okay here we are doing the first part of the seasoning process the crucibles I'm heating it up in the oven to about 350 degrees so we can get all the moisture out before we do the other seasoning process with the borax flux this is supposed to help the crucibles from cracking and so that they'll last longer so we'll come back after it's heated up for about an hour or so that should be good hey guys maker CK here and today I'm doing the first run of the propane torch that I got and with that first me probably here to the background accident pretty loud pump it out 25 psi I believe anyway I'm seasoning the crucibles that I got as well so I put four acts in there and I've thrown it in the Forge and the heating company wouldn't melt I'm gonna cook the inside of the crucibles and then after all that style get busy operate whatnot so I'll give you a peek here of the forge it's the first run hooked up to the propane [Music] and what I'm doing is seasoning the crucibles so I have filled the crucible about a third of the way full full of borax a little little one in there right now as soon as it's melted he's melting a little bit get a better picture of it here when it's melted we'll make sure the inside is coated and that we'll see use it [Music] [Music] okay we're just gonna coat the inside of this with the borax if I can get another angle so we're trying to coat the inside just season it it's supposed to help it to last longer spilling something that more acts but it's okay they're its bet easier okay be all coated nicely and that should help it to last longer
