Smash But Attacks Do Canon Damage

damage a move does let's take Pikachu Thunder for example I deemed every Pokemon in smashes level 50 so we ball with that apply the power of the move apply the Pokemon's attacker special attack stat and for Shaker Simplicity just made defense equal to the average defense of all Pokemon if a physical move or the average special defense of all Pokemon if it's a special move after that bam we had a formula for damage so right now we are both canonically supposed to be level 50 people reflect that for specific moves only moves that are established as Pokemon moves okay well that's not it God damn it Nick I don't play Pokemon wait this has to be Thunder yes sir Pikachu and pichu's downbear strong moves in Smash and Pokemon and with Pikachu specifically he does double the damage he'd normally do that's such a joke no that's fake that was made up by the the Sakurai how did that rage dude you're actually Ash's Pikachu finally got me blasting up again uh you're gonna crack for a sec I I don't know how that didn't kill okay after smash is greatly reduced thundershock is Pikachu's forward Smash and is nerfed by six damage points in Pokemon yo yeah let's go okay okay I'll give you a free move Canon damage but unfortunately we weren't able to implement them since the damage for his specials are hard coded instead we accounted for the moves that use his master sword ah why'd I do that oh bullish yeah that's kind of crazy his arrows were supposed to be canonically represented but unfortunately they could not be changed due to being hard-coded however his upper Dash arm does 99.2 damage in its melee Dash so uh yeah good good choice pop it oh okay okay is of course based on his iconic Spin Attack which does 30 damage in breath of the wild with the master sword if you aren't using it in the presence of evil and it's an alright guy so here we are all right wait hold on can I hit you with one free move we had I don't want to die before I use it okay okay there it is baby the dash attack yep and breath of the wild jump attacks do double damage so it does 60 here all right ready let's fight all right [Music] Charizard got a number of moves that do hella damage with Flare Blitz okay okay the monado sword is a busted ass [ __ ] sword and in jrpgs like Xenoblade Chronicles you can get ludicrous damage here we have the damage calculation in Xenoblade 1. taking the strength stat of shulk at level 50 and the attack stat of the monado times the art power of backslash shulk's Ivy now does a total of 2 581.5 damage it does double that if you hit them in their back cloud is also a mick jrpg anime guy and so he does stupid damage as well with the Buster sword having an attack set of 18 and assuming cloud is at level 50. we got a solid amount of Base damage for his special moves I've never played Final Fantasy 7 but from what I interpreted it seems that all of cloud specials actually do the same amount of bass damage however it's the limit versions that spice things up all right I'ma bust your ass listen listen wait wait before so this has a lower R power than backslash and so it only does 2022.18 damage so yeah not a very viable move [Music] foreign limit break that inflicts 3.25 times the damage that cloud can in game come on baby come on come on come on wake up can I offer you a deal I will let you do a fully charged smash attack with Buster art if you let me do any limit move that I want I'm sure okay I'm gonna kill you with this it's right in the dick okay well that kind of sucks the only thing in shark's kid that actually gets nerfed is shulk's Buster art because Buster art only does extra damage to the mechon regular beings are not impacted thus no extra damage buff and so now it's my turn uh while only doing one percent in Smash finishing touches actually Cloud's final level 3 limit break and does exactly 3.124 times Cloud's normal attack power I was hoping I could troll you with the shield monado but that's it uh not else yeah yeah it's a
