some questions we're in my living room right now we're not in florida we're not it looks like florida doesn't it but we're not um and we're going to be answering any questions you have and uh this is all leading up to yes ashley um hi everybody so this is all leading up to the ship's creek finale happening in america in how many minutes guys 31 31 minutes i hope you all are excited um because we are and um you know this is gonna be very impromptu i'm holding my phone it's gonna be a half hour of me holding my phone his left arm right anything can happen trembling um we got some friends here we got twyla's here hi um we got lucky who does our makeup on the show is here we got clarissa who's here we got all of us sort of sitting around just getting hi everybody so we're seeing the questions down here is what's happening you're all i hope you're all excited about tonight i will say that tonight's episode of the show is my all-time favorite episode we've done so far me too um it's a little touching guy it's a little touching there's there might be some emotion there might be some feels getting in there um so i want to see some questions oh here's a question dan are you anything like david in real life [Laughter] no no no i like to say like if i if if like if any kind of filter was removed from me and who i was as dan i guess i would be i guess i would sort of be like david i think it's sort of liberating how free david is to just um you know say whatever he say whatever he feels i think there's something liberating about it all out there whether that's like good or bad um okay hold on it's going so fast will any of the seasons get released on dvd yes both seasons in canada are released on dvd i don't know when the release is in america um but you know what i'm sure someone in this room can figure that out we have just a team full of people here just having fun no it's not gonna be sarah okay uh do you enjoy working with your dad and catherine such percent to 120 yeah i think yeah um okay the blouse barn owes me a lot well they gave me some in in last week's episode i got a pocketful i did well yeah um and that suit was very tight to wear do the people of goodwin ontario enjoy you guys hanging around town yes yes we've they've warmed to us so for those of you that do not know um shit's creek is actually located in a little town called goodwood ontario um which is where we shoot every day um and they are lovely they're lovely and goodwood is literally an intersection and it's bob's garage cafe tropical and the general store and then on the other corner is the place oh you guys we've been through this you don't know what butter tarts are so never mind that's a do we have to explain what a butter tart is again they're over there we can actually show them we can show you so to all of you in america we're celebrating today i'm just serving up faces for you these are butter tarts and they are a canadian specialty and they are essentially like pecan pie in a little tart filling and um i know that they don't have them in america so you know it's always nice to learn something new little canadian um canadian whatever my apartment sort of looks like we're in like a jlo video or something doesn't it have you seen the new video the one where she's working a little weird okay next question um hey marg asks uh can we ever look forward to some shit's creek merch yes we're actually working on some shit's creek merch and i want you all to know that the reason we haven't done any yet is because we want it to be really really really good not just like shitty t-shirts and stuff that you don't care about that have like the logo on it give you a rash you know we don't want rashy t-shirts so we're working on like very premium merch um and i will tell you this when it comes out it will be limited edition so expect that drop randomly at some point this year because it's going to be some fun stuff we're like drake we're like beyonce we're like beyonce andre you're beyonce i'm drake basically yes um that's all i've ever wanted um okay susannah uh asks do you play practical jokes on each other we get this question a lot and probably because you do play practical jokes on me all the time by just not talking to you that's not a practical joke well you like put spit in my ear and stuff oh i do i do no no that's not okay but that's not a problem i guess joe i guess if we're playing practical jokes on each other i can um tell annie right now live on our um web stream that i've been distracted by the long black hair growing out of a little um bump on her arm this one that one i i almost plucked it this morning and then i did it it is a long black hair growing out of get it away oh it matches with your ear hair they're gonna get married um practical jokes not so much but um hi everybody someone just said their family adores us so i say hi to them unfortunately your name was scrolling quite quickly up the frame and i couldn't see but hello to you um who's the biggest joker on set chris elliott chris elliott i think particularly around my dad oh chris chris makes eugene giggle like a tiny little school boy he goes out of his way to make my dad laugh at any and all costs yeah he goes to the grossest possible limits of humor into not even in its past it goes past humor and just gets eugene crying someone just wrote who are you who are you who are you who are you and what are you doing on our facebook chat but also who are you really or you know what maybe he was asking like more metaphorically like who are you i know i know that's going to take a minute to answer everything i might cry if i think about that um uh suzanne another question suzanna has much curiosity um who ruins the most takes by cracking up i would say again your dad and your dad because chris he can't handle chris and chris goes out of his way to make eugene break people think that i'm laughing in the show dan tries to blame it on um no it is the character the character laughs at his parents and some people think that that's um uh sorry we just have some pizza showing up we just got really excited that the domino's is here um yeah chris makes my dad crack up but everyone thinks that i laugh during the show but it's part of the character well you and i had a really hard time first season especially with catherine because katherine just comes down never know what you're gonna get you never know what you're gonna get from take to take like she comes with these like ridiculous things out of left field when the light bulb and first season oh yeah when she's searching for the light bulb when she's lost her um diamonds that first scene of the very first episode um you you can see me putting my horn over my mouth and that's because i couldn't i couldn't do it with a straight face yeah so it is difficult it does get tough um marcus thank you best comedic cast in history are you ever going to do one of these with emily yeah so here's a little guys first of all thank you here's a little information on god where emily is right now emily is currently on set of shit's creek shooting season three so she can't be with us today but hopefully during season three we'll get emily involved and um she can she can be here why haven't i shot any of season three you're not in it um oh when does season three start legit still wondering who you are legit why are you still in the chat i'm wondering don't be a mean girl well i just hashtagged what the show is and we're talking about it okay let's um um okay what are we doing here emoji eyes emoji heart emoji poop um you love imitating our voices that's fine i'd love to see that we should have a contest for best david and alexis imitations well there's a lot of 12 monkeys crossover that's something we're gonna have to ask emily about to get real weird could get really strange um but nothing's off limits um is dave you get murdered first is david going to take over blouse barn well i don't want to spoil it for you um oh you mean after it went under that's an interesting question and something that we will be potentially exploring in the third season of the show potentially i'm not gonna give anything away but i am gonna give away potential scenarios that may or may not be from the ship's creek happening oh the shit's creek page from uh kim f dan what's the best advice your dad has given you kim f dan what is the best advice your dad has given you keep those brows under control although he does the opposite he doesn't they're very under control i try to keep them under control um i would say he's very professional is that the advice that he well it's like through his actions he has led by example that's a form of advice i would think right good good i'll take it i'll take that one more shirtless david scenes so many shirtless david scenes you guys be careful what you wish for so many shirtless david scenes coming up it's crazy uh and then max v says i fell in love with your talent face and humor will you marry me i hope that's for me i have a strong feeling it's for dan i'll take any marriage proposal at this point so oh do you keep stuff from your wardrobe i'm not allowed yeah you are what well no i mean no you're not but we are yeah some of the stuff you'll be able to keep i think like what i don't know that's dan for you to decide dan has contributed some of his own personal wardrobe to wardrobe that's a whole other game and a whole other chat is it though because i think that there's a certain going through the season drop crotch pants that made it on to season two um that may or may not sarah uh has asked how much of the show is improvised not as much as you might think very little a lot of it is in the script and then once we um get the scene on its feet then we sort of play around a little bit um there's a question from emily hampshire off the pop uh page emily hampshire uh tell me about it it's uh does annie murphy love emily hampshire than most of anyone does annie murphy love emily hampshire the most if anyone yes i guess i could just come out and say it that emily and i are in a full-blown relationship that's such hot gossip isn't that hot that's hot gossip and i do love the fact that emily is on the live feed on the shit's creek page um i mean we forward to um mini moose asked uh where do we shoot the show we shoot the show in toronto in toronto ontario yeah and also in a little place called goodwood ontario which is about 45 minutes north of the city okay i didn't put fluffer together when i said it are you getting [ __ ] people were talking about fluff anyway i meant crowd pleasing oh crowd no what am i trying to say i don't even know at this point i'm trying to say that we're we're pumping people up for the big finale that's happening soon here it's not going very well oh okay um joe de becky asks how extensive was the casting process um we looked through particularly for your character through like thousands of people and then settled on you thousands yes thousands and then just said you know what we give up like i guess she's the next person that walks in the next person that walks in will take and it happened to be you so what great fortune the greatest of fortune for you all fortunes um when does season three start i don't we don't have dates yet but i'd venture to guess that it would be early next year because we still have to finish shooting it we have to edit it we have to polish it we have to do all those things we have to fluff it um okay so what else is david gonna get it on with the front desk girl again i forget her name lol um emily well stevie is who you're referring to played by the amazing emily hampshire who is participating in this chat via a question and answer somewhere else she'll show up here again soon um and i oh here we're back um yep so maybe maybe not maybe someone new comes in maybe someone anyway i can't give too much away but someone might come you might i think this episode will answer some of those questions you're doing great i'm doing really badly at trying to influences influences well i've always been um i've always been really crazy about kristen wiig she's great she's pretty great she's really great but i love um john cleese not that he's an influence but i've always loved john cleese of course he's a comedic influence but i don't try and model my behavior i think you look a lot like john cleese okay moving on i guess i love love annie look how nice that is oh my gosh francine oh francine hi um how did the idea for shit's creek begin um well i had um this little idea about a family losing their money and i brought it to um my dad and we started to discuss what that would look like and uh then we stumbled across a little article on um the actress kim basinger um who at one point had bought a town as a as a business investment and it didn't work out in her favor and they thought well what if this family bought a town and everything sort of stemmed from there hello from goodwood hi hi everybody um brendan asks hello from uganda what's happening here is our show in uganda this is we're connecting what annie is the hot vet back next season i don't know i don't know if he is or not shout out to the the amazing dustin milligan who plays hot that ted um brendan says can you make the episodes longer no okay stephen says why is alexis's hands always down like why are like sorry that say it again right you get another try well that's how it's written here it's my why alexis's hands always down like a sad puppy um i really like that image i'm probably not gonna be able to think of anything else um but alex oh they are you're blanket as well are there more scenes with david in the farmer's field ah no i think that the past is in the past all i kept thinking was those there might be ticks in here who knows what's going on especially with that hood you were wearing um did i hillary did i draw from my own personal style when it comes to the characters um no but i think it i think we did sort of think about what would make oh i'm lazy emily hampshire stevie is now in the chat on my page just typing you guys in capital letters i don't know how to respond of course we're answering now we see her you guys could
