[Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] okay hundreds of millions of records sold a pop icon a movie star not only is he a rap Superstar he owns the label that gave him his first name again [Applause] [Music] [Music] how did you know them hoes was leaving at six in the moment mama was coming back at seven come on so I had to make sure I got him out see I had a I had [ __ ] in the living room my mama wasn't home if you watch the video mom's told a [ __ ] look I'll be back don't handle them fast tell girls up in here and definitely don't have a dog down in here as soon as she left I bam had them all up in there but I had a stopwatch on and say hey man we got to get up here but then we stopped looking at the clock and we was partying the mama came home the mother came home and pop shot the party everybody out everybody all right we want to take it all the way back because everybody who's a real hip-hop fan know that we got the Snoop Dogg debut on the Deep Cover sandwich like that yeah yeah so what year was that [ __ ] what year was that 92 91 92 May 92 got my Hip Hop's historian in the house I was born say that I brought him here for for breakfast and dates and research purposes young and fresh back then jumping it out with the Deep Cover soundtrack and you don't stop come on man hey man hit this [ __ ] thank you 5-0 been dealing with you for two and a half months you ain't hit this [ __ ] yet [Applause] what you're saying today right did I go deep on him oh hell yeah went deep on the movie scene like come on so it's like we saw you become a rap star and a movie star and now now we're seeing you become a [ __ ] label owner right the labor they gave you your chance man how you gonna pick that up and keep that torch going you know what it was like I've done so much in this music industry it was like I had forgot about my legacy I was so far ahead of it to where I was doing things and working with different musicians and spanning different genres then I had to think back to myself I was like damn I don't own doggy style I don't own a dog father them my first two records that's like my my two feet to stand though so I'm like I gotta figure out how to get that [ __ ] back so for many months and should I try to position myself as a businessman to go try to work it off like you know the people that had it hey let me come work for y'all and you know position myself to get my [ __ ] back through Labor right and then they wanted me to be a hoe so you know the pimping [ __ ] yeah I'm gonna go over to Def Jam and learn a little bit of corporate work because I don't know corporate yet right I only need a few months right you give me a few months around the [ __ ] I'm a fast learner go to devjab and get a job in the position drop a record get Benny The Butcher son get Hip Hop Harry son learn a few tricks of the trade find out that the [ __ ] that had it that wanted me to hold for him then sold it to some other people so now one of my big wig buddies called me and say hey dog I know the people that got that from and they don't know what to do with it let me holler at him I know just what to do with it so I hit them like let me um let me work for y'all the play was cool but it's like yeah [ __ ] that how much how much to buy this [ __ ] you talking about how much to buy Death Row first how much for my masters how much for all of the Masters how much for sure publisher give me all that [ __ ] stick up hey man now I've been following the place so the first thing you did was took all the music down it ain't up now right [ __ ] see because it's a business right seeing what [ __ ] don't understand is that thing that thing they call stream right how much money you get a string something okay so you want to restructure this [ __ ] you get a penny point of a penny that's what we're gonna do we're gonna restructure this [ __ ] right I'm gonna pull it down when I put it back up you're gonna pay me a whole lot to put it up then my number is going to look different than everybody else is going to come back up if not I'll hold on to it and I create my own app just like Disney and stars and Hulu and 85 so you know we got out hello and it will be a death row app where you can get it here and your membership and your subscription will get you all access to it whenever you want to so however you want to play with me I'll play back right and then do you do you what you buying all of the masses and getting all the music back do you have stuff that hasn't been released oh yes a couple of Records that's unreleased and then I'm working with Tupac's estate right now because I got a great relationship with the people that's in control of his estate and we're doing some things together so and then uh Dr Dre's chronic album you know that's back in his possession now [Applause] do that to like to to get the label back was the ship but to be able to break bread with the people that put you on like okay this is yours cousin then now next is to make sure like jazz and corrupt and rage and RBX make sure they publishing and [ __ ] is right and the numbers just squared away because in the beginning [ __ ] wasn't right but we know what's right and now if I control it it's my job to make sure that it's it's right correct it you know what I'm saying and that's what they're doing position to see what you did like you said you didn't know corporate learn you like still into this day till this day in your time in your career you're still learning in a game that you've been in I came in the studio that's the first thing I came in as a student if you really watched my career I was a student I was studying the industry and then when I got in with Dre I was his I was just like I said right there what he learned and I didn't want to I didn't want the star I wanted to make him a star listen to The Chronic it was all about him that's a lot of my penmanship a lot of my direction and mostly his production his overseeing but it was about him it was about putting the energy in the doctor train we all was about him like [ __ ] that we want Dre to be the dopest ever then when it was my turn he gave me that same energy back but then at the same time I was in control of the pen for myself so it was just a beautiful marriage did y'all know at that time when y'all was creating a chronic and doggy style did y'all know as you was creating it that it was going to end up being what it was ended up being or did you just know you had something special I think like that was like my first real experience but Dre had been around magic before he had been with the Wrecking Crew Eazy-E NWA Michelle Lake doc Ice Cube like he had he he knew what [ __ ] felt like when it was a [ __ ] well he was just we was just some [ __ ] from the hood that was like [ __ ] that [ __ ] banging and every time we knew [ __ ] was banging whether it was our [ __ ] or other a [ __ ] it was the [ __ ] so it's like now we picture in like a Run DMC album or [ __ ] whoever the [ __ ] is hot at the time we figuring like [ __ ] our [ __ ] sound better than that [ __ ] and with no disrespect right but it's like when you're listening to it and you making this like damn this [ __ ] had to look like right now when [ __ ] making hot music they knowing who [ __ ] is like [ __ ] when you in the studio when [ __ ] in that [ __ ] this [ __ ] [ __ ] everybody [ __ ] up that's what that was and at that time it wasn't as clogged up as it is now right now you got 30 000 records that come out every day right did you hear the number I just said yes I did 30 000 records that come out every day every day back then it was probably like [ __ ] look at a thousand records come out a month yeah because you had to go get them [ __ ] back then all of these [ __ ] [ __ ] like [ __ ] you can't be bullshitting that can't and guess what two [ __ ] Can't sound alike yeah how was Michael and Prince gonna survive if they sounded like let me ask you this like looking back in hindsight all these years later East Coast West Coast the beef the media part what the [ __ ] was that uh how much do you think that costs the hip-hop Community just looking back at the total damage that that [ __ ] do that the media do their job that's their job I always say all publicity is good publicity when they come to me I know how to maximize that [ __ ] everybody else don't so they just do their job their job is to keep up confusion and to keep [ __ ] the way they want it to be but now like I say y'all growing up in a different area [ __ ] y'all are the media based off of a podcast Instagram fan base that's the media we didn't have that control [ __ ] when we said something they printed what they wanted to print they print half of what we said it took you six months to see what they wrote I mean there's no Outlets where we could just grab our phones and be like man [ __ ] this [ __ ] this [ __ ] ain't paying me my money my [ __ ] what y'all think about that right one quick like that you couldn't just ain't my [ __ ] your side of the story don't buy that [ __ ] These [ __ ] Ain't That ain't I ain't making that money what's your what's your payroll to the [ __ ] hey [ __ ] don't [ __ ] with Netflix [ __ ] that ain't my [ __ ] so we're gonna fix your mic right quick [ __ ] cut that [ __ ] clean up nice [Music] that's right you look like some [ __ ] sea water he's here we're good we're back we're back in mic check one two one two all right we back welcome back to the 85 South show yes sir Taking Over America no Capital One Episode at a time voted the number one black show amongst black people who spent at least one whole summer at their grandma house [Applause] oh gee Snoop Dogg [Applause] y point of view like even to pick back up early what we was talking about disrespecting the icons even don't matter where they at in their life if they inspired you you know exactly what they did so people don't understand that motivation is spread it through with love so it's like I'm a youngin to watch what y'all did with Tupac give us a story that when you realize that that Tupac was like oh he did oh [ __ ] when a [ __ ] got out when he got out he was my friend before he got out so just know that part that he was my friend right so now when he get out he's more than my friend he's like my brother from my [ __ ] comrade just like it's me and you against the world now because so I take on what you take on you take on what I take on right so the thing I loved about him was I was so content at that time because nobody on death row [ __ ] with me so it was like and that ain't disrespect that's just saying that this is the captain of the ship I took my position as far as like okay it's me but I wanted him so it's like LeBron hey bring me Cup right I'm gonna win with this [ __ ] right he ain't got no team but that [ __ ] play his [ __ ] he go crazy bring this [ __ ] over here right he teaches me how to work harder he like we're in the studio the first couple of nights he get out I got a room he got a room we make a song when that [ __ ] just listening to her for like four hours [ __ ] got [ __ ] up in there [ __ ] this [ __ ] banging all right we go in this [ __ ] room he on his fifth song this [ __ ] make a song as soon as it go off pull the next beat up ain't gonna be listening to that [ __ ] that's the engineer job to mix that [ __ ] next song and everybody you rap you rap [ __ ] write a verse let me see if you can get on this song you got a beat [ __ ] let me hear something pull up something five six songs done giving [ __ ] a shot they're like how why you get that [ __ ] shot then you hear the song be like damn that [ __ ] bang who did that that [ __ ] that was in the corner of that pocket he was that he was resourceful like that like a loving [ __ ] in the studio like this kind of room right here right I love this [ __ ] cause he gonna find something that everybody can bring even if it's a all y'all say this at the same time foreign [Music] [Music] anyway because it's almost New Year so you know how you say your Christmas channel come on spend that Christmas money [ __ ] you already know get it at the envelope out the car buy a ticket buy a ticket No Cap that's what it is get the app too and two days we doing two days so if you missed the first day you ain't gonna miss the second one right what are you gonna hear about I found you [Music] that's like in the studio to be like man get all these [ __ ] out of here like he entertained that [ __ ] like I wasn't a star until I was next to him he showed me how to be a star right right like real [ __ ] like this [ __ ] was a star Snoop Dogg was famous right but I didn't know how to be a star this [ __ ] showed me how to be a star where it was like a couple of months because he was only with us for like seven months if you really look at the time he got out to the time he got killed so a couple of months yeah he got 96. it would definitely it was that long that wasn't even a whole year Annie was only 25 years old so he he come hanging out right so I got a house next thing you know he get a house I got a penthouse on Wilshire he get a penthouse two doors down I got a white Rolls-Royce he get a black Rolls Royce so now I'm still dressing like a [ __ ] from the hood khakis Chucks that [ __ ] like we got a meeting I'm like What's Happening Me and You Finna have a meeting the little homies can't show up you can't show up it's just me and you general to general so he like and we stepping our game up and [ __ ] is that we got to change your looks Snoop Dogg [ __ ] you a pimp [ __ ] the [ __ ] love you [ __ ] you fly [ __ ] what's you got to start showing your your fly side [ __ ] I'm Gonna Get You suited up [ __ ] I'm gonna call this [ __ ] Dion Scott get your suits fitted and all that [ __ ] [ __ ] get your hair laid [ __ ] get your nails done [ __ ] put some pimping on screen [ __ ] dress me up insults uh Louis Vuitton go [ __ ] I couldn't even spell because I'm pronounce all this Italian [ __ ] just look at how I'm standing next to Cub when I'm wearing it I'm I'm like I'm trying to figure it out right right but he already got it he like [ __ ] [Laughter] [Applause] t-shirt regular [ __ ] this [ __ ] is like four and I'm like do I look right and I hope I don't look sweet right right [Laughter] wait a minute so then once I got comfortable with it then it was like okay this [ __ ] teaching me how to be a star right like levels and layers we know you gangster dog but can you go higher than that what if a [ __ ] call you to be in a movie where they want you to be a lawyer all right what if a [ __ ] wants you to be a detective right you get what I'm saying looking like iced tea looking at this [ __ ] went from gangster the [ __ ] this [ __ ] been on CSI for [ __ ] 20 some years like that elevation like being next to a star like Parks a star right so he showed me how to transform into a star then when I got with Master P this [ __ ] is called show business right right that fro showed me the show right Master P show me the biggest so now I'm the king of show business right oh get it man so you don't win in all these places and learn this [ __ ] no limit was a three-year College run for me did you know that the South [ __ ] with you so hard before you got with no limit oh my family from the south what's that I knew that because it's like the way the way my voice sound is comforting to the South it's got that twang to it but it was kind of [ __ ] the east coast up because they like this [ __ ] sound like one of them country [ __ ] but he from the West right damn this [ __ ] saying some slick [ __ ] though right so it was like it was breaking everybody's frequency because I'm I got all that in me yeah my family background in Mississippi Mama and Daddy I already know we just like [ __ ] everywhere anybody especially took from the south you like yeah you know how you know you got a calling you got a god-giving talent and a voice like on any song It's supposed like your voice sound like it's supposed to be on there even if it don't it made it sound better you know what Babyface told me what [ __ ] said Snoop Dogg your voice is an instrument that's real it's not a vocal and you have to treat it like that he compared me to Miles Davis when I work with him cause I'm like damn I wouldn't start listening to club music and I'm like damn this thing don't even be saying nothing on this music he like because this music is an instrument your voice is an instrument that's why that [ __ ] fit with everything you put it in it's just a matter of what kids played in fact [ __ ] said Babyface told them that the [ __ ] that made Shoot Em Up Movies you gotta take that goddamn advice that's crazy talk that [ __ ] [ __ ] talk that [ __ ] [ __ ] let me see hit a note [Laughter] you said uh he was just he just asked you about the No Limit like when you went down to New Orleans I heard you say that you just saw how different the program was run by Master P like what are some of the first things that you saw to let you know like oh this this is this different how they doing it down here uh they were soldiers for real organized structured and them [ __ ] in play and P was serious about his business as far as like when I first got there first thing he was saying was like uh see don't take that [ __ ] to the Kelly old project bro as soon as he turned his back see took me to the Kelly Home Project soldier Slim don't have that [ __ ] in the magnolia Amanda Magnolia right so it's like I'm violating but then I'm listening and I'm watching how they not listening then I said no I'm not going to be a bad student I'm gonna stop doing what they doing got me an apartment out there first I lived in a No Limit apartment system it was like the projects [ __ ] everybody had an apartment in that [ __ ] it's just ghetto There's No Limit Apartments [ __ ] everybody's lived in the apartment with some ghetto [ __ ] and bad Rose [ __ ] I swear to God from there he was like okay we're working at the ice cream shop [ __ ] the ice cream shop was a bank they gave us a bank at the daytime and then at five o'clock it was a studio so the bank was right here in the studio was right here so we couldn't come in till after the Bank closed when that [ __ ] little ass room it's a [ __ ] in this room a [ __ ] in this room a [ __ ] in this room but it's a machine we working working we ain't even on my records yet I'm on no limit for like two months we didn't did like 50 songs I'm on his album his album his album his um his um MP like every album you get on bro you know you get paid this amount for [ __ ] was like then he like you ready now Snoop Dogg I'm like I'm ready for what he's like come on when we ride through this gated community like pick out which one you want like I want that one sign in your name you and your wife going out to that dealership pick out whatever tool y'all want which one you want boo I want that one I want that one in your name it's the first time [ __ ] was in my name everything was in Suge Knight so this [ __ ] is showing me off the rip I paid that [ __ ] gave you some chips nothing to buy you a house in your name get you and your wife from automobiles you ain't got to go back to California [ __ ] spend your time in school and get your degree that's what I did that's crazy bro that was real humble you just because you was already snooping right right just like say that I'm gonna go [ __ ] my spirit wasn't that see see that's what you got to understand the [ __ ] broke my spirit man right man it broke me man it broke my spirit man look doggy style working on Dog Father when my murder case Dre leaves Tupac get killed sure going to jail death row want to kill me damn take a nap yeah didn't cry didn't complain didn't beg didn't ask nobody for nothing took it on the channel just stood at all that's what I was going to ask you about the murder was the case album going through all this [ __ ] you know that was one of the roughest times in the Snoop Dogg whole you know Journey like you still was able to pull off that album and it's looked at now as a classic like how was you able to just switch that [ __ ] off and still go to work because I wrote the song before the murder case that's what [ __ ] didn't know they thought I caught the case and wrote a song about it [ __ ] that's stupid [Laughter] the rappers we wrote either life or death just look at my error 91 92 93 94 95 96 most of the rappers wrote their life or they wrote their death I was in the prime of writing death murder was the case I wanted to make a song like that because I heard the song Ice Cube had where it was like down on the pet spot it's me and JD and we selling more birds than a pet shop oh why didn't [ __ ] have to let loose I heard six pop from a deuce deuce Black Car service some by him getting shot getting took to the hospital and some [ __ ] but I was like nah I want my [ __ ] to be about me couldn't deal with the Devil then getting sentenced to the pen and blah blah my story was like that then this [ __ ] happened not exactly like the song but the [ __ ] happened was like damn I'm in a [ __ ] murder case so business has to continue to move right so naturally [ __ ] like [ __ ] that song is a [ __ ] I was like Hey cuz that's why I'm fighting the case I [ __ ] around the same Thriller again I don't know how I seen it again but that [ __ ] came on from the beginning it was like Quincy Jones and all them [ __ ] and all that [ __ ] then when they got to the movie part I was like oh I want to do that I said hey Dre cuz let's do murder was a case like Thriller Cub like a movie where it ain't just a video but it's a movie [ __ ] where [ __ ] acting and going to he was like cool then Ricky Harris rest in peace at a time [ __ ] he basically like wrote the whole beginning of it like the movie side of it so he wrote the [ __ ] Dre had the idea to shoot it and we was like [ __ ] it the label put up the money and we shot it and when we shot it we also put footage of like my whole career in the making like from me performing at the Soul Train Awards to me having an interview with Dre with the big afro sit in his garage like telling about my career and he's speaking on me and just some fly [ __ ] like an EPK and it [ __ ] worked but it wasn't about the case it was about the creative art that we created in that case just so happened to be going on at the time of the you know of the [ __ ] that we put out man I like to I you know I had conversations all the time about the different eras of Fame you know because we didn't came into it with the social media and everything but you was famous when it when you had to write a letter to your favorite celebrity so you had to go out and and actually show your support all the way right so so being as though you didn't transition through all of these eras of you know celebrity like which one do you think was the most beneficial to you as Snoop Dogg I think the first one because I come from the air that was created the first one the the foundation the The Temptations the [ __ ] Miracles James Brown you know all them types of [ __ ] what they had to do with like the chitlin circuit and the direct connect with the fans and go on the radio stations at six in the morning with boogers in your eyes and this is radio station was sitting there live with and hey y'all what's going on you want to win tickets to my show call up here right now call the number 15. hey what up is this Snoop Dogg yeah what's up dog oh man I love you mama get on the phone and Snoop Dogg that kind of [ __ ] and then they get a mama outside of the radio station I'm outside right now go down there meet her take a picture go get a plate of food not a community [ __ ] with me because it's real [ __ ] we walking through love we ain't sending no texts no visual experience [ __ ] we personally I know your mama [ __ ] I know your sister I know your little brother I spent the night over here like that kind of [ __ ] where it's like it's really real it's a direct connection where you feel like this ain't my fan it's my family right that's why they're still with me you know what I'm saying my fans have grown with me like it's crazy to see my concerts when I got a mother a father a daughter and a granddaughter like Generations and they all wit it it's something for everybody in there now Jesus said doggy man I got something for the grandkids all the way where I can hit them with something like you know move y'all take that kids Grandma parents enjoy this [ __ ] look the nights are getting longer but Festival in Miami Florida me some more Bruce Bruce Corey Holcomb Lavelle Crawford DC Young flag Tony Rock Ryan Davis and Mark Curry make sure you grab those tickets we said that's what's like what you transitioning how did you what you having that type of experience how did you not get Jaden and still jump into the social media era without feeling like oh this [ __ ] lame it ain't got the same experience what made you say see the value and what is going on today because you don't have to do it you was a legend 25 years ago so it's a [ __ ] named Nick on my team Nick Adler my Jewish friend Nicholas Adler and this [ __ ] always was he would push social media on me early this [ __ ] made me make investments and and read it and Facebook and invest money like [ __ ] just put 20 000 in I'm [ __ ] what the [ __ ] is this [ __ ] here [ __ ] that [ __ ] oh [ __ ] all right so the [ __ ] was telling me first thing he was telling me about was Twitter that's what people follow you right yeah yeah so he like it man if you start your Twitter you'll have millions of followers I don't want no [ __ ] following me [ __ ] no no I mean they're gonna follow you enough like no [ __ ] I don't need that I'll be doing [ __ ] [ __ ] once he explained it to me and I start like dibbling and dabbling right oh I got this [ __ ] what a [ __ ] I didn't own it him hey what's happening on me um hmm yeah let me tell you hey how you doing yeah then the thing come off the Instagram thing come out right he put me up on that I'm like man oh this is just pictures of [ __ ] in the beginning you know it was just pictures right right in the video okay yeah so I'm this is this pictures in the beginning right there's pictures pictures I'm like man this shit's so [ __ ] goofy [ __ ] this shit's so good [ __ ] look at this [ __ ] I'm gonna take a picture of carpet [ __ ] and watch 30 000 [ __ ] like it I just took a picture of the carpet right five seconds later thirty thousand [ __ ] like I'm like that [ __ ] goofy cuz look at this [ __ ] I can just post anything oh wait a minute yeah I could just post some [ __ ] I'm selling or some [ __ ] I want you to show up to or some [ __ ] I'm promoting or a positive message or some [ __ ] I'm trying to get off then I start thinking like a businessman like just maximizing like then the [ __ ] from Instagram doing interviews and say hey man our company was regular until one celebrity got behind it and then we became a hundred million dollar company that celebrity was Snoop Dogg you're so bad [Applause] I had a game get a piece of the pie see what I'm saying right so now we know better do better you do better fast so moving forward to the brothers and sisters out there watching when you're valuable know your value ask for Equity ask for a piece of the pie don't just take that little Snapback that they want to throw you up front you want a piece of the pie to make sure that you getting a piece of it after it continues to grow if you grow a brand you should be a part of the brand it's real it's real yeah yeah they always ask people on any interview who they want to smoke with everybody in the world want to smoke with Snoop who Snoop want to smoke with Michael Jordan Michael Jordan I never met him that's crazy hold the [ __ ] up man in the [ __ ] world [ __ ] I got the [ __ ] shoes I mean you said James Brown pulled up on you [ __ ] I would think you would know Michael Jordan but hold on this is why this is why we're putting this [ __ ] into the scope so in the air make it happen I saw an interview where you said they wasn't gonna let you in London and the queen called down and tell them that Snoop Dogg that's documented huh man I was fighting a murder case oh [ __ ] and I flew to London to do some shows right right while I was on tribe right so as soon as I land it's a [ __ ] the front of the magazine like the biggest magazine in London is like the New York Times or some [ __ ] they got a picture of me with a handcuff with one cuff on like this with the black Power Fist and here's the picture I took [Laughter] with the cuff hanging on looking gangsters [ __ ] and said kick this evil Bastard out on the cover in London so as soon as I land the interview was racing up to me what are you doing here they don't want you here and they say hey man leave me the [ __ ] alone I'm going to my room man get up to the room my publicity team like you're good the queen just sent word that her grandsons love you and they're not going to do anything to you because you didn't do anything over here you're good her grandsons was William and Harry [Applause] Potter if you're watching this Michael Jordan you gotta yeah [Music] you imagine what it was like when they first played the queen Snoop music well play me one of his songs oh okay granny ain't no fun oh Lord just when they thought she wanted them to turn it off let it play because in fact the [ __ ] aren't [ __ ] I know this to be true I do I know it to be true regular [ __ ] would you like to hear your Snoop Doggy Dog put it on and leave me she spin around in the chair guess who's back in the [ __ ] house well it's a fat crown for your [ __ ] mouth like so Snoop like was she when he wants to return Snoopy Grandma so what you're saying that you know Mike being one person that you haven't met who who has Snoop Dogg Starstruck like stars like oh [ __ ] it's him Noah was hiring who um your movie [ __ ] who [ __ ] bones [ __ ] when I'm shooting when I go to shoot bones right right I don't even know if I told [ __ ] this [ __ ] before but um we um I gotta fly to Frisco and then to Vancouver because the movie is in Vancouver right so fly to Frisco boom I'm in the airport yelling sitting down a [ __ ] Walker behind me and do like this and it's Pam Grier oh Jackie Brown listen wait a minute that ain't the good part with him so she's sitting next to me and she like you ready for this row I'm like yes I'm ready foxy so I said give me one second I'll go to the bathroom they can do this I can't make it up [ __ ] my security at the time had to come get me off the floor [ __ ] I'm in a nasty ass bathroom on the floor [ __ ] [ __ ] sweat [ __ ] just like I swear cause I'm like [ __ ] you imagine [ __ ] walking in that bathroom [ __ ] say what's wrong I said something [ __ ] put water on my face I regroup sitting next to her [ __ ] me and her seats are side by side [ __ ] she just it's it's amazing the way she's making me feel comfortable because this is my first throwing roll right I'm nervous I'm shy and then it's like this is Pam girl because to you young [ __ ] out there what Holly Berry was y'all five six years ago you understand me right yes believe it the queen of black sex exploitation the queen come on now so she had me rattle man and it was she comforted me though she like took me back to the hotel and gave me a nice little meal and just gave me that conversation that I needed to have because to feel comfortable on screen because I guess her her season veteranship showed that I wasn't you know ready like that so she got me all the way ready because Pam Grier had a [ __ ] Star Struck up some real [ __ ] oh my God man okay in the bathroom and you know what's crazy it's [ __ ] that tell that story right now that nobody believed till right now I told you that was that [ __ ] Snoop on that airplane on that bathroom that's what I gotta ask though how did you link up with Nate Dogg you know Nate Dogg a legend rest in peace the [ __ ] that y'all did for the West Coast in 1986 cause we was in uh at Poly High School Nate was in the 12th grade I was in the 10th grade we was in a science class I don't know how we was in the same science class [ __ ] so we were sitting in the back of the class and I would beat on the table making beats and [ __ ] and this [ __ ] would be singing like other people's songs right but he would make them dirty you know what I'm saying so he would like flip a [ __ ] Luther Vandross song and sing some some dirty [ __ ] [ __ ] be laughing and [ __ ] then we had seventh period together which was PE so we had a [ __ ] that would beat box a [ __ ] would beat box I would be rapping and they would be singing alone and we just became like dogs like we both love music we both love [ __ ] with the women and we love playing basketball and we just got tight like that and then Warren she got into the equation because he was always trying to do music Dre is his brother he wanted to be a DJ he wanted to be a rapper he was always pushing rap on me so the [ __ ] had to come together because Warren Jay was like one of my best friends and Nate Dogg was becoming my best friend because of the school we went to so like after school and in our afterlife was selling dope and becoming teenagers we clicked up and became 213 because it was a group in Oakland called 415. that was the [ __ ] Richie Rich and delo and we like them [ __ ] so much we was like we need to be two one three so we could represent southern California and that's our Nate Dogg Warren G formulated our group that I love that you know embodied that sound that y'all created was the Dove Shack like did you have anything to do with that like them little homies but uh two scoops that was in the group when I first started like writing raps I used to use that [ __ ] typewriter Snoop you wrote raps on a tight rock this might need to go in the Smiths [Laughter] [Applause] gotta do this [ __ ] again oh man supposed to be [ __ ] I was writing on paper cause and then I would lose my [ __ ] and this [ __ ] typewriter was organizing they had paper organizers just so I'm like I'm just gonna type my [ __ ] up man I used to type like 65 words a minute [ __ ] you gotta speed up DC [Applause] [Laughter] that was a skill that I took up in junior high school at the little white junior high school I went to they gave a [ __ ] typing class and I took it like I was one of them students that was like I took up a wood class a middle class I took typing I took home economics I took classes that was like different I just want to be in the class but the homies and [ __ ] and then go home and get a whooping and get in trouble for [ __ ] up I was trying to pick classes that was like different and [ __ ] and then someone in class has had some bad [ __ ] in there too so I'm looking to see what the [ __ ] is [ __ ] in home economic I'd like to have home economics right can I try out for that glee club right some holes in there hold on hello Chico being here again January 6th through the 8th 2023 we pushing this [ __ ] out you ain't got no excuse not to know I'm coming improv in Tempe Arizona I'll be there for five shows so get your tickets and I ain't even gonna read this for long because this [ __ ] in January so you got plenty of time to get your tickets all right so you know I know it's gonna be around tax time you're gonna be getting your W-2 so think about me when you start to think about what you gonna spend that money on January 6th through the 8th 2023 I will be there I man age major merch live right now claytonenglish.com go get you some man we got all the HBCU inspired colorways man go get it you know what it is let's go back then grown-ups yeah and a lot of people get La confused because they just think they be in La everywhere in California it's different cities 20 minutes anyway 10 minutes this way 20 minutes that way right so explain the difference even though it's the same from LBC in LA in a different cities well LBC is all [ __ ] City we're the city by the Sea the turf by the surf we're a little bitty city and we you know we we tightly knitted it's the east side it's the west side it's the north side and through those Dimensions you got different races different ethnicities different gangs different families and different people that's been a part of the city for a long time that keep it reputable whether it's on the streets or behind the wall so when you come to California we known for what we do you know whether it's Sports whether it's entertainment or if it's the ignor [ __ ] we do it all we bring it to you any way you want it and La is La in La there's different sections in La there are about six seven hundred gangs in La alone so it's not about the city it's the hood you from right because La is the county right but Long Beach is the city now speaking of hoods that's something that anybody that comes from one knows is very delicate navigating getting out and being able to still have a presence there because you don't want to leave your people behind but that comes with a lot of you know how they can pain because you lose people along the way and so how have you navigated that you've been in the game since 1992 and you you know one of the most you made gang banging worldwide you helped take it worldwide even though you know it was the most positive aspects in watching you personally it still comes with what it comes with so how do you navigate those people who steal uh in that mentality and never gonna come out of it while you still gotta go be Snoop Dogg all over the world well what I do was well what I did was I created uh you wanna wait for that train yeah they're running the train right now they even went back there when you was on them porno movies yeah and we'll get to that though I had them did you bring them they let me forget the question when you brought a porno no it was just about you navigating being from the hood being one of the guys that was originally from your set and you know one in the Superstar if you follow my career I put a group together called the Eastsiders right East Side Up he said big trading trading from insane Cody Lowe from 20 [ __ ] which is Rivals it's not rival it's family but it's tension and it's misunderstanding based off of Old beefs and the old [ __ ] that happened but it's actually family this is Long Beach this is the biggest gangs in Long Beach these are the gangs that run the city and what I mean by gangs I don't mean like terrorizing I mean like organized structure they do positive things they do try to bring the hood together so what I did was put the two MC's together to bring some peace because I knew that his homies would follow him his homies will follow me him and if they got together now they're going to start to communicate and start well you know what they're going to really hate you in the game [ __ ] [ __ ] you my cousin you know that right [ __ ] my mama used to [ __ ] with yo and then it's dialogue then it's not wow it's like my [ __ ] let's just talk about it let's figure this [ __ ] out so we can find a way to try to be better and through the music that was my my vocal point was music so I can make it move in the Hood by bringing on two homies that I know that are active put them in a musical position to make music but then negativity came with that because dog [ __ ] them he ain't giving them their money he doing this he ain't paying them and it started that kind of [ __ ] but at the end of the day I stay solid stay true to what I do they had to see that I wasn't wrong that I was right our relationship is just as good as it was from day one but we had to go through those hurdles for people to understand that this is a business and sometimes bringing the hood with you they don't understand business and you can't teach them the business overnight like LeBron gave his homies a shot they got to know what they're doing though you hear what I'm saying I'm pretty sure with seven other [ __ ] that wanted to spot but they didn't know what they was doing you got to know what you're doing when you get that position with the dog whatever business it is it can't be gang banging we don't do the business of gangbang we do the business of Peace saving lives and intervening into that type of [ __ ] right now one of the people that you influenced heavily was nip you know I mean and and you know all the way down to people saying they look like you but he was one of the most brilliant people man so what is something that you learned from Nick to be you just the gist [ __ ] he ever did they was doing Straight Out of Compton movie right so Dr Dre Ice Cube all them [ __ ] calling me man we trying to get nip to play you and Straight Outta Compton he ain't getting back to us all right let me holla at the um oh I hit him up nip let me holla at you pull up on me he'd come over to the spot God they want you to play me and uh and Straight Outta Compton movie I'm happy as a [ __ ] to tell him he like no disrespect Big Homie but I can't play you in the movie because then people are going to just know me for being you I gotta be me and that's what all due respect and I was like damn I was gangster's a [ __ ] I called him [ __ ] I said good y'all gotta go find somebody else speaking of that man why you do the voice over and the boy that was a machine but I gotta ask you did the voiceover [ __ ] you know some of the best [ __ ] on the Internet is you doing the voice over on the [ __ ] Discovery Channel Animal Planet type [ __ ] yes oh bro where are you going when are you gonna put that yeah the Animal Planet [ __ ] we ain't gonna put some more of that [ __ ] on ggm you know the ggm was one of the first podcasts ever created [Applause] so I created a lot of [ __ ] off of the GG and that my good friend Jimmy Kimmel he had happened to have the ABC show The Jimmy Kimmel show which I was his first guest the first week that he started his first five days so we like family right so Jimmy watching the ggn and he like look at that [ __ ] funny he won't say [ __ ] dude nice [Applause] I think I want to produce some of it and bring it on my show all right girl let's do that thing because just make sure it's in the GG and fashion so my [ __ ] will look like it's supposed to look [ __ ] bring me down put me on his show then this [ __ ] blow all the way up then I double back on my show and do it a couple more times and he bring me back on to do it again and he had me do like some old school basketball [ __ ] with [ __ ] just passing the ball 10 times it didn't dribble I was roasting that [ __ ] with one [ __ ] on the team and like get this [ __ ] out here he was like man you got a career at that [ __ ] so I started doing that and then I started getting announcing jobs doing the boxing match my [ __ ] [Laughter] oh it's over cuz [Laughter] speaking of that how do you eat you know is that something that you learned over time to just be Snoop because you know sometimes they'll book you for [ __ ] and they be telling you what to do and I'm sure a lot of times you go in for stuff and they be like well we want you to talk like this or do this how do you make them know that man the best thing I can bring to this is meat well in the beginning I didn't have no control I had to like basically take what was given you know you create your control based off of how you get out and you know your reputation and your resume and your ethics so I'm not hard to work but I'm just I'm just a perfectionist at what I do so a lot of times when I'm on the set my father's got to let me bend it a little bit to make it you know fit the way it's supposed to fit but if it's not supposed to be Snoop Dogg then I allow them to direct me and give me all the [ __ ] I need but if it's Snoop Dogg or close to the vein of me I got to be in a little bit of control of it to make sure that it's projected right so when y'all see it y'all enjoy the truth yeah yeah yeah you smoking on stage before yeah I see I'm like this look this is in between the tapes yeah [Music] exactly I've seen him do something they was like you can't smoke in here he's like no [ __ ] you can't smoke in here uh White House in the bathroom under who's presidency [Applause] oh yeah I bet I was hoping I was hoping it wasn't relaxed or was you were like you see if the Secret Service can really keep a secret uh it was Herbie Hancock was getting inducted to the Kennedy um center right that night so I performed Michelle Obama Obama all of them up there they rocking to The Music well we'll say oh I'm making them do [ __ ] that [ __ ] don't normally do at this event right say who say [ __ ] [ __ ] [Applause] [Laughter] es ain't [ __ ] look so later on they do a dinner at the house right right so it's only one [ __ ] in there with me Chris Spencer right so yeah we're in that [ __ ] right in heat like [ __ ] how you get I'm like [ __ ] how you get in [ __ ] so we meet Obama and [ __ ] well what so I'm moving around I'm like [ __ ] I'm in the white house now I need to move around [ __ ] [ __ ] all that I move around to the kitchen I'm like what a butler at Butler come out the back it's a [ __ ] too like what's up cuz I'm like what a bathroom like I'm trying to whoop he said you trying to do number one number two I said [ __ ] I'm trying to whoa whoa number three where is that [ __ ] that [ __ ] said uh two doors down that way right I said you show he said yeah the smoke the smooth the food smell gonna drown and I said this [ __ ] here loud [ __ ] so I went in the bathroom pulling out my sock cause you know Secret Service and passes [ __ ] down 100 times but they didn't feel that thing down there right pull him on out yeah yeah [Music] [Applause] [Applause] I lit up some tissue right oh let the tissue run for a second let him burn down with whooped and throw him in there real fast right hit him one more time he makes that mix that smoke tissue and fire right oh what a deal [Applause] you know I'm not I'm not as much of a connoisseur as my brothers here but y'all would agree and say Snoop is the king of the the you know the we yeah of course so he told me I rolled up a bat wood you remember you smoked it that day look what I'm smoking now but you wrote this cuz I said [ __ ] you did now I've heard legendary not only heard I've seen was smoking with Snoop Dogg can do the [ __ ] yeah I've seen it in my mind this [ __ ] is a [ __ ] I wouldn't if I had to pick some [ __ ] to send into a weed War this is one of the [ __ ] I'm nominated but [ __ ] I wasn't on the episode of the show when you came I was upstairs watching well while I'm out wilding out yeah so I'm one of the ones that you came and did I know because I never get to battle you cuz uh-oh oh yeah oh yeah no I'm just I'm just I'm just I know everybody but uh you know I'm upstairs watching the I'm watching the show right and I knew that losing spoke with you and I watched the show that I see my [ __ ] Los picking lent off the microphone [ __ ] I'm like that [ __ ] man I was like after the straight he was like [ __ ] nah [ __ ] my eyes a [ __ ] [ __ ] with that [ __ ] it's this picture with me and Jordan Sparks I'm on that bed like this you know what's crazy though look so I'm on the movie set right right so the first day I get to the movie Set this bunch of little kids they're like 12 13. they don't really know me like that as a rapper they know like Snoop Dogg for other [ __ ] so it's a little fat [ __ ] up there he like he like he rap he want to battle you he wanna battle me all right come on the fat [ __ ] don't even get his words out I [ __ ] him up fast yeah then I [ __ ] up three other [ __ ] like on some karate [ __ ] and not thinking about you [ __ ] could get something so [ __ ] come back the next two days and they they get they just keep coming I swear to [ __ ] I ain't said nothing in three days then today the little [ __ ] saying I watched your battles on uh wild and out we don't want no more I will respect that then before I kick you in your [ __ ] [ __ ] [Music] still gonna be there I ain't cutting my [ __ ] that's right January 30 like some [ __ ] in the background looking say something [ __ ] what you got to say I see you back that dirty hoodie ass [ __ ] say something say something I'm on all you [ __ ] any [ __ ] saying these [ __ ] walk around the corner to see my [ __ ] [ __ ] all these [ __ ] you see it [ __ ] [ __ ] you [ __ ] you got on a Genie cat [ __ ] with nothing up under it [ __ ] cash and spell yeah [ __ ] all these [ __ ] January 13 2023 [ __ ] it's going down [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm keeping my [ __ ] off just for these [ __ ] let's read the rest of them January 14th Chico being back again MGM Center Stage at Northfield in Cleveland Ohio I'll be there that's right me and my bald spot [ __ ] these [ __ ] net January 20th through the 22nd 2023 Funny Bone in Virginia Beach five shows right there you see it like you know you still you started battling you say back in the day you know what I mean it's a better way a lot of rappers different right no disrespect to the battle out rap right now we had to Freestyle right we didn't have time to go home and oh DC had a baby on the side DC hairline is [ __ ] up DC is this I had to make it up on the spot right [ __ ] like get at you right now [ __ ] you [ __ ] got too much time right now to go home and ride it and and prepare it like we didn't have all of that time no disrespect but that's just the the battle era that I come from it was like [ __ ] pull up and get at it [ __ ] what's happening you see Eight Mile right right yeah was they writing [ __ ] it was because he had a rapper and he had to go ahead and battle right go to the next event that's where it started like I'm I'm from the original Foundation that's why I'm not in that because I'm from the foundation that has outgrown me but I respect it because the battle rappers already know what it is when they come to me I've done Gladiator School I've done battle raps for them where I put the function together and allowed them to get out because I [ __ ] with them and I love how they get out but I'm just saying I come from the era of KRS one yeah one [ __ ] fired up right now right now wasn't anybody you ever ran up on when you was young Snoop Dogg that you was like man I wish I could go at it with this [ __ ] just on that style of battle rap I wanna that's how I met corrupt me and corrupt met battle rapping in Hollywood at the [ __ ] Roxy it was a talent show for my homies Perfection which was the twins Folsom Domino and beefy local gym all them [ __ ] was in one game called Perfection so they go to a talent show in L.A and they do their little thing but they don't win it so when it's over with it's a female in the streets and she talking to my homies like this you Long Beach [ __ ] is weak my homeboy has served all you [ __ ] she talking to my [ __ ] like that God damn so I'm I didn't perform I'm just with my [ __ ] so she's like yeah [ __ ] my homeboy sir why here he come right now and it's corrupt this [ __ ] skinny little [ __ ] she pointed at one of the [ __ ] from Perfection that [ __ ] just started sewing this [ __ ] head off you [ __ ] he Freestyle right he right now right so he taking all the [ __ ] out the [ __ ] is like bowing down they ain't even saying nothing I come off the wall like [ __ ] what's happening [ __ ] he fired back we going at it like 15 minutes I can't get none he can't get none it's like we're just swinging hard and ain't nothing penetrating we end up like talking about [ __ ] your jacket is fresh and your shoes we're standing up we ended like this [ __ ] shaking hands on some like [ __ ] cause we couldn't [ __ ] with each other but like a moving scene [ __ ] [ __ ] got up all right on the ride back home [ __ ] was in the car like because they had never seen me like that with nobody [ __ ] like that [ __ ] was hard and like you had to pull out your best [ __ ] on that [ __ ] I'm like I know cuz I said cuz if I ever make it I'm gonna go back and get that [ __ ] and I went back and got it really he got one of the coldest verses ever written well if corrupt gave a [ __ ] about him well see I wasn't always on my team that could challenge me another [ __ ] like that was my cousin RBX now my cousin RBX was the greatest rapper I ever battled because he's the only [ __ ] that never lose to me about him like seven eight times in my life and never beat him this [ __ ] had a song called my vocabulary we had big ass words and understood the meaning then he went backwards with the words then he had a song where he used to always [ __ ] me up it would start off like this laying in a field baffled and perplexed once again the powers of the ex wondering will this war come before I am ready it is time load the weapon this is the doormat to the funky format now step in slam the door hit the latch let me manifest the words of a rock this [ __ ] was hitting me with [ __ ] like this in the 80s I'm like [ __ ] the way he's saying it his his body his spirit is all that [ __ ] is like damn I can't beat this [ __ ] so as soon as I get a deal hey it's right we need to have this [ __ ] with us because I can't [ __ ] with him it's my cousin he'll make us stronger let me hear him bring him in poke not in now I got two [ __ ] around me that I know that's gonna make me kill right I need [ __ ] better than me so I cannot work them right you know what I'm saying Hell yeah everybody around me lesser I ain't got no reason to work that's why y'all [ __ ] work that's why this [ __ ] this this team right here works because all you [ __ ] trying to outwork each other for the right reasons make it make sense make it make sense it makes sense y'all man this [ __ ] Snoop Dogg in this [ __ ] man it's like man this [ __ ] crazy I mean like you know I mean you you do you have you gotten to the point where you recognize the stat like you were the most famous most well-known most recognizable not not just rapper but one of the most recognizable artists to ever live famous people human beings like everybody [ __ ] with Snoop like you said from the [ __ ] kids to their grandmother I mean all the way from all over the world there's no way you can go in the world where people won't know Snoop Dogg you think so thanks though [Laughter] hey did you think you was going to get the reaction to the white character you did Todd no no let me tell you look I shot what the [ __ ] did I shoot I shot a some [ __ ] with Nia Long right it was like it was the ggn cuz I had shot some [ __ ] on a ggn where I did like [ __ ] uh boys in the hood remake yeah stupid [ __ ] dude in the movie she was in what was the movie where she was dating the white dude the best no one the best man was some other [ __ ] yeah yeah it was uh the best man it was something like that I think it was it was the best man I do that [ __ ] right then they say cut I'm like huh let me let me do something with this [ __ ] white face in this wig real quick cousin Ricky Harris was there with me this [ __ ] always is my funny [ __ ] since I've been a kid he like you should make a white character named Todd he said make him like a white boy at Todd and I'll be dick like Todd and dick I'm like that's just something hard he said but you gotta talk like a white boy I'm like all right let's roll [ __ ] it hey what's going on just [ __ ] Todd right rolling down the streets just crocheting white guys connect yeah baby I'll put that [ __ ] on Instagram that [ __ ] blew up [ __ ] was like cuz then I just did about seven or eight of them [ __ ] and I took the makeup off and [ __ ] wanted it again yeah I'm like [ __ ] that makeup took like seven miles again y'all got me [ __ ] up but then a [ __ ] called me to be in a movie with it the Deon Taylor booms man you gotta sit your head out for some hours but it's like it got a roll for me fast like it was such a clowning moment but [ __ ] seen the talent now what I say you never know who watching you've been doing some funny [ __ ] too right bruh you had the you had dude yeah but like this was before the Chappelle show yeah I know that was let me tell you what happened with that show so MTV get at me they like we want you to put together a variety shows you can do whatever you want I'm like all right that's from the Israel fizzle and all that [ __ ] was like popping [ __ ] was talking like that I'm like let me call my show the doggie fizzle show cool what you gonna do I want it to be like sketch funny this [ __ ] that [ __ ] let me create it y'all get the [ __ ] out the way had that [ __ ] bopping and popping first season [ __ ] gave me like fifteen thousand dollars right because they didn't believe 15 000 wasn't [ __ ] but it was a lot back then right so [ __ ] took it right so as soon as we get to like the last episode of season one this [ __ ] is popping everybody talking about it [ __ ] doggy Fizzles [ __ ] want to be on it I got celebrities lining up to be on it they tell me we want to do season two we've already structured the deal with your whole team your hair stylist your security everybody got double the money they was happy [ __ ] was on the set ready to work I said how much I get 30 000. no your contract stays the same until season three um boy season two episode one everybody on my team in there the hair stylist they just all in the trailer seven o'clock nine o'clock one o'clock four P.M tomorrow morning is not showing up right about MTV y'all can eat a dick [ __ ] y'all got me [ __ ] up [ __ ] y'all in this show [ __ ] I don't need this show [ __ ] I'm Snoop Dogg [ __ ] doggy fizzle and walked away from me two months later the Chappelle show was on that [ __ ] was getting it in oh yeah and that's my homie right yeah so I go do his show right help him get his [ __ ] up right you feel what I'm saying because this is what we do we're a Brotherhood I told you that like we don't get mad and we who's next it's good let me go let me go show him something not now solid foundation and the music in the comedy is something y'all always Blended man like speak to the skit that's something that we don't really have and rap no more but see skits Dr Dre created that [ __ ] with the NWA era they always had skits on they [ __ ] that was either funny hard or either something that connected to song so when we got to The Chronic album he noticed that we was funny as [ __ ] right so he was like [ __ ] we're gonna do the 25 000 pyramid don't get it [ __ ] up east side of Long Beach 1982 [ __ ] in junior high school talk your [ __ ] [ __ ] it started with one of the little homies the Twins and a couple other [ __ ] that was funny [ __ ] was like uh uh amen the homie looking for you next at home these nuts they used to go like that yeah the Skins were so legendary I mean even the kids at the beginning the song dance DJ easy dick coming back at you with another fat dick for you but and it's like [ __ ] was was that something that y'all implemented or was that just one of them situations where [ __ ] was just in the room kicking him like Hey Hey go in there and do some of that [ __ ] you do the DJ easy did got created at my apartment in Culver City see I was living in Culver City and we had like a a phone that was like our little hotline so we gave it out to all the females and [ __ ] just used to call us like all the time this is like when the chronic was out so when they calling Ricky Harris would be answering like a radio station this is radio station W balls 187.4 FM on your dial so we making tapes Dre here to take we need to put that [ __ ] on the album let me produce it everybody's got to hear this [ __ ] whatever your balls double your balls W balls behind what he said yeah it's ready to stop as a dog he said let me put a little sauce on you always [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] my name is Carlos Miller and I just came to spread a little black love because I hope you having a good day because this is a good day scent that's black love since I love you so much I want to give you my discount code my personal discount code and gonna get 25 off l-o-u-s kind of look like love if you write it fast but if you use my code you'll get an additional 25 off if you go use my personal discount code so you can get you some of these nice ass candles and have a good day with a good day scent 25 off Lous black love one of my favorites because I love you and you're black even if you're not black the code still works that's the beautiful part about it crazy I'll see you next time let's throw some funny [ __ ] on there like [ __ ] I'm gone none of you [ __ ] like me you [ __ ] with that oh that's in my [ __ ] I'm gone it's my [ __ ] I can't breathing I gotta go exactly yeah which one of you [ __ ] like me yeah we're the nine inch dicks girl that's my uh it's my group my little alternative group you know you imagine yeah my name is Chico Bean I'm here to audition to be a member of the nine inch dicks let's see if he qualify where you taking death row to what's the future of death row wow great question well we started off in the metaverse we did about 40 million in the metaverse [Applause] now we plan to go around the Universe I want to do death row India death row Africa death row Asia definitely everything I want to go global global because you got to look at it like this that logo and that brand is so well known it's so established that it's time to start letting other countries give it a shot at what they sound could be because death row was just a small company with a big ass dream and I feel like taking it to a country with some small artists what a big ass dream is going to keep it growing man and speak to like you know your relationship with with sugar you know it's been up and down but you know you guys reconciled and made peace did that help with you making a decision to getting or did you go to help me get his Blessing or did you feel that you needed to no no that that the decision I made to get there for was strictly my decision no checking with nobody it was strictly based off of me wanting my masters back to this record right here and then eventually wanting everything that came with it because it was available knowing that I could protect the leg Legacy and put everything back in order no I didn't check with Suge Knight because he has no ownership in it with all due respect I didn't feel like I needed this blessing right I felt like what I'm doing is restoring his legacy as well I feel like if anything it should be good [ __ ] snoodles right it's in the right hands Your Heart Is Right your spirit is right and you you part of the legs that built this [ __ ] and just to keep things in order I brought in Michael Harris who's Harry O as the CEO yeah so just to put the business back in the business because he's a brilliant business-minded man who understands certain levels of the business and how it can grow and how certain things need to be handled in certain aspects of the business so we're just pushing a great line of business like black business and not trying to have negative energy floating around it uh is he mad or is it no man this is business man when the when the other man had it it wasn't a problem and he wasn't doing nothing with it right I got to bring this up too because you taking five six seven-year-old boys and now they now you got Super Bowl champions okay about to have a Heisman Trophy winner this year speak on the program how you got that started how you got the foundation to like I said you got Super Bowl champions and yeah Heisman Trophy winners at this that's my most pride possession is the Snoop you Football League we started in 2005 um the standard City youth program to help you know you have a solution to some things to do and it also helps ex-gang members become coaches and role models and mentors and we've been doing such a great job with sending kids to high school to graduate for the first time to college for the first time to the NFL and even to different ventures of life not just sports but life in general I got some kids that are sheriffs and lawyers and Road Scholars and dentists and things that you wouldn't even imagine that came out of my league and it's it's beautiful to see it blossom and grow into what it is and then in 2017 we created the Snoop youth special Stars when we deal with kids with special needs and autism and handicaps [Applause] I had to bring the football yeah we're doing our thing man and like I said we got a kid right now that goes to Ohio State CJ Stroud he's you know top five right now in that Heisman running and he played in my league and he's one of the kids that we're very proud of alongside with a lot of other kids that have done their thing and made us proud of them and their achievements whether they go to the next level or not we just proud the fact that they was able to to follow their dreams and do some things and still call me coach to this day that's like the best feeling in the world like Uncle Snoop is a great it's a great feeling when people say that Uncle snook what's up but damn that coach I feel so much that [ __ ] hit different what you think about what prime got going on down at Jackson State Jackson State yeah yeah Prime got some good [ __ ] going because what he's doing is he's bringing in the awareness to the HBCU and making it fun and friendly and making it you know available now because for many years it's been you know covered up and it's a lot of talent that can be displayed there are a lot of opportunities a lot of Brotherhood family business and just Blackness yeah like come on man like where I come from on the west hbcus don't get no run then I talked about they're not pushed it and I know it is none yeah zero stop in the midwest so it's like late coming from there to say hey y'all come to HBCU but when you see a Deion Sanders making it look like it looked the locker room popping every week they winning and oh man I want to go there yeah we saw it we saw it Lord have mercy he called me before he called me before he um took the job down there oh yeah talked for a long time this was before we agreed to this [ __ ] because it was another school he was thinking about hey but we saw the the value in it before he went down there everybody yeah you know he was down we was down here arguing with Gilly Gilly running down man listen man penalty running down the side see they got tape on your ass from that Steelers Eagles game we're gonna just charge it to the game what now I seen you get mad [Applause] I don't know what's wrong with him I need to be in a competition I don't know who he was playing ahead [ __ ] [ __ ] this [ __ ] [ __ ] stupid as [ __ ] man look at this dumb man I never played with Snoop [ __ ] break your controller then I beat you though you did I said no more but then you ran away if I beat you yeah but I'm texting you to play it was we was talking on the Xbox hey DC what's going on you win [ __ ] it's invisible now what's going on man ready to play tonight don't do it I said the name don't do it all right one more thing what's up with the hood flicks [Music] um which I want to be in uh whatever yeah I told y'all about the watch TV series that's perfect for y'all yeah but I think we what I think we need don't I think we need some sort of movie where we can showcase all of these bad [ __ ] that's popping in the social media world that haven't been produced like it's some great talent that's floating around the way you guys have connected and came together it's a lot of individuals out there like you guys used to be you see what I'm saying they they're not being produced but they're making great content like [ __ ] that's funny where it's like they could be seen to be like damn that [ __ ] funny yeah Davis you show a lot of love on your social media to him what's the [ __ ] Eddie Murphy when he did Harlem Nights when he took the best of the best but he made them characters that fit they [ __ ] to where they could be the best right like we need one of them well all you funny [ __ ] and all you [ __ ] that can act and doing all this [ __ ] and creating content was like [ __ ] put the camera down we need you to act on this one right man I gotta ask you like how do you or where do you find the the parts of you that make you the type of [ __ ] that you are with your status like my mama passed away you hit me man you gave me low my mama died like and it's like this Snoop Dogg but you reaching out like a like you know I mean it's a regular person first time we met you you walked up on me and Los like you knew us it was like [ __ ] how the [ __ ] you know who we are like what keep you in tune not only to know who the younger generation is but to let them know like hey come here I [ __ ] with you I told you that's who I am I told you this [ __ ] I like them running up on them that's that's all I've always been like I don't have no problem with like stop the car I like that [ __ ] let me tell that [ __ ] what's up real quick real quick right what up my [ __ ] yeah just like what's happening my [ __ ] I [ __ ] with you like when I just did this show with uh Kelly Clarkson we did American song contest right so she brings the [ __ ] up I forgot she was like do you remember the first time you met me I'm like damn I hate what [ __ ] ask that [ __ ] I've been remembering everything but uh no I don't tell me you're right she's like I was walking at an award show and you said hey Kelly Clarkson it's Snoop Dogg and I [ __ ] with you and I said damn I did say that she said that's the first time I met you I'm like so that's how I am like if I yeah the first time we met you walked up over me at Lowe's we supposed to be at Lowe's La at the BET Awards we were doing something wild and now [ __ ] you walked up like hey [ __ ] you two [ __ ] Ain't somewhere rapping we was like [ __ ] you Snoop Dogg talking like that it's crazy it was hard though cause that old school [ __ ] y'all was doing that [ __ ] was so remember I told you I'm first generation right not first generation rapper but I heard rap when it first came out right so like y'all was so close to that the way y'all the style the Cadence the way y'all was just [ __ ] each other up and back and forth that's battle rap like right now you know what I'm saying like right now battle rap and I respect that so [ __ ] it man sorry for respecting I mean no I'm just saying this little it's just surprising it's shocking and it's something that you know you don't see a lot of people in your status well you don't really even get to run into the people of your status like that but when you do they not they don't embrace you like that like you're one of the people that made us feel comfortable all of us you know I mean you just say you playing Madden with fly texting them like [ __ ] that's 10 years ago [ __ ] I'm like man one day Snoop Dogg won't be texting your phone you're like the [ __ ] out my face you know what I mean but that's that's you know that's one of the most the best parts about you man thank you man we people people my mama's to blame man my mother I cut from my area where my mother should be like get your ass outside and go play right go outside so where I come from it was a bunch of kids and a bunch of [ __ ] so you had to mix and mingle and learn how to move around and build relationships and you know what I'm saying learn how to be cool with [ __ ] or either be a down ass [ __ ] just [ __ ] [ __ ] up and I didn't want to be that [ __ ] I'm just the cool [ __ ] so I translated that into who I am as a grown man we seen you have a whole career and we've seen you turn like you said into a businessman you're seeing yourself all kind of [ __ ] like one of the kings of marketing bro what kind of advice would you give to the Next Generation that got the access to the internet to build how would they build their empire with all this [ __ ] you got to have something that's worth buying first no so build your brand up to where you ain't selling nothing it's selling itself you know what I'm saying like that's that's the cold part about what I do I don't sell nothing the brand though hey man I got one last question what can I get them glasses from [ __ ] I need those what are those here [ __ ] oh [ __ ] you serious man [Applause] oh no no problem you wanna see what they look like ought to walk a Fame that was special cuz um my mama was there my daddy was there Warren G was there Dr Dre was there [ __ ] Quincy Jones was there and the the [ __ ] that was there that just [ __ ] me up the most [ __ ] Kareem Abdul Japan what yeah the captain was there [ __ ] so I'm just looking around right and I'm like damn I must have done a whole lot cuz for Quincy Jones Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and [ __ ] Dr Dre to be here well I'm like I ain't even got no speech because I'm up here just look at this [ __ ] like damn everybody talking and saying cool [ __ ] Dre reading this [ __ ] [ __ ] reading this [ __ ] I'm like damn what the [ __ ] I'm gonna do I get up there because I look at my mama and I just come up with some [ __ ] like [ __ ] I want to thank me [Music] [Applause] that's rough cat you're gonna make that the last question you mean that you got it on yeah we'll be all right yeah it's 82 games in the season okay it's all good don't trip we're gonna be all right look I'm gonna die hard man like one thing about me I bleed purple and gold man Magic Johnson is my friend man you know what I'm saying Kareem Abdul's boy is my friend man I sit down and chop it up with these brothers man like this is these are my childhood Idols like you know what I'm saying I know them and I can highlight them so it's like when we have a bad season it's okay because we had so many good Seasons right right and then this championship trophy I got on my arm if you notice it see that KB down there Kobe because that's what I'm walking around with that spirit in my arm and then on this side I got my left hand man Nate Dogg with me now you know it wouldn't be right if we didn't bring some goddamn hip-hop artifacts through here while I roll up his last one for the highway one more thing that's Super Bowl oh Super Bowl if you see that blaze up some [Applause] points what's the case this is a special one this is doggy style but this is uh the dog style yeah yeah see that at my house [ __ ] what [ __ ] what yeah I watched it in mind you gotta sleep right there me in the game [Applause] no no no no don't rush the clock yeah take your time okay don't go fast I can't read that fast one two three yeah I'm living my best life I've been on I've been on so many uh too many different stages I've been on a hundred that's the legendary yeah yeah for that only be seven months you spoke about that bad news travels fast nah talk about a little to have there put his dick on her head you know pop it ain't got a little half dead inside is right there yeah that's that doggy style oh this new place got it oh look you got everything [ __ ] you should know about a million dollars [ __ ] that man got a Santa Claus look at all streaming so I can use it on my way my [ __ ] coming back but see I'm gonna let you get your money before I pull it back up though see I like this [ __ ] [ __ ] be having me signing uh album covers I like that now you got Soldier Slim [ __ ] yeah yeah [Music] [Applause] I ain't never seen you had that much nobody [ __ ] which one you want me to sign huh LBC I need to sign some of that [ __ ] that [ __ ] got some Snoop Dogg stripper money [Laughter] where'd you get that book from about hip-hop Immortals it's already been signed by chub Rock Houdini iced tea sign that already that's a cop oh I got a song in that car that's Jason this [ __ ] didn't pulled out [ __ ] dinosaur bones this is a crazy Pittsburgh Steelers oh thank you we're gonna be all right we're sorry Detroit glasses yeah this one I was in Detroit yeah stand me working at McDonald's old young eggs I used to call me young ass crazy man young age that's what they call me hey man it's been another legendary day hitting the Trap [Music] [Applause] oh God [Music] [ __ ] know I don't go out because when I'm out on the movies thank you
