on the hope of heavenly grace, they may be defended always
by Your protection, through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. PARISHIONERS: Amen. A reading from
The Book of the Prophet Isaiah. "In the year
that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting
on a throne, high and lofty, and the hem of His robe
filled the temple. Seraphs were
in attendance above Him. Each had six wings. And one called
to another and said, 'Holy, holy,
holy is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth
is full of His glory.' The pivots on the thresholds shook at the voices
of those who called, and the house
filled with smoke. And I said, 'Woe is me! I am lost, for I am
a man of unclean lips, and I live among
a people of unclean lips. Yet, my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!' Then, one of the seraphs
flew to me, holding a live coal that had
been taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. The seraph touched
my mouth with it and said, 'Now that
this has touched your lips, your guilt has departed and your sin is blotted out.' Then I heard
the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send,
and who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I.
Send me!'" The word of the Lord. PARISHIONERS:

as of first importance, what I in turn had received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance
with the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised
on the third day in accordance
with the scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then, He appeared
to more than 500 of the brothers
and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all,
as to one untimely born, He appeared also to me. Whether then it was I or they, so we proclaim and so you have
come to believe." The word of the Lord. PARISHIONERS: Thanks be to God. (Organ playing) # Hallelujah # # Hallelujah... # # Come, follow me # # Says the Lord # # And I will make you # # Fishers of people # # Hallelujah # # Hallelujah... # The Lord be with you. PARISHIONERS:
And with your spirit. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke. PARISHIONERS:
Glory to you, O Lord. "While Jesus was standing
beside the lake of Gennesaret, and the crowd
was pressing in on Him to hear the word of God, He saw two boats there
at the shore of the lake. The fishermen
had gone out of them and were washing their nets. Jesus got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out
a little way from the shore. Then He sat down and taught
the crowds from the boat. When He had finished speaking,
He said to Simon, 'Put out into the deep water and let down
your nets for a catch.' Simon answered, 'Master, we have worked all night long
but have caught nothing. Yet, if you say so,
I will let down the nets.' When they had done this,
they caught so many fish that their nets
were beginning to break. So they signalled
their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came
and filled both boats, so that they began to sink. But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, 'Go away from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!' For Simon Peter and all
who were with him were amazed at the catch of fish
that they had taken. And so also, were James
and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Then Jesus said to Simon, 'Do not be afraid. From now on
you will be catching people.' When they had brought
their boats to shore, they left everything and followed Jesus." The gospel of the Lord. PARISHIONERS: Praise to You,
Lord Jesus Christ. Do you wonder
if you can hear from God for yourself? Could He be saying
something to you today? What is He telling you
about your personal family or your professional life? Is something
causing interference and drowning out His voice? Today, brothers and sisters,
the readings remind us that God's call to a person and the positive response to that call leads the person
to discipleship. God has His own criteria
for selecting people to be prophets and ministers. Presenting the special calls, or vocations,
of Isaiah, Paul, and Peter
as life-changing events, the readings challenge us to examine
our own personal calls and responses to conversion and discipleship. Isaiah in the first reading, and Peter
in today's gospel reading, express their unworthiness
to be in the presence of God's great holiness. And Peter and Isaiah,
both at once, receive their divine calls. Today's second reading
describes the call of another great apostle, Paul, who judges himself
to be unworthy of the name, or the call, as he was a former persecutor of the Christians. It was by giving
these three men a strong conviction
of their unworthiness, and of their need for total
dependence on His grace, that God prepared them
for their greater missions. Every Christian,
by virtue of baptism, has a special call from God to conduct a specific mission. Just as
each one of us is unique, so is our mission. We have both individual
and collective mission. Each person has a unique
imprint to make in the world that no one else can. In the words of
Saint Francis de Sales, "We all have vocation. We believe that God
has placed us in this life to fill a special need that no one else
can accomplish." The God who called
Isaiah, Paul, and Peter, in today's readings, continues to call people,
even in our time. The problem with some of us
could be that this age is that we have become
so absorbed with the self, and the external realities
of the modern world, maybe like social media
and information bombardment, that we have lost that
interior communion with God, who speaks to our heart,
calling us daily. When we relate closely with God
in the solitude and silence of our interior life, then we can hear clearly and discern
what it calls us to do. What are God's criteria
for calling people to serve and how does one qualify? God does not look
at the external features of a person or is he concerned about
the qualification, or skill. Without favouritism
or prejudice, God extends His call
equally to everyone. His criteria seem to be His trust
that you can do it, because, He provides
whatever is needed to accomplish the mission. But do we respond
positively to God's call? This call may come
in different forms. It could be
to help a person in need, to forgive a sibling, to volunteer for some
social or religious service, or to pray for others. Today, we are called
to listen to His voice and to respond
to the call given to us. Amen. Let us profess
our faith in the Trinity. I believe in God... ALL: ... the Father Almighty,
creator of Heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ,
His Only Son, our Lord, who was conceived
by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,
died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day,
He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is
seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From there, He will come to
judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen. We pray for all of those
in the Daily TV Mass community who have asked to be included
in our Prayer Intentions Book especially those
who are suffering in mind, body, and spirit, that they may find relief
and healing through Christ. We pray to the Lord. PARISHIONERS:
Lord, hear our prayer. We make these prayers
through Christ our Lord. PARISHIONERS: Amen. Blessed are You, Lord,
God of all creation. For through Your goodness, we have received
the bread we offer you. Fruit of the earth
and work of human hands, it will become, for us,
the bread of life. ALL: Blessed be God forever. (Whispering) Blessed are You, Lord,
God of all creation. For through Your goodness, we have received
the wine we offer You. Fruit of the vine,
and work of human hands, it will become
our spiritual drink. ALL: Blessed be God forever. (Whispering) Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable
to God, our Heavenly Father. ALL: May the Lord accept the sacrifice
at your hands for the praise and glory
of His name, for our good, and the good
of all His Holy Church. O Lord, our God, who once established
these created things to sustain us in our frailty, grant, we pray,
that they may become for us now the sacrament of eternal life,
through Christ our Lord. PARISHIONERS: Amen. The Lord be with you. PARISHIONERS:
And with your spirit. Lift up your hearts. PARISHIONERS:
We lift them up to the Lord. Let us give thanks
to the Lord, our God. PARISHIONERS:
It is right and just. It is truly right and just,
our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere
to give You thanks, Lord, Holy Father,
almighty and eternal God, through Christ, our Lord. For through His paschal mystery, He accomplished the marvelous
deed by which He has freed us from the yoke of sin and death, summoning us to the glory of
being now called a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people for Your own possession to proclaim everywhere
Your mighty works. For You have
called us out of darkness into Your own wonderful light. And so, with angels
and archangels, with thrones and dominions, and with all the hosts
and powers of Heaven, we sing the hymn of Your glory,
as without end, we acclaim. (Organ music playing) # Holy, holy # # Holy Lord, God of hosts # # Heaven and Earth # # Are full of Your glory # # Hosanna # # In the highest # # Blessed is He who comes # # In the name of the Lord # # Hosanna # # In the highest # You are, indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy,
therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down Your Spirit
upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become, for us, the body and blood
of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time He was betrayed and entered willingly
into His passion, He took bread, and giving
You thanks, He broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, "Take this,
all of you, and eat of it. For this is my body, which will be given up for you." (Chimes ringing) In a similar way
when the supper was ended, He took the chalice,
and once more giving thanks, He gave it to
His disciples saying, "Take this,
all of you, and drink from it. For this is
the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new
and eternal covenant, which will be
poured out for you and for many,
for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me." (Chimes ringing) # The mystery of faith # (Organ playing) # We proclaim Your death # # O Lord # # And profess
Your resurrection # # Until # # You come # # Again # Therefore,
as we celebrate the memorial of His death
and resurrection, we offer You, Lord,
the bread of life, and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks
that You have held us worthy to be in Your presence
and minister to You. Humbly we pray, that partaking
of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered
into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, Your Church
spread throughout the world and bring her
to the fullness of charity, together with Francis our Pope, Thomas our bishop,
and all the clergy. Remember
our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep
in the hope of the resurrection, and all who have
died in Your mercy. Welcome them
into the light of Your face. Have mercy on us all, we pray, that, with the Blessed
Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
with the blessed apostles, and all the saints who have
pleased You throughout the ages, we may merit to be
coheirs to eternal life, and may praise and glorify You through Your Son,
our Lord, Jesus Christ. # Through Him
and with Him # # And in Him # # O God, Almighty Father # # In the unity
of the Holy Spirit # # All glory
and honour is Yours # # Forever # # And ever # # Amen # At the Saviour's command, and
formed by the divine teaching, we dare to say... ALL: Our Father,
who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come; thy will be done on Earth
as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those
who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord,
we pray, from every evil. Graciously
grant peace in our days, that, by the help of Your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
as we await the blessed hope, and the coming of
our Saviour, Jesus Christ. ALL: For the Kingdom, the power, and the glory are Yours,
now and forever. Lord Jesus Christ,
who said to Your apostles, "Peace I leave you.
My peace I give you." Look not on our sins, but
on the faith of Your Church, and graciously
grant her peace and unity in accordance with Your will, who live and reign
forever and ever. PARISHIONERS: Amen. The peace of the Lord
be with you always. PARISHIONERS:
And with your spirit. Let us offer one another
the sign of peace. Peace be with you. (Organ playing) # Lamb of God # # You take away # # The sins of the world # # Have mercy # # On us # # Lamb of God # # You take away # # The sins of the world # # Have mercy # # On us # # Lamb of God # # You take away # # The sins of the world # # Grant us # # Peace # Behold the Lamb of God. Behold Him who takes away
the sins of the world. Blessed are those called
to the supper of the Lamb. ALL: Lord, I am not worthy that
you should enter under my roof, but only say the word,
and my soul shall be healed. (Whispering) (Chimes ringing) ANNOUNCER:
Please join me now in this act
of spiritual communion. Let us pray. O God, who have willed that we
be partakers in the one bread and the one chalice,
grant us, we pray, so to live
that made one in Christ, we may joyfully bear fruit
for the salvation of the world, through Christ, our Lord. PARISHIONERS: Amen. The Lord be with you. PARISHIONERS:
And with your spirit. May Almighty God bless you. The Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. PARISHIONERS: Amen. The Mass has ended. Let us go in the love of Christ. ALL: Thanks be to God. ANNOUNCER:
