a disobedient mouth he said watch your mouth and perverse lips put far from thee watch your mouth because you can hear what you say twenty-five let your eyes look right on and let your eyelids look straight before thee 26 ponder that's meditation ponder the path of thy feet and let all thy ways let your ways be established let your ways be established in the word 27 turn not to the right hand nor to the left hand remove thy foot from evil man this is this is strong it's like God's trying to tell us something that you're a Christian you've made Jesus the Lord of your life and you're experiencing you know things just as worse as the world some of us not all of us those of us who are doing this oh my god we are operating on a whole nother level alright now watch this look at Colossians 3:16 Colossians 3:16 says let but with you know the Bible talks about getting that word in us give attention to that word pay attention to that word get full of that word get that word in your heart and look what he says in Colossians 3:16 he says let the word of Christ dwell in you how richly let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom let that word dwell in you richly in all wisdom see if you hadn't seen the instructions I've been given three different places it's talking about get that word get that word get that word and we still don't get it I want to get in that word it makes me sleepy I fall asleep I don't know what it means I mean and yet it is something that will change your life change your circumstances change your situation change your focus why why is he pushing the word so much well let's go mark chapter four and I'm gonna read probably teach the whole chapter I've got lots to talk about I won't finish this sermon today I got to get the answer to you about why is this word so important why is getting this word so important it's just a book it's not just a book it's the word that that that was inspired by God to men men were inspired to write it holy men were inspired to write it down and I know they're people that are against the Word of God because they say it was that Bible that was responsible for slavery no it was bad teaching it was men that used the Bible in a manipulative wrong way and and and taught heresy to people and they believed it and they were made to believe it there's nothing wrong with the Word of God when it's taught properly but boy when when a false prophet gets it or when when people try to teach the word from the basis of Mammon see back in those days of slavery that man would teach that Bible to motivate slaves to serve them because their money was on the line and so it was manipulated and it was taken out of context and it was taught wrong and they believed wrong and submitted their selves to oppression and slavery because somebody mishandled the Word of God that's why it's got to be handled properly that's why it's got to be rightly divided that's why it's full of power and full of strength praise God now look what he said in verse 1 and he began again mark chapter 4 verse 1 and he began again to teach by the seaside Jesus so Jesus is in the boat teaching and there was gathered unto him a great multitude so that he entered into a ship and he sat in the sea and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land Jesus in the water teaching he's in a boat or in a ship in water teaching to those on the land verse two and he taught them many things by parables so Jesus taught by using illustrations real-life illustrations and he said unto them in his doctrine or in his teaching so here's what he said in his teaching that day he said hearken behold there went out a sore - so so he's now he's using the illustration of a farmer going out to sow some seed verse four and it came to pass as he sold some of the seed fell by the way side and the fowls of the air came and devoured it and some of the seed fell on stony ground where it had not much earth and immediately it sprang up because it had no death of Earth but when the Sun was up it was scorched and because it had no root it withered away and some fell some of the seed fell on thorns and the thorns grew up and choked it and it yielded no fruit verse 8 and others fell on good ground and did yield fruit that sprang up increased and brought forth some 30 some 60 and some 100 and he said unto them he that hath ears to hear let him hear or in other words he that has perception he that can perceive what this illustration is about there's awesome things that will happen to them now remember in Genesis chapter 8 22 22 Genesis chapter chapter 8 22 he says while the earth remains seedtime and harvest summer and winter day and night shall not cease while the earth remains it shall not cease now I just read to you where Jesus in this illustration was literally talking about for tip different types of ground he talks about four different type of soils four kinds of soils here he's speaking of four kinds of Hearts so he's comparing the four type of soils soils to the four kinds of hearts of man you have the hard heart that's the first soil you see the activity of Satan you have the hollow heart that's the second soil you see the activity of the flesh then you have the half hearts that's the third soil that's the activity of the world and then you have a whole heart now basically what he is saying here is you can't take seed and put it in the ground and not have anything to cover it up you can't take sake take seed put it in the ground and it's shallow the birds of the air come and eat it in other words he said the seed whether it's going to be successful of growing or not is going to be based on the type of soil that was that that deceit was put in seed has to be put in the soil in order to grow seeds got to be put in the saw a certain way in order to grow you see your heart is equal to the soil and the Word of God is equal to the seed what he is saying is if you'll take the Word of God put it in the soil of your heart it'll bring forth to the harvest so let's say you're sick and you need healing he says go get you some Word of God and some promises on healing with His stripes you are healed by His stripes you were healed he says now take that put it in your mouth put it in your eyes put it in your ears get it in your heart that's the soil and then take care of it like you would natural sea water it spend time with it keep the weeds out and he says if you'll do that just like the apple seed will give birth to an apple tree the word seed of healing will give birth to healing you can have a party in this earth if you'll know how to use this authority and lots of Christians don't know how to use this Authority that's why when things happen in my life I go and find out what the word has to say I stick with the word I watch it I meditate on it I ponder it I stick it in my heart and it grows up it shows up it's manifested I don't know exactly all the intricate details it took for this thing to show up but I do know that I can make my way successful by paying attention to this is how the kingdom of God operates the kingdom of God operates when a man takes the Word of God and he puts it in his heart by hearing it and and reading it and speaking it and then it gets in his heart and every day he spends time with that scripture every day he spends time with that word he speaks it he looks at it he hears it he speaks it he looks at it he hears it and now he believes it he so believes it that he enters into arrest he so believes that he enters into an ease he believes that he enters into a calm and then it begins to take root in his heart and then the fruit of that grows up in his life I'm telling you tapping I've lived this way for almost 40 years what does the word have to say about it what does the word have to say about it and we plant it in our heart and we believe God see the only thing the promises of God the only thing that the Word of God needs in order to grow manifestation in your life is the soil of your heart if you will allow the Word of God to have your heart and put it in your heart it will manifest in your life now you think about what I just explained and you think about the number of Christians who don't even do that anymore you think about the number of Christians who don't have time to get into Word they don't have time to take that word serious they really don't believe that word they don't plant that word in their heart and then they're wondering how come this didn't happen or why come why did why did that not happen that's authority that God has given to you to operate the authority of seed time and harvest time to take his word and to put in your heart and to see it grow up in your life look at verse verse 10 he said and when he was alone the disciples heard all of this they were about him with the twelve and he asked him the parable they want to know I explained this to us so now here is his explanation and he said unto them unto unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God but unto them that are without all these things are done in parables so Jesus said there are people who who don't have what you have they don't understand so I'm going to use an illustration to try to show them how the kingdom of God works verse 12 he says that seeing they may see and not perceive and hearing they may hear and not understand lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven them verse 13 and he said unto them know you not this parable and how then will you know all parables basically Jesus says that every parable in the Bible is attached to this one parable and he says if you don't know this parable in the Bible then how in the world will you be able to understand any parable that you read I used to call this the granddaddy parable of them all and that's that this one that we're looking at right now the pair of the parable of the sore all right now watch this so now all of a sudden this is important this is important for every Christian to understand and for person people are not born again to get a hold of that in the midst of chaotic times like the day we got the word we have authority of the seed and the harvest praise God we don't have to be afraid when you when you don't have a job when they close down because God's gonna take care of you he's gonna give you the ability to believe God for another job so he starts off explaining this parable and he starts off like this the sword is the one that shows the word the sore shows the word so when he was talking about that sore in the beginning he was actually talking about us sowing the word now watch this and these are they by the wayside where the word is sown but when they have heard Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts so the word is equal to the scene and the farmer is equal to you and I and he says here that we sow the word like a farmer souls the seed go back we sow the word like the farmer souls the seed and these are they by the wayside where the word is sown where the word is sown but when they have heard the word so now here's what happens the word is sown I'm preaching the word to you right now I'm sawing the word to you right now and notice what he warns us of and Satan cometh immediately Satan cometh immediately to do what to take away the word that has been sown you see bearing fruit is never a problem with the seed but the problem is always with the soil it's always with the saw that it follows on and once you hear the word Satan is going to try to take it why would Satan be interested in taking the word because he knows that what it can produce he knows what it can give birth to he knows that it can bring forth the harvest so Satan cometh immediately to take the word that was sown think about your life that every time you hear the word of God you come to church or you log on you get the word and then immediately Satan comes how does he come he comes to take away the word that was song in their hearts how does he do it let's keep reading verse 16 verse 16 he says and these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground who when they have written when they heard the word immediately they received it with gladness what happened and having no root in them and so in do it but for a time afterwards when affliction or persecution arises for what say the words sake immediately they off ended their off ended now here's what he says Satan uses affliction and persecute to take the word in other words if you take the word of God and the word says I'm healed and then all of a sudden you get sick and then all of a sudden they diagnosed with you with cancer then all of a sudden you're like well I don't really believe the word and you give up the seed that's going to grow that's why the Bible talks about patience so you can hold on to the word you hold on to the work how Satan is coming with persecution and affliction that's why the Bible warns us they that live godly shall suffer persecution the way the devil takes the word from you is trying to surround you with some persecution some hard times something that's hard on your flesh that's what it's about how you can stand in the middle of an attack that's what spiritual warfare is spiritual warfare is I have the seed I have the Word of God I have the promise of God I'm gonna keep it I'm gonna hold to it I'm gonna stand with it and persecution is coming to try to get my seed and you say I'm not gonna let you get my scene I'm not gonna let you give me because if I let you get my seat I will get my harvest and you might have to cry but hold on to your seed and you might have to sweat but hold on to your seed and you might have to tremble but hold on to your seed why because if you can hold on to your seed your harvest is assured praise God don't let persecution take your seat don't let the spirit of the vision take your seat don't let negative emotions take your scene don't let trouble take your seed don't let the pandemic take your seed why because your harvest is that hand and I mean you should shut the devil up on that end of him to do what are you gonna do what is he gonna do when you keep he keeps showing up with persecution and you keep wiping it off like now no I'm not gonna be bothered with you today I'm not gonna be bothered with you today you do what you need to do it's almost kind of like what he did with Joel man I mean Joel laughs like everything his ability to uh to live his children everything and here's how job responded I'm gonna still worship God shaved his head and just started worshipping God and then he said things like though you slay me yet will I serve you he God wasn't slanting but even he was come I'm moving and then everything he lost got restored it back to him I mean why because once you get that seed and hold on to it I don't care what's going on your life it may look like you're never gonna get your harvest but your harvest is coming your harvest comes some I said I don't see it yet that's because the seed has to grow down before it grows up it has to grow down to develop a root on the inside of you and when you're walking around sho'nuff sure about that word that you've been hanging around and then once you enter into rest that's when you know that the root is developed even though you don't see anything yet once you enter into peace and rest that's when you know that you're grounded even though you don't see nothing yet and you just walk in peace because you won't let the devil have the word the Bible says Satan comes immediately to take that word that means after this dream is over and after this sermon is over Satan is coming immediately to try to take away the word don't be surprised if you get a crazy phone call don't be surprised that something stupid happen today or tomorrow it's just the devil trying to take away the word that's gonna bring you your harvest he can't afford for this word to get out because now every Christian will absolutely ignore his junk because they are assured of how to operate in the system of God just hang on to the word just hang on to the word because let me tell you something the first thing you get your first harvest I mean to tell you the devil can wrap it up because if he doesn't watch you're gonna be sure oh man he'll do it again friend of mine Jonathan Xena used to say if he did it once he'll do it again and a lot of you have seen what I'm preaching a lot of you've experienced what I'm talking about you just let it slip pandemic is no different than any other tribulation and persecution you handled it the same way you handled everything else get the word sword in your heart meditate in that word stick with that word and watch it bring forth the manifestation man I'm excited glory be to God come on where we he says and these are they which are sown among thorns now this is what it means to be sauna Mon thorn such as hear the word now you're hearing the word but watch what he says next verse and the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the lusts of other things for that's big enter in and choke the word and the word become a thumb few fruitful let's milk this just a little bit go back let's milk it just a little bit he says and the cares of this world so the word comes in you hear the word but now you're full of care now you're full of worry oh wow Jesus what about that now you're full of panic panic is groundless fear you're afraid of something that don't even exist the cares of the world will enter in and choke the word that's why Jesus said cast all your care on me because I care for you why when you hold on to the care like thorns it'll choke the seed of God's Word and it won't it won't bear any fruit now are you walking around still carrying the care are you walking around carrying something that God said to give to him you know what that makes you if you still have the care and you know you brag about well I just worry you still you know that makes you prideful that's a prideful person you you're prideful because you you won't humble yourself and do what he told you to do he didn't tell you to carry the care you're like you're gonna get some trophy because you woke up in the morning still worried about something well I just worry that's not I can't happen I just worry no you were just prideful and God's trying to come through to come in your life God's trying to cause a harvest to come in your life but you're still walking around with the care of the world the cares of the world instead of giving it to him cast it on him because he cares for you Oh what I'm just worried about my cheering I'm worried about my cheering oh I just don't want him to get too cozy the cove in 19 you better give the old cheering to the Lord he'll take care of he loves them more than you do and I guarantee and take care of better than you can and so that's the reason why people are not walking fruitful because they keep the cares of the world and then the deceitfulness of riches I understand more about this phrase today than I've ever understood before in my life the deceitfulness of riches how is it that riches can deceive you riches will deceive you by getting you to think that you can trust them more than you can trust God riches will deceive you and getting you to think that you need them more than you need God you know what the deceitfulness of riches is called Mammon it's that demon spirit of Mammon Mammon says that you don't need God Mammon says don't trust God Mammon says you need money and riches more than you need God and what will happen is is when you start walking into the sea fulness of riches you'll let that word seed go and you'll just start doing everything to try to get the money all of a sudden the money can move you to do things that God can't move you to do all of a sudden money is the motivation behind the things that you do money's the motivation behind the decisions that you make and you don't trust God you trust the money more than you trust God and if you trust God when you need money you'll get it to you but you don't trust God anymore you know the Bible says the Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil so somewhere along the line here if the love of money is the root of all evil what is the love of money the love of money is not having money money is not evil it's the love of money that's the root of all evil what's the love of money it's when you trust money more than you trust God that's the love of money and when you trust money more than you trust God that's the root to all evil everything evil can happen when you trust money more than you trust God and when you trust money more you trust God you're operating in the deceitfulness of riches and you won't bear any fruit you won't bear any fruit because you won't trusting them Bob says trust in the Lord with all your heart lean not into your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him he will direct your path but the deceitfulness of riches and the demon spirit of Mammon says trust money do what you got to do to get it work hard for it to commit yourself to it the demon of Mammon is trying to get you to join his church Mammon Watts followers Manon wants to be honored Mammon wants to be like God Mammon wants to meet your needs and Mammon will do whatever it needs to do Mammon will enslave people Mammon will lie to people Mammon will deceive people Mammon will will use people Mammon will oppress people Mammon will kill people Mammon will lie to people and you'll dismiss the word and it will not bring fruit and then he says and the lust of other things that's coming that's come on amendment the lust for other things the the the the intense appetite for other things start entering in it starts entering in and and all of a sudden the King God's Way is not working fast enough and and and and and so you're willing to replace God with something else that's called idolatry whereas God was first place in your life now he's no longer 1st place in your life because you know it's just not happening quick enough I've got a desire and a lust for other things I want to fulfill my fleshly desire I don't care about nobody else ain't got I mean self-preservation is my life it's my time I want what I want right now and got time for God unless God don't do this unless God don't give me that millionaire status is God gonna make me famous now if they don't do that then I got to do what I got to do that enters in and it chokes the word and at the end of the day the Word of God would have treated you better and longer than the way you chose to do it what's choking the word in your life what's stopping you or stopping the word from being unfruitful in your life I know I know there's some of you you're thinking I'm ridiculous but I mean dude I'm happy you think I'm ridiculous yeah but I've had cancer and healing was born in my life I've gone through things that people don't know what I've gone through and that God's Word bought me out if it weren't for God's Word I'd be dead if it weren't for God's Word I'd be somewhere if it wasn't for God's Word I lost my mind there are things that the world cannot offer the world can offer you a big house but he cannot promise you it'll be a home the world can offer you a hospital it can offer you medicine but there are certain things they don't have medicine for but God can heal you praise God and God can deliver you praise God you can have to choose because we're at a time right now where like the Taffy said earlier systems are failing and you're depending on systems look at you today you dependent on systems it failed you it is failing you and it's going to continue to fail you until you bow your knee and repent and say Jesus come into my life come into my heart what else has got to happen before you realize that your way is not the right way the Bible says there is a there is a way there is a path that that that some people will take and and it will lead you to some places I'm trying to amplify but the end thereof men choose path but they don't know the end of the path that they chosen its destruction at the end it's death at the end it's betrayal at the end because she chose a path that wasn't of God you chose a way that wasn't God's Way and you won't know that it's the wrong way until you've wasted half your life and at the end nothing at the end didn't turn out like you thought I don't have time to waste my life or to waste my time I'm gonna stick with something that's sure I'm gonna stick with something that's never failed I'm going to stick with God I'm gonna stick with his word I'm gonna stick with his seed and I'll be able to testify about it one day come on let's go to the next verse he says and these are they which are sown on good ground that's what we want how to sow God's Word on good soil soil that trust God Saul that relies on God how do i sorting soil that that's that's been fertilize with God's Word and the life of God and a relationship with God these are they which are sown on good ground such as they hear the word what's this and they receive it they don't debate about it they hear it and they say I believe it they hear the word and they say I believe it that's God's Word I believe it I received that word they hear the word they receive the word and what happens then they bring forth fruit they hear it and they receive it see when you live by the Word of God and you say you believe God's Word and you trust God's Word the Bible talks about I think is Isaiah 26 and 3 he says you keep your mind stayed on me he says I'll keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusts thee you're not gonna keep your mind on something you don't trust and when you say you trust God you keep your mind on him you keep your mind on him why because you trust him I keep my mind on him it's gonna be all right I keep my mind on him I get that scripture I write that script you down I put it in my pocket if I have to I don't need but two or three of them and I keep my mind on him and when I get the drift in the way I get my mind back I pull it back in really back in I keep my mind on him good ground is where they hear the word and they receive it when you receive something you take possession of it when you receive something you clear out all doubt and fear and panic and you say this is this is the truth this is what I stand on you know you know the real authentic place of knowing that you've received the word there's no more panic there's no more stress you've entered into rest you've entered into a risk when you say you receive something dude there's no doubt about it I'm not going back and forth I'm not debating with it over it I receive it which means I rest in this in fact once I receive it I find rest once I receive it I find peace they keep in perfect peace I find peace because I receive it so you know some people be talking on spirits to talk to my I receive it and they'll bit more receive it I can tell you you know if you receive it or not when the contradiction shows up will you still have peace about it it'll be fine they turn your lights off and you respond like this it's fine yes I it's good that's what you receive something see the authenticity of your Christian your Christianity is is gonna be tested it's gonna be tested I mean you know that's what religion is all about it's like pretending that you have something that you don't have and and I'm telling you man when you receive it you have it and the peace of God that passes understanding is in your life he says well I got time for this this just sound like too much now this just sounds like a relationship because when you hear about how much God loves you then you are interested in reading his love letters that's the Bible and then you're interested in talking to him that's prayer and you're interested in telling somebody else about him that's evangelism that starts off when you really believe that God loves you and I really believe that God loves me and I want to read his love letters I'm not reading the Bible like it's this chore and oh god I hate reading all that that's not what I'm doing oh god I know you love me oh god I know you love me oh and I want to read more about your love and I want to talk to your Lord and I want to thank you and I want to appreciate you and I want to dwell in your presence and I want to I want to fall and your glory I want to I want to be with you and I want to sense your presence go over to God I want to want to tell somebody else about you this is real man this ain't no jackleg religion where we come together and getting an emotional high and then go home back into her to the same old stuff this is something we live every day and while we're not perfect we know the foundation that holds us we know it's Jesus that holds us we know it's just work that's how I need the word I needed the word when they told me I had cancer I needed the word when they when they when they when they told me that my son that much I had diseases my spine I needed a word when when I didn't know how to pay my rent and all my money spent I needed a word when I'm under attack and people talking about me and don't even know me and believe everything somebody said I needed to word and it's the word that kept me it's a word that healed me it's a word that kept me sound it's the word that delivered me it's the word that delivered me from shame and guilt and condemnation it's the word that helped me to keep going on when I want it to quit and just go to another country then don't listen to what I'm saying anyway it's the word that bought me peace in the midst of turmoil it's the word that takes care of me today it's the word that takes care of you today I ain't leaving it I'm not leaving it the Bible tells me to be full of this word of grace and to pay attention to this word of grace hallelujah he said receive it and it'll bring forth through some 30 some 60 some a hundredfold and I'm going for that hundredfold praise God you know the word is a seed that grows within us the word is a seed that grows within us it's a lamp that glows within us so the word is a seed that grows and the word is a lamp that glows but you got to get that word on the inside of you you got to get that word on the inside of your praise God Oh hallelujah bless His Holy Name all right now watch this verse 21 and he said unto them is the candle brought to be put under a bushel or under a bed no and not to be set on a candlestick you bought it to put it on a candlestick so you can light it so can illuminate and provide light so you'll know where you're going he says for there is nothing here which shall not be manifested neither was anything kept secret but that it comes brought when you plant a seed here's the powerful thing about a seed it's cover up it's hidden it's covered up it's hidden and the Bible says there's nothing hid that shall not be manifested and that the Bible says hide the word in your heart that you might not sin against thee so whatever is hidden he says it'll be manifested praise God verse 23 if any man have ears to hear or perceive let him hear 24 and he said unto them take heed what you hear with what measure you meet how you gonna measure this out how are you gonna take this seriously what measure you mete it shall be measured to you and unto you that here more will be given more revelation will be given I believe that those of you who are good or understanding this revelations being given and more is gonna be given verse 25 for he that hath to him shall be given and he that hath not from him shall be taken even that which he had praised God look forward to more be given to you now look at verse 26 and he said unto them so is the kingdom of God alright here it is again the kingdom of God is as if a man should cast seed into the ground Wow cast seed into the ground he says the kingdom of God works the same way like a farmer cast seed in the ground the Soraa cast seed into a person's heart and he said so is the kingdom of God is like a seed that you cast into the ground and should sleep and rise night and day and the seed should spring and grow up he knoweth not how so I plant a seed in the ground I go to bed I get up I go to bed I get up I go to bed I get up I'm taking care of meseta I look man it's growing I can't give you the intricate explanation of how and why but it does for the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself first the blade then the ear after that the full corn in the ear he says the kingdom works the same way 29 he said it works the same way but when the fruit is brought forth immediately he put it in the sickle because the harvest has come he's just described how this works he's comparing it to the natural processes of a farmer putting a seed in the ground taking care of it going to bed getting up then the harvest comes then he takes two harvests into his life praise God and Jesus is the lord of the and he said we're on to shall we liken the kingdom of God or with what comparison shall we compare the kingdom of God verse 31 it's like a grain of mustard seed that's a small thing which when it is sown in the earth there it is again is less than all the seeds that be in the earth what's this but when it is sown it groweth up when the Word of God is sown it's written grows in your life and it becoming greater than all the herbs and it shooteth out great branches so that the files and the birds of the air can make their home and lodge under the shadow of it I'm telling you your song the word in your heart people can't see it they don't even believe it but if they keep the eye on you you're about to give birth to a tremendous harvest praise God verse 33 and with many such parables Speight he the word under them as they were able to hear it 34 but without a parable he and say anything's on and when they were alone he expounded all things to his disciples now after all of this about how the kingdom of God operates the disciples are now gonna take a test and the same day when the evening was calm he said unto them let us pass over to the other side jesus said we are going to pass over to the other side that's their seed that's the word he put the words in their heart let's see what happens watch this and when they had sent away the multitude they took him even as he was in the ship and there were also with him other little ships next verse and these arose a great and there arose a great storm of wind and the waves beat into the ship so that it was now full 38 and he was with that he's in the back part of the ship asleep on a pillow see when you really believe something you rest and they awaken and they say unto Him master don't you care that that carest thou not that we perish verse 39 he and he arose he rebuked the wind he said unto the sea peace be still the wind ceased and that was great calm next verse now look what Jesus asked he said unto them why are you so fearful how is it that you have no faith how is it that how is it that before we got on this journey you you were so built up and Phazer why did you have a short burst of faith what what happened what you believe when we when we when we when we pushed off what would happen how is it that you don't have no faith they feared exceedingly and said unto one another what manner of man is this that even the wind and the sea obey them I'm asking you right now how is it that you have no faith look at all the things you've heard some things you let slip but you pick them back up I'm asking you to pick your faith up that that that faith that takes possession of what Jesus is made available everything's done it needs your faith to lay hold of it sure things are going on in the earth today sure it can be just too much to be dealing with don't deal with it listen all I'm saying now put your focus on Jesus become so occupied with that word that that's the harvest that comes up in your life people are going to need answers once they realize that they're chaotic way is not working and it's time for us to be a demonstration of infallible proofs representing the kingdom of God here on this earth we are Christians we are believers we are those who are of Christ so we can't act like the world talk like the world respond like the world getting mad like the world we can't do that I believe God's Way is the best way we just need to start demonstrating it preach to your family at home that's your first church preach to your employees at work on break time of course they spread the gospel jesus said then the end will come let's preach the gospel let's tell people about Jesus let's show them the authority of the believer all is well with you in fact if you're here today by stream and you've never made Jesus the Lord of your life you're saying man I just didn't know this stuff some of you heard this for the first time like I I never is always gonna be chaotic it's always gonna be a wonder it's always gonna be frustration and confusion and you'll not know the peace that I'm talking about today because this peace only comes in
