good afternoon my name is Rachel Michelle Michelle nice to meet you so it's Vishal it's going to you and you're doing grade five today can I see your ID please thank you very much that's lovely thank you there are two parts in today's exam we'll start with your topic and then we'll have a conversation about two subjects can I take your topic forum thank you ah so we're going to talk about your native country is that India that's right that's me okay right so let's let's start with historic places you know there are a lot of historic places in India what are the top three that you've been to so I'm from the southern part of India but we have got the North India as well so if you have been to India and have traveled to North in day you could see the Taj Mahal which is really huge and a lot of people all over the year come and visit the place and you have got the Gateway of India and if you come to the southern part of India we have got the Jewish synagogue in fort cochin actually yeah not really but it's my really wish that I could visit one of these places yeah I've went to the fort cochin but not to the Osmo yet I mean I like visiting historic places but actually I prefer going to the beach what about you yeah I know I've been - I've been to go actually and I've been to some of the beaches there which is in Punjab in Cola they're like really good pictures and a lot of you know films Bollywood films which have been shooted over there and you've mentioned here the southern part of India so have you have you always lived in the same area yes I have yeah so that's where I've started my schooling and I've been there for like 10-15 years no interesting you've mentioned the currency because actually I was in India when it happened well the generation the D monetization yeah and the long queues were you I was in the UK actually at that point of time so it was not that badly affected do you think it has made any difference to be honest the government claims they have made a lot of difference but personally I I don't think it has made much difference but still we are looking forward as mr. Modi has been reelected as the you know Prime Minister for next year I think one of the reasons for the D monitor ization was because they wanted everybody to pay I think they are trying to make it more secured way of more secure and transparent way of banking and business so yeah so that would help a lot I think yes because you've mentioned monuments here and I I thought do you think there'll be a monument to Modi could be there very soon yeah have you got a question for me about anything we've talked about have you visited any of the historic places whenever you weren't in India yes I the places you've mentioned I have there are some caves outside Mumbai that I'd like to go to okay is it have you been I don't mean ah do you think you will yeah one day would you yeah lovely well thank you very much for talking to me about thank you thank you for India so we're going to talk about something different now we're going to talk about entertainment of course you come from India Bollywood yeah and and I think a lot of films from the south as well yeah we have got so we have got Molly Wood as well as Hollywood yeah yeah at the Molly Wood yeah the Molly Wood the Malayalam movies yeah yeah people you know some of the films have been shooted in places in Kerala like as I said moon or take carry but because of the huge kind of investments made in the film industry these days like a lot of films are being shot in London as well yeah so there are films which are children in London even especially in Croydon which do you prefer then Hollywood films all I prefer both actually so it's more about you know dancing and singing in the Molly Wood kind of Phillips I believe though that the films have changed that they're very long aren't they they are it's it stays around like two and a half to two they are yes to another oh that's not so long I thought actually they were longer no way I think they have made it much more shorter so that you know people could have and they've made like real elements to come out from it yes they're more they're more realistic more realistic than the previous and do you think that that will change I don't think because it would produce because of the new you know technology and everything coming up you know people who have no time you know spending shorter films would be more interested for will it happen I wish it would happen ask me a question about entertainment or anything we've talked about so which was the you know movie which you had recently see let's talk about festivals now do you have a favorite cultural or religious we have got Onam as the festival of Kerala where you know people gather together the family members gather together and also we have Christmas which is celebrated everywhere yes so yeah these are the two times when you know to really come in festivals which people gather together spend their time with the family eat delicious foods I think Indian festivals are often very long how long is this autumn is basically 10 days really so 10 days care students I mean those those go to school and colleges they get 10 days of holidays oh so two people prefer celebrating that rather than Diwali I prefer on him because I hail from Kerala but there are people who prefer to volley as well we just you know celebrate in the northern part of India which is more of lighting actually I'll be in India for Diwali this year this year I will will what will I see what would I do do you think you could see all the probably the buildings and the houses everywhere it's completely lighted during night times and yeah it's really amazing to see so there will be things to say Norman tells us but there are other like places as well yeah so yeah it's looking good have you celebrated Diwali since you've been here no really no really so it's not important for India not much as it's celebrated in northern yeah yeah yeah that's interesting well thank you very much for telling me all about festivals thank you and nice to meet you that's going to do sir thank you good bye
