SPRING CLEAN WITH ME | entire house deep cleaning & extreme cleaning motivation 2023

foreign [Music] make yourself your favorite hot or cold drink I've got an iced coffee today and get comfortable or actually even pop me on the TV and we can clean together get cleaning get your get your mop bucket out get your minky out your Scrub Daddy and let's get clean I hope today's video gives you some motivation I needed lots of motivation before tackling the whole house today but let me tell you now I'm sat here with my cup of tea the house is spotless I am feeling good there truly is no better feeling than the clean house feeling it smells so funny so I wanted to let you know that cleaning videos first things first I am stripping the bed so I can wash the bed sheets because it's fresh bed sheet Monday oh that might be my new jingle this is something I like to do before actually starting to clean so by the time I'm finished I've got a few wash loads done I have quite a few to get done today as ever The Never Ending washing pile is well never ending and yeah there's something very satisfying about getting loads of washing done in one day or is that just me am I getting old I get really excited when it's a sunny day like one of my first thoughts are oh washing day as I can get so many loads on the washing line anyone else [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] okay before we get into it just wanted to share with you the spring cleaning products I'm going to be using today I picked these up from Home Bargains last week was very excited to see there was lots of spring scents things first new zoflorescence I got the springtime one of course also spotted a new scent which looks very summery Sunshine Escape I got some so Flora wipes lemon zing of course I feel like that is the scent of the spring and then I also got the sunshine Escape one mainly because it matched matched the actual so floor I just love I love a matching cleaning product um and then I got some scented bin bags what a time to be alive we've got some lemon Splash little foam and fresh toilet bits for the upstairs toilet foaming toilet clean I've never used anything like that so I'm excited to see what that's like love anything from the pink stuff the Lenore gold Orchid gold Orchid is one of my favorite scents and then the Unstoppable I picked out some Lenore crease release in Summer Breeze for the bed sheets when they're clean because ain't nobody got time to be ironing bed sheets from Springtime so Flora spray can you tell I love so Flora also loved that those two matched as well and then for something I was so excited about the flash French soap scent is my favorite ever this was a scent that I craved when I was pregnant like this is my pregnancy craving scent and I just I think it smells so oh just lovely and fresh so I'm really excited to clean with this today the housekeepers here just filling up her cleaning caddy with all of her new spring products this cleaning caddy is great I think I got it from Matalan a while ago but it's so much easier to just carry around the house to each room as always we are starting in the kitchen today which was a mess I was embarrassed to show you guys how messy it had gotten over the weekend but whenever I'm having like a cleaning day I will always start in the kitchen I find it's the room that needs the most love and I really feel just really motivated once the kitchen's done I know that it's like a really big job ticked off my to-do list feeling so small watch the clock ticking off the wall but tonight [Music] I'm gonna be myself or I could be someone else no one's stopping me now I'm gonna skip my breaks I'm gonna make mistakes I just wanna feel alive it's just what I do when I'm out so trying not to hold me down [Music] once I had cleared the kitchen sides it felt like I had a nice clean slate to get cleaning so before I got into cleaning I just did a candle this is the Yankee Candle calm and quiet place which is one of my favorite scents it's a really cozy homely sense then I just loaded up the dishwasher and put that load on this is something else I like to do because then the dishes can wash whilst I'm doing the kitchen and usually by the time I've finished cleaning the kitchen I can then pop all the dishes away [Music] blow the smoke through my cigarette [Music] I'm gonna be myself or I could be someone else no one's stopping me now I'm gonna skip my breaks I'm gonna make mistake I also had the oven dish of Doom to clean this Urban dish is honestly just such a nightmare do you guys have any like oven dish cleaning tips because no matter how much I scrub this thing even with my strongest of strongest scrub daddies it always like looks grubby so if you guys leave me some tips down below I will feature one of them in my next cleaning video and we'll put it to the test and see how well it works [Music] time to clean the sink and I got to use my flash French soap spray which I was so excited about but it didn't smell the same I think because it's with lavender it smelled really good like it's not really fresh but it wasn't that French soap scent that I was craving have any of you guys used it oh I just cleaned the sink with my flash and my Scrub Daddy this does the job perfectly and I've got this like round Scrub Daddy you know you can get lots of different shapes this one's great for the plug hole because you can like push it into the plug hole and rotate it as you can see and it just gives it a really good buff and makes the plug hole like really shiny and clean [Music] [Music] I'm gonna be someone else I'm gonna skip my breaks I'm gonna make mistakes I'm gonna skip my breaks I'm gonna make mistakes I'm gonna make mistakes [Music] then I just removed the excess product with the soft side of my minky and then dried it with a microfiber cloth I find this gives it A really lovely shine then one of my favorite cleaning hacks ever which if you haven't tried you must try fill your sink up with some hot water or you can even use boiling water from the kettle which works so well with two capfuls of zoflora scent of your choice and this will make your entire house smell it's such a good little hack moving on to the hob I am so thankful that we have an electric hob because cleaning gas ones used to be the bane of my life so this is just super simple I just give it a spray with flash and then I go over it with my Scrub Daddy just to get any stubborn stubborn bits off and then I'll go over again with the soft side of my minky just to remove all the excess product and give it a buff with my microfiber cloth [Music] did all these thoughts are running yelling Catch Me If You Can and I'm wondering if I should chase behind the staff wondering and try to take a stand oh and they keep asking where the hell I'm gone away time is gonna take me oh I'm just trying to take my time [Music] I'm dreaming in my coffee steaming [Music] and colder with time and I'm wondering it may be all this streaming is [Music] [Music] gonna take so I'm just trying to take my time [Music] for the kitchen sides I am using some of my warm diluted so floral water which we made in the sink a little while ago this is brilliant for the kitchen sides I'll also go for the cupboards as well it's surprising how dirty the actual cabinets get like I find when I'm going real close to them there's like little splodges of food which I've never seen before so I like to do this every once in a while and I find that it so Flora works really well with wood like it just it makes it smell for ages so just going over all of the cabinets and the worktops [Music] yeah I'll stay stay just wait wait wait also tell me that it's gonna be all right it's gonna be just gonna take me well I'm just gonna take then once I've hoovered I'm just filling up my spray mop with some of the lemon zing so far just a tiny bit in there with again some more water spray mop is my favorite ever it's from Amazon I will link as much as I can down below of what I'm using today because quite a lot of the bits are from Amazon but I find it doesn't leave your floor too wet like it dries really quickly which is great if you just want to have like a quick once over of your floor and yeah I find that the pad on it makes the floors really nice and shiny as well thank you [Music] this baby where we came don't want to throw it all away as shattered moments fall in vain you pick the pieces [Music] well I guess that's what it's worth occurs [Music] [Music] and goes it's just like what I told you so eckling she failed to turn away and found a reason for this after giving the living room a little freshen up I decided to try the reusable limp roller that you guys would have seen in my recent b m haul and it was so good it made the sofa look brand new it picked up so much dust and cat hair and I felt like it was just so much easier than using the Hoover so I would highly recommend this if you see this in a local b m and it's great because after you've used it you can literally run it under the tap give it a little wash and it's brand new again foreign [Music] [Music] another one of my favorite cleaning hacks is in your cushions on your sofa or your cushions on your bed or your cushions wherever you have cushions pop one of these Lenore tumble dryer sheets inside the cushion cover smells amazing especially if you have guests coming over such like a quick easy way to make your house smell so good thank you [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] what was broken [Music] [Music] cause my time is running out [Music] [Music] baby someday when I've grown older oh I can see it all I am just about to head into the bathroom of Doom which is actually pretty messy this week um but I just have a little random recommendation for you guys so I've listened to my podcast watched a few episodes of Married at First Sight and now I fancy some like chilled feel good music if you guys haven't heard of Luke Combs I'm sure so many of you have but if you're just looking for like acoustic covers feel good country music that just makes you feel cozy and there's something about this that makes me feel so nostalgic then would highly recommend Luke Combs I'm currently listening to the oh what's that fast car cover and it just it makes me so happy yeah yeah [Music] we stepped into my life such a magic feeling we tore down my walls [Music] I wish I could go back right before you told me I tried to change it all but look at us now it could have gone so far it hurts to realize okay starting with the bath again I'm using my slash French soap spray this is getting predictable now as I've been using this throughout the day I feel like I'm loving it more and more each time I spray it like I feel like the lavender is just really very calming and I'm using a new purchase from Amazon which is this giant sponge it's brilliant so good for the bath so good for the shower makes it so much quicker like strangers [Music] so you're just giving the bath a good scrub and then just a little rinse and then I am using this is a cloth from minky it's called the window and glass cloth and it's fabulous for anything shiny or anything Chrome that you have in your home that rhymes you don't need any product all you need to do is give it a good buff and it'll be so shiny and oh my goodness I just saw my face in this top and it looked so funny [Music] The Strangers again I thought we'd never fall could have tried much harder [Music] up in heaven [Music] could have gone so far [Music] so for the toilet I am just giving the outside of the toilet a quick once over with some so floral wipes just to freshen it up and then I'm just popping a little bit of sorry Flora in the toilet brush holder this makes your bathroom smell really nice and then obviously every time you use your toilet brush it gives the toilet a disinfect and then I am using the pink stuff foaming toilet cleaner guys this is one of my new favorite cleaning products it worked so well you simply tip it into the toilet look how foamy it is it's so satisfying and then all you need to do is just give it a little bit of a scrub with your toilet brush and then leave it for 10 to 15 minutes [Music] so whilst the toilet is doing its thing I decided to clean the plug hole which just gets so dirty I've always had a problem with my shower where it always gets blocked and fills up looks like this lovely again I'm just using my flash and also this little power cleaning tool from Amazon which is great for areas like this anything that needs a really good scrub and you're feeling lazy and you want to do it by hand whip this out it's brilliant [Music] no strangers then I decided it wasn't as clean as I wanted it to be so I bought out the Big Daddy the big daddy is the pink stuff in the pots paste it's brilliant if you have anything in your home that's stubborn to clean use some of this on a Scrub Daddy and it will work I actually had a star Scrub Daddy as you guys can see from Christmas and the little points of the style were brilliant to get in between the bits on my plug so this did the job perfectly and made it really lovely and clean and got rid of all of like the soap scum um and all of like the yucky bits in the plush [Music] time to get my head up again he said that you had to try to forget you just didn't think we'd end up this way like strangers time to go back to the toilet as you can see the foam has kind of like shrunk and I just gave it another little clean with a toilet brush and then flush the toilet oh my goodness it was so clean like sparkling clean and then I just popped some duck Pine in the toilet because I love the scent of this [Music] and then for the shower I'm using the Flash I'm using my big sponge and I'm just really buffing the product into the glass if you guys have a glass shower like glass doors on your shower would highly recommend getting a squeegee oh my goodness that makes such a difference just to get all of the water off once you've rinsed your shower makes it look so lovely and clean with no watermarks no smears [Music] we're talking to each other I know we feel the same about the situation like we're stuck inside again time to get out of this circle yeah we both carrying a scarf as we ride the park we're pleased starts with us taking the chance not like anything we've done before or or yeah now it's time for something on to the rest of the upstairs heading into the bedroom I decided to give the mattress and the duvet and the pillows just a little bit of a refresh with the Febreze fabric refresher and then I went round the room gave the mirror a dust and a clean with my window and glass spray I also went over the bedside tables with just as though Flora wipe and gave them a little dust they didn't really need too much doing to them and then the console at the end of the bed I just used my duster again and my zoflora spray with my minky just to freshen it all up [Music] wake me up I'm getting tired of sleep [Music] it's pretty clear to me kind of stranger can take a Beat foreign [Music] [Music] on my hide ous decisions [Music] [Music] I guess nobody [Music] yet I'm looking for Faith looking for love in every direction [Music] but I'm still stuck with some tough decisions after giving Noah's Nursery a little dust I like to avoid using any cleaning products in here I then decided just to give his wardrobe a little bit of an organized there are a few random bits of clothes just in there and I really like to try and stay on top of this just so it doesn't get out of hand and I also gave his nappy caddy a little bit of a refill which is weirdly one of my favorite things to do I find it so satisfying [Music] now I'm up against [Music] me [Music] lights flashing the dark I know you're coming back aiming at my heart and these things never come from me easily no now I think I'm ready I think I'm ready ready [Music] [Music] fols now tell me are you ready are you ready ready [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] I will now there's no looking back now there's no looking back you got me falling fast falling fast [Music] Give It Up [Music] by the time I headed downstairs the bedding was all done so it's just time to pop it in the tumble dryer with one of my tumble dryer sheets and I popped the next load of washing in at this point as well [Music] oh [Music] another new favorite from Amazon is this metal lint roller if you have pets you need this in your life we are forever hoovering our stairs but there's always always always cat hair still on them and I use this for the first time today and I was so impressed with it it picks up so much hair bearing in mind I had hoovered the stairs before I did this so this just goes to show how much dust and hair and other little bits and Bobs are in the stairs so yeah I was so impressed with this and I'm also going to use this on other bits of carpet that I just find collect a lot of cat hair [Music] life is a Winding Road telling where it goes [Music] driving through days and nights won't stop for traffic light and by the time I'd finished limp rolling the stairs and doing a few other bits the bedding was all clean so I made the bed and as I was making the bed I used some of my Lenore crease release in the Summer Breeze sense this works so well on bedding I simply spray a little bit on and then almost like waft the quilt and like pull it and it just irons out most of the creases we do have linen bedding so it's never going to be like completely crease free but if you have cotton bedding or you like your bedding to be like super crease free then I'd recommend doing this over a door and leaving it to dry [Music] well with the roll Coast even if I'm falling down I will keep on searching for my eyes [Music] even the sky is falling down foreign [Music] Men last job of the day was hanging my next load of washing out so many of you guys ask where my drying wreck is from is brilliant I got it from Amazon like everything else and it's so good because it's collapsible it's really easy to put up and down it has wheels which is so handy like you can wheel it round um and it's just really spacious as well and I find everything dries really nicely on it I feel really sad saying that I do find some errors make your clothes smell of damp so yeah this one is really great anyway my loves that is all of my to-do's ticked off my to-do list today feeling good the house feels amazing and yeah I really really hope you enjoyed cleaning with me today hope it gave you some motivation and I can't wait to see you for my
