free kicks that we do concede and being organized is one way that we can not totally ensure it but certainly cut the cut the danger down a little bit do you agree with that how long do we get how long do we get to organize we give a free kick on the edge of the box how many seconds does it take for us should it take for us to organize a war no longer in five right if we know what we're doing you more than five players in the wall but it's critical to also have a player who threatens the ball so a maximum of five in the war but also another player who threatens the short ball in cases anyway between this cone and the end line we need one man in the wall okay one man anywhere further up between these two cones two men is a good gauge okay from here to there anyway around here three men your privates but what i'm saying is listen if you're going to be the guy who's going to do this and turn around is afraid of the ball i'd rather find that out before the game wouldn't agree yeah if the goalkeeper just happened right there one of the dangers the goalkeeper setting up the wall is he's giving him instructions players turn around to see what he wants and what might happen bang free kick so watch carefully nikki come in here and you're screaming and shouting and everything watch carefully all you need to do okay from your position as a goalkeeper you don't need to be screaming saying oh yeah you're going in there to make sure there's no short pass and you close anything down it's dangerous guys we'll on on wednesday we'll get into your positioning behind the ball so we're getting in here and marking vital spaces in behind the ball but one thing if you are make sure that you are in line with the post so if it comes you know you're not outside you're not defending outside the post in here where it goes in you take a line from that post with the ball so you can stop any ball coming into the back post does that make sense yeah so we're framing the goal i'm gonna make it easy for you guys knock the ball around if you go knock a ball around the square anywhere you want move around you got five seconds to get organized move around move around move around charlie come on get your feet going get your feet going three let's get it back off quicker back off quicker threaten the ball johnny you're threatening the ball this way this way stop that's all you need to do so they're not turning around quickly bang take a position look at the back post can you see the back post you don't want to be here and leaving that back post open for a shot okay in a five-man wall you're always number one you're always number two yours number three yours number four yours number five that only applies okay um if we have five men in a wall are four men in the wall all right all right after that when we start getting out wider we don't really need a big men out here we need them in there don't we yeah yeah but we do need that big man here for that bent ball that's coming in into the crossbar so let me have a look if we need one man in the wall it's always going to be you either side if we need two it's always going to be you three it's you three if we need more than
