king's in the hand of the lord you can turn it so incline and turn their hearts toward what is right and what is good and what is good for the country what is good for your church and what is right before you we pray lord raise up champions of right give them voice and give them strength and give them support protect us from things that would hurt us and damage us get glory to yourself we pray that your gospel your good news would go forth from our country in force and power without hindrance without restriction and would go around the world [Music] hallelujah we ask it in jesus name we present ourselves before you we say lord this is this is your these are your places we are your peoples you are our god get glory to yourself in us we seek your word and your will to know your ways and your plan reveal it to us and we purpose to follow fully in jesus name amen thank you lord is it a good thing to worship the lord to sing praises to his name oh most high hallelujah praise god one else spend a little time with the lord being thankful it's a great way to start the day and we've already had a wonderful opportunity to do it this morning so you can do it right now if you didn't too get your bible out get ready it's going to be a great service you just had this much of it and it's already really good so the word is going to come forth and change lives from this place today amen you're in the right spot so get comfortable wanted to let everybody first of all can you put branson up on the screen too so we can see our whole family i wanted to just yes aren't you thankful for family well we had as many of you know a wonderful family day yesterday and i just wanted to tell you how pleased we were with the turnout we had so many people show up and you know we got a lot of things done around the building and that makes you feel good but the most important thing was i met a lot of people that i haven't ever met yesterday and i know susan and the staff dave and all of them we were all here and we just had a wonderful morning together in the lord so just appreciate you coming out and being a part of that and and we need to do it again sometime that's right that wasn't enough but it was fun if you were here you had fun because i'm telling you you were just amongst i remember brother dave saying friday night if you can't love these people you have a problem we loved each other and we love these people so we don't have any problems around here because we walk in love all the time glory to god i want to also we have one other announcement for sarasota now this is for sarasota clean team this coming wednesday at nine o'clock that's a new time we used to start at eight this week we're starting at nine and we're going to have a really special morning we're gonna have some fellowship and i told you friday night that one of the code words for food is fellowship just a little bitty part of it but it is part of it we're going to have some fun on wednesday morning now we're going to clean and do our regular things but maybe maybe you used to come and you haven't been able to come in a little while maybe you just got out of the habit i don't know or maybe you've never served anywhere and you it's a great opportunity to come in on wednesdays for clean team and then there's grounds teams during the week but come in and be a part we're going to have some exciting announcements and some new things some changes that have been going on and just good stuff so come and join us if you haven't been in a while and that's 9 a.m on wednesday instead of uh later so we'll see you wednesday 9 a.m and birthdays and anniversaries we have any of those this week we didn't have very many friday nights so everybody waited until sunday to come yes you guys happy birthday happy birthday how can you guys our youth have gotten big our little kids that were little kids when this church started are now youth and working in church had a birthday over there happy birthday who's up here 41. that's not their birthday that's their anniversary they're together looking they even made their signs match their robes come on y'all take it up a notch let's well on your way to 50s i see another one back there 52 yeah happy anniversary that's so good to see everybody we had them spread see they were scattered all over this morning so we get to see more did get it i think maybe i didn't get it we won't pat ourselves on the back this morning it was a blessing whatever it was well we know there was over 50. so what what are we gonna do stand up we do something special around here it's it's mrs moore's start so we're going to finish today but over 50 we kick the devil because he doesn't have our marriages so just give him a big old kick amen and she does that in heels y'all she does that big old heels you can be seated how about some good testimonies we appreciate you guys sending them in we said a couple weeks ago how much we enjoy it and there was a big sack this week so get them written down if you haven't it's never too late to give the lord thanks somebody called in last week they're like well it's been about six months that's okay give him thanks give him thanks it helps others so this one came in i did some international ones here first from uganda that's great it's just i wanted to give this opportunity to testify about how god has touched and changed my life through the ministry i got introduced to your teachings by a dear friend while in university in 2019 i was exhilarated when i saw the abundance of free teachings available on your website it was so exciting for me to have decades of wisdom available to me i was really humbled by this and took a lot of time to download as many as i could probably in the hundreds he says and began to listen to them my first i think was prosperity proven as i was in dire financial condition at the time ever since then i've been using my doing my best to listen to as much as i can and could say i've now probably listened to hundreds of hours taking notes on so many of them i must say the word supply has been like a second bible school to me i later on learned about faith school and i've begun to listen to it as well and plan on continuing my life is being transformed and i'm grateful for all this material that has been made available for no charge i also want to thank god who has now enabled me to become a partner with the ministry isn't that good from uganda this one came from sweden it just says thank you so much for faith school we discovered it about three weeks ago on youtube and me my husband and 16 year old daughter are now watching an episode every day we have also already learned so much in faith school and are more grateful to have so grateful to have found it praise god and greetings from sweden well greetings to sweden we hope you're watching vancouver canada this one was a great healing testimony she said that she called in and they said send it in so she's being obedient in 2020 i received jesus as my lord and savior at that time i was struggling which is an understatement with a brutal eating disorder i had struggled for over 20 years at that time maybe even longer actually but it grew progressively worse to where i had dropped to 98 pounds i was addicted to pills and other medications i drank and was also addicted to sleeping pills i was in very rough shape it's so weird to even type this stuff now because it's as if i'm writing about a stranger someone i do not even know and i guess it really is my old man is dead after all in any event i was it was probably sometime in april of 2020 i was watching the believer's voice of victory i don't even know how or why and brother kenneth and miss gloria were discussing healing brother kenneth copeland had a printout in his hand with several pages and he was flipping through and and all of going through all of the scriptures as in the bible and that cute on healing and what god has said to say about healing i was amazed i thought is this really true this stuff is in the bible i grew up in church but i had never heard these things miss gloria copeland just kept saying healing belongs to you take it take it again i was blown away i thought really take it can i do that i decided i need to hear what brother kenneth copeland was reading from so i started to crawl up really close to my tv to see what he was reading and before i could make it to my tv he said this is from keith moore's book and i was glad i was it was like i needed to google this keith moore immediately and hallelujah i did and found the book and found that it was free to download i and download it i did i wrote out the entire 101 healing scriptures and and she said see this picture she had a picture attached from her notebook where she'd written them out so so each day i would get up and sit on a sit in my bathroom and talk to myself in the mirror and say what did god say to you that's a good advice right there and then i would say the scriptures i would go through them i am the lord that heals you and so on and so on well on wednesday evening may 13 2020 at about 7 30 p.m pacific you know when the lord does something for you you remember exactly when it was i was sweeping my floors and all of a sudden i heard two clicks and i felt them in my body almost like a vibration i could hear them and i stopped sweeping and look up and said so this is it god it's done glory to god and since that glorious night god has fixed everything in my life i am free i am whole it's like god did a complete overhaul glory to god he didn't just heal my body he healed my entire life it is amazing and remember i was in rough very very rough shape how wonderful is our god he doesn't do the bare minimum he always does more than enough i hope this long testimony will help even one person who's been struggling and just know that god will set you free he is the healer jesus is my healer please give my love and appreciation to the moors and to the ministry for making this available for free i am now a partner with the ministry isn't that good don't you like to hear about god healing people and delivering people well stand up let's give thanks to him for all that he's done we started out with thanks we're going to finish up with thanks father we give you glory this morning for all of these good reports father that are pouring in father we thank you for each and every person father that you are blessing and touching and changing their lives and we thank you that we get to be a part of it in all over the world father we thank you for the good things that you are doing and we rejoice with these who are thankful and who are rejoicing with you today and we give you all the glory for it in jesus name amen hallelujah boy those are great testimonies wow who can do that except the lord only he and he'll do it for anybody that'll believe him anybody that'll do what she did he'll do it for for her for for those as well said out loud what he's done for others he's doing for me and greater things than these [Applause] shall we see all the glory all the glory [Applause] all the glory be to our great god thank you thank you thank you father thank you thank you so much thank you thank you hallelujah you can be seated what a changed life from being in a you know drug induced stupor in the grips of addiction and lost and all kind of problems in the body to completely free hallelujah [Music] glory to god glory to god well the that alone would be worth everything we've ever put into the word supply wouldn't it that alone but there are many that have been helped um it's offering time again and would you notice with me in romans 14 i i want to continue on something that we looked at uh last week romans 14 1 if you'd turn there we saw that jesus had said uh in the gospel accounts that if you have an offering and you bring it to the altar and realize that you have an issue with your brother to put your gift down don't offer it yet first and go make things right with your brother then come and give your offering should we observe that should we does it matter how we treat each other in life does that affect our you know the bible talks about husbands and wives that if they don't in first peter 3 if they don't treat each other right their prayers would be hindered well we don't want our prayers hindered we don't want our offerings and gifts not received and so it matters how we treat people in romans 14 1 he gets into some things that really are the answers to a lot of questions that are prominent right now he said him that's weak in the faith receive ye but not to doubtful disputations another translation says not to quarrel over opinions he goes on to say verse 2 for one believes that he may eat all things another who is weak eats herbs so this eating is about putting stuff in your body right and one group believed it was okay to do it and another group believed it wasn't okay to do it sound familiar let not him that eats despise him that doesn't eat should we observe the scripture so if you think it's okay to put it in your body don't despise the ones that don't want to put it in their body and let not him that eats not judge him that eats if you don't want to eat it or put it in your body then don't judge somebody that does amen said it out loud no judging no judging no despising no disgraces no arguing no argument see he said not to doubtful disputations that's arguing and quarreling y'all are quiet he said who are you that judges another man's servant to his own master he stands or falls yea he shall be holding up for god is able to make him stand don't you like that say it out loud god is able to make all of us eaters eaters and non-eaters stand [Laughter] one man esteems one day above another now here he gets into another thing he was talking about what you eat what you don't eat now he's talking about some people think this day is special and others don't one one man esteems one day above another another esteems every day alike verse five let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind i want you to read that out loud with me let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind and the whis translation says let each one in his own mind be fully assured fully persuaded in what in your own mind let each one about what about whether you think this is a special day or you don't whether you think it's okay to use this or you don't everybody needs to be settled for themselves in their own heart and mind is this bible yes new testament yes romans is in the new testament y'all with me or not and no quarreling and doubtful disputations about it true or not so where we get into uh this these are the answers to what's going on right now about vaccines and masks and do i do it do i not do it is it okay is it not a lot of folks have mixed their tried to mix their faith with their politics and it's not working and a lot of folks are so confused they don't know where their faith starts and stops and their politics starts and stops and they are adamant about things they believe and they're treating it like it's scripture and it's got nothing to do with scripture how many are with me or not and they thought well this this is a proven fact according to who do you know are you a virologist scientist have you even read a book on it no come on now with me then what do you know you heard something that somebody said about something that they heard from somebody said that they heard that's not like believing the bible at all amen right somebody says well it's it's all so confusing then what what do i do we just read it you got to get settled in your own heart come on are y'all with me the what you have confidence everybody say confidence but you have confidence you think about doing it do i have more confidence doing it than not doing it and what you got to get rid of is fear because fear makes you susceptible fear makes you vulnerable and every situation is different i know a number of years ago when we first started flying international mike and i came to realize that they were going to require us to say take certain vaccinations to fly into certain countries we had to have documentation as pilots and there was no way around it so you either do it or you don't fly in there as a pilot and you had to have you had to have a card you had to have uh you know signed by the physician and the dates and everything that it was i mean it was stuff for yellow fever and and other things you know things that you didn't necessarily want somebody uh injecting into you huh y'all are quiet so i i felt like i was supposed to go we were supposed to travel to these places and we were supposed to do it ourself we were supposed to have that control so what do we do do i do it do i not do it what do i do tell me the answer from the scripture that we just read huh let every person be fully persuaded is that right in their own mind i needed to i needed to get settled about what do i do in this situation am i going to let this keep me from going and ministering to people in other countries am i going to let this prevent me from having control of my travel so i got it settled that i'd be okay to take it and so i confessed over myself even if i eat any deadly thing it won't hurt me and so i i went to the doctor and i got to vaccinations and i got to paperwork and it's still among my in my logbook stuff now i can go where i want to and it's not a problem but if you say well i i don't feel good about taking it well you got to be persuaded in your own mind y'all with me or not and nobody should try to force you to override your conscience but don't try to push your faith off on somebody else either come on can you see that everybody should be persuaded in their own mind the scripture says now go with me if you would to john and look at this this is something that the the further i go the more i see uh how important this is as part of growing up um in john 8 if you'd notice this when they brought that woman that was taken in the act of adultery and threw her down in front of jesus such a embarrassing situation and tried to you know get tried to get jesus in trouble either way that he answered and do we stone her do we not stone her and they're pressuring him and pushing him and he stooped down and it just started writing on the ground and then he he stood up and said well whoever is without sin among you let him throw the first stone and i want you to notice um verse 7 john 8 7 he said he that's without sin among you let him first cast a stone and again he stooped down the road on the ground and they which heard it being convicted by their own conscience went out one by one beginning at the eldest even to the last i want you to notice jesus said what the father gave him to say and he didn't say any more come on are y'all listening and he let the spirit of god deal with them between them and their conscience we must stop trying to be other people's conscience we must stop trying to talk people into things or talk people out of things we must stop trying to push uh and and make people believe this or do this or that are y'all with me you get you get away from the holy spirit we need to have full confidence in the holy spirit's ability to deal with people right and we don't say a bunch of things that we don't need to say and we watch about saying our opinion about things and we watch about just saying our personal conviction that the lord dealt with us about and we certainly watch about repeating and posting and retweeting stuff that we ain't got a clue whether it's true or not just because millions of people believe it does not make it true [Applause] you're with me or not and we if the lord gives us something to say on the subject we say it and we stop come on y'all with me what did jesus he stood up he said he that's without sin among you let him cast the first stone and that was it he stooped back down and left them between them and their conscience can you see this go to john 16 john 16 7. is it okay to take a couple of minutes with this there are real answers here i said there are real answers here beware of mixing your faith in your politics you mess up both of them [Laughter] somebody didn't like that well you'll get over it that there are some big problems going on right now in the body of christ they're embracing things and they're adamant about things and they're pushy and belligerent and it's got nothing to do with the bible and it's not it's got the gospel tell me what the gospel is there's a message being pushed and people think it is righteous and they're indignant about it but if they examine it it's not good news the message is everything's being destroyed everything's being ruined and if you don't do something radical to stop it then you're to blame is that good news that's bad news and it's condemnation y'all with me or not it's bad news and it's condemnation and it's it's not the gospel of jesus christ i'm pausing are we okay yes no notice the do not intrude into the work of the holy spirit it's his job to convince not ours his job in john 16 7 he said nevertheless i tell you the truth it's expedient for you that i go away if i don't go away the comforter won't come but if i depart i'll send him to you keep going when he has come he will reprove now that's king james word it's the exact same word in the same king james bible that's translated convince he will convince the world of sin not you not me him and he'll convince the world of righteousness well righteousness is what's right what's right and what's sin he'll convince the world of judgment keep reading he'll convince the world of sin because they don't believe on me jesus said keep going he'll convince the world of righteousness because i go to my father and you see me no more when you saw jesus you saw right everything he said everything he did is right keep going he'll convince the world of judgment because the prince of this world is judged you can tell something's wrong when it keeps you agitated all the time when it keeps you upset when it keeps you mad when it keeps you scared i said scared the spirit of god is not putting things into you to fill you full of fear that's the enemy and he's very crafty about how he does it he does it in the name of righteousness in the name of civic duty in the name of all kind of things but the end result's the same you wind up mad all the time and upset all the time and scared all the time this is not god i said this is not god we're supposed to operate in joy genuine joy and peace and we're supposed to make our decisions based on confidence hallelujah you think about this if i do it do what kind of sense do i have that i'll be in good shape everything will turn out well if i don't do it uh do i have confidence that i'll be in in good shape it'll turn out well you go let every man be persuaded in his own mind how can that be because we're all at different places in our faith we're all at different places and you might be strong in faith over here but your faith might be weak over here well the lord knows where you are he's going to lead you in line today with where your faith is today now it can be in a different place in a few weeks or months or a year or two but he's going to lead you according to where you are today and let peace rule in your heart and let peace govern your decisions hallelujah and be fully persuaded in your own heart and mind and then don't try to be conscious police and talk somebody else into pushing your belief off on them if you have anything to say say it and then hush is that right no pushing no yelling no screaming no arguing no fussing where strife is there's the presence of evil and every evil work we don't want to be a part of that we are the peace makers i said peacemakers somebody say i'm a peacemaker and i walk in love and i walk in joy hallelujah makes you happy makes you smile makes you so much nicer to be around [Applause] right you have more friends this way i said you'll have more friends i know uh the lord gave me this phrase some years ago the lord is allowing us to minister to different groups in the body of christ i went and ministered for a group and i came back and there were some folks that knew that said why did you go over there why did you go to them well i endeavor to go anywhere that the lord directs us to go i know not long after that i was invited to a place i was the first speaker outside their denomination in the past 40-something years and it was interesting it was interesting but it was great too we had some great things why i can have more than one friend how about you i can have friends that are republicans i can have friends that are democrats i can have friends that are independents i can have friends that are baptists catholic yes presbyterian church of god in christ come on y'all listen huh [Applause] lutheran i can have more than one friend how about you the bible tells us we're supposed to be easy to be entreated gentle peaceable easy to talk to easy to get along not so opinionated amen hallelujah say it out loud if you if you want to father god reveal to me things i shouldn't yield to things i shouldn't be a part of things that are not peace that don't represent you and establish me in the truth and what is right and what is good and what is love and what is joy and what is peace get glory to yourself in me hallelujah thank you lord thank you lord thank you lord praise god and i'll take my own advice that's all i have to say about that [Laughter] but there are scriptures there right i mean i didn't say those things he said those things let me give you the good reports of things that are going on uh the ghost supply uh this week is well supplied over one to one um we uh we got a report on the danny gokey bus they did uh lock down a situation on a brand new bus i think i told you that they can they actually are picking out every part of the interior they get to custom build the entire interior so it's brand new and they get to pick it well everybody that sowed into you should believe for a harvest of like kind is that right top-notch best new custom huh somebody said i'm reaping i'm reaping i'm reaping harvest well that helps them go and do what they need to go this helps us go and do what we need to do and it is well supplied then the word supply this week uh not quite one to one but it's because we had uh extra expenses this week well what previous week was well over one to one it balances out almost to the point one to one over the course of 12 months it's amazing how it works but it is well supplied both of them if you want to get involved in the offering this morning by cash or credit card raise your hand uh take an envelope for cash giving or or credit card giving and if you make it out of check make it out to flc that means faith life church if you want something to go to the go supply designated go supply if you want it to word supply designate it word supply if you don't designate that's good too it goes to all the uh operations of the churches and the things that we're sowing into the a substantial portion of the general offerings goes outside our walls it goes to other ministries other things so you're a part of that when it's general non-designated and you know you need to have seed in the ground just to have your general expenses covered all the time right how many like uh your electric bill paid all the time is that right plenty of cleaning supplies and paper products and i mean that's not very exciting and glamorous but you need them you want them you need to have them and every seed produces after its own kind and we're so thankful that we're not only are all our needs met but we are in the more blessed category of being able to give to other people other ministries other churches help them substantially substantially and that's ongoing and we don't tell you everything that happens because it just you know it's it's not necessary it takes a little take a lot of time but you hear representative things and it is ongoing that we are sowing to other people and you know that's the way you want to be in your daily life on the job it's good to keep some cash on you i said some cash on you keep some cash on you so that you uh i call it a peel-off roll peel off whether it's 20s or 50s or hundreds is even better that you know you're in a situation you can peel off uh one two three whatever and give them to somebody and buy them a tank of gas pay for their meal buy them a new dress or suit or whatever it is that they they're needing or believing for you want to be a generous soul a giver not just at church time but all the time and that's one of the reasons that you want to have extra extra on you so that you got extra to sew you'll find um it's it's not common you'll find man we see it all the time people just tear up and go really really just just a nice tip and you can tell they don't get it all the time it's not happening all the time and you're not to do some crazy big thing just do something generous don't do the bare minimum amen you understand what i'm saying don't do the bare minimum all the time just be generous and be a giver and you'll find not only will it bless the folks that you're doing it for but it's going to come back on you good measure press down shake it together run it over when you're ready stand on your feet and minister to the lord hold up your offering hold up your hand say it out loud father god you are my source unlimited unfailing because of you i don't lack i don't want for any good thing thank you for blessing us and our children and making us a big blessing to a lot of people to your glory lord i speak over the people as they bring these things and i say be increased be enlarged be empowered and be strong to be a strong light and witness for him in jesus name amen what's going on the faith life family we're getting somebody say i'm getting i'm i'm getting my buildings my lands my houses my vehicles my equipments i'm getting everything i need what else is going on all of my debts are being reduced and eliminated the lord's bringing me into the best shape of my life i claim extra out of my heavenly accounts out of this world system i claim extra and i'm paying everything off quickly i'm paying things off quickly [Applause] if you got if you owe own something a car house whatever it is when you look at it say i call it paid for i call you paid for it i call you paid for call it paid off paid for paid in full i'm paying it off you don't have to have a clue how you're saying it by faith say it again i'm paying everything off everything off i call it paid off i call it paid for i the light of truth that makes free you are the light and now that you're in us we are the light of the world we say open our eyes for more light and guide us into all the truth that you would have us to see now we ask it in jesus name amen thank you lord you can be seated [Applause] thanks be to god who gives us the victory who always causes us to triumph [Applause] turn with me please if you would to luke gospel account of luke in the fourth chapter got some really significant things to get into this morning i took a little extra time on the offering do you dock me off that does that shorten me up here well let's just believe god just like we just prayed to get what we should i mean life-changing things here i i've saw some things last night that i had not seen before on on passages i've taught repeatedly of course you know that's not surprising but uh it's wonderful i said it's wonderful when you get answers when you see things we've been on a series now for a few weeks that we're calling the word of power and we we talked about faith in the power but and this is a follow-on to that and we see that jesus had manifestations of power not just reasoning not just empty talk but he had power manifesting and showing up and people were healed people were delivered even the dead were raised i mean uh storms were calmed uh how many spoke to the tropical depression huh let me see a hand okay that's not quite enough any time you see bad weather that's supposed to be supposedly headed your way or anywhere in your vicinity speak against it that's right yo with me you know come command it to i use the word dissipate sometimes and i'm interested in meteorology because that kind of goes hand in hand with flying and it's interesting to me that uh if a bunch of dry air flows into these things it'll kill them yeah let's kill them or the jet stream up in the uh uh flight you know altitudes as we call them if it's strong it'll cut the head off of it and won't let it develop so there's a number of ways to kill a storm or you could just say what jesus said peace be still work good for him right worked well for him and it sums it all up but speak against it and don't just say well you know whatever it will be it will be not speak against it and it's not just tropical storms or hurricanes it's if you live in the middle of the country if you live in kansas speak against a tornado right speak against a if it's an area that you look speak against an earthquake speak against whatever would cause the flood or that kind of thing a lot of things happen simply because folks don't resist it they don't speak against it and things like this especially days or weeks out uh just a change of course of a degree or two we'll put it in the middle of the ocean instead of on somebody's property right amen so uh church do you we will you acknowledge you have a responsibility we have a responsibility when we hear about these things speak against it don't don't beg god about it talk to it talk to the storm command it right to subside dissipate whatever move uh peace be still speak to it what comes up in your heart is that okay in luke 4 it said verse 32 they were astonished at jesus doctrine for his word was with power jesus had manifestations of power in his life and ministry and we see that the main way that these power manifestations occurred is when he spoke it's directly connected to his words him speaking he would say something and the moment he said it power would manifest this is not a coincidence these are spiritual laws are our words important they are far more important than most people have thought far more significant far more life directing than most church people acknowledge or believe you can tell most people don't believe that life and death is in the power of the tongue by the way they talk you can tell they don't if they believed it they wouldn't talk the way they talk and all of us have made a lot of mistakes in our talking so there's no judging or finger-pointing but are we going to learn are we going to grow up are we going to develop the answer is okay yeah go with me if you would to the book of matthew and the 12th chapter matthew 12. we we spent some time on this a week or so ago but there's another part of it i want us to emphasize and in matthew 12 33 jesus the master said either make the tree good and his fruit good or else make the tree corrupt and his fruit corrupt for the tree is known by his fruit so he's talking about producing fruit you could also say results producing fruit are results o generation of vipers how can you being evil speak good things now in the very next verse he tells you how you're going to bring forth the good or bad fruit you're going to speak it forth you speak it forth and it it is produced it comes forth as you speak it forth o generation of vipers how can you being evil speak good things for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks the key to getting the right thing in your mouth is to watch and hear and listen to the right thing and it gets in your heart and when it does when your heart gets full of it it'll come out of you without you even thinking it or planning it it's whatever you're full of that's what comes out when you're not thinking or being watched or when pressure is on it's kind of like a a sponge if you squeeze it whatever's in it comes out and life will will try to squeeze you and you want to have the right thing in you when you get squeezed he said verse 35 a good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things and and how do how does that how do you do that by speaking words and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things how by speaking words out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks and verse 36 but i say to you that every idle word that men shall speak they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment now a lot of folks have just wanted to stay away from that verse they don't like it it bothers them but that's not what you that's not how you learn it's by avoiding things and we found out that this word idol it means non-working non-working uh or um uh empty or or vain or you could say it like this non-assigned not assigned are we supposed to assign our words to do a job that is completely different thinking than most people operate in but it's how god himself operates god never rants and somebody say thank god because everything he says comes to pass everything he says comes to pass and he uses his words to create to change he uses his words to do something to affect something that's what we're supposed to do with our words now we're very young spiritually we're in babyhood and childhood stages of development most the church is and so folks are not realizing when you're a baby you don't know much you're not very aware of what's going on but if you grow up and develop that's a big part of growing up is that you realize i have a responsibility for every word that comes out of my mouth why would we be accountable even for idle non-working words because the enemy can use words that are not assigned he can use idle words to hurt and damage and do things that you didn't intend to do but you threw them out there without thinking how many want to make sure the enemy is not able to use your words and you do want the holy spirit to be able to use your words and you'll find that the enemy through his spirits and cohorts are continually trying to get things in your mouth that they can act on and the spirit of god is endeavoring to guide you into the truth and get words in your mouth that he can act on that the angels of god can act on and it's our choice that's one of the big things about our will it's our choice the words we speak we can choose any words and speak them and put what whatever spiritual content we want to put in them this is a god-like ability the animals don't have this this is a god-like ability this is how god himself functions he spoke and it was done hallelujah now uh go with me if you would well excuse me i didn't read this next verse and this was the one i was trying to get to excuse me verse 36 and 37 every idle word that men shall speak they'll give an account thereof in the day of judgment 4 by your words you will be justified and by your words you'll be condemned now that word condemned is also translated judged same word same king james bible so you can say it like this judged or justified by your words somebody say by your words by whose words not god's words not the devil's words not other people's words huh see you'll find people getting so upset about what other people say about them but other people's words are not direct in your life only yours and so in many cases it doesn't mean a thing what they said about you it'll have no power in your life unless you led it it doesn't even have to take a minute of your time unless you let it upset you who are they and what does it mean in the big scheme of things that they said something or tweeted something or texted something or posted something what does it mean there's a lot of junk going on and nobody will know about it or care day after tomorrow must last a century from now much less a thousand years from now their words are not directing you their words are not limiting you their words are not justifying you are judging you but your words are what you are saying about you is directing and limiting and changing and blessing or cursing your life and this is a bible fact this is something a principle god has created and it functions all the time whether you think about it or whether you don't now y'all are quiet you can make it work for you right can you you can make it work for you but you got to make an effort you got to make an effort say it out loud by your words you will be justified by your words you'll be judged by your words look with me in the book of exodus and let's take a few moments here uh the new testament tells us to do all things without murmurings or disputings now that's philippians 2 14. put it on the screen if you would you're going to exodus 14. but philippians 2 14 says do all things without murmurings and disputings you'll find that the bible is very strong about not complaining why do do how many things without complaining how many things so when do you get to complain [Music] [Laughter] do how many things so what can you do and complain and it's okay do do how many things do all things without murmurings and disputings now the word murmur you've got greek words and hebrew words both that are translated murmur and it actually is what is an omnipoetic word that is the word sounds the same as the action in the original language and what that murmur murmur it's a low uh complaining expression we'd call it grumbling which is also a bible word grumbling it reminds me did you ever see uh um what was it hillbilly bears that's an old one cartoon and paul paul of the hillbilly bears he was always well you couldn't even understand him but he's always alright now also reminds me of mutley anybody remember mutley in the cartoons well i lost a bunch of people right there they're like but there'll be young guys looking on youtube this afternoon going listen yeah you'll be impressed too it's interesting entertainment uh but just that grumble i don't know you know why they have to do that far out it made no sense to me and i [Laughter] i just three-fourths of the population huh and yet the bible commands us not to do it why why just because it's a nice good moral idea not to do it now see that's where the church has gone wrong they think well yeah yeah i know i shouldn't and i know we all do more than we should and y'all pray for me why it wouldn't do any good you have no intention of changing ever there's so much wasted motion in religious things oh yeah it matters it matters go with me to first corinthians 10 actually let's do it this way first corinthians 10 i i hadn't forgot about exodus but first corinthians 10 he talks about what verse 1 he talks about what happened with the israelites god's first covenant people that he delivered out of egyptian bondage notice he said brethren i would not have you ignorant how that all our fathers were under the cloud all passed through the sea all were baptized unto moses in the cloud and in the sea and did all eat the same spiritual meat or food now what he's showing is how all of that is typical of our spiritual experience how we were delivered out of bondage and darkness like they were delivered out of egyptian bondage and he talks about baptism he talks about being fed spiritual food see all of that is a very vivid type and picture of what happens to you as a believer they they drank of the spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was christ the water coming out of the rock is a picture of jesus the water of life coming out of him can you say hallelujah verse 5 with many of them god was not well pleased for they were overthrown in the wilderness these things were our examples to the intent we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted neither be idolaters as were some of them as is written the people set down to eat and drink and rose up to play neither let us commit fornication as some of them committed and fell in one day three and twenty thousand neither let us tempt christ as some of them also tempted and were destroyed of serpents neither murmur whoa whoa whoa this is some strong company is that right idolatry fornication and complaining in the same group no don't well don't why why not murmur don't murmur as some of them murmured and were destroyed of the destroyer complaining makes you vulnerable to destruction amen it's why we're commanded not to do it it's not just that it's a bad thing or a bad idea complaining opens the door to the destroyer and if he gets access he's going to do it he's going to destroy if he can get to you he's going to hurt you and complaining allows him to get to you now let's just stop do we believe that or not yes most of the church doesn't believe that do you believe that or not how could you tell you believed that you would quit is that right if you really believed that if i start complaining it'll let the devil get to me you'd quit i said you'd quit you'd stop so most people don't believe this most people most church go in people the vast majority of church going people don't believe this but i believe it how about you you going to join me i make a decision to believe the word of god and if he said don't murmur so you don't get destroyed then it must be serious and do all things without murmuring so we're going to make this a murmur free church [Applause] we will be unique come on you with me or not [Applause] complaining free murmur free grumble free church you need to make your home a grumble-free zone right your workstation a grumble-free complaint-free place you agree go to exodus then let's look at what happened and why he says this in exodus the 14th chapter from the very beginning when he brought them out of um i mean as soon as they left egypt they had traveled just a little ways and they got to the red sea and pharaoh and his armies bearing down on from behind exodus 14 10 when pharaoh drew near the children of israel lifted up their eyes behold the egyptians marched after them they were so afraid sore afraid and the children of israel cried out to the lord and they said to moses because there were no graves in egypt have you taken us away to die in the wilderness wherefore have you dealt with us to carry us forth out of egypt is this not the word we did tell you in egypt saying let us alone that we may serve the egyptians really remain slaves so that your children can be slaves and your grandchildren can be property really it had been better for us to serve the egyptians then that we should die in the wilderness yeah but who said it was god's plan for you to die in the wilderness he's already told you what the plan is promised land god didn't say anything about dying in the wilderness he said promised land that's right but if god says promised land and you say die in the wilderness which one will you get [Applause] yeah but god said promised land if god says promised land is my will and you say we're going to die in the desert which one will you get by your words not his well this is something yes it is by your words you'll either be justified or you'll be judged he has determined it to be this way somebody said well god is god he can do anything he wants to yeah and he has decided that we should have a free will and he has decreed that it be done according to what we chose to say and do so that's how it's going to be the way it's going to be is not the way he wants it for you it's going to be the way you have chosen to believe and say even when it's completely contrary to his will it's going to be according to what you said that you believed the reason i read this we're going to see it again is because the enemy was able to get this in their mouth and on their mind that we're all going to die out here and you will find every time something came up that's first thing came out of their mouth we're all going to die out here now have you read the scriptures have you heard the story what happened they all died out there right did it have anything to do with what they said yes it was entirely based on what they said yes i'm quoting bible it was entirely based on what they said it was never the will of god for them to wander around for 40 years in the desert and die out there you know prematurely and hard and wrong that was never the perfect will of god but he couldn't get them to quit complaining they wouldn't do it on their own and he's not going to force them he's not going to make them override their will so this word murmur here then this is this is the revelation i was talking about in the hebrew we mentioned to you in the greek murmur and actually in the hebrew two it's that omnipoetic word the word sounds like the action it describes murmuring is that low tone grumble complaint but but in the hebrew it's different and i'd scratch my head thinking how does that mean that and the lord helped me to see it murmur in the hebrew means to stop see you're doing the same thing i was doing it means to stop to stay to stay permanently murmuring means to stop and stay and stay permanently it it it also means to be obstinate it's kind of like a mule sitting down and stopping and won't move and if you don't move what happens you stay right where you are look with me in exodus uh we we saw that part exodus the 16th chapter well that's exodus uh aubry you go to 16 and i'll read one on the way exodus 15 as soon as they uh uh got through the red sea they just journeyed three days they couldn't find water and verse 24 exodus 15 24 the people murmured against moses saying what shall we drink now in matthew 6 and other places jesus said don't say that don't say what are we going to eat don't say what are we going to wear did the lord say that or not why see that's tied into complaining i don't know what in the world we're going to do huh man these prices are getting so high now see that just sounds like normal talk did i lose somebody somebody said what's wrong with that i'm trying to tell you what's wrong with it are you listening we're reading scriptures i just don't know what in the world we're going to do man it's you know look at what these folks are doing look at what they're saying look at this you know this law look at this bill look at this thing look at this other and if you listen to the news you know what it is 24 7 complaining judging is that right it's why the enemy is pushing them so hard to just judge and complain and judge and complain why because he wants you to be judged so he can get to you he wants you to open the door by complaining so he can get access to destroy without restriction so he wants everybody judging and complaining judging and murmuring non-stop we're not ignorant of satan's devices anymore we're being enlightened is that right should we get a whole we can't control the whole world we can't control everybody around us but we should be a witness and a light of a different way to talk a different way to respond not judging other people not condemning other people why so that you don't get judged and not complaining so that you give access to the destroyer they said what are we going to drink and the scripture called that murmuring today people just call it asking a question i'm just asking a question is that some crime well do you want to be destroyed [Applause] help yourself i'll take some protection myself i i'll take some keeping power i'll i'll take some blessings i'll take shutting the door in the devil's face so he can't get in i'll take not being judged but it's not up to god it's up to me by my words say it out loud by my words i will be justified or judged blessed yes or cursed by my words that's what the bible says matthew 12 and james three is what i just got through quoting referring to so what shall we drink is a complaint they weren't just asking a question for information's sake they're mad and put out with him you've led us out here in the wilderness what in the world we're going to drink and what was what's the follow-on thought we're all going to die out here we're all going to die out here is that funny no not unless you want to die out here exodus 16 are you there exodus 16 1. they took their journey from elam and all the congregation of the children of israel came into the wilderness of sin which between elam and sinai verse 2 and the whole congregation of the children of israel this stuff is contagious it spread through the whole these are hundreds of thousands of people the whole bunch murmured against moses and aaron in the wilderness and the children of israel said to them would to god we had died by the hand of the lord in the land of egypt by the hand of the lord we wish god would have killed us in egypt before we left stupidity when we sat by the flesh pots oh now we're going to talk about the good old days the good old days back when we were somebody's property yeah back when we got beat because we didn't turn in the right quota oh yeah fun days we were by the flesh pots we ate bread to the full we you brought us out in the wilderness to kill us why am i reading this this is the murmuring that'll get you destroyed this is the complaining that'll destroy your life you brought us out here to kill us to kill this whole assembly with hunger so he they had said what are we going to drink now they say what are we going to eat well you know the lord gave them manna verse 6 and 7 he said the lord here's your murmurings against the lord and what are we that you murmur against us verse eight it'll be the lord will give you in the evening flesh to eat and in the morning bread to the full for the lord hears your murmurings which you murmur against him and what are we your murmurings are not against us but against against the lord now see they thought they were griping and complaining against moses and aaron but the lord was taking it personally right because he's the one that sent moses in there they're saying what he told them to say and they don't realize it but their words are like malachi says their words the lord considers to be stout against him they are speaking directly against the lord himself but they were looking at moses and aaron when they were talking so uh there's a lot there in that chapter i won't get to it exodus 17. i want you to see a recurring theme here exodus 17 3 the people thirsted there for water they ran short of water again and so what the people do they murmured against moses tell me what that would sound like we're about to read part of it but you could just hear grumbling throughout the you know what he thinks he's doing dragging us all over this desert nothing to eat nothing to drink we're all gonna die out here we're all gonna die out here now we're laughing but is it funny that's how you die out there and it won't be the desert that killed you and it won't be moses and aaron that killed you and it won't be the lord that killed you it'd be your own words oh church do we believe this yes most people won't acknowledge it they won't even consider it but he has left it in our hands and in our mouth they said why is it that you brought us up out of egypt to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst and moses said what shall i do to this people they'd be almost ready to stone me moses was concerned that they're just about to kill him what are agitated no joy no peace no direction no respect for god no respect for his leaders now skip down if you would to numbers 14 and this is when it all came to a head numbers 14. there were actually i only read what about four of these episodes we're about to read a fifth one but there were ten sequential episodes of them doing this time every time there was a shortage or a need or some danger presented they immediately started grumbling and complaining and blaming and they did it one two three four five ten times in a row and on the tenth time the lord said that's it what do you mean that's it i'm about to read he sent them on this tenth one is when they actually sent the spies into the promised land twelve one from each tribe and when they came back they gave a report ten of the spies gave a bad report two of the spies gave a good report you know we sing the song sometimes whose report will you believe we will believe the report of the lord well there's a lot to that and the ten said it's a terrible land it's a land that'll eat you up and spit you out there are giants there there are walled cities they got iron chariots i mean these guys are like eight nine ten feet tall i'm telling you if you wanna die that's where you go do you see how much they have death in their mouth it's it's dead we're gonna we're gonna starve to death we're gonna die of thirst we're gonna die of hunger we're gonna die from giants we're gonna die we're gonna die die die die you'll notice if you if you listen to secular music or or or secular poetry it's full of death because the inspiration is from that you know i'm so lonesome i could live huh huh so blue think i'm going to rejoice no no die die feel like i'm dying think i'm going to die i'm going to die if i don't have this or someone gets to lose my mind don't sing those songs i said don't sing those songs don't don't put them in your ears in your heart and mine so verse one the congregation lifted up their voice and cried and the people wept that night when they heard the report and all the children of israel this is numbers 14 2 they murmured against moses and against aaron and the whole congregation said to them would god we had died in the land of egypt or would god we died in the wilderness we i wish i had died over there i wish i died here well is it that much difference die in one place or the other and where why has the lord brought us into this land to fall by the sword that our wives and our children should be at pray wouldn't it be better for us to return to egypt and they said one to other let's make a captain and let's return to egypt let's go back so they are firing which they never hired moses and aaron and they are getting new leadership to take them back into bondage back into bondage and verse 26 i won't go through all of it but you know uh joshua and caleb tried to sway them and tried to convince them and said look the lord's with us their defense is gone from them we can take them it's going to be a piece of bread a piece of cake we can do this thing you saw what god did back in egypt he's got us this far he'll get us there and they wouldn't they were ready to stone them they were ready to kill joshua and caleb for saying that unbelief hates to hear faith talk it irritates it makes it mad because it's showing up what you should be doing yourself in your heart you know what they're saying is right but you just want to flesh out and cry and feel sorry for yourself grumble i don't want to see one nobody will help me and every time i try to do it i always do asking a question that's all i was doing was asking a question what are we going to no it's more than asking a question you have resentment bitterness in your heart you don't trust god this is full out rebellion moses and aaron you're fired we're electing new leadership and we're going back to egypt well that was too much verse 26 the lord spoke to moses and aaron saying how long shall i bear with this evil congregation which what what was the thing that particularly irritated the lord did the lord hear their murmuring the next phrase i have heard all that grumbling in the camp don't know what in the world are we going to eat how in the world are we going to make it we're all going to die out here the lord was fed up with it i have heard the murmurings of the children of israel which they murmur against me he took it personally even though they think they're murmuring against moses and aaron keep going say unto them as truly as i live says the lord as you have spoken in my ears so will i do to you or y'all with me verse 29 your carcasses shall fall in the wilderness and all that were numbered of you according to your whole number from 20 years old and upward which have murmured against me doubtless you will not come into the land concerning which i swore to make you dwell therein except don't you know these boys were happy to hear this except because caleb and joshua were thinking i'm in that age group i'm in that age group nobody's making it in and then he said except they thought huh caleb oh yeah and and joshua buddy now let's just stop right here why they had a different report they said something else because they believed something else they chose something else they had a different spirit the scripture said not a spirit of grumbling and complaining a spirit of faith i said a spirit of faith the spirit of faith is not a complainer if you're grumbling that's not faith if you're faith there's no grumbling faith doesn't complain faith doesn't grumble faith rejoices is glad about something doubtless you'll not come into the land which i swear to make you dwell therein say except caleb the son of jeffer and joshua the son of none keep going your little ones that you said would be a prey you said i'm going to bring them in and they'll know the land which you have despised but as for you your carcasses they shall fall in the wilderness where have we heard this before we all going to die where have we heard it before we are going to die in the wilderness and what did the lord say verse verse 28 as you have spoken in my ears does that sound like by your words by your words and and i saw this we were talking about that definition the word murmur in the hebrew it means to stay or to stop or to stay permanently they didn't go into the promised land they stopped in the wilderness and they stayed in there why because that's what they said and their complaining stopped their forward progress and their complaining caused them to stay in the middle of what they're complaining about can you see that or not yes don't complain unless you want to stay in it unless you want to stay in the thing you're complaining about stop it i then i saw it it freezes your progress it wasn't god's plan for them to perish out in the wilderness it wasn't his plan for them to wander around and circle around for 40 years you know why it was 40 years because he said so in the same chapter he said a year for each day that you know the the spies went and checked out the land for 40 days again it was them they had 40 days to see how right god was how good that land was they brought back the giant cluster of grapes you remember that it was beautiful it was green it was flourishing it was well watered it was everything that the lord said it had a few giants on it huh it had a few giants on it god already knew that had a few wild cities god already knew that but when they kept complaining about it and they kept saying we all going to die out here in the wilderness there came a point where god said okay you're going to have what you say you won't say what i want you to say what did he want him to say what caleb and joshua were saying they were his mouthpieces on that thing what did he want him to say we're going in we're going in god is with us we can do this thing we can take this thing right the enemy there what does it matter how big they are god's bigger than everybody and their defense is departed from them it's our land we are possessing what he gave us [Applause] if they said that they would not have wandered for 40 years in the wilderness they would not they would have gone straight in and they would have won battle after battle after battle under the leadership of joshua they proved it could be done god did it through them he did it to the next generation so it's not true oh come on friends do you see this yes the giants did not keep them out right the walled cities did not keep them out if it if it really was what kept them out it would have kept joshua and the other people out uh-uh god's bigger than all that the desert is not what killed those people it was their mouth can you see this or not it was their mouth yes is it true death and life is in the power of the tongue and they that love whatever they love whatever you say you'll eat the fruit of that did they eat the fruit of what they said it was bad fruit it was bad but the why why did the bible tell us time after time after time after time it gives you the exact quote i mean the bible didn't waste destruction do you want how much do you want to get stuck in your problem to where you never come out i want you to stand up on your feet oh somebody say praise the lord thank you for victory thank reason to expect it to get better you're giving god nothing to work with and if the only words you're giving him is we're all going to die out here then that's the only words he's got then he says okay what you said what you said according to your word but you could give him something else to work with hallelujah you could say we're coming up we're coming out like what we just got to say we're coming into the full blessings hallelujah faith does what why why would you be rejoicing if you got some problems in your life because you don't believe this is the end of the story you believe god's doing something great in your life you got something to rejoice about i got a i got a better future to look forward to right rejoices and does what does what that's what you do instead of complain you give thanks you don't give thanks for the devil you don't give thanks for attacks you don't give thanks for evil things you don't give thanks for disease you don't give thanks for poverty but you give thanks for god bringing you out you give thanks for provision and healing and direction and deliverance yes and you do it all the time and is glad faith rejoices gives thanks and is glad somebody said out loud my complaining days are behind me my gripen days my grumbling days are over hallelujah praise god praise god if you prayed the prayer and confess jesus for the first time today don't rush out
