these are Spongebob's best episodes of all time the third one being chocolate with nuts that has a rating of 9.5 this episode starts off with SpongeBob sitting in his mailbox waiting for his mail he receives a magazine called Fancy living digest that focuses on showing how upper class fish live this completely amazes SpongeBob and Patrick making they want a taste of this lifestyle they go to Squidward asking how these fish came across so much success Squidward then mentions entrepreneurship the act of buying things for less and selling for more SpongeBob and Patrick immediately begin brainstorming SpongeBob asked Patrick if he could have anything in the world what would it be and they Circle to find an idea until Patrick says a chocolate bar this is when they decide they will become rich by selling bars of chocolate they head to their first house in hopes of making their first sale but are instead met with a Crazy Fish violently screaming chocolate which startles them and sends them running this fish seems like a gag character but he's actually very important to the episode and I'll explain why later anyways they head to another house where they unluckily find a skilled businessman who tricks them into buying bags to store their chocolate bars when they arrive at the next house we notice that it's the same exact fish who live next door this fish obviously owns multiple properties and and uses this to scam SpongeBob and Patrick the businessman somehow manipulates SpongeBob and Patrick into buying larger bags to hold the small ones he already sold them which will come back to haunt them later they finally stumble across a nice fish they hope to sell some chocolate to SpongeBob leads with the hey we're selling chocolate bars would you like to buy one and they actually almost manage to land their first sale but since they have so many bags they can't even find the chocolate and the lady gets impatient and they lose the sale this is where the chocolate guy makes his second appearance and chases SpongeBob and Patrick away after this SpongeBob and Patrick start to lose motivation because they don't know what they're doing wrong they head over to the diner and reflect on how the businessman sold them the bags and try to learn from him SpongeBob and Patrick realized that the fish made them feel special which enticed them into making the sale with their newly found sales knowledge SpongeBob and Patrick approach their next house as soon as the door opens Patrick goes I love you which freaks the guy out and he slams the door but it's okay because the fish hated chocolate anyways even though SpongeBob and Patrick thought they found the key to closing a sale they still have no success not until they see an advertisement for Barnacle chips which makes them realize they should probably stretch the truth so with this new strategy SpongeBob and Patrick arriv at the home of a very elderly fish and her daughter SpongeBob and Patrick believe they are doing really well but the older lady says she hates chocolate upon hearing this they quickly proclaimed that the chocolate will make her younger so she immediately buys one and they successfully close their first sale having now achieved their winning formula we see SpongeBob and Patrick go on a huge selling spree lying to customers about various effects their chocolate has but all this ends when they stumble upon the same guy from before even with the new strategy you can't beat a master at his own game and he ends up scamming SpongeBob and Patrick into buying even more chocolate at a loss SpongeBob and Patrick began to head home with all this chocolate this is where the crazy guy who's been chasing them all episode approaches them kindly stating I like to buy all your chocolate the ending scene shows SM and Patrick using all their money to rent out a fancy restaurant and take the old ladies on a date this episode from start to finish had a clear goal plot and an amazing plot twist at the end we start off with the goal smob and Patrick want to get rich then we get a why they want to get rich because they want to live fancy and then we get a how they're going to sell chocolates this leaves the audience wondering if SP and Patrick are going to be able to achieve this goal on top of this clear plot line the episode introduces many memorable iconic characters the crazy chocolate fish is a genius plot to his because the context clues lead you to believe he's just a crazy man trying to steal their chocolate but he actually turns out to be their highest profit sale the businessman is the clear antagonist SL rival of the episode scamming SpongeBob and Patrick at every corner displaying the gap of experience towards what SpongeBob and Patrick are trying to achieve with great pacing a roller coaster a failure and successes and some of the most iconic jokes in SpongeBob it's really no question why this episode is ranked so highly and what's crazy is the next two episodes will also follow a similar structure the next episode is K crusty crab training video with the rating of 9.5 the episode starts off by congratulating us for our new position at the Crusty Crab restaurant the first thing we learn is the humble beginning of Mr Krabs we see him as a child literally scamming a vending machine with a quarter tied to a string this immediately brings his greedy personality to light this is also where we learned that Mr Krabs was a veteran in the war and this caused him to be extremely depressed to take his mind off his time served he purchased a retirement home called The Rusty crab and completely transforms it into the iconic restaurant it is today we then get to learn about the Crusty Crab in the present day and see that Mr Krabs can tend to ere exaggerate referring to a spatula as a advanced Patty control mechanism and an Ice Cube as a highquality beverage control device the trading video Then goes over the qualities of a good employee highlighting SpongeBob successes and bashing Squidward now we get to the fun part the actual training this is where SpongeBob asks when he'll be able to cook a crabby patty the narrator tells SpongeBob he cannot cook until he understands poop which of course stands for people ordering Our Patties we then get some real life examples of working at the Crusty Crab highlighting that people only go there for Krabby Patties SpongeBob gets excited and impatient about cooking a crabby patty but the narrator literally swats him as if he's a fly you see SpongeBob can't start cooking without kn knowing about personal hygiene first this leads us to another part in the training video where they rudely compare SpongeBob to Squidward but we also see some passive aggression as a narrator command SpongeBob around this is where we get to see a glimpse into the narrator's own personality after learning how to talk to your boss which is just a scene of SpongeBob asking for a raise and getting rejected Patrick walks in and starts to freak out proc claiming that the ceiling is talking to him this makes us question the narrator's identity either Patrick is just silly and couldn't see the person talking or something really fishy is going on anyways Patrick makes sber look bad a common theme for the episode episode and we get to learn about emergencies which is pretty much planked in trying to steal the kby P formula SpongeBob also almost lets him get away but Mr Krabs caught him as he's used to this congrats you have officially learned the ins and outs of being employed at the Crusty Crab and the episode ends just as they're about to show us how to make a Krabby Patty which is actually a pretty genius way to end it what I love about this episode is that it puts us in the perspective that we are living in the world of SpongeBob and just got hired of the Crusty crap I also appreciate the fact that they show the origin and explain why Mr Krabs bought it and how he transformed it into what it is today the episode also does amazing at outlining the Dynamic for the entire show you could show this episode to someone who's never seen SpongeBob before and immediately they pick up that SpongeBob is an overly energetic hard worker squid is miserable and doesn't really enjoy being there Mr Krabs is a greedy underpaying boss and Plankton makes constant attempts at stealing Mr Krabs recipe But ultimately always fails this episode unlike the one before has a clear plot as we read the title there is a goal established in this episode making a Krabby Patty which makes you want to keep watching to see if SP will ever achieve this goal we even have a few fourth wall breaks through Patrick and sc's interactions it makes you question the entire episode as a whole overall this episode was amazing and I enjoyed watching it I really loved how immersing and fun it was and finally the best SpongeBob episode of all time with an amazing rating of 9.7 Band Geeks the iconic episode begins with SC practicing his clarinet when his doorbell rings and he is greeted by a veterinarian who claims he received a call about a dying animal right after this Squidward's Arch anist Squam fancy and calls him and proclaims I hear you have a dying animal to attend to which is very suspicious anyways he tells Squidward that he was supposed to perform at the bubble bow but he can't make it so he offers Squidward his place since he's busy it might appear as though Squam is trying to do Squidward a favor but his true intent is to publicly humiliate Squidward he even planned the phone call and sent the vet to his house to drop Squidward's confidence he also makes fun of him working out a custy crab which makes Squidward feel like he has to accept this huge offer presented to him the bubble bow is pretty much the Super Bowl of this universe so it's a pretty huge deal this leads us to the main problem of the episode Squidward does not even have a band it must assemble one in under a week which is pretty much impossible so squid puts up a bunch of Flyers begins his attempt at assembling a band however the people who came to his practice are all normal people who have no musical experience or Talent he asked the group if any of them play instruments to which Plankton asked if instruments of torture count and Patrick asked if mayonnaise is an instrument no Patrick mayonnaise is not an instrument well anyways they begin to play and it sounded a little like this yeah so squibber tries to have him tap their feet to the Rhythm and this results in a huge brawl the rest of the episode feels somewhat hopeless as squibber has no hope of training these Nob budes into musical Talent squibber eventually gives up and has an emotional monologue about how his one chance at success is ruined and this motivates SpongeBob in the entire band to pull an all nighter in practice but how much can one night of practice really do well I guess we'll see squid shows up to the bubble bow with no hope no group and of course Squam starts gloating thinking his plan is going to be a success SRAM still gloats even after seeing the group show up but he was in for the performance of a lifetime the second they hid the stage the band blows away expectations and they deliver one of the best musical performances in the world of SpongeBob and Squam faints from shock I like this episode because we get to see a happy character who is not usually happy most episodes of SpongeBob leaves Squidward depressed and suffering so it was a nice change of pace for him to have his own happy ending the episode is rated highly for good reason first off most episodes focus on SpongeBob as a main character but this episode took a different approach and we got to see from Squidward's perspective Squidward is a very private person and most of us just know him as SpongeBob's rude sad neighbor however this episode allows us to see him in a new light Squidward is miserable because his true pth is music and instead of following his dream he's stuck working at a job he's miserable at the episode finally gives sbert a taste of the musical success he so long desired much like the other episodes this episode follows a clear plot line and goal Squidward wants to prove Squam wrong and deliver an amazing performance then we meet a problem Squidward's ban is not very good at all so now we are all curious to how the performance will turn out the pacing of the plot is good as well delivering some of the most iconic jokes such as Patrick's famous line is mayonnaise an instrument and the performance at the end shocked everyone even viewers this episode is a masterpiece and the song of at the end still gives me chills to this day but I don't know I don't know I'm just watching [Music] TV
