SAYING GOODBYE TO OUR HOME

back again we've been kind of talking about it we've been hinting at it but it is the move out vlog so kristen tell us more we yeah sold yes our house yes we did we began the packing process um we'll show you the boxes we have packed but today i thought it would be nice to kind of like go through our house pack up a little bit talk about the memories yeah talk about the memories what we loved about this house the little um quirks about it so let's start with the front door you ready any memories here you know actually when we first moved in i was like i want to change this front door and it's just one of those things that you just don't do like it's funny how when you move into a house you're like i'm gonna do all these things and then if you don't do it right away you usually just don't end up doing it totally so that's what i'm gonna keep in mind for our next house is just to like do the stuff we wanna do and then move in and then enjoy it wait the most important thing should we show them the baby oh my gosh let's show them so i have a little secret what's the secret you think these are leggings but it's not oh my gosh nice there's a bump for sure 18 weeks today the size of a cucumber what the heck are cucumbers like this the baby's like this kind of so it's all confusing i feel like i'm very happy that we're packing and moving when i'm not like 30 weeks pregnant you know what i'm saying because then i'll be even more tired but we had to give you a little baby update so to move our house and this is kind of one of the things you have to figure out is how many boxes do i need how am i going to ship my stuff we are actually selling a good bit of our furniture to the person who's buying our house so we don't have to bring that much stuff like i would say they bought like 60 60 of our big items so we don't have to move a ton of stuff which will be nice to you know kind of like start over in our next house yeah but should we show them what we've packed already it doesn't look like we have a lot packed but everything that's on the wall and all the plants are staying with the house we've pretty much taken down all the decorations wouldn't you say yeah all the decor look show them that [Music] show them this this empty all these these like little cabinets empty all the storage and all the storage underneath here empty these are like mainly all of our decorations i had to actually dedicate a whole box to just my baskets should we go to the bedroom where it all began didn't it kristen taking some last minute pictures of her dying plants yeah i've been letting all my plants die but they're not dead i'm gonna water them today i've just been feeling a little they're wilty let's be honest though this thing has been dead for over a year just sitting here this and this have been dead yeah the stream yeah the stream might have a little bit of light it's roasted for sure now to the room with all the magic welcome to our bedroom by the way i don't think we said this before but if you wanted to see your house like a full house tour we already have that up on my channel so if you wanted to see it before it got all packed away but here's our bedroom and we love this bedroom and it's just like a nice little cozy room and what do you like about it i don't know what else that mirror actually always freaked me out to be honest like in case of an earthquake because we had a couple earthquakes while we were here that was the one thing i always felt like is it just gonna go and oh no we also oh of course the second to last thing we literally had this tv for one month before we moved which is so sad we're not taking these with us because again the people buying our house are also buying our tvs it's honestly just cozy to kind of fall asleep watching a good show we've been really liking watching like property brothers on hgtv and we love to watch it on discovery plus which i'm sure you guys have heard about also discovery plus does not marcus says no but also i think we both forgot about this what did you forget about this i don't even remember what's under here me neither i don't even know if there is we probably didn't put anything under there i think that's it this is honeybee's bed oh my gosh what is this lennon's did you even know we had are these from our first rental house we got married the moment you've all been waiting for i know i know i know my closet the closet that you've never seen my whole life fits into this little guy right here so it actually looks kind of organized on camera and guess what i only wear the same three jackets and shirts every day so i don't even use any of this i probably wear like this much of my clothes yeah or less yeah totally but but maybe in the next house you'll get a bigger closet so how many of your clothes do you think you'll be getting rid of uh i say not many because i don't have that many clothes they'll fit into one single box that's true so i'll just take them all and then just like he he knows his phones anyway and then our bathroom i actually will miss this bathroom we put in a lot of work and time into this and we've loved this bathroom except for we used this tub one time i will also miss this shower [Music] that's disgusting i'm bathing i'm doing a fake baby it's disgusting maybe they can't see marcus said that we should take one or two plants no i i didn't say one or two plants you said one or two i said you can take as many as you want i don't care well this is gonna be one of them that we take because how can we leave this it's too beautiful okay that's the end of our room so in this room we're literally not taking one thing which is so crazy the person is buying the piano the couch the rug the coffee table all of that stuff over there so what you see here is all staying here not coming with us i feel like you're gonna miss the piano though because you didn't miss the piano you did write viral the musical on it nice also our dining table and chairs are also staying with the house these pictures are gonna come with us though you're gonna miss that i'm taking that huh i'm not anything in the kitchen i'm taking all my pots and pans you know i can't leave all of that i am taking this plant is this one too big to take it's a little big but i think you can fit it now instead of that having buns in that oven you have a bun in your oven yeah that's all that matters because home is where the belly is right home is where you are little baby look it's moving come on dude chill do you see your movie anytime someone touches my belly you feel it so our battery just died and i had to go in my office to get another one and when i was in there i caught a lizard and he's the weirdest lizard i've ever seen he's like got an extremely long tail he's very nice everybody pooped on me so i'm gonna go show kristen and get her reaction [Music] yeah the battery is good but i wanted to show you this thing it's a lizard okay [Laughter] [Music] look how long his tail is wow it pooped on your fingers you should sit here one last time on video because that is marx's spot this is my spot right right going through the plants he has to come together and they rush through this plant and it's just still kicking it's actually really good to move plants around because it it um kind of feels like wind to them really and then look i think this one grew so well because it's got this natural mist kind of dry my diffuser drops on it every day yeah yeah this is where i sat every day right here are you gonna cry no this is camper spot right here oh yeah totally and look how dirty he's made it and paint chipped it you did this yep i checked it man it just needs a little paint job but this is where he sits and guards the house you stink a tank chipped it man but also let's talk about my office i would say you did not come in this office that often never but this is where you know marcus and his dad built this closet for me well ikea did but we assembled it and it you might as well built it from scratch because it took like a whole day so long it was really nice to get ready in the morning here and i have my little kristen made shrine with all of our products should we take this plant that just keeps growing this is the plant that kristen wants to take i've already said now three times i'm taking plants but this one is special it's growing so fast okay now let's go to your office my office and the backyard let's go man my office you ready dude let's do it man all right here it is we completely redid this you remember this used to look like a bag of dog food out here and we made it look pretty nice kind of drowns out the uh the car noises and things you have to look at the camera else so this is all my stuff that i'm gonna throw away if i can't sell it but i'm just selling a lot of this crap trying to at least it's just a bunch of nonsense i'm taking these two bikes i stepped in poop that's poop right there just crusted my office or my speak louder they won't hear you my shed this is my shed everybody i tacked it up it's gone getting rid of these i was supposed to give this to that guy all right look i got rid of it all got a little bit more packing to do but it's mostly it's mostly done i gotta get rid of a couple couches this room was always a little twinkie it's always a little twinky i put in this whole attic and it looks so bad what the attic you know i'm just saying here look look i had all of the storage all of it i built it i put all i had to cut all the wood and put it all up here we can't hear you yeah it's great it's huge it's huge up here we're leaving all this furniture i'm talking loud because the fountain but this is where i would sit and have quiet time every morning and i'll miss that i bought this lemon tree like probably last year and it finally bloomed lemons and now there's so many giant lemons on it the tree won't even stand up straight so we're finally picking the lemons this is the first time we've ever picked him in the last time we're going to leave the tree for the uh the new buyers so ready yes oh it smells really good meyer's here grab this one how many lemons did we get like ten mini now what the heck there's thorns on this no it poked me too doink all right nice lemon tree this is our bounty oh and then we have a tiny premature small but fully ripe tangerine 10 lemons not bad should you eat the tangerine now yeah i'm going to eat this weirdo tangerine look at this it's so cute it smells like a tangerine okay let's see if i can i feel like it's gonna be really bitter pretty good actually actually yep like if it was large you could imagine it was good right it is so sour but imagine it's good though right i can imagine if it was okay good so we imagined it's good everybody imagined it i'm feeling a little emotional like are you gonna have the words emotional in the title with like asterisks next to it yeah i'm going to say tears warning emotional nice it's weird because marx and i were looking back at our move-in day vlog three years ago and we were sitting right here and we were talking about how this we would live in this house forever we would have babies in this house and it's just crazy how things change because i really didn't think that we did have a baby in this house though we did have a baby in it but we were like we're gonna have babies in this house which is true we did i feel like it isn't gonna hit me until we're driving away from the house for the last time and then i think i'm gonna get really emotional because right now i just feel like things are so busy totally we're just kind of going through the motions but it is going to be very oh it actually actually sort of just hit me a little bit for the first time of being like okay bye like i can't come in like i cannot just come in again it's like someone else's and they're like what are you doing in my house yeah like this isn't gonna be our home anymore which is weird and we're gonna go from having this home to not having a home for a little bit you're gonna be sad getting rid of it i'll be really sad because i just love this house is so special there's like nothing really like it it feels like it's gonna it's gonna be weird to leave but also i feel like we both feel very confident and happy and at peace with the next chapter of our lives and i think marx and i both knew we weren't ever going to want to raise kids in la so it was just the right timing it was the right thing to do but i know also a lot of you guys feel kind of sad about us leaving this house because you guys also love this house so much but let's just say bigger and better things to come and totally you know it's not about the house it's about the people in it and all the memories and we have definitely lived it up oh yes and every time we come back to la we're gonna say yeah let's try it by our old house yeah definitely wow and hopefully we come back and we go oh we're so glad we moved yeah i mean it feels like sadly that is kind of what you want you want to be like i am so glad we moved but yeah we'll see you know it's going to be hard it's going to be hard to beat this house that's for sure but now but now i feel like you guys are totally updated i know a lot of you guys already know where we're moving to where are we moving babe are you finally going to see we're moving to tennessee oh my god we're moving to tennessee but i didn't want to say anything because you know anything can happen but that's what we're living in a hoe and wall tennessee what's that some random tiny town there oh that's a good way to end the video with a little bang of information but i accidentally said it in my last vlog i was like i don't want to say we're moving yet and i was like then i said it and then i cut it out of the video but i feel like a lot of you guys probably already know where we're moving but we're moving to tennessee so we're doing a whole coast to coast transfer and um we'll take you guys along with us on the whole process i hope that you guys enjoyed this video there will also of course be more moving vlogs and
