StormEx Air Cargo Mission!!! - Stormworks

[Music] hello everyone my name is mr anjosi and welcome to my channel in this video we're going to be checking out this awesome ae10f now this is going to be the storm x livery and we've got a nice little mission that we have set up for ourselves we're going to be loading some air iso containers into the storm x plane and we're going to be transporting it all the way over to the sawyer islands have an awesome little mission that we're going to be checking out today we're going to be having a look at this beautiful storm x cargo plane uh along with it we're going to be using a push back tug we've got some air iso containers and we also have one of the loaders so we're going to get all this cog in here and i think this is this was really fun to actually go and think of and actually come up with because of course we have version one which is all about actually getting cargo and transporting around so i'd love to see someone actually make some proper missions with this air iso containers so i'd love to see some actual proper missions here in game and i'm sure people can do it with the scripts so let's actually get going we've got a nice little flight today we're going to be flying over from the actual airport here in stormworks over to soy island we're going to be heading off down to the actual harrison air base just down there and dropping off the asi containers so the first things first is this plane is actually completely designed for cargo as it is obviously storm x you can see we can go and open this up there's no seats or anything inside it's just open and empty for cargo now we've got a pushback tug which is ready to go uh we've got some asi containers that are already here and we've also got the little loader so we're going to jump up on the load and we're going to get that position to start with and then we'll go and grab the containers now i think i should just be able to go and drive this and it should be able to get going yep um and we can also bring it up here there we go uh so we'll bring that up to about the level of where we need it onto the plane and we'll get that connected and then we'll move the aso containers up and get that loaded into the plane i'm quite excited to see how exactly he's got that working apparently it's all compatible he has actually designed this jet with the aso containers in mind uh which is really nice see and also he's gone you can see in the front of the plane it's got a little electrical net connector uh which is good because then you can use the push back trolley so i'm interested to see how that's all going to work and see if there's any bugs uh anything happens with that but the plane looks really cool start off with it looks like it's got a ton of detail inside it i'm just gonna see uh we need to go up a little bit so let's just go up to that height and then we can start making our turn here let's see how this is going to handle hoping it's not going to run out of battery or have any issues i'm going to try and not hit the plane too i don't think they'll be too happy with me if i hit the plane so you can see we're just coming up so i'm going to start slowing down and i think we need to go up ever so slightly there we go cool so we've just got that connected so that looks like it's good some reason there we go so an engine just went and started so we're good here looks like we're more or less aligned guessing it's almost like as if those grippers are not connected for some reason um disconnect the aircraft now we should be connected okay so let's go and get some aso and we're going to put it in here and see how it's going to work this looks really cool so we're going to go and bring this in line and i think we'll bring it in line on that side and then we should be able to just start actually pushing everything ooh this thing is sliding all over the place going a little bit too quick okay let's go and get that in line we're gonna need to bring the trolley down actually i think so connector there is a connector over there so let's just stop there for now okay that's fine and then we're gonna have to get onto this and lower this down so let's jump on to that let's jump on here and let's get the down okay so that's going to go straight down cool and then we can go and get these connected now i think what i'm going to do is i'm actually just going to push them i think it's probably going to be the easiest thing to do actually let's try and drive them there so we're going to make another little quick u-turn here and let's see if we can drive them up close and see if we can get them to lock into place otherwise we'll just we'll just disconnect them from this tractor and we'll just actually have to push them in but this is looking like quite a lot of fun so far so let's go and see if we can do this okay so start slowing down and i think maybe just a little bit to the right almost okay let's keep on going straight forwards and stop there okay so let's stop there let's see if i can just kind of push this into place almost and we probably just need to go back ever so slightly that should almost be in its place yeah you can see there we go so there it's locked but that almost looks like it's on the right area but i know we'll try and push it in let's see if we can push that in so we're going to come here and we're going to tie down connectors release container breaks open close and load unload mode so i think we can get container brakes off and we should be able to in theory go and push this let's see let's put an unload load mode can we push this now there we go so we should be able to push that on to and there we go it's gone onto its rail system can we do two at a time i think we can okay that's going to be quite cool so let's go and release cart let's go and jump into the tractor and see if we can just move forward a bit okay so that is still connected and if i cannot just do it from here so it's not i feel like it's not releasing see if i can push it yeah for me that's not releasing that's constantly off we've got disconnect we've got rotate you see you can it like that oh that wasn't okay well it's disconnected so i don't mind let's see if we can go and get the other piece connected okay we'll stop there and we'll just push it in for the rest of the way and see if we can just push it in there okay so it almost looks like this isn't actually on properly so that's interesting to see but it's going to get that connected there we go that looks like it's now got and yep so that's connected we can now go and let's see container breaks unload this load push that forwards a little bit there we go and then let's go on the back of this and see if we can start actually pushing it onto there we go onto the rail system yep that's connected so we now got two of those ready to go let's see if we can just release this i still don't know why it's not releasing it's i probably did something wrong to be fair uh let's see if we can maybe just do the same trick we did earlier we just clicked on the rotate button yep there we go and that's going to release it let's get the push back or let's get this tractor out the way i'm trying not hit the plane here with this light it's close um let's go and just move it out of the way let's go and climb up and see if we can load this container onto it so i'm just worried about these sliding ever so slightly oh stop can you stop please hello stop there thank you container breaks uh there we go brakes on now which is good i probably need a little more forward so i'm gonna turn that off and see if i can just push it and yeah let's push it there and it should actually get connected to those oh these are the tie down connectors i think we need on so possibly yep there we go so you can see that's got a connector that's perfect uh we can jump up onto here or try to at least let's go up we're gonna go into here and then i think we just do the so i think we need to bring it up first oops okay so it's up now and then we can do the load that should then automatically push it as you guys can see so it's not pushing it into the plane so i'm just gonna actually get out of here look at that awesome i love some lights in here there's any lights cockpits lavatory don't see any light switch anywhere that's fine okay so that's going to connect it i hope it doesn't get connected there no it's not okay it should be getting to this point here come on keep pushing once it comes in we can then just slide it all the way back and then get its brakes on okay so it's almost coming we're just going to pull it a bit get it moving a bit there and then as soon as it goes unlocks on these tracks you can go and push it okay so let's get i think we can get the load unload mode okay and then can we push it along its tracks should be able to clip onto its tracks very shortly let's see so unload mode simple containers brakes let's take that off and let's just see should go and slide there we go i was right okay so we're going to get it all the way to the back there and let's get the tie down connectors on try to at least okay it doesn't look like that okay yeah it's locked on something so logged on to the furthest one i guess okay let's get the next one in we'll try to now this one has got its tie-down connectors connected still so we need to get that disconnected so i think can we go down that side and let's get this off let's push it in well that was much quicker and then can we slide it that way now we need to get it into the other mode so let's get it into unload offload mode push it back get it on this rail come on get on your rail there we go and then we can push it all the way back and we can get its tie line connectors on now we need that on tied on connectors and let's just push it back ever so slightly or try to at least add will lock in later on that's fine okay so we need to get this disconnected so yeah you just heard it disconnect now get our brakes off let's do disconnect aircraft there we go let's get let's get this up a little bit let's go into reverse and then we'll start bringing this down oh that was very quick i'm gonna start turning the loader this is so cool okay the next thing i want to do is get this ready so can we just push this i wonder if we can just push this into place or do we need to use the oh yeah we can look there we go so we're just going to get this all pushed into place here making our life much easier later on once we get the pushback tug ready let's just push this to the left a little bit there we go and you can see the electric connectors is gonna get connected just over there hopefully it will get connected by itself we push it back enough i also need to check to see if the parking brakes are on in the um actual plane that could be an interesting thing to see so let's go and close this door we don't have any stair trolley for ourselves today so we're going to be doing our own things to get up so let's do handle and then let's jump into here see our cargo is all locked in place let's get into the cockpit and let's get parking brakes off yeah because that we will need that to actually move back uh let's get the push back truck and let's jump into this side let's get this out of the way actually and let's go into the side get the drivers door closed let's get the key button on we're going to make a quick u-turn and break off yeah that's fine should be able to just move it down in this direction we're going to make a little bit of a u-turn come back and then we're going to do the push-back for the actual aircraft in a few seconds here i'm going to line it up so i face the aircraft with the tractor i think that's probably going to be the best approach here and let's go to the front do i have any shortcut controls no we should i think in theory just get connected very easily is there a fast gear i don't want fast key i want slow gear okay can we get this connected there we go okay so we are connected now we should be able to push back oops and let's see if we can angle the aircraft face that way try and go as slow as i possibly can here okay where is the reverse option in this i need to go the other direction there we go cool and then we should be able to start pushing it back very interesting it gets caught like that oops okay that just moved the whole plane and let's get in reverse we might just have to reverse this i'm just going to disconnect this from the aircraft cool and that should be disconnected now yeah and now we can go and move this out the way cool as i said i would have liked to have seen some way to really kind of stop it from moving so far left and so far right because it kind of just buckles itself which is quite interesting let's get this push back charlie out the way we'll get that on we'll get parking brakes on great let's jump out of here that's more enough out the way and now we can actually check out this plane and see what this plane's got so it looks really cool it's quite a short plane actually funny enough i'm just looking at it here cool let's go and jump back up on there so we can use the handle there to bring ourselves into the plane perfect uh let's go and close that door cargo is secure we have a little toilet if we need it now we can leave that open we've got pilot seat and co-party let's go into the pilots uh what controls do we have so we have engine one on off so let's get the engines on uh throttle we'll need to get on probably need some electric first so speed brakes flaps parking brake parking brake i'm gonna get back on uh we need got apu so switch ap power its battery you know what's where is fire suppression plg de-ice heaters let's get hydraulic pumps batteries on yep there we go everything's starting let's get the engine throttles up i think i hope i'll get that done for now um fuel pumps probably need those let's see we don't need to move any fuel we need logo light anti-collision we need uh anti-collision position taxi landing no alternating landing lights no wing inspection lights no okay happy days we are going to be flying at let's see what else we can fly today let's do about a thousand yeah that's fine without a big of a flight to do uh all told alarms yep that's fine bearing uh what bearing are we at who knows to be honest um so i think we're bearing 71 so i don't know what bearing will we'll figure it out as we get out of the airport um cycle no we don't need any of that ptt channel up no oh there was cargo lights there we could have got that on too i think everything else is pretty much uh spot on and ready to go here we still and he's got quite a bit of a turn that we need to do here apu is kicking itself up there which is fine but we need to keep on turning until we get lined up with this runway i still have the brakes on i don't know i'm not too sure don't think so okay this runway is so short we're more or less lined up there i'm probably going to just go and decrease our plg now okay that should be fine let's just make sure we are lining up here oh we're still very off on this runway this is going to be like one of the shortest takeoffs ever but it's that landing gear anyway let's go and we'll increase the plg let's increase our throttle here let's see if we can do this i'm hoping for the best to be honest i probably need to get some some flaps on flaps on angle see if we can take off come on come on oh [Music] just just touched it but that's fine we managed to get out of there whoa this thing is very sensitive very very since like no stabilization whatsoever on this plane jeez do you have some stabilization please something wow it is very unstable there we go roll stabilizer control dampener okay um let's get our track landing gears on we can get our flaps up so let's go and get our track flaps there we go flaps are up now we need to go to the right or bearing we want 24 so really do bearing 160 let's get our altitude hold on too but over there and let's get our bearing hold on so we should be turning right that is a very steep climb oh we're leveled off now um what are we at 150 so we actually need to increase our bearing a bits there we go so we have 20 k's to go on that bearing okay probably a little bit less actually let's go about 200. yeah that's fine we're doing a good speed uh so we're what 200 knots and we're about yeah i can't even tell yeah so 1002 altitude 200 and something knots bearing of 203 engine seems like they're fun we could probably get our throttle down ever so slightly uh we could use the gps auto pilot to be fair but i'm not going to get that done um apu probably don't need the ap anymore it seems that we are airborne and we are going quite nicely nice little pain so far really cool okay so we've got a few k's to go i'll meet you guys back we're going a little bit closer to the island uh and then we'll start obviously making our approach into the airport i also need to figure out what kind of bearing we are so we are currently here so we're almost actually yeah we're almost coming in line with that what i'm going to do i'm just going to make a waypoint for ourselves to about there i think that should be about fine and that's the way point where we're gonna start making our approach actually you know what we can start dropping down now um let's go and put that as a waypoint let's take our bearing hold off let's put our autopilot on so we're going to go to that let's get our altitude start bringing our altitude down about 600. geez i think this thing literally drops altitude so quickly and gains it i would like to see some kind of dampness with that um let's start getting off the off speeds yeah let's start getting our speed down i think so let's get our speed brakes on to be fair and actually we probably don't need those just yet okay so we're coming up to this first point here let's start dropping our altitude a little more so let's see if we can see if we can drop our throttle and that should in theory go and drop our altitude at the same time in theory just thinking we'll probably get some flaps on too so let's go extend flaps get flaps on full probably going to get our altitude is let's get our alt hold on let's bring our i'll shoot down it climbs so much they're probably going to get our landing gear down too it's never coming in and then once we go past that waypoint we're going to set another waypoint for probably about there actually no i'm probably going to do another waypoint for about there so just a little bit out cool we'll come over to this waypoint which should be just below us now look at that i'll shoot down a bit more too what's this store okay so let's get throttle up and let's get this new waypoint in okay so that new waypoint is going to be hidden and what we're going to do is we're then going to put a new waypoint after that or let's say probably about there so we're going to go to our new waypoint we're going to start dropping our altitude also so i think we can go down to about 200 jeez why i really put a limiter there on that but that's fine i guess we're doing okay vertical speed is way too much i think that's just my opinion okay so you can see the airport just there in the distance now um we're gonna go and get that new waypoint into the system okay so it's almost lined up now as our speed of 200 so we're probably a little bit fast coming in so we can start dropping that in brakes we're going to use brakes in a few seconds we're also going to increase our speed brakes we're going to press one and two as soon as we get down on the ground here you can see we are coming in quite nicely we're probably going to drop our let's see what's our altitude out so let's get rid of our altitude sets we're at about 190 so we can probably drop the altitude down so we can start doing it let's start doing our speed also at the same time we should be coming in quite nice for that i'm going to get rid of this waypoint so remove wave points that way i can actually see where the runway is okay we're going to get our throttle up a bit so we are coming down way too fast now there we go try and bring the nose down a bit we're almost perfect with that so far speed i'm just watching speed we are increasing our speed i don't want to increase too much speed here you can see the runway just over there it's awesome let's go and decrease our throttle a bit so as i touch down one and two is what i'm hitting looks like i'm good so far oh this might be a good one okay hopefully get the autopilot off there we go thank you and let's bring it down let's bring our throttle down down down nose up oh there we go we are down let's get the nose down one and two brakes and also our speed brakes look at that noise down brakes on come on stop man that looks awesome doing that landing there that looks really cool probably get our brakes off now and we can start getting our let's do our apu on let's get our actual power landing gear on and start moving forwards that was a lot of fun that was a real lot of fun let's go and just decrease our our brakes here and get our flex up that was good that's a good plane i like it i the only thing as i said the only thing i'm on the on the fence about is the landing gear with the powered wheels i would have liked the only thing is it doesn't it's so hard to turn the plane i think but that's just my opinion as always i always have my opinion into these things guys um but this is a beautiful plane a lot of fun that landing was probably really good i think um in terms of how i landed that i think it was a lot of fun um and doing this little missions i think also cool i'd love to see people get some scripting missions up for this this ai so stuff love to see it where you have missions to transport aso from one airport to the other all over the world the stormwater really would like to see that kind of stuff but yeah you guys let me know what you think of this little uh flight mission little cargo mission with the storm x plane and the ai so stuff let me know
