[Music] half hour alright we're back with the cast of shits Creek cocky shits Creek airs Tuesdays at 9:00 on pop TV thank you also to hidey-ho and Chelsea Piers as just talking during the break about the wonderful sketch that I think is probably one of the most famous sketches that came out of sctv half-wits which was so great in which you played a Alex Trebek I played an Alex Trebek hunter oh that's hike you the original half-wits before it's was think it was its own show okay played Alex Trebek yes who gets frustrated with the kid with his panelists yes but it came from a sketch that Katherine wrote called hike you when you wrote hike you yeah yeah okay explain what that was academic quiz show yes where schools competed with each other and and then you know and they get so out of control that Alex Trebek trouble as I called him up kind of loses it yeah and the the the great thing about that for me was that I was I I don't need lenses anymore I can actually see like I've you know had laser but back then back then I couldn't write and I had to take the glasses off to do Alex Trebek and every every kid on had their name written on there and the school written on there and every time I had to go to a particular person it's like I couldn't I couldn't actually see what their name was so I had to memorize every single did they did they don't have contact lenses back then or what what's going on we know if they were safe half-wits was really insane because at least the high school the high Q thing we tried to pretend we were students but they just gave up any brains on how you were in half-wits right no I was gone oh no no no Marty sure his character said his morning milk came from cats yes before we got to the remaining callers I just for each of you do you each have a favorite episode of shits Creek Inn in the six-year run first in the last is that right the first in the reality show yep that's probably true actually the first was the most exciting and the last was just like most like yeah yeah a lot of a lot of heart there I would have to say I would say for me it could have been the coming out episode that patrick has with parents yeah that's a great episode I'm - what about you Annie well there are a lot of them I had a great time doing a little bit Alexis but I also had a great time being serenaded by Catherine O'Hara in the graduation when Alexis graduates from high school yes and a serenaded by Moira that was a pretty special day I'm assuming a little bit of Lexus is your interpretation of a LuAnn de Lesseps song Jim I mean this is all Annie Murphy Oh Annie you Wow her and her pals put the whole song together and she brought it to us and we were like yes were you inspired at all by any of the shitty housewives songs or well it wasn't so much the good housewife songs it was a lot of Britney okay and a sprinkle of Paris alright yeah and Dan lastly do you have a favorite shits Creek episode I mean I think I'm I'm very proud of the coming out episode but I think my favorite episode is our last yeah Wow and you haven't seen it yet yes well I think it let's go to Emily from Texas hey Emily what's your question for the cast of shits love y'all so much but my questions for cami okay since you spent a lot of time watching reality TV stars to get inspiration for the character Alexis which reality stars were your biggest influences for her well kim k and the gals kim k and she she's a recurring inspiration are you guys right everyone Lindsay Lohan the Olsens Wow deep dive yeah okay I like that I collected bits and pieces I like your overall let's go to Nick what's your question hi Andy first off I love you I'm hands-down your biggest Canadian fan and I'm so happy for you baby band and all your success thank you but my question is for the iconic Dan levy but if you want to call me back of course what does it mean to you to have the final season of a show that you created to have massive billboard ads if you're kissing another man and did you ever think you would see something like that growing on it that's a great question and no I did not and I think that's why it means so much to me and why I push so hard for it you know I think our show has ultimately been an expression of love in all of its iterations and I think you know to celebrate this last season with a giant two-story billboard of two men kissing on Sunset Boulevard is the most badass move we could have pasta and I could not be more proud of it and proud of the show and everything that the show sort of stands for so yeah it was a big moment for me and I'm just networks supporting these voices and these stories and I couldn't be more proud of our networks in terms of networks would not be putting those billboards up that's just a fact so when did you come out to your dad 18 when you were 18 I think about 18 and I believe yeah that was it and I believe it was mom who just actually just said okay over lunch one day and I got my mom a close relationship in that sense and she it almost felt like she knew that I was ready and I think jeans trying to say he knew - he also we do yes for the longest time but it was the longest we were wait we were we were waiting and then mom couldn't wait any longer so she okay let's go to Spencer from New York City hey Spencer what's your question Andy so this question is for everyone in the cast and it's a two-parter so first what was your reaction to Kelly Clarkson calling out how much she loves the show at the Critics Choice Award and then what did you guys talk about with Nicole Kidman on the red carpet well Kelly Clarkson I actually bumped into her backstage at the Critics Choice and she just kind of what she went you know kind of crazy and I went I went crazy because I loved Kelly Clarkson I didn't know I know that I know that Dan Hannah yes has a bit of a history because in a Kelly Clarkson music video that's how much I love Kelly Clarkson yes what video behind these hazel eyes shot in Toronto Ontario thank you so much yeah I already guessed at her wedding deep Cayenne when you a guest at her wedding not her real wedding well then that's all the counts and when when when Dan was doing MTV in Canada for seven eight years he did about three interviews with Kelly Clarkson oh they had great interviews Wow but anyway they were so excited no I think they were babe you they were but anyway we were both excited and then that was it up up up up up ah and then then she walks out on stage and then gives me a nice shout-out though when you know you're going to lose the award it's always good when the presenter proclaims that you're her favorite I don't care that's a question last call tonight hi everyone this is a question for the whole cast and I'm just wondering is there a chance we're gonna hear simply the best by Tina Turner like perhaps during the wedding and then the second part of my question is actually have you guys heard from Tina Turner herself about the question about the song at all being used i I I don't know about the first part of your question but the second part of your question no we have not but she's a very busy and important woman so I don't expect that from her I think just are honoring her in that capacity is enough and to be perfectly honest there's only so much we can take there's been some lovely thank god I love you riah Carrie tweeted and I almost had a heart attack so I don't need to be put in a grave okay I think we're good as is that was a great what a what a great reinterpretation of that song no a real did it have and when it started I was like why do I know this song what song is this what is happening and then I was like oh my god this is poor I mean amazing yeah the Queen's loved it too they're excelling over there I want to thank Catherine Eugene Tuesdays at 9:00 Thanks I do and so she peers tonight everybody [Applause] thanks for watching watch more clips here and subscribe to our channel here see ya
