in today's episode of how it's automated heavy modular frames heavy modular frames are a more robust multi-purpose frame than the standard modular frame they can withstand more weight and have a wider range of use if you have automated these you know what a pain they can be so let's lose some sanity and see how it's automated these pioneers started off with tapping some of the impure iron nodes the minor buildings simply tap on the iron and ask permission to take it once a firm handshake seals the deal the iron begins its journey to the first processing stage [Music] the first stage is a series of smelters that convince the iron ore to not only begin its training but go to college for a proper education iron ingots leave the smelters with the mindset to take on the world and begin their wavy journey to the next stage of production note the smelter buildings are underpaid to give them an incentive to work harder because that works once the iron ingots are cooled through a series of waves they enter the next stage to reach their true potential here they are turned into both iron plates which are squished iron ingots and screws which have a cross head that lack threads maybe they are bolts maybe rivets we will never know [Music] but what we do know is that for the most part screws can be avoided using alternate recipes if you do happen to find yourself making screws do not overmake them as you'll find that you'll constantly need more before you know it you'll end up like this guy who lost his mind making screws don't be like this guy now comes my favorite part the cake part wait there is no cake so it was a lie fine the next stage recombines the screws and iron plates into a more secure plate known as reinforced iron plates basically it is two iron plates screwed together the reinforced iron plates are then belted up a lift to the next floor for further processing seriously though where is the cake the cake will be here just stick to the script and keep going last time you said that there was no cake forget the cake we're recording just go fine the remaining screws and reinforced iron plates are then used to make the next required item modular frames inside the assembler buildings they cut up the plates into certain lengths and use the screws to create a cube i guess they should have been called cube cubes missed opportunity there all of that just to make a box one more component is made in this building that is the second item needed for the heavy modular frames you guessed it good old screws i told you it can get out of hand quickly as you can see two belts worth as needed as the screws will just take over it still feels weird calling them screws and i still want to know where the blue container comes from the screws and modular frames use the patented noodle belt lift method to descend all other forms of descending is prohibited by fix it go noodle belt go a train arrives just in time to haul the precious cargo to its next destination the train takes only the most efficient path to get to its destination so let's take a ride on second thought now that i see the track let's just break out the drone [Music] now that the items have been offloaded into storage there they will wait for the final two items steel pipe and encased industrial beams so strap on your headlamps and let's see how they are automated next we ask to wait until daylight to film in this location but the pioneers stated that it is in perpetual darkness but assured us there was proper lighting to begin the process of making steel pipe raw iron and coal is needed finding the right balance of coal to iron is a closely guarded secret to fix it and they would not budge fix-it would kindly remind you to not touch the minor buildings these mark iii minors are even more dangerous than their inferior counterparts translation bigauchy the coal in iron ore is built waved up to a series of foundry buildings to begin foundrying them inside each building the coal and iron are smashed into a powder while being heated to exactly 1698.15 kelvin there they merge and become one all-powerful steel ingot now that they have fused surely they can beat majin buu and save the planet from destruction [Music] steel ingots are now routed to a small gathering of constructor buildings half of these buildings are making steel pipe and the other half are making steel beams both crucial steps just take a look inside the constructor building i have no idea what i am seeing but it most certainly isn't steel pipe or steel beams this is the power of fixit technology and probably best left unasked [Music] from here the steel pipes are belted away to be prepared for transport while the steel beams are sent to another station for further processing in this location limestone is gathered as the steel beams need to be strengthened with the power of good old-fashioned concrete the concrete is mixed up in refinery buildings using just limestone and good old h2o although good for industrial purposes this water is not safe to ingest so please do not drink the water maple syrup will be provided if you are thirsty little bags of concrete are ejected from the refinery buildings in neat stacks from here they meet up with the steel beams that need encased the encased industrial beams are made in another series of assembler buildings this process is extremely power hungry so these pioneers made sure to have the proper power supply in their case they used local thermal geysers to provide said power requirements the assembler buildings pour the concrete in preset molds with the beams inside then through more fix-it superior technology the concrete dries in seconds it wouldn't be efficient if it took days to dry there they go in all their encased concrete goodness the encased industrial beams and steel pipe are sine wave belted and brought together to be loaded into another train station for transportation the train is the only way in and out of this biome don't forget your maple syrup in case you get thirsty during the ride the train transports the items back a long harrowing journey through many obstacles and biomes to the main hub please ignore the slug orgy happening here as it was the only take we could make along this path [Music] the train docks and the items are offloaded there they meet up with the other items and are all waived belted to their final destination as individual items as one pioneer put it wave belts are just the new meta and are more efficient at allowing the items to adjust to the outside
