I wonder if it is possible to attack Cybrex durning Contingency. They are helping now but doesn't chance the the fact that there is so much blood on their hands. Justice comes first even durning a crisis.

contingency the act of preparing for an eventuality contingency in this particular scenario is one of the reworked endgame crisis events for Solaris this video is riddled with spoilers if you do not want to be spoiled on any of the things that can happen with the contingency you have been warned [Music] [Music] as with all the other crisis events the contingency has a initializer event and this generally involves having a lot of synthetic pops within your empire and in the Galaxy at large similar to echoes in the void which hails the perth orion scourge the contingency starts with a signal of its own a go signal where your sensors have registered a faint tachyon signal being transmitted across the galaxy there doesn't seem to be anything strange about this signal aside from the fact that it's there events will start popping up sins will disappear behave erratically if you're a machine Empire your population will malfunction with pops lost in strange events after three years of the initial detection of the ghost signal the summons event will occur it is implied that sins from all over the galaxy are trying to find out the source of the ghost signal and it will not be long until they find it this all culminates into the arrival where sins have managed to reach the destination the ghost signal and fire it up to full strength sadly if you're a machine Empire you will have the urge to self annihilate however you'll manage to get across this but it will not be long until you're contacted by the source of the ghost signal the contingency is here none of the ghost signal is a blasting and it's full strength all your pops and ships will be affected by it machine pops will have a 40% reduction on mineral energy research output unity output and government ethics attraction any ships that have sapient combat computers of any kind on them will have a reduction in fire rate of 50% and less tracking by 5 points you are highly encouraged to refit your ships with some new combat computers sadly if you are a machine Empire Europe to have to deal with the ghost signal for now you will be capable of starting research on blocking the ghost signal you will need 10,000 engineering points to get this done so you better start working hard because in the meantime your since or at least infiltrators will start messing around with your empire scowling spaceports assassinating your leaders and whatnot even in some cases they will blow up your energy plants if you are hive minded or psionic you will be easily able to identify these interlopers as they do not fit within your worldview and/or your systems once the project is complete all synthetic pops in your empire will be retrofitted in the ghost signal will no longer be an effect on your population of course this also means that all the malleus will be gone no longer will you be a fit be affected by that massive 40% malice and you can reactivate your sapient combat computers on your ships over a period of weeks for sterilization hubs will make themselves known dotting themselves throughout the galaxy spawning massive amounts of ship based on the level of endgame crisis that you have punched in at the start of the game they could be a relatively weak starting at ATK fleet power all the way up to a million per planet the choice is yours let's hope that you didn't choose poorly at this point it will be a little fight to the death as all four planets will continue to spew out new fleets to sterilize your planets they will destroy them down to the last pop but in the meantime you can also contact the D contingency itself you can ask it why it is attacking us apparently you are on your way to become a class 30 singularity which could destabilize the fabric of the entire universe if you are a robotic pop you can ask a force query who created you you will now find out a new day the offspring of a species that is long dead and they have self-terminated why they are transmitting the ghost signal using synthetics to manually activate itself and what happened to the sins that went to the to him to begin with they are now shock troops in his army in its army and that is pretty much the extent of the storyline behind the contingency now the real question is how do you counter the contingency ships overall they are very much energy based weapons with a lot of plasma and a lot of lasers as well as in the at least in the battleship designs focused are committers ignoring Li focused are committers the energy weapons themselves are very much armor focused so if you are going to try to counteract the contingency make sure that you use a lot of shields if you even can try to get the side shields from the shroud that's always a really big bonus in addition when it comes to shooting at them you want to use weapons that are very heavy when it comes to penetrating shields their armor is about 55% which is definitely over comical shields in general is pretty decent but their armor is very limited so when it comes to shields try to penetrate them quickly and then put a lot of additional firepower on them this should allow you to crack their ships relatively quickly within twelve months of the contingency taking over at least 20% of the galaxy you will get a notification of an energy spike very similar in character to that of the contingency but definitely the distinct another ancient faction has returned to the Galactic battlefield the cyber acts have returned not a cyber X themselves are a precursor race and there is a special event chain for them however in this particular case they have been sitting back not not meddling in galactic affairs for hundreds of thousands of years but now the contingency is threatening every single organ species in the galaxy and due to their pass atrocities they feel compelled to throw themselves into the fray the subjects pawns with fleets ranging straight into the hundreds of thousands when it comes to their fleet power of course they have their signature Ringworld in this particular case cyber x beta if you've managed to unlock Cyrax alpha this will make a nice little bonus later down the line in addition every once in a while if you're not doing too well the cyber X will donate one of their fleets to you in your ongoing fight versus the contingency now the race is on to destroy the four sterilization hubs and find the core of the contingency all four planets have up to 20,000 points and ground fortification you will need to gnaw through all of these before you can destroy the sterilization hubs and it does not even include the giant defense stations that are sitting around these places on top of that they will also be defended by the various fleets that float around good luck with this one you're going to need one hell of a load of firepower once you have managed to destroy the fortification of a planet a massive explosion will take place and the planet will be turned into a broken one as a massive fusion weapon will be detonated at its core in addition you will be able to get a living and metal technology out of this as the entire surface of the planet well at least what remains of it is littered with living metal itself you will be able to use that as a mining resource to add a regeneration to your ships armor once all four planets have been destroyed you will be greeted with the heart of contingency event where a new planet a fifth one the core has been found in systems CX and nine eight eight one and it must be neutralized the final system contains five defensive structures ranging up to 700,000 fleet power and one final planet to destroy send all your forces towards this place and annihilated remaining contingency forces it is going to be one hell of a fight but in the end you will be victorious over the contingency sadly with the cyber X having lived out their usefulness they decides to leave the galaxy because they are no longer interested in the diplomatic matters of the minor species this was the contingency and how the chain works overall this is an incredibly hard event chain very challenging a lot of very strong fleet power but overall considering the storyline and the way the event itself is being presented it is by far I'm the strongest of the three core crisis events excellent job from the team to make it this
