[Music] hello my name is Percy Ostrovsky and I'm going to show you today how to make royal icing with egg whites because a lot of people have asked me about royal icing and you know it's so important to know how to do it so I'm going to show now everybody asked me how many eggs on how many powdered sugar depends because all the eggs and different sizes and then what I'm going to show you the consistency how to do it and it's very very simple so I already have the egg white that it came from the refrigerator it doesn't have to be room temperature or any of those things okay I'm just going to put it over here alright and then we are going to add ten eggs be sure it's a 10x if you don't have the thing X powdered sugar you should sift it alright because it's a lot you know for it for eggs has a little bit of the regular sugar is not good for decoration I'm going to at least look what I'm doing I'm just going to add do you know what these are I use like five eggs or six and then just add a little bit of sugar here just like that alright and if you setting X you don't have to sift it or anything now super duper duper important you don't use the whisk you use the palate because if you use the whisk it's going to be a lot of air inside the egg white can you don't need that okay so we are going to put it over here okay and this a little bit noisy but I'm sorry about that alright I never you cannot do it in a fast speed okay so you know you can do something else while that sugar the consistency that we are looking for is like a toothpaste consistency all right so the important thing about doing this royal icing is that it takes a while meaning that inglis intimate starts yes when you are locals you see it really needs more sugar more she were here now if for any reason that takes a lot of sugar you just another egg white you know we're a little bit of egg white and that's it so it's not like to say consuming information like the super need for Oh or should I communicated survey nice okay a little tip you always wrap only things with a rubber band keep it and I don't have to go with clips or anything you pick all right I and usually when I use like takes a X or 5x or setting a I use little like a little bit of glucose and the reason why I use the glucose it's because it makes it stronger and it makes me boil I see shiny -
