Making clay and grog crucibles for melting metal

right this is my mold for making crucibles that's a centerpiece there and I made attempted to do nesting jobs a bigger one and and in a one this the nest quite nicely to give a a bit of a gap between them for the thickness of the year the crucible that was the one the tire I used for that one and this was the one I used for this one but actually cooked the on the mold and I cut the spelt off so that I can actually turn this one I'm the molding the year the crucible just put two pegs in there to locate it [Music] let's descend for the mold this goes nothing like that it's located with some screw holes we just spray it down there it is ready it's the inner section on its the outer section and just basically Ram the the grog and clay mixture into that then put that on top and push that out so it D molds this is the grog all it is is crushed a firebreak quietly make three crucibles of that sort of size about liter so I'm going to use 202 22.2 liqueur 2 litres of fire clay and 1.7 liters of grog and I'm going to add five hundred and fifty milliliters of water five for the fifty millimeter with the water mister sort of consistency quite dumb clumps together I'm just going to leave that overnight and let it mature a little bit [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you [Music] [Music] you
