it's gonna be your right Mouse button under controller it's going to be your left trigger if you hold that down it Powers the laser up and so you see how much thicker that is now let me go ahead and do it normally again that's normal this is charged the charged is much faster at mining yes it burns your energy faster but if it's much faster at braking materials and resources off so you can get them faster it also does more damage if you try to use the cutter as a weapon what's up Ryan how you doing what's up tag I'm just glad you remember me Bailey you underestimate me man you underestimate looking like Minecraft first person 3D no that's just the resource collection part of the game it's a very small part of the game that you know if you want to upgrade certain things throughout the game you're going to need to do but again guys don't judge the game so harshly on that that's a very small part of the game seriously don't go crazy about it all right we're gonna make a Goofy character because I've already made a couple of serious characters so let's just make something weird dude you guys ready let's start with this one here body we're gonna be like super scrawny I like the heck dude let's see our choices I did make a video on a uh on character creator last night as well I put it out today where I basically made myself it's actually pretty uncanny how much it looks like me in real life I could use it as like an Instagram photo it's so accurate let's see let's see what one do we want here oh that's just looking so good oh yeah that's the one right there that is the one now what we're doing here guys is I'm making a character that will fit the vibe of like a Reaver from uh what's it called Firefly now obviously the reavers and Firefly are a lot darker then this game will actually allow me to do surely but that doesn't mean that we can't get a little bit crazy right doesn't mean we can't get a little crazy here let's say I think that's pretty good let's see I'm gonna be being a a space pirate so let's see if we can get something to really fit that vibe laughs wish we got like a really like messy facial hair too just like random cuts and stuff I guess that's kind of patchy I guess that's a little patchy is the game out already the game becomes available in less than four hours but I was given early access to it a couple weeks ago by Bethesda and I've been playing it since I'm just making a new character now for uh stream uh you know I think we're gonna go with no facial hair here actually I think it's better I think it's better eyes let's see let's really refine this oh where'd that go that's not what I wanted all right let's just uh scale up we can move them backward and forward let's sync them in very nice very good eye color I think that's the one already but let's go ahead and scroll through them all real quick oh you know that's pretty good I like that that's that's kind of that's kind of creepy actually looks good looking good eyebrows can we have no eyebrows is that an option it appears no eyebrows is going to be right there that's the closest we can get to it uh eyebrow color does it really matter we can barely see them I temp on the complexion that's a little bit greenish I mean he's looking like he's gonna throw up at any second you know what I mean like he's just really sick he's looking pretty sickly what's up Guerra some scars oh yeah yeah that's pretty good right there let me look at the others though oh ah [Music] all right the one I saw writes here that's that's really good is this adworld the idea that's what I thought of too with those other scars that's pretty good oh yeah very good any tattoos we're going for any facial tattoos here probably not to be honest though honestly honestly 12 is okay what do you guys think number 12 or nothing you guys think number 12 or nothing here technical backstep compared to other space games like no man's sky this comment is what I read in many other used for more than just the standard makeup idea what I mean by this is you actually can add a lot of color to the complexion of a character's face as well which is really interesting to see yeah it's pretty good right on you see what I mean how like it says lipstick accent since lipstick base but like the way it looks right now if anything it just looks like he's just very like sick like he's just malnourished and just has like some type of sickness going on it's actually really good it's a whacked up Reaver yeah exactly we're going for the Reaver look man uh let's see here yeah it's actually pretty damn solid the way that works why wear makeup at this point while we covering up oh man we're just making a little more sickly no worries let me turn down the intensity on this just a little bit yeah it's pretty good right there and then let's go back to this one I think we're gonna turn this all the way up as well and then down that a little bit yeah yeah kind of looks like it just got punched in the cheek you know what I mean yeah punched right in the face and then let's add some dirt oh my god dude this guy this guy has never seen a shower okay like you say the word shower to him going to be a space pirate of sorts so let's see if we can find something uh Bounty Hunter could be decent so what this is the background guys it gives you three starting skills in accordance to like what the the name of the background is let's see here space scoundrel pistol certification persuasion piloting space scoundrel could be good though I would rather not the pistol certification I wish that was like a shotgun but I think we're gonna go with that anyway space scoundrel space scoundrel and then here are the obvious answers are wanted we are a wanted criminal right so this means that we're gonna be hunted by bounty hunters right that's cool uh we're gonna go with introvert we're just a lonely very lonely space pirate out there all by ourselves and then spaced your body has become acclimated to space health and oxygen are increased when in space but decreased when on the surface and there's our dude what do you guys think what do you guys think let's go what's the name all window and looting is very fast I love systems like this where it's just so much faster than you know previous games where oftentimes it would like pause the gameplay so you're like have to open up a which once once that little tutorial area ends you are free to do what you want to do it's gonna you know you're gonna have a main mission of course but you can go ahead and stay within this system explore around you can go check out different planets and moons here um you know there's like a thing called one-of-a-kind Salvage there we can go check out and there's you know STAR Stations over here we can go check out or we can go further back in the system and you're gonna see all sorts of different star systems across the board here all over the place every red and white dot is a star system the white dots are areas that I can go to right away the red dots are areas that I have to travel to other areas first in order to get to them right currently unavailable this location why do I need to do this to test all controls and systems yeah so it's going to teach me the controls of how to fly and then we can go wherever me oh no way no way okay hold left alt and use wasd to switch between systems and allocate power you can skip the ship tutorial by powering up all systems including the grav Drive alright so let's go ahead and just power up all the systems across the board so that way you can skip the tutorial because I don't need it requires power is over your Direct Control let's go over the engines [Music] maybe he thinks the most important in chat shamed he had to come off all rude some people are just like that man [Music] you'll notice that goes up and down as you adjust to the throttle try to I wouldn't let me skip so I guess we'll just do it what's up Colin now let's go here no can't travel yet all right it's making me do stuff guys I'm sorry all right so obviously we have our first person in ship view guys that is a thing here but we also have third person view too I do prefer the third person view everything is you can loot whenever you see a ship a ship blow up you'll find one part of it that is lootable it's going to be you know similar shape to this here it'll have like a white diamond icon over it you can go up to it and like highlight it and when you're within 500 meters of it it'll allow your ship to kind of like grab everything from it May that your five gifted members buddy love with five gifted members as well damn thank you guys very much with a big generosity May and Buddy love thank you guys God damn thank you dudes everybody at this rate the odds of continual assault from their ships high enough to jeopardize our vision short they are after the frontier and will not stop we will need to deal with the local Crimson Fleet Captain a 's and scan indicates an abandoned facility on the nearby Moon of Crete perfect interesting area for pirates all right all right so it wants me to travel to Crete now okay so you guys notice on the on the bottom left right where my mouse is right now on the bottom left that's the speed indicator if you use your controls you can push it up and down but you'll notice the uh the white line right here that is the like the very middle of the gauge there and you want to use that to make it so your ship can turn at its tightest that means that you're using the maneuvering thrust of your engines to the max right there and that's something that's Universal across all engines they all have that they all have different you know stat values for maneuvering and uh you know regular thrust but when you have it right there in the middle of the white line you can turn the tightest that is when your maneuvering thrusts is at its at its peak whereas when you push it up you don't have nearly as much maneuvering thrust as you can see here if I slow down I can turn a lot tighter a lot faster so keep that in mind when you're out there exploring all right let's see it wants me to travel to Crete but I want to go to Nera I can't fast travel there yet okay so I guess I lied earlier we have to do some more tutorial stuff first so we can just kind of set our course here and then travel there we have arrived in orbit the abandoned facility with our Crimson Fleet Captain is on the surface all right the plan of view of the star map gives you information about the environment lets you scan the planet for resources and helps you discover key Landing sites rotate the planet until the Crete research lab map icon is in view then select the map icon to land there so this is what we're talking about right here boom let's go let's go Mythic blue thank you for the five gifted members of the community as well I really appreciate it thank you for the kindness you guys are being so generous today thank you impressive knowledge of the game already thanks Reese tell me anything about this game might keep you busy for a few days this game will keep we'll keep this game will keep you busy for many many hundreds of hours yes all right so here's where we can use our survey tool for the first time as well scan creatures minerals and plants each unique item scan progresses your survey data of the planets completed survey data can be sold for credits so this is a great passive way to make money the scanner mode also unlocks additional features such as building outposts and using social skills like diplomacy and intimidation so as you can see now that we have the scan tool up you see how these are highlighted in blue that means we can scan them and when they're solid blue it means they've already been scanned see that not everything is going to be scannable but we can scan a lot of things all the same and of course you can mine the resources while you're at it also another thing is you can indeed use your laser cutting tool as a weapon as you can see so that is a possibility there too guys you're so generous Winter thank you for the gifted um travel capacity and your fuel tank has different sizes as well that will change like how far you can go bouncing the twin system to system those are both factors that weigh in on how far you can grab jump also there are plants right here as you can see there's Flora we can scan that as well but when you're not scanning it it'll highlight like when you get close to it like right here it says dust Roots where can I actually loot it right here when you harvest it it gives you material as well as you can see on top right it gave me some Fiber and it wants me to go that way that's the objective but we're free to kind of just go explore let's go check out this little base over here let's go see what that is shark bits thank you for the 110 Euros holy crap holy so good to see so many wait that means that he has a bit of a shield going on he's a little tougher ow okay we found a poisonous Maelstrom which is nice it's basically the same thing as this but uh you know adds poison space adapt 30 damage while in space minus 15 damage while on planet and poison poison randomly deals poison damage and slows at Targets we also have the Grendel which I'll be honest with you man the Grendel early game is not not good it's not great where'd you go little buddy it is a shame now let me stab you a lead line ground clue pack you see what I mean guys like exploring already is paying off look at this we just found ourselves a nice upgrade to our pack and it uh it doesn't have damn it doesn't have a boost back on it unfortunately but we use less oxygen and we take uh you know less radiation damage because we have more radiation radiation resistance now that that's important right now but we have it all the same all right let me see kind of liking that one more oh yeah space smeagle looking good computer and there's nothing on this computer at all okay well that was unfortunate another little bit of advice for you guys and this is actually in one of my videos as well you can use the surveying tool uh to identify loots you see all these things highlighted in blue the blue outline that means those specifically are lootable it'll show you what they are when you get closer of course but these specifically are lootable things when you get you know with a scanner up in front of you it'll show you what you can interact with and what you cannot nice little uh help in identifying what you can actually do I'm hearing more gunshots in the distance somewhere all right so it looks like we took out the leader we got a nice little bit of loot from the area so I think we move on guys it's too bad I couldn't like request to join them I would absolutely join them right now if I could okay so because there is lower gravity we can make bigger jumps without fear of we have a boost back let me go all the way up just to show you now that we have a boost pack and we can actually boost around let me just do a little bit of this because we have that capability now look at that we don't have to climb all the way down even with lower gravity you can take fall damage it just you know it varies planet and planet to planet and moon to moon but in this case because I have a Boost pack I can just brace my fall nice and safe Walker maybe the five dollars juice coins for the space Explorer thank you a lot dude I appreciate the kindness I appreciate the generosity thank you dude okay another thing I can teach you guys is if you look at the bottom left you see the O2 and CO2 meter down there the right wed oh my God the whites and red O2 is white CO2 is red when you sprint it uses your O2 and it will drain that meter until it's empty if you keep sprinting the screen will start to blur a little bit and the CO2 meter will start to build if you max out your CO2 meter you'll start to take some health damage you can still you can still Sprint in small bursts when it maxes out there but you're going to take Health damage every time you do it I'll show you see how the white on the bottom left is draining that's essentially our stamina in this game in this game it's called oxygen so it's just draining away and now the CO2 or the red bar is going to start building up and it fills up very rapidly you notice how the screen has like a blur going on and then when we Max it out we take a small amount of Health damage and I can do a quick Sprint in a small burst as you can see but every time I do it I take more Health damage you see that you see how my health is draining so you can keep going if you're in like a dire situation and you just keep you need to keep running but you are going to be at a disadvantage for it because your screen is blurry and you're taking damage can you explain the difficulty modes as far as I've been able to tell so far difficulty only makes enemies do more damage and have more health and of course if you hold down F on the keyboard you do get a flashlight I'm not sure what the button is on controller but you have a flashlight available at all times oh my God another epic I'm a rattler let me go ahead and check that out 11 damage okay it's 11 damage on that one too let me go ahead and put that there I'm also going to use the Furious Maelstrom here it does better damage than the other one and it is semi-automatic so it'll conserve a lot of ammo that'll be nice yo buddy love thank you for the two I everything a lot of um a lot of the moons in the game are described as Barren but let me tell you dude you find some incredibly cool things on Baron moons I won't spoil anything until you know we actually see it on stream you can find some incredibly cool things on Baron moons too so just because it's described as Baron doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out also let me clear something else out real quick uh obviously there is the uh the guy on social media that's like bashing on the game because you can't land on every single planets but um you actually can land on every planet that does have a surface there obviously are planets out there that you can't land on because they're freaking gas giants and don't have solid surface to land on so you know use your uh your basic elementary school education and you know kind of keep that in mind you cannot land on a freaking gas giant because guess what it's made of gas freaking idiots man what's up Hugo yeah as you guys can see the indoor areas definitely have an increase in fps instanced locations like this definitely perform a little bit better foreign also guys another little bit of tip is make sure you loot every enemy and always take their ammo because ammo has no weight in the game at all ammo has no weights which means you can pick all of it up forever and then any ammo that you don't plan on using you can sell for easy money also you can use vending machines it gave me a boom pop cherry delicious Cherry Cola baby okay we found some antibiotics that'll actually be useful for us there are different effects throughout the game you can get infections you can get Burns you can get uh uh what's it called hypothermia you can get free you can get like frost bites all that stuff shark thank you for another two dude a game is one out of ten Kevin breathe on the sun I hate it when you can't breathe on the sun dude that sucks that sucks dude thank you for the two where's the drugs there are drugs in the game as well yes in fact you can actually make drugs in the game so that way you can like give yourself like a performance boost in different ways like for example there's one called uh cqbx which gives you a boost in melee combat and of course there's all this stuff here too you can you know go on computers and you you know read all the lore there's also computers that you can activate certain systems similar to fallouts where you can like have like uh certain things go on your side by reprogramming them stuff like that there's also a bunch of lore that you can read on them one more time something I have noticed is a lot of these lockers don't really have much in them but I keep checking them anyway because there has been a Few Lockers that I found you know like 1 000 plus credits in so all right you guys want to see some lock picking are there different antibiotics there are different ways to treat infections but not different antibiotics that I can see okay so it says fill in all open slots in every layer to open the lock select a key and rotate it until it lines up with the gaps in the security layer slot the key to fill in the gaps each key can only be used once as you can see down here I have six Digi picks you can see it right there as well we have six so how this works is you have layers like they're called security layers we have one outer one and then one inner one one in inner one what you want to do here is try to line up these lines with the holes that you see in the layers right now what I like to do personally is make sure they all line up before I enter them because you actually can only use each one once you can actually screw yourself and not be able to solve the puzzle so you want to make sure that they all line up well before you enter it in so let's go ahead and do that the outer layer here has five slots so we need to make sure we fill in all five of those slots let's work on that it looks like this one is not going to line up with all the slots on the outside part here so that means that this one will not fit on the outside yeah that one doesn't work for us this one here looks like it'll fit right there on the outside and then this one here will fill up the remaining holes on the outside as you can see they're all accounted for now so let's go ahead and take time to line up these ones on the inner circle you can see that it lines up there there and there which means we have three more slots we have to line up which this looks like it'll shape up very nicely right there there and there and so now that all the slots are accounted for we can go ahead and enter them in you see how it broke the Outer Circle when all the slots were filled notice how when I enter one like this one here we'll get rid of these three security holes boom and so those holes are filled raising and now we have three more holes to fill and now we have three whole fillers boom boom and now we get all the loot inside we get a whole bunch of healing stuff we got a handgun out of the deal not bad this looks annoying it can get tedious yeah there has been times when it has felt tedious but once again as is classic Bethesda you can find some pretty incredible things inside there but again you don't actually have to do it there's not a single part of the game that requires you to do it that's all optional that's if you want to get that type of loot from them you don't have to do that if you don't want to I will tell you that you'll be missing out on a lot if you don't but it's not required ah Cheesesteak delicious oh some bandages nice oh you can find weapon racks on the wall here okay so now here's here we're now encumbered you saw how that popped up on the top right it said we're encumbered now when we walk around because we're encumbered if you look at the bottom left even though I'm not sprinting I'm losing my oxygen you see that even though I'm not sprinting I'm losing my oxygen you can also not fast travel when you're encumbered so keep that in mind too we're going to go ahead and drop some stuff that we just picked up or you know that is lackluster that we don't need that Grendel is weaker than the other Grendel so we'll get rid of that and then we just picked up something else so we picked up an extra Eon so we're gonna we're gonna try to drop both of those eons because we found a better one anyway and uh yeah we're good to go I just realized we also have a double barrel shotgun let's throw that on because that actually hits really hard early game to Anthony they give it the two dollars throughout the entire game and you will be able to come to a point where you can find certain things that will follow certain people like they are dogs but I haven't found anything personally that would allow us to say have our own pets yes we can't stop it when we tried to sync with the neural control interface it just completely flipped out broke through its containment Michaelson Cobb and sumatri in all of one that can come in handy when facing an onslaught of enemies allowing you to flank or snipe or snipe the leader absolutely we got more Digi picking let's go ahead and line this stuff up I mean that's beautiful all right I found some laser ammo not great considering I don't have a laser weapon of any kind but I'm detecting a safe nearby we could make use of whatever is inside provided you had some Digi picks and a disregard for personal property rights thank you that's what's called a heat leech they're actually something that can infest electrical things including ships I don't know if your ship can actually have like an outbreak of them but it's something that some characters in the game actually do mention at different times okay we're all dead comes relay has been mupping modding is actually pretty thorough pretty thorough you do have to um do a lot of research in order to get a lot of the better stuff though so consider that too also citizen Kano thank you for Fleet Rook hears about the frontier that constellation keeps treasure hidden in the cargo bays and the loot from a hundred planets that statement is partially correct the frontier as into many planets and moons but the only things held in the cargo bays are spare parts dust desiccated food particles and a variety of species of ant I don't care what kind of Spirit programmed that robot to say we're taking that ship all right all right what's up Mel how you doing yeah space bed bugs kinda uh mad foz to increase your weight capacity there is a skill called weightlifting which gives you you know more Max Capacity as well as you can use your ship's cargo hold to store items in that you're not actively using or that you plan on selling as well as you can um put stuff on of you on your companions as well to do the same idea there's also certain pieces of gear in the game that you can find that will decrease the weights of certain things like I have found spacesuits before that decrease the weight of resources that I'm carrying as well as I have found helmets and spacesuits that decrease the weights of our weapons too so there's little Buffs that you can get on your gear as you find them too screamer they give you the five visited Mom today she's only gotten to the undead Berg and Dark Souls but shows no signs of giving up go mom hashtag praise the sun hashtag praise Jews it's so cool that your mom's playing Dark Souls man that's sick let's try to persuade him there's no treasure on my ship cut your losses before more people get hurt you're not talking us out of this score okay so persuading is actually different in this game guys says to persuade a person you need to make a successful choice can range from kind words to distractions to threats each choice has a difficulty the higher the difficulty the greater the chance the choice fails but the more points you'll earn when you succeed you have a limited number of choices you can make but you can never fail if your last Choice succeeded so what this means is you can see here we've got three different choices and then we have the persuasion meter here and how many terms we have left here what it means by you can never fail if your last Choice succeeded say if we are you know we have no persuasion but you know it's our last turn and we actually succeed one of these choices that means that you actually get another chance at the end to try to keep it going kind of like a Snowball Effect right so that's the thing here let's go ahead and try to persuade him you have it wrong constellations and consolation is an explorers group they aren't treasure Hunters [Music] hey if you want to trade ships that sounds good to me the frontier creaks when it turns anyway you willing to give up the ship value on my ship there's nothing there for them there is another option here where you can just kind of light them up and kill them and then you just have a fight play out uh but keep in mind as well that there are other social skills to add to all of this you I do have a point in Persuasion because you know that's just like the background that I chose so that definitely helped out there but then you have other things like you know we have diplomacy intimidation there's also like manipulation instigation you have leadership and you know you have like Scavenging and theft all that stuff I will be specking some points into this because of piracy I am a space pirate but yeah those are all things there is pickpocketing in the game as well but again you have to unlock that skill I'm trying to not kill off Pirates though because I want to see if I can join the Crimson Fleet I don't know how to but I would like to helium 3 dispenser that has helium 3. right that's cool that's cool man but okay um this is done and now this is something that a lot of people were afraid of they weren't sure if it was going to be possible this is something that is a big deal when it comes to exploration now keep in mind this only works if you're not in Comfort meaning that you aren't overweight on your character you can fast travel back to your ship at any time as long as you're not in an instance what that means is if I was still indoors like I wouldn't be able to travel but because I'm not indoors I can just travel back to my ship very quickly there we go into the city of New Atlantis don't worry this will only come second nature before too long what's up bacon cookies why didn't you stick with your main first character build uh Locust that's because that character is the character that I use to make all my other videos on Starfield that went out earlier today this is a new playthrough so it's a new character my other character I got all the way to level 50. that's just a different course here okay unavailable to this location why why okay I guess it's gonna make me jump this I thought that the tutorial would actually not include this part but I guess it will okay so in order to jump from one system to another you need to go back out to this screen here so what that is is like I'm just tapping M on my keyboard whatever button on your controller to bring up your map you can just do that on the Fly and then we can back out to this the system the local solar system and then back out one more time to the Galaxy and then we can jump from one system to another this is why you need a grab drive because it you know it's called grab jumping and this is what allows you to go between the systems so we need to go to Alpha Centauri so let's go there we click on it and then it shows you how much fuel you are using and how much you have available now this is something that fills up automatically it it probably should have called it like energy instead of fuel to be honest but it's a very similar premise where it just kind of recharges by itself it is a you know a certain amount of successful jump that will use up a certain amount of fuel based on the you know the travel distance and then of course you need to power up the grav drive so let's put one bit of energy in there what's up Mark how you doing and here we are Alpha Centauri they're scanning us for Contraband okay so now we can open up the planet map here so that way we can choose our landing spot you can see that this planet is uh it's a temperate Planet this one has some human civilization on there and it has several different areas that you can land like you have right there you can land we have right there you can land and also right there you can land but something a lot of people may not realize and why I'm sharing this information with you is because this is very important you don't have to land at these locations you can land anywhere you want as long as it's not liquid right so if I want to land on this island over here I can click right there and land no problem if I want to land on this island no problem I want to land on the you know the little Peninsula on this island sure no problem it'll even tell you it's coastline if I want to land all the way down at the South Pole sure can bud sure can no problem I want to land at the North Pole right there sure dude do it up you can land there if you'd like no problem dude and also it'll tell you what the local area that you chose to land in it's uh it's biome so obviously up there it's frozen mountains right over here deciduous forest right here more deciduous forest but if I click right on the coast it'll be a little bit different coniferous forest so even in a small area you can end up in different biomes you see that coniferous versus deciduous right down here mountains this is a mountainous Island right here right here deciduous forest right there we have deciduous forest but on the coastline you see that you want to see the North Pole sure let's go to the North Pole yes space Santa now we have you know when we land we get three options we can exit the ship take off again or get up what we're gonna do here is just get up this means you'll exit the pilot seats you're gonna be in the cockpit you can walk around the ship easy see that cool here's your cargo hold it'll say cargo hold right on it and it'll have a whole bunch of stuff in there for you already if you picked stuff up like I did earlier and you can transfer stuff in there at any time you can open it up it'll show you how much mass it has you see that it's 156 out of 450 so it has a good amount of space I can take anything here out that I would like to or as you can see right here you can take all or go to your inventory press Q or you know use your mouse to select it and this is my actual character's inventory I can just put stuff out of my inventory into here if I want I don't want to use the mag Eon so let's put that in there I don't plan on using the Kraken let's put it away the rescue ax let's put that away too the poison Maelstrom don't want it let's put it away and then boom look at that my mass has gone down whereas the ship's Mass has gone up because I put those items on there and then of course you do have the option as well to jettison this means any item that you have actively selected you can jettison it let's say um you know what I don't really want this modified Kraken right here where'd it go I just picked it up on accident hold on I don't want this uh I don't want one of these axes I have two of them I'm just gonna get rid of them I don't want them anymore and there you go not only are they not on the floor of your ship but they're actually outside of the ship now we might be able to find them on the ground and of course you do have the captain's Locker as well that's where you can put more private items if you would like and then you know every interior of every ship is a little bit different here we have a research station we've got a bed a little cooking area a table that's bigger than the cooking area and then you know that's the you know the up is the docker the docker is the side that you go on when you board another ship or a space station and then down below is actually the landing area you can exit the ship that way can you recruit companions yes there's at least 10. I found 10 in my previous playthrough but I do believe there's more than that and then boom look at that we're outside we're in the uh we're in the North Pole isn't that something and then we can talk to Vasco here constellations headquarters is located in the city of New Atlantis you can trade Gear with him of service you can put stuff in his pockets if you would like and I'm pretty sure we can make them so he stays here too but I can't remember how to do it come here step on the ship to live at New Atlantic okay it might not let us until we actually go to the main area it might make him stick with you until you get to the main area and then you can just go separate ways so you know forces your hand a little bit there but yeah and now we're in the North Pole you can use your survey tool and look around you can see here that we're in that area with a lot of argon now what this means is when you see these giant areas that you can't directly Harvest that means you can set outposts outposts are ways that you can set up like a little base structure to make it so you can like mine material like if you want to mine this argon you can do that you just tap a certain button on your controller or keyboard and then you'll be able to set down a beacon to start a certain area you can set up a an outpost to you know to kind of have your own little area obviously I'm not going to do that here because argon and water is something I'm not in need of and then of course we have some local fauna this is a hurting Reef Walker scavenger you got to go around and scan a certain number of them before it'll give you the full details on it but you'll be able to see more and more details on them as you scan more and more of them see now now that we got 25 we learned that their natural temperament is defensive so they're very very defensive creatures you got to be careful around them because they can attack you we can keep scanning and now we know what resources they drop they can drop toxins and then biomes that they're found are frozen mountains and coniferous forests you see how it's giving me more information the more I scan them can we ride them no not as of yet anyway and then there's of course there's Flora as well that you can scan like I showed you previously but also while you're scanning around you can find some local landscape features over there as an unknown structure over there that's also an unknown structure over there it looks like there's some type of Life happening over there we can go check that out too and so while everything is very Zone related it's all procedurally generated so every Zone you land in there's always going to be something to do always [Music] oh we found some uh some other animals these are called Apex parrot Hawks it looks like they're already aggressive too so that could be a problem oh like okay their temperament is also defensive gotta be careful around these guys let's go ahead and check out what this little icon is over here let's see what's going on up there how long you been playing at this point I have almost 100 hours in the game can the spaceship also be expanded or adjusted as you like it yes Kleiner I have a video on my channel talking about the amount of expansion and customization that you can do with your ships can go check out that video on my channel if you would like I basically take the very ship over there that I landed with and I customized it and for a pretty affordable cost too so a lot of players can do those same customizations and really upgrade the ship pretty early on all you have to do is just make sure you go have the money to do it which making money in this game is relatively easy okay so we found the area unexplored geological feature what happens when you go to these areas is you're going to be tasked with kind of scanning a couple things so you can see what the area has going on so we're going to see some stuff highlighted in blue in the area there's some Argon and then there's this right here a microbial Community tendrils filter through the air and ground for nutrients and relay sensory information to the microbial colony and so it's just a local feature that you can go to and scan and when you're done scanning it you'll get a bit of a survey bonus and it'll give you some experience for doing so look at that 100 experience level three [Music] so you can very much so play this game and be extremely pacifist and still Level Up granted you're still going to get into combat here and there foreign but yeah Joe's third person sure do you want range third person or over the shoulder third person we have both options crocodonts whatever the hell that means it's like a Croc wolf dude oh my God it's a crocodile wolf and then you can see they drop all sorts of materials depending on what they are you imagine a crocodile wolf what the uh once again I'll show you the Boost pack and help us you know Traverse difficult terrain you see how I can't walk up this but if I boost back I can just get right up there and this is why boost pack training early on is very important no matter your class no matter what you pick at the beginning of the game it's important to choose that early on all right so let's go ahead and get back on the main story here we can you know just fast travel back to our landing area very easy can you call your ship to your location no but you can fast travel to it and of course there's other ships that land as well that might actually be some bounty hunters so what you can do because I am a wanted criminal because that's one of the traits I chose at the beginning that ship landed so we can actually go over there and investigate it any ship that lands within your Zone you can go check it out sometimes they'll be friendly sometimes they won't be so friendly let's go see how many FPS you can see my FPS in the top right of the screen the green numbers up there can you kill them and steal their ship not all ships are going to be something that you can take because some of them have different security systems but yes you can take ships and you'll actually get to a point where you'll be able to see their Landing site as well I think if we keep going this way it'll pop up eventually I just gotta find it it is a little foggy so it's kind of harder to spot what happens to your old ship then if you do take another ship the other ship will still be yours you can just um you can actually go to a ship technician and decide which one you want to be called your home ship or your main ship and then all your other ships that you have will be something you can change between at any time when you speak to a technician I don't know if there's a limit to the number of ships you can have in my previous playthrough I had at most uh when I got to a bug like a peak point I had nine I had nine different ships I end up selling a few of them for you know a good chunk of change yes I am playing 1440p ultra settings across the board where is this Landing sites guys where was it all right that's my landing area here's uh bats if it wasn't so foggy I'd be able to see it easier oh we got some Pirates here thank you come on come on oh he just closed that door oh hey here's the ship right here look at that we found it we found it it landed right outside the Pirates or the power station here [Music] that's an expert lock do headshots matter uh yeah yeah they can he didn't know all right whose ship is this this is an ecliptic stiletto so there is a faction called the eclipse they're kind of like mercs for hire let's board their ship they boarded the ship their alarm is now going off you can see we have different areas we can go we can go up that's where we came in check out this floor see if there's anything for us I know they have some stuff we could take I guess they're supplies looks like they turned off their alarm excuse me Moscow is that a double barrel yes yeah food paste dude okay we're approaching the bridge oh why is that there if you guys actually look in there you'll see they're sitting in their seats they're sitting in their seats right now so let's do a nice little clear let's do something smart let's big brain this we're gonna go ahead and throw some frag frag grenades in there let's open up why did that pop up there that's not ideal all right this guy died in his chair look at that and look at this guys we can commandeer their ship nope we cannot you are not authorized to Pilot this ship it said so that means that they have some type of security system where they need some type of authorization I'm not sure how to count how to counteract that but it doesn't mean that we can't loot their stuff all the same we take their credits their ammo their resources otherwise I don't know that's of any use to me right now but yeah we took them out now on some ships you're going to be able to you know just sit in the pilot seat and just take it it'll give you that choice to just kind of take it if you want or you can just leave it here either way we don't have the authorization so that means they have some type of system going on where I'm not able to just kind of do that unfortunately I'm not sure if there's a way to change that I'm not seeing any systems anywhere that I can interact with to change that up so it is what it is would you recommend this game to chase me down you can tell this is very much a little Bethesda game because they're just like b-lining straight towards me let's make a save and they're actually trying to talk to me emerge and so because I have The Wanted thing I have a special dialogue choice I don't know who you think I am but you're about to find out first and one second so we're off to a good start anyway since you seem confused by our presence I'll break it down for you how many credits you think fitted an Ashton boss question we ever saw you just collected the old-fashioned way so you see how they're trying to extort credits out of me instead of just killing me we can pay it up or we can choose a different choice you can fit way more than 2 000 credits in an ashta ow what's up oh that man is running so this is something that does kind of annoy me you see how a lot of the bullets are just kind of going to the sides you see that I actually have no control over that and you know it's not a it's not a player versus player game so it's not that big of a deal at the end of the day but man do I wish that you know bullets would go where my reticle is is the other first two went around him instead of hitting him directly despite my reticle being directly on his forehead not a fan of random bullet deviation or volume not a fan of it but it is what it is n't that just recoil no recoil is when the gun goes up like this it's just not how uh rifles work in real life or you know guns in general that's how they work in real life so you know I know it's not a real life game it is a video game after all so it's not that big of a deal but even if I control the recoil the bolts are gonna go to the side let me show you see how they're going all over you see all those bullet holes realistically they should go dead center and then obviously The Recoil when The Recoil happens where the boat where the barrel is pointed during recoil the bullet will go there's no reason that bullet should be going left and right like that though that's just not how it works [Music] but it's just a video game after all so it is what it is that cannot be improved through upgrades oh you can definitely uh improve that through upgrades there's an accuracy stat that'll help with that definitely a thing that helps there anyway now that we've seen that let's actually go to the area we're supposed to go to another choice that you have if you don't want to go directly back to your ship but you plan on staying like you know on the same planet or in the same system you can just click on the other location that you plan on going to and then just travel it'll actually skip all the taking off and Landing animations so you can save yourself a good minute or so on like loading times animations stuff like that and now we're just here and there's our ship called Indigo again [Music] and right here we have a ship Services technician and he's our new captain my crew can take a look at your ship and you can stop by to trade Authority kiosk if you need to offload some cargo okay we can pay him to repair our ship we can also View and modify our ships we can see what ships he has for sale let's take a look at that just so you guys can see what kind of ships there are in the game there's a rambler now keep in mind that any ship that you buy in the game you can customize that means you can change the paint job as well as you can change the parts on it if you'd like more details on that I did release a video today you can go check that out it is called how to use the shipbuilder in Starfield there's one called the Galileo very neats very cool kefir and then the shield breaker these are all you know just different configurations that any player can build as well and you can buy any of them and then you can customize them any way you want pretty cool idea everything looks good here I'll be at my booth if you need me and then also right next to the ship Services kiosk you're going to find a trade Authority kiosk as well you can just like quickly sell things they almost always have 5 000 credits but you can buy stuff from them as well as you can sell stuff to them pretty quickly so let's say uh I don't want you know this basic maelstroms that I have we can just kinda sell them if we'd like so let's just go ahead and sell off there we go made a quick little Buck I don't want the Kraken I do want the modified Maelstrom I do want the Rattler [Music] or well we have a crippling Rattler that I'm already using so we'll stick with that I did pick up an extra cutter as you can see the number two there that's how many I have we'll sell one of those look at that or everyone I'm almost 10 000 credits already we can also go to our ammo you can see that I have a lot of different ammo types you can sell any ammo that you don't plan on using I'm gonna hold on to it with myself for now you can also sell your resources like all this beryllium I don't plan on using beryllium anytime soon so let's just sell it Kayla might won't be using that either let's just sell it isotopic coolants we can sell those the metabolic agents but neodymium don't need it sell all don't need that don't need we are in the city of New Atlantis thanks Kai how many ships have I customized and my previous playthrough I customized four different ships out of the nine total that I had a customized four and then see the knee at Rank 2 the knee turns red at Rank 3 an arrow impacts the knee and then rank four the arrow blows out the knee completely arrow to the knee man arrow to the knee live gameplay live gameplay pre-release yes hello okay and then we have different districts in this city of course we uh we have a lot of stuff going on around us here but we're gonna go to the other District so that way we can get to you know carried on with this main story so that way it opens up other possibilities for us there's social areas here yeah there's cities on different planets yep so my memory um I know of three major cities including this one and I do believe there are more yet that I haven't seen [Music] how big is this game has in gigabytes um I want to say like 120 gigs on PC Josh you fell gameplay this is barely scratching the surface of a main story gloves say you take someone's ship and you go sell it or store it how do you get back to the original ship you go to the ship technician any ship technician an area and any area you can find that has them tea and then you can ask to view or modify your ships and when you're scrolling through those ships you can designate which one you want to be your main ship is it all online um no this is all single player I don't think online capabilities are required for this game to play yes Michael does the game have difficulty options yes answer this other question first you see there is a console in the game as you can see use of certain console commands will disable achievements and then you know on the bottom here you can type in you know console stuff right there you open that up with that tilde key you also close it with the tilde key just keep in mind that if you are to use that it will disable achievements is there multiplayer in this game no completely solo will it be possible to just walk out of the ship or is the ladder a teleporter it's called ships are what's called an instanced situation Omega you don't just walk out because your ship is a is an instanced thing that you can customize so because it's customized they have to instance it so that way it's something that runs better and then you exit the ship to the outside world afterward no problem Gib B and also to see your objective you'll see a a blue hexagon on your screen whenever you have an active objective ultimate mystery that gentlemen can we please Focus Noel I think it's time which right we know the artifacts react to each other the pieces we already have move when they're in close contact now if we add this new one to the two we already have the artifact if you could place it on the table here was the max ship size I do not know yet I will say that I spent 400 000 credits customizing a ship trying to make it as large as possible but there was still space for more so I actually could not see the max size they're reacting you'll have a hunt attack she's not the only one if they're coming together let me built by an intelligence outside the settled systems still 2 000 credits for our little wager you're on Walter but if you had all the answers it wouldn't be exciting now would it not to take away from the moment mission menu there's some activities that you can find out in the world and then you know the main story there's factions there's regular missions you got the activities like I mentioned earlier there's all sorts of stuff going on as much as I love uncovering new questions I wouldn't mind a few answers now let me show you guys something that was intense wasn't it the artifacts I mean sorry this must all be a little overwhelming for you right now I guess a lot overwhelming now that I think about it I'm Noel really nice to meet you and thank you for bringing the artifact to us yeah no abbreviated tour this is very important and you're gonna want this trust me Walter is quite proud of the collection but Mateo has made more than a few contributions this is going to change the game there's magazines in the game that will give you stat increases here's the very first one permanently permanently reduces fall damage by five percent whenever you pick it up you automatically get that bonus it's automatically applied and then you can take that magazine and drop it you can go sell it if you want they don't sell for very much but you can go sell them if you want your first Bethesda game nice James Brand thank you again for the five gifted members dude now again this part is very important I do recommend playing the main story up till thus far at least for one big reason and I'll show you Pretenders so help yourself Within now let's see about that room you're in luck are the conversations feel responsive meaningful there are there's a mix there's some that are very one-sided like this one and then there's other ones where you can actually influence different decisions like specifically with the faction stuff that I did earlier in my other playthrough it made it so you can affect different happenings based on your conversational choices you've already played through this I've played through the game a lot but I actually barely touched the main story right up to this point is where I stopped the main story okay this will be you common room on one side so that'll be quiet and Mateo on the other side so maybe a little less quiet I'm sure Sarah has something planned for each of us so I'd better get back to it don't want to keep her waiting too long enjoy okay so this here is our room any character can get this this is just a room that you have at the lodge it's a you know it's a very nice looking room and most of it is pretty unremarkable there's not a whole lot going on in here that's special you do have the Chrono Mark watch case which you already have the watch on your wrist so that's a thing that's fine but what you really care about in this room is this right here storage you can transfer anything that you can carry in here and it has infinite Mass infinite Mass I say so you can just go over to your inventory and then throw whatever the hell you want in there I'm gonna put the zero wire the sealants the microbials there we go look at that you can go back to storage it's got infinite Mass so it doesn't care how much it has in there infinite Mass and so that's why it's very important to get this room because only you can touch that no other things in the game can touch that that's completely yours your infinite storage base right there and another very useful part of this game as well in this same building this is called The Lodge which is you know you get there in the first few hours of the main story it has a downstairs area it has a downstairs area that is going to have everything you ever need for crafting you have pharmaceutical lab you have cooking stations you've got a mission board you have the industrial workbench you have the spacesuit workbench you have the weapon workbench literally every bit of crafting that you could possibly do in the game even a research lab right here everything right here in one spot write that down do not forget you're going to be traveling out there in the universe you're gonna be like huh I could really use a research lab here you go or huh I really want to edit my spaceship here you go I want to work on all of my crafting I want to cook some lunch while also working on my spacesuits there you go both choices right there boom and of course you also get some uh some loot right here we have an incendiary Grendel that's actually kind of nice that's actually kind of nice and there's other some other stuff down here that you can loot as well if you would like but you know nothing major yeah it's very important that you get to at least this part of the game before you get out there and start traveling the Galaxy now speaking of traveling the Galaxy I'm going to ignore the main story now what's up Oliver how you doing all right guys before we do get out there to the Galaxy I'm going to fast travel to our ship you see down here fast travel to ship you can open up your map and then just fast travel to your ship as long as you're not inside a building in an instanced location you can do that from anywhere and then there we are we're in our ship and then from here we can just back out of here we can go some we can go just explore some stuff dude there's a ship over here let's go check that out oh that's a crimson Fleet Specter right there it is aggressive unfortunately so we have to take it out very far away let's see if we can catch up to it as you can see here we have third person right here but we also have first person weapons get it back up you see and we can get the resources like so can you blow up the moon um I am not flying a death star my dude and then we have this ship here which is called the Deimos Armored Transport and it does look like it's level 50 so I might actually get Dunked On by going on here but as you can see we have an option to dock on it so let's do that as long as you're within 500 meters of a ship if the dock option is there you can do that whenever you'd like in this case we just hold down r and then we dock with it what are your specs exclamation marks specs we'll give you a link that shows all of what I have going on look at that we're docked with it and then we can board undock or get up we're gonna go ahead and board the ship and here we are we're on this bad boy now I don't know what to expect here I've actually not done this yet so this could be bad I don't know let's make it safe again you can use your survey tool to spot boots anything that highlights in a blue outline means it's interactable like that right there you can take this thermos if we want to it's just a good way to kind of spot what you can interact with and what you can't the ship is huge yeah it's pretty big oh there's Pirates here guys oh it looks like the grav drive just went out or the reactor rather because now there's no gravity as you can see we're floating oh holy okay it looks like gravity is back on oh it's alternating man oh this weapon is so unaccurate foreign [Music] you guys want to see something really cool as well the system we jump to is experiencing unexpected solar flares took out the ship systems and they are having trouble restarting ah so that's what's going on on the ship they're trying to restart the reactor but they can't get it to stay on oh you see how little recoil this has laser pistol dude this ship is a mess dude hey a weapon case Coachman not that I needed that I've already got one The Coachman is the double barrel shotgun by the way foreign anything cool in here nope now I know there's more Pirates around so where are they perhaps above okay we found another magazine Vanguard space tactics for ship missiles permanently deal five percent more damage look at that and see this this is something that's not main story related we just found that by exploring if you can find a lot of this stuff just exploring the Galaxy guys you can end up extremely powerful by doing nothing but exploring it's really cool have we even seen one bug so far only a graphical bug with a uh with a pirate he was like like vibrating kind of like what I had in my video earlier today similar to that but it's only the second time I've seen that myself as far as Bethesda games go this game is extremely polished foreign we'll say I'm not navigating the ship the best I missed something clearly vibrating good all right can I get through this no it's looking pretty dang sealed maybe it allows me to pass through when the power's on hey bud oh we've got syntha meat chicken I love chicken all right power's on can I open you no I cannot it is a heavyweight door so maybe there's another way in there that we can uh get to oh zero g environment man you've already checked out all this oh this is an elevator it doesn't appear to be functioning now oh there's a hatch aha aha so this is where we requires the master capability which is the final one for lock picking so you can see there is some loot in there you can see a couple like there's a weapon box right there another military crates and then another storage crate right there but we can't get in there because I don't have the capabilities so we carry on with our days chlorine's always good yeah you never know when you're gonna need to clean a pool man you gotta keep that chlorine handy all right so let's get back to our ship you can see that this is the door to our ship which is called the frontier uh we can board it or just go straight to the cockpit by tapping r or holding R rather so let's do that and then boom we can undock and we're out of here Can you steal that ship no I don't think that ship is something that we can steal specifically because uh I couldn't find the cockpit one but also the reactor is not able to stay on which you know is a small problem there's another ship right here though what is this can I exploration because there's so many Barren moons and planets well let me tell you something when it says Barren that means nothing more than the actual landscape there's actually things here you can see that structure out there look at that there's some type of structure out there there's something right there there's the civilian Outpost there's another thing over there that we can see and a little thing right there something way off in the distance there another structure right there so what it means by Baron is the landscape not the actual stuff on the planet that you can find naturally like man-made structures here and also because we're on a moon with low gravity we can fly let's go this way and check this out see that how we can fly a little bit that's kind of cool can you fly with a ship while on the planet no no it's not a thing I can see why that's both a uh you know why that would be something people would want to do but it's just not the way like this universe works with ships you don't do like strafing runs on surfaces with ships in this game gonna be getting armored Core 6 soon which means I'll have the perfect reference material for my mom for my modeling and a 10 out of 10 game very nice there's a landing pad here I wager there will be Pirates here baby spacers deserted biotics lab Pirates okay so something I've been forgetting to do for a while is we actually have some skill points to spend so let's do that real quick we can level up our boost pack training so we can use less fuel which is very nice so in order to level up your things on the skill tree what you got to do is put one point into it to get a rank in it and then it will give you a sub task down here what you need to complete so you can put another skill point in there to level it up again in this case I need to use boost jump 25 times while in combat in order to get to rank 3. and then when I do that and put another skill point into it Rank 3 will give me a similar task to you know keep going from there extra credits on searching containers yes please and I also want this one because buying for five percent less and selling for more that's how we make money as a pirate dude and then from here when we get all this stuff a little bit more leveled up we can get deception which will help us you know ships 10 stronger will automatically surrender to piracy demands enemy Contraband scans are 10 less effective stuff like that turn around and leave oh you're already dead didn't realize you had died already I just set that man on fire oh my God this weapon is so feeds into a like a little like tank with nanites in it or something there you go yes can you tag a location go to space then land in the tag location instead of having to run so far just curious no if you've not been there you can't fast travel to it but since I've already fast traveled like to our ship for example since it is a marked location I can fast travel to that if it's a place you've already been to then yes you can fast travel and after I find this I'll be able to fast travel to it there but since that spot right there is not like a marked location on our on our uh tool if we cannot fast travel to that beam it into replicators like in Star Trek there you go do enemies level with you I want to say yes for the most part but I have stumbled upon some areas with some generally your rights uh you know I kind of I just lost interest what's my take on the game so far you should watch the videos I put out today my dude like I said leading up to this uh games release I put out a review video and some other videos talking about the game in general I'm not trying to dismiss you I'm just saying that you know these videos exist just for your question I've got that question answered baby what is the end game couldn't tell you I have no idea but I can tell you there is a new game plus there is indeed a new game plus in this reviews are kind of mid but I've been watching for three hours and the game looks great so here's the thing when it comes to Mid the scoring system is heavily skewed you would think a 5 out of 10 would be a middle score but people consider like a seven or sometimes even an 8 out of 10 a middle score which is not right to me and so I personally just kind of ignore that stuff I I would say I would I would say rather is it a game that people would recommend to you and you know this game I would say is highly recommended I would recommend this game to people for sure but the way scoring systems work for most reviewers these days are heavily skewed in a very bad way any bugs so far uh we actually just had our first crash a little bit ago my first crash after about 88 and a half hours of playthrough uh playtime rather here's our Outpost and then there has been some like small like janky bugs like with some characters anyone hear anyone watching I'm taking these credits doink but as far as like your usual Bethesda stuff there's been very minimal bugs very minimal s right now okay good talk man I don't know why you told me that my mom helped Builder Outpost Isn't that cool nice dude I'm proud of what we've built here everyone wants to live in a flashy City so at a lot of these civilian outposts you don't really find anything spectacular but depending on what you're doing in your playthrough you can kind of you know have some fun out of it don't don't do that to me a Reuben yeah you only find a whole lot of great stuff here but what I was trying to say is oftentimes that civilian Outpost like this you can find like a traitor of some kind of like sell stuff to them which is kind of cool this is the Bethesda game I'm about to ask are the kids Immortal uh I don't truly know I've not really gone around atmosphere expanded and it expanded so much that it started to leak very quickly off the planet and over the course of about 50 years the entire atmosphere left Earth and because of that the citizens of Earth had to mass evacuate over that course of 50 years you take your mask off on earth oh we could we could but it won't go well or gasping for air or a little dizzy or blacking out we need our helmet we're blacking out yeah this isn't great [Music] and because I took environmental damage you can see my health on the bottom right reduced my Max Health a little bit that yellow means that I cannot heal beyond that points and uh yeah we do have some some things that we can go check out still but you know for the most part Earth is a Barren planet how do you look like a zombie the screen where we've discovered two out of the five of the available resources on the planet so while we're going from objective to objective on the planet we're gonna go check all this out yeah you see how I discovered that storm crater and now that it's like a thing that's white and we know what it is we can fast travel to it so you can fast travel to locations that you've already discovered but you can't fast travel the things that you've not discovered yet there's some Mercury surely putting some mercury in my pocket's a good idea surely the level up sounds kind of Epic but loud yeah that's pretty on par for Bethesda right I mean remember the uh the level up noise in Skyrim it went [Laughter] just like someone like slowly like getting louder progressively in your ear pretty on points for Bethesda it's been a century why not go back and build on it well I mean you can see what the planet has left going on it's you know sand and rocks when it comes to civilization they'll often go to places that make more sense that's why you select all the cities in this game are generally in more livable areas with a couple of exceptions and then on the barren planets you'll see like civilian outposts and settlements but not a whole lot of major stuff humans generally center around more livable situations doesn't mean you can't live in deserts and you can't live in like Tundras and whatnot of course we do that here on Earth already but when you have a wide choice of different planets to live on you're probably going to go for things that are more middle of the road right especially when you have grab drives that allow you to get to them quickly when you get to smoke the cigarette on the right oh my God it does look like a cigarette doesn't it [Laughter] even think about that till now that I think it's okay for a game to not be centered around that I think every individual experience should be treated as such an individual experience but also let's talk about bethesda's previous multiplayer experiences Fallout 76 and then what was the other one that had like dudes with guns sliding around everywhere uh I want to say it started with a B I can't remember the name of it just now they're uh bethesda's multiplayer experiences haven't really done too well man being able to raid other players is just unmatched to NPC experience then go play something like rust man those games exist already Anthem no that's BioWare well this sludge pool had nothing as you guys can see there's not a whole lot of value here on Earth now [Music] are you joking Elder Scrolls Online I mean sure that's a decent experience but you know I'm not saying it's bad but I wouldn't say like compared to a lot of other MMOs that are out there that it's like the best I'm not saying you can't enjoy what you uh what you do surely but let's be honest their single player stuff has a much better track record than their multiplayer stuff and it's not even close scumbro rust in the past as DayZ rust has a larger player base than both of those games I wouldn't bash on Rust dog but also isn't that more zenimax than it is Bethesda granted that they're like it's like Bethesda umbrellas them essentially but that's not like Bethesda Studios yeah 10 year olds I don't know what to tell you man not every game is going to be like that not every game is going to be a multiplayer survival game I don't know I no you grab jump in between systems and then when you click on another planet your ship will automatically fly to it let's get out of the Soul system let's go for there's Barnard star the pup Tau seti HUD yeah I can do that real quick let me undock all right so you can see here in the middle of the screen this is our targeting area in order to Target an enemy ship they have to be within this circle okay you can also do this from first person if you would like very much so let's start with the bottom left on the bottom left you have your speed for keyboard and mouse you control that speed with w and S as is normal and then you for A and D this kind of like revolves your ship around the you know the center axis of it on the horizontal plane to turn your ship you just move your mouse in a direction that you want to turn it to as you can see and then on the top left those are you know on the top left the top and the top right those are my different weapon systems on Mouse 2 this here is my Canon it's my ballistic cannon on the top middle are my missiles and in the top right is my lasers and then on the bottom right is the Boost so what what we'll do is we'll go really fast we'll put our speed all the way up it looks like my top speed is 74. if I use boost it kicks that up all the way up to 270 or 297 is what I saw at Max and so that is the Hut there on the bottom right that is the the Whole Health the white bar is moisture yeah the hit points of your Hull if that hits zero you die above that that number 100 with that uh that wavy stuff going around the picture of the ship that is your Shield if your Shield hits zero your hole starts to take damage on the bottom left those are your systems you have starting from left to right lasers ballista Cannon missile engine shield and grab drive on the bottom all the way at the bottom where it says 0 14 on that bar that is how much extra power you have if I press the down arrows on all these systems it fills up the power on the bottom but it takes away all my Power Systems you see how my shield is offline and you see how my my Canon missile and Laser all say zero is because they have no power now you can actually choose what you put Power into if we power up the engines for example I can now move again see that and the more power you put in it the faster you can go if I put some more power back into the shield it goes back up because I only put one point in the shield the max Shield health is 33. if I go up again it becomes 66 if I put all three bars up it goes to 100. if I power up the grab drive it allows me to be able to travel system to system using the grav engine or the grav drive and the more power I put into it the faster the grab Drive can charge I generally only just leave it at one I you know it only takes a few seconds it's really not a big deal and then of course the more power you put into your weapon systems means the faster they charge so that you can continue to fire them the more power you put in them the faster they fire and the faster they recharge rather not fire the faster they recharge so weapon systems that being more powered up allows you to continue to fire on your targets like crazy anyway let's go to The Alchemist what ship Park grants power that would be the reactor all right let's board yep you need bigger reactors yep but something that a lot of people are going to struggle with in this game when you want to build a better ship you need to do certain things you have to level up certain things in your Tech Tree namely piloting because some ships require uh you know some ship systems require better piloting skill and then the other one is right here Starship design you actually need to level up Starship design so that way your character knows how to use certain parts of ships as well the stronger or higher tier or higher class the parts the higher level your Starship level and your piloting might need to be all right so here we are on the alga mass
