ending love towards us towards our loved ones father we appreciate you this morning father we thank you we say be done glorified in jesus name may your name be highly exalted above of your older god father we are grateful for this morning made our glorified in jesus name we slept as a baby yesterday here we are the giant this morning this is the first sunday of the month lord we are not taking it for granted rather we are appreciating you because you're a good god because you're a loving father you loved us so much you kept us you kept our families it's not because we know how to walk in your presence it's not because we ought to pray it's not because we know how to sin right it's your grace and your mercy daddy thank you father thank you holy ghost thank you baba thank you we appreciate you we say thank you you wanna call robert with you thank you as a family as an individual but i would have come to appreciate you i've come to return all glory back unto you because you know this body of our prayers father thank you thank you thank you allah we appreciate if we had ten thousand tongues lord it won't be enough to thank you baba for deleting we can say this morning father accept free amen why do we give god praise why do we thank god on a daily basis this morning brethren will be ungrateful if we cannot give god the praises that i deserve remember we started this year into 2021 with some people even with our family that we know but they are nowhere to be found today brothers and sisters why is it very important that we give thanks to god because of his or feeling love psalm 107 says who give things unto the lord for his good and his mercies and your rest forever why do we give thanks unto the lord because of his grace giving to us in jesus christ first corinthians war 4. why do we give thanks unto god because he gave us victory through our lord jesus christ first corinthians 15 57 why do we give thanks unto god he answered our prayer and become our salvation psalm 118 verse 21 he redeemed us while we are still a sinner the lord jesus christ redeemed us while we are still a sinner christ died for me and you romans 5 8 we give thanks to god because he has qualified us to share his inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of life brothers and sisters even if things are not going well with you or you don't receive answers to your prayers remember is to god god is to god this morning let us allow our spiritual father to shed more light and give us more understanding on reason why we need to give thanks unto god always whatever is left for you to finish this year with joy must come into your life this night [Music] some stuck in [Music] hallelujah now this has been a year with mixed experiences for some of us one of our brothers here lost his mom just a few days ago and so many things have happened that can deter us from seeing the faithfulness of god and listen while i was meditating on the few things that i'll be sharing i was talking to god i said but lord it's only natural for people to have heavy hearts when their purposes are disappointed and the spirit of god spoke expressed me he said it's not just natural it is human hallelujah said it is human the son is in this chapter was communicating a lamentation things were not working in his life hallelujah david was a very interesting figure because one moment you will celebrate the victory of christ or the victory of of god in his life and then the next moment is in another trouble it was as though his entire life was a pendulum of troubles and victories so he was one person who understood what it meant to be in trouble and to experience the salvation of god while i was just going through psalms i saw this scripture and it blessed me so much and i felt that for many of us and of course speaking beyond just this place for those following us online there's so many people who may probably say there is no reason to give god thanks this year people lost loved ones many things did not go as it should expectations of people were cut short and so they may feel that there's really no reason to give thanks hallelujah and then i saw this scripture and i'd like to start with it just a charge tonight how long will thou forget me oh lord forever this was a psalmist just the way some of you talk to god when you are alone right so you see it didn't start with you a man can be so frustrated you can speak in a way that later on you say lord i'm sorry it happened to joe when there were boils and the paint had lost his money lost cattle lost his influence i mean he was he was an object of mercury men would look at him and say job you were once a symbol of royalty and now you've been reduced to ashes and so job he was tired of the frustration even his wife said cause god had died but he came to a point where he gave thanks and encouraged himself but he kept giving thanks in advance hoping things would change and after a while he said come let me talk to god myself and joe began to talk to god and so the son is here said how long will you forget me how long will you forget my family 10 years we have not even built a single house and lord we serve you in faithfulness how long how long will thou hide thy face from me verse 2 it says how long shall i take counsel in my soul having sorrow in my heart daily [Music] how long shall my enemy be exalted over me a painful experience to see those who mock your god still rule you he said how long shall my enemies he says consider and hear me o lord my god lighten my eyes lest i sleep the sleep of death he said no don't let this depression kill me i love you but at this point i am full of sorrow and i may lie down and sleep and not wake up again lest my enemies say i have prevailed against him and those that trouble me rejoice when i moved there are people in the village who said let's see how you will move and it looks like their prophecy is coming to pass in spite of your prayer and fasting they say just keep fasting and they are still laughing they said this is december like we predicted has happened he said but i have trusted in thy mercy and in spite of all of these things my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation next verse i will sing unto the lord because he has dealt bountifully or wondrously with me now hold on this is very interesting someone just finished lamenting he began to list a number of laws in his life and all of a sudden i believe by the ministry of the holy spirit there must have been a conversation that suddenly changed what he was saying how can a man just switch from regret to praise something must have happened a few faces communicating lamentations and he just said anyway i'm sure that god began to tell him is he not because you are even alive that you can have hope there is only hope for the living hallelujah and now brothers and sisters is human for us to see everything that god has not done lord i believed you that the man will come this year and according to the prophecy you received in january you ran as if you were already marched by january and this is december nowhere didn't know nothing lord i thought that i would have graduated i thought i would have done this and that i thought that you would have brought major breakthroughs people had all kinds of projects plans whatever it is lord i thought my ministry would have gone to another dimension right now but he said in spite of it how ridiculous for the things you have done listen not just for the things you have not done we concentrate on what god has not done lord you did two out of ten lord if you were alive why did this happen and god says it's because i'm dead that's why it was not worse than it is no man on earth has tested the tragedy of job no man in one day under that kind of circumstance but job said though he slay me yet will i praise is god speaking to us there are many people who carry a lot of burden some of you are seated right now as you are here in this place where where your money to feed you don't even have because already from home they've told you there's nothing you hear people announcing all over nigeria there's no money workers have not been paid all kinds of things happening hallelujah people have been downsized retrenched from jobs all kinds of things have happened to people sorrow upon sorrow upon soul but many of us are downcast but let me tell you something he said i will sing onto the lord he said because although it looks like a disadvantage he has dealt contrastly with me i've had the privilege to go and see people in the hospital and there is one very touching sister she suffered from leukemia for almost all through this year she would bleed through her nose bleed you know just all kinds of of of terrible thing extremely low pcb all kinds of things happening in his acid swellings all over her body sometimes not even able to hold it from but every time i get to talk with this lady all she says is my god is faithful my god is faithful there are times the nurse will send me a text and say for three days this lady has not slept and they say all she's doing is praying in tops praying in tongues hallelujah lose blood and lose everything they kept transferring her from all kinds of you know places that lady has gone up i cannot begin to tell you every time she calls me baban and she says babana god is faith and then i keep thinking i say my goodness look at this lady you can't stand up and do you know before this sickness came she just got a good job very well paid job that she had never been able to resume yet her language sometimes it gets so bad and she says honestly babanam discouraged she's supposed to undergo a surgery i think tomorrow or or next humanly speaking they are just trying to manage her situation for some of you who are medical people you know that when leukemia gets to its terminal state when i heard about the bills it had to be daddy and nature who had to show that a major part of the bills millions of naira yet in the midst of it this lady will still send me a seed of 200 nara recharge cut and i'll call her and say you're crazy what is going on here praising my way to victory i'm praising my way to victory i'm praising my way to victory victory i am praising my way through victory i'm praising my way to victory i'm praising my way to feed to it listen the bible says a merry heart do it good like medicine let me not go ahead of myself let me just give a quick charge about the mystery of praise and worship why do we need to praise god why do we need to exalt his name in a world where it looks like we are full of all kinds of uncertainties graduate without jobs many people just getting by hallelujah a world full of penance uncertainty why do we need to praise god i want you to know that praise is one of the mysteries of the spirit praise and thanksgiving one of the mysteries of the kingdom he said it has been given unto you to know the mysteries is not just an activity praise and thanksgiving are mysteries in the spirit just like the blood just like the name just like the cross why do we need to praise him number one praise is a command psalm 150 verse 6 praise is a command if you are alive then you must praise him because there is a god he said let everything that heart breath praise the lord let everything so long as you have breath he said praise the lord it's a command you don't praise god when you feel like it you don't thank god when you feel like it you don't praise and thank god just when you have testimonies it's a command it says i lay me down some street and i slept he said i wait for the lord sustain me i lay me down and i slept a lot happens between the four five six eight hours that we we practically die in the night and yet we wake up only to complain and grumble let everything that has prayed praise the lord number two let me tell you a powerful mystery praise is a key to health and longevity a life of praise and thanksgiving praise is a key to health and longevity proverbs chapter 17 verse 22 proverbs 17 verse 22 praise is a key to health there are many people let me tell you something have you noticed that every time the devil wants to destroy you the first thing that comes is that he brings you to a point of silence through depression the characteristic feature of depression is that it brings you to a point where you are robbed of joy and flavor a merry heart do it good like what so he likens the it describes the therapeutic effect of your very heart it says it do a good life in the similitude the same way someone has malaria and takes a malaria drug and after a few minutes he revives he said when you praise god it will do you good in that simulation he said but a broken spirit does what dries up the bones dries up the bones a broken spirit dries up the bones lord i see the things you have not done if you are still alive why is my father in this situation why is my mother in this situation 10 years my sister has not been able to put to bed he said let everything that has breath praise alone and he says a merry heart a heart of joy one of the greatest secrets of my life is that i live a life of praise and thanksgiving you will never hear from my mouth oh god you would have done it this way no no no no and i learned that from god's servant bishop the fluidity he said one of the secrets of his life it took me years to truly understand the mystery behind praise i know that living faith as an assembly and most of our fathers of faith engage massively in praise they would dance they will sin they will celebrate not just worship you know this generation we do a lot of worship and all of that we accept but i've been praised they want to hear all those instruments and they would dance dance and do a lot of things and just rejoice like some of us did and some of you were watching and wondering why should they just be jumping around like that hallelujah a merry heart to wet like bits praise is a key to health and longevity you hardly find depressed people live long because it does them a lot of evil i'm not a medical person but i'm smart enough to know that when you live your life with joy and happiness and listen we live in a system where everything around our lives if you are not careful will bring you to a point of depression you listen to the news this and that has happened no money this and that your home there's fire on the mountain your life there's fire on the mountain everywhere and it brings you to a point where you worry high blood pressure what we call bp used to be the sickness of all people these are not true once people cross maybe 50 or 60 you can just say kai baba's right you know all this one that is thinking but right now you see a young person of 21 years they can't perform a surgery because his blood pressure is high oh god what are you thinking about is in life 21 at 21 it's already seen this life have you seen that kind of thing a young person just sits down put his hand like this say pros that's the popular language now life in other words life what have you done what about trace it's one secret of health and longevity number three praise is a key to invoking god's presence psalms 22 verse 3 praise is a key to invoking god's presence psalm 22 verse 3 listen the bible lets us know that god inhabits the praises he inhabits the praises he makes the atmosphere of praise his dwelling peace hallelujah he says but thou art holy all doubted in happy test the praise of israel when i begin to praise god and thank him in spite of what is happening i is like a magnet i compel his presence and every time god shows up there is always a solution are you getting blessed rather than complaining you magnetize the presence of his majesty as you praise him i remember rejoining wrote a book very powerful book the final question many of his revelatory books and he said something he said in the vision that he was shown he said when angels see believers praise god they are that's why they serve believers with every sense of majesty and i said the reason is because their angels consistently behold the presence of god so the presence and the majesty of god compels them to praise him but a believer here on earth that is not given to see spiritual things and in the midst of his pain he still praises god that is a marvel to the angels but thou art holy who in happy test the praise of joshua self and so if i make my life and my atmosphere a place of praise look fight everything that kills your praise and kills gratitude fight it like you will fight immorality fight it like you will fight the devil hallelujah i refuse to allow anything steal my praise is an asset praise is an asset after all is said and done when the dust settles your praises and uncle it will keep you standing when men think that your life is finished and they even take the beat waiting for you to die when you hold on to praise on thanksgiving you will be the last man standing after everything is said and done friends are you getting blessed psalms 100 says entities gets the protocol of his presence and touches gates with thanksgiving when you enter the gate you can stop there but if you still want to proceed he said into his courts with praise it look if you want to see the hand of god in your life you must subscribe to his thumbs he will not subscribe to your terms because he is king he says enter his gate with thanksgiving so you begin to give him thanks and praise and into his thoughts with praise he said come before him with sin you come before him not with crumbling not with complaining i tell you if many nigerians will reduce the time they use to gossip and curse and complain and begin to give thanks bless god for our mothers and any mother in this place may god follow you because most of our mothers have mastered this thing they may not be tongue talkers and praying in tongues but i tell you they know how to praise god they find songs that only them can see if they don't know the remaining part of the world they look for something that looks like their testimony and complete the sentence and where there is nothing they added with human let the praise continue let nothing stop it lord you are so cool you are worthy of all my brains lord you are so good all my grace you are so cool peace listen to me i'm going to share something powerful right now i believe that this is one of the greatest mystery behind praise praise is a mystery that turns around misfortunes and impossible situations into victory place is a spiritual technology that can turn away the captivity of a man's life and put a testimony in his mouth second chronicles 20 please let's look at a very interesting event that happened to a man called jehoshaphat the power of praise let's start from verse 16. second chronicles 20 the ammonites and all of these guys came and they were going to conquer jehoshaphat many nations came together listen i want to share with you something that will bless you when you come to the end of your road we're humanly speaking there is no way out switch to place i know this looks childish but if you can engage thanksgiving and praise you can turn around captivity no matter how long it takes keep praising and you will see the right hand of god come upon you and so the the the man of god was in big trouble and he said tomorrow he go down now this was a prophecy that came came for them he says he go down against them behold they come up by the cliff of this and you shall find them at the end of the proof before the wilderness of jericho let me let me open to that place so that will just rush the place that is necessary verse okay verse 17 let's continue no no no verse 17. it says ye shall not need to fight in this battle hallelujah god is speaking to somebody he said you have praised me you shall not need to fight in this battle he said set yourself stand ye still and see the salvation of the lord with you o judah and jerusalem fear not because that's what situations do in our lives they create fear and you are face to face with fear your rent has expired and they now tell you they are kicking the whole family out and your father cannot sleep because they're giving you a deadline it says fear not somebody preach to yourself fear not come on talk to yourself fear not i refuse to fear no be dismayed he said tomorrow go out against them for the lord will be with you hallelujah verse 18 read down to 2021 and jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground and all judah and the inhabitants of jerusalem they fell before the lord worshipping the lord from the good news they had gotten and the levites and the and the children of the gohan knights and the children of the court eyes and all of those people stood up to do what to praise the lord the god of israel with a loud voice we'll call it the healer with a loud voice and then what happened 20 mark and they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of decor and as they went for jehoshaphat stood and said hear me o judah and the inhabitants of jerusalem believe in the lord your god so shall you be established believing his prophet social he prospered 21 and when the and when he had consulted with the people he appointed what now see how he arranged the army when you are going to fight you put strong men in front but he said this is a strategy where are the singers he said he appointed singers unto the lord that they should praise the beauty of holiness and as they went out before the army and to say praise the lord for his mercy is that how you fight war is that how you've added after they are about to take over a nation those guys have sharpened their thoughts and their balls and jerusalem said just believe me because you are about to use a crazy weapon he said singers i want to see you in front where are the trumpeters and all this all i want you to do is match to the enemy singing praise the lord through his mercy endures and when they began to sing prabha teleketa man to break a teleca not before when they began to sing and to stood against the inhabitants of monsieur a team going together all of a sudden as they were praising controversy started in their camp two teams came together and killed the first one utterly to slay and destroy them listen he said and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of syria everyone helped to destroy another my goodness please let's come some come come my brother these guys well armed one of them alone can destroy me but the bible says that they began to sin and they were just plain instruments i'm sure these guys were saying we will so kill them who cut their heads because it was the way they did it they carried the head of the king like they did for goliath and said this is a symbol of utter defeat and while they were doing it something happened they were dumb and some all of a sudden kill these guys say you are small let's start with you immediately they finished it the bible said they helped he said have you killed this one let me help you and the last person said now we have to remain in truth and they kill themselves the bible says they have to destroy one another now watch this i went through that cave that means one notice when the victory was being worn the praises didn't see it but they were still praising [Music] are you getting my point oh you don't need to see the victory to praise you just need to know that god is doing something now watch this if they had stopped there would have been still some enemies left to destroy them but they kept sinking they were going to climb the valley i'm showing their hearts they said lord it doesn't matter whatever if we perish we perish all of a sudden they came towards the watchtower in the wilderness and they looked onto the multitude and what did they see behold there were dead bodies falling to the earth unknown the angels made sure the last person killed the other person i give you the chance falling verse 25 please he said and when jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil so i do you go for war with spoil do you carry gold and silver you know that was the same thing that happened in samaria by this time tomorrow brothers and sisters people are not duffed how do you carry gold and treasures to go for war when god is ready to lift you sometimes he will make he will make the enemy look as though he has an advantage so that he will disgrace him utterly god will allow people to finish lambasting you when they finish one by one god will now answer them by himself sometimes many of us are too impatient you are scattering the film allow them to finish talking when they finish god says now you sit back and let me respond when god answers a man on your behalf you will hear oh yes he will hear for sure for sure for sure he says and they found among them in abundance both reaches with the dead bodies a man carried knife and carried gold he now died and left the goal same massive kick down well transfer [Music] to break every chain praise is a weapon listen praise is a children of zion be joyful in their king let them place his name in what he said let them sing praises and with the timbrel and the heart for the lord taketh pleasure in his people he said you will purify the meek with salvation let the saints be joyful in glory let them sing aloud even upon their beds let this be an attitude that takes beyonce even on your bed let the high praise the healer of god be upon their mouth and what else and a two-edged sword in their hands the prophet dimension of praise to do what to execute vengeance upon the hidden and punishment upon the people he said to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fretters of iron to execute upon them the judgment written this honor have all the saints praising the lord when you begin to praise with revelation the bible says the high priest is on your mouth and the sword of the word of god upon your hands he said you will begin to execute vengeance upon the wicked there is there is something that has been written in the bible concerning them but it is your praise that makes it happen hallelujah praise a weapon i know how many times praise has bailed me out and built this ministry so many times i lock up myself and i just say lord i thank you i praise you listen i'd like you to enter a covenant of destiny tonight that complaint will never come out of your mind and many of you will see that even now before you celebrate new year the things that would have come january to december would not match it praise praise you didn't get admission lord i give you praise i may not understand i can't pretend i'm happy about it but i give you praise and people say you don't you get angry i understand that whenever i am praising god i'm on the winning side you want to be on god's side it says the shout of the king is in the midst of them and therefore they could not be caused hallelujah complaining moment god you did this god you did that take that away from your life how about gratitude very quickly let me just share with you one key gratitude is the key to increasing multiplication in the kingdom gratitude gratitude psalm 67 from verse 5 and 6 psalm 67 gratitude when you want to see more of anything in your life the key is to be grateful listen listen if i give david down calm them down if i give david this handkerchief and he receives it with gratitude and he celebrates it says i'm grateful i'm truly grateful and i look at how much a handkerchief of 100 naira you understand this anchor chief is just 100 nana why should you complain tomorrow i will not just give him a handkerchief because i know this guy is grateful increase and he keeps saying thank you that's what happens you will never see the hand of god if you don't celebrate his finger and you will never see all of god if you don't celebrate his hand he said until the spirit be poured upon us from on high the first thing that will happen is the wilderness will become one vine if you thank god for that one fine the one fine will become a fruitful forest gratitude gratitude many ministries may never move beyond their current level because they are always complaining lord be printed posters see how many people have come to our church complaining gratitude our first crusade did not have many people we said lord we think thank you there were times we didn't have the finance to do what we had to do we went for crusade and this we were owing people we couldn't pay for the sound but all through the midst of the pain we said lord thank you thank you you must make up your mind to access these mysteries of praise and thanksgiving you will see multiplicity you will see victories you cannot account for that while you are thanking god and saying lord i didn't build the house you said but at least you bought the land and while you are praying somebody tells you the lord told me aha that's how you know it's god the lord told me that i should give you so so amount to kill the house brothers and sisters there is nothing that is too hard for god to do the reason why we judge god is because we cannot see the complete picture of where he is taking us to are you getting what i'm saying [Music] there are times that when you do not understand what is happening in your life just praise just praise sometimes in doing it tears will come out from your eyes keep praising and say lord i thank you what happened i lost the admission thank you what happened the guy said he will marry me again look at the embarrassment we've told all our uncles and aunties and now everybody's mocking me forget you don't need to defend yourself don't waste your time father mother looks at you and says you're an embarrassment to all of us you brought a man here you start with all of us and now what kind of irresponsible person are you and you go back feeling down castle oh no no no come on that's the time to praise and say lord i thank you for the disaster you just saved me from if it could work out on you before he would have done it after is that true praise lord i thank you you checked your body you went back to the hospital and checked and they said it's still there is growing lord i thank you that i had the limbs to go to the hospital i give you praise because i know you are not done with me who is god speaking to tonight avoid complaining is the secret of great people it looks like a little teaching but let me tell you there is there is so much in it you never hear from my mouth never never i have a covenant with destiny never it will not be from my mouth that i will say god is unfaithful god forbid but if i die today the last word that will come out of my mouth is you are faithful yes if you want to wait until things are right then there is nothing spiritual about what you are doing because even unbelievers say thank you when things are right and you praise him you give him praise i have counseled a lot of people this year and trust me people have come with burdens and a lot of things and sometimes when they come you know some people just break down and begin to cry and when they tell me all of the things that look like mountains physically speaking i'm not supposed to have anything to tell them because they are truly mountains but i tell them there's one thing i know if you will maintain your praise and thank god for what he has done hallelujah you used to be a sickler now god has healed you he turned your genotype from essence to a s or today and then you have not gotten admission you've forgotten the fact that you used to cry and almost die out of crisis and now you're just yelling at the gates of heaven lord what is this is it that mission you cannot give what did i do have you had people say that what did i do no what have you not done praise praise praise praise praise in a few minutes we're going to stand up and in five minutes listen to me the miracles that will erupt i don't want you to just praise god foolishly i don't just want you to sing foolishly i don't just want you to worship foolishly do it as as a key in the spirit lord this is inconveniencing me as i'm sinking the pain is still there but i trust you that it will go lord the bills are still there waiting for me my school fees has not been paid but i want to give him praise hallelujah now we're going to do this very prophetically if you came with your prayer request or if you came with i know many of you didn't write prayer requests but write a prayer request you're going to drop it on the floor and praise god the midst of it some things must bend tonight write it help one another with papers please write it no matter what the mountain is brothers and sisters i do not post who have lived long in my life i'm a young man put in ministry at an age but in my little life i have stood face to face with giants mountains that only god would have helped me surmount write your prayer request and we are going to give god all the praise write it many of you are about to see the mighty one arise for you paris for you it's a few days to the end of 2014 but it's not too late it's not too late joseph slept as a primate as a as as a slave he woke up the next morning as a
