me on that downswing aren't we that's what we're trying to avoid what a lot of golfers are trying to get to is this position my elbow in almost side of my body and my middle of my elbow my arm pointing out in this direction to be able to release and put the power down here that is what we're looking to achieve now look at this in the player cam angle these are the angles which we want our arm to be in at last parallel and into impact right now think about this logically if you start with your elbow sort of out here in this action getting here requires a lot of work right requires a lot of manipulation and what I find in the golf swing if you're looking for power you're looking for consistency if you're looking for control the last thing every golfer talks about is their arms the going to lower it down more and then you're just going to turn your palm over okay now you notice when I turn my palm over I'm not moving my elbow out I'm turning my palm over and then bringing in my grip so look what position I'm already in I'm already in this position my elbow can fold it can work in and then I can move through you think about it logically you're already in the position you're trying to get to so you have to think about less that is exactly what a feeling I want you to have right let me get this one away and I'll show you the exact same process with your ions too so steady easy it takes five seconds ish you work in lower it Palm over boom in not even five I don't think foreign now we're on to irons and this is slightly different where I see golfers go wrong is they get their right shoulder a little bit low when trying to give the blood so watch what I do here and you'll see it all come together with the irons there's a slight difference so when you're giving the blood with driver we don't mind that right shoulder going low because we're trying to hit on the up but really feel as though your shoulders stay a little bit more level going through the same process with the arm Don't Let It Drop in okay that's sort of a fatal error because if you drop it in too much where are we gonna hit we're gonna hit that ground we're gonna bottom out a little bit early like that we don't want that we want that crunching compression so what I prescribed to you today is really simple really easy and something you should think about while going I can do that right away I
