PACKING OUR HOUSE + WHERE WE'RE MOVING

good morning guys it has been the craziest past few weeks and i have a lot to update you guys about but today i thought it'd be fun to bring you guys along with me through my day because we're just gonna be doing a lot a lot of packing today we are getting ready to move very very soon we've started packing a little bit but i feel like we need to get it going because like for example my whole office not packed none of our clothes are packed i've kind of gone around and done a lot of art decorations and stuff but today i need to start packing like everything so i'm gonna bring you guys along with me also random side note that i would only share because i know 99.9 percent of my viewers are girls but i'm used to wearing these shirts and not having any issues because i have such tiny boobs when i'm not pregnant but now i'm kind of like i don't know the boobs are growing and it's an interesting um change because i'm so not used to that and i almost feel like small boobs are just so easy because nothing ever looks revealing because there's nothing really to reveal and now i feel like i can't really just like wear these free people tops out like i used to because it's getting a little wild even though my moves are still really small they're definitely getting bigger while i'm pregnant so that's a it's a new discovery that i'm discovering but i'll show you guys my outfit of the day really quick very simple very comfy i'm just wearing this hat that i ordered from three people it's very cute also this cropped jacket from shop love street this crop top from free people my lululemon align leggings which have been the best thing since my belly is growing here's my belly currently currently 18 weeks and it's really poppin and then i'm just gonna put on some tennis shoes but we are gonna go pick up some see what i'm talking about never ever had to think about that before but we're gonna go pick up some bagels and uh then start packing lexi is here because she's gonna help me pack and let's just get this day started it is so windy look what happened our umbrella fell down our lawn chairs are all messed up i don't know if you can tell how windy it is you probably can't but [Applause] oh my [Applause] i don't know if i told you guys this or not but we went and picked up hanks you guys know i love hanks they're a little bagel place in the valley if you live in l.a you gotta try hanks i'm gonna miss it so much but i always get a sesame bagel with cream cheese but today i have never seen them put this much cream cheese on so i'm gonna maybe have to take a little bit off but look how good it's the best thing ever i've really been craving bagels throughout my entire pregnancy sometimes it's the only thing that sounds good to me at all like in the mornings when i'm feeling a little nauseous so i'm gonna go eat this and then we're gonna start packing very soon okay i am now going to quickly look over this video that marcus edited for our channel yesterday um we kind of just like went around the house and talked about all of our memories in the house and the things we're gonna miss and the things that we're also not gonna miss so much so that video might be up by the time this video is live i don't know i don't know when that video is going up yet but um i am just going to like look it over really quick like do the final edits oh my gosh honey is outside now she's barking he edits in a different editing program than i do i edit in final cut pro he edits in premiere pro he says i need to switch to premiere pro but learning a different editing program is like such an annoying process yeah look who i'm with my pregnant sis wearing kristen mane you are she is like the biggest christian made supporter i will say you're always wearing that sweatshirt or the other ones yeah or the love one another i forgot what it said for a second and john the other day said like love thy neighbor i'm like john they'll love my name but we got the dogs honey didn't want to come can you tell them how honey really didn't want to come honey because literally don't believe me they think i just leave honey no no you guys have no idea kristin got the leash for both of them both of the leashes honey went and pressed herself against the opposite wall in the house she was like this against the wall and then she got up and we were like okay maybe she'll want to come she went and hid underneath the cat the cow no the cabinet oh yeah the cabinet in the corner and she just laid there so yeah i was like just leave her she doesn't enjoy her at home she's a homebody she really is okay so we're gonna go hike and then we're gonna start packing a little bit of the house are you ready camper you ready [Music] we made it up the hill it was very hard for him us now what we all need from you is to show us your belly okay i feel like we haven't gotten to seen it see it as much as i want to see it look at that baby my pants are also on backwards she came up with a half of what i found out this is a legging hack for you pregnant women out there the better part goes in front it's more room i'm actually going to try that with my smaller ones i put them on backwards on accident and then i was like wait this is actually very comfortable so cute we're exactly one month apart you're gonna have actual cousins now how you feel about it okay we're back from our hike and i am heating up some soup that we made the other night for lunch for me and marcus and also gonna make a little veggie plate that is also something i've been really craving throughout pregnancy is just a big plate of vegetables one of my only like healthy cravings that i've had so we made zuppa toscana the other night here's what it looks like i'm about to heat this one up for marcus and then i'm just gonna have some cucumber bell pepper and tomatoes here is today's lunch and i'm very excited to eat this right now so i am gonna do a little taste test because sometimes people don't like when i show food and don't eat it on camera so let me do a taste test even though i ate this last night 10 out of 10 also i would recommend hummus or something with your veggies but also pretty good just sprinkled with salt so very good time to pack my office we're gonna start with the shelves because obviously all this stuff is just decoration and can just go in a box and put in the pod to be shipped so i'm going to do this and maybe some of this stuff as well [Music] so [Music] now we are doing more of the closet we already emptied out some of this and some of this but we're gonna do more good morning guys it is the next day last night we basically didn't do anything else worth videoing i think we just showered and went to sleep so i decided to take you guys along with me into today and today i've honestly just been cleaning up the house i feel like when you're packing your house has a tendency to look like an explosion happened and i'm trying to keep it all in one place like keep all the boxes in one place and make sure the rest of the house is clean because i just really really don't thrive in a messy environment so i just kind of went around today and picked up our house today is also special because it is marx and eyes almost the third four year wedding anniversary i don't really think we're gonna be doing anything too special today because valentine's day was four days ago and we spent some cozy time together and did some fun things and um today i think we're really just going to be focused on packing more also i don't know for sure if this is happening or not but we might be flying to where we're looking to move to see a house that just got put on the market it's been really hard to not be in the place that we're moving because we can't go see houses and you know find our house that we're gonna be living in so um one came on the market that we really really really love and so we're gonna go see it today i think we're gonna fly out but we'll see because i know there's been some like snowstorms and stuff like that and i'm not sure if flights are even really going right now but we're just gonna play that by ear in the meantime i was looking at our wedding photos on our wedding photographer's blog that she posted and it's just so crazy to look through all of the different memories so i'll show you guys this was the house that we got married at and they had a beautiful outdoor area which is where we actually had the reception and all that kind of stuff here's the tables under the pavilion oh my gosh it's so crazy to look back on our wedding day because i feel like we don't really go back and look at the photos and video too much but when i do all the memories fled back it was so magical here's me on my wedding day some nice little detail shots very cozy oh my gosh owen my sister's baby so so tiny at my wedding oh my gosh all my bridesmaids so special i feel like a lot of people that follow marx and i found us through our wedding video on our channel so if you're one of those people uh then maybe you've been following us for exactly like four-ish years now okay i'm gonna go post a little picture for our wedding anniversary and then i need to go read my bible and do my devotion i've talked about this devotion so many times but i still get some questions about which devotion i use and it is this it's called new morning mercies by paul david tripp i'll link it in my description box uh they have it on amazon that's where i got mine and it is such a good devotional because it goes through all the days of the year so let's switch over to today's date which is february 18th and i'm gonna read this and then i'm going to journal and then start packing again honey decided to join my quiet time this morning do you like hand in your hand since it was kind of late last night when i was showing you guys us packing i want to show you officially what we've packed so far i feel very good about it all of our decorations like i said pretty much are gone throughout the house like all the artwork we're keeping here's what the guest room currently looks like i don't think there's a massive difference in the guest room but we took down some of the decorations like on the side tables and i'm still deciding whether or not i should keep this big painting that i got from the thrift store i don't know if you guys remember when i was debating whether or not to get this or not but i feel like it is so beautiful i don't know those are like the hard decisions that i'm so bad at making on what to keep and what not to keep oh we also went through this closet i got rid of all of my bags that were up here and then packed away a bunch of our shoes so that's looking pretty empty and then i guess the main area that we packed last night was my office so here is what my office currently looks like it's honestly sad to see because i don't know i filmed so much in this room so and i also take lots of like videos and photos here so now that background is done and it's just like wow looks very empty also we took down my hats right here this plant is still growing up because i am bringing this plant with us i'm also taking this makeup chest with me selling this chair keeping this desk and so yes here's a bunch of my shoes and clothes shoes and clothes and then lots of office decorations we're going through all of marx's clothes and hats and shoes and packing them away in this box marcus has like no clothes or shoes so this will go by very fast this is how we're celebrating our four-year the anniversary packing the house kind of symbolic moving on to the new chapter in our lives now i'll do a little time lapse of packing marx's closet [Music] do okay marx's first bat box is packed you saw more to go i think we'll fit it on here i think so and then this is all that he's giving away we got two big boxes of marks is packed right here show them the finished product baby it looks so good do you feel like relieved like we did a big thing oh yeah and i just have my office like that we officially decided that we're gonna go to see the house that we are interested in seeing and if you're wondering where the house is it is in tennessee and i've been waiting a while to tell you guys that because you know we don't have a house yet and things are still up in the air but um we're really excited for the potential of moving to tennessee and i already kind of slipped in my last video and said it so i thought why not just tell you guys but i will keep you guys updated with the housing situation and we are only a little bit away from really being out of this house and it's just such a weird feeling so um please give me grace during this time where we are just so busy packing and moving and maybe my posting schedule won't be as frequent as it usually is but i'm still gonna try to get lots and lots of videos up so make sure that you're following
