Ryan learns about Animals with 1 hr kids zoo and farm animals for kids!

the animals are here he is a red rough lemur wow this bag his belly in his armpits he loves his armpit stretch and when i see yeah when i say scratch i read opens up for me dig by far one of my favorite primates in the whole world and it's just because he is such a laid-back personality demeanor yes he comes from the island of madagascar and these guys if they don't watch it will be extinct in about 20 years and that's because of habitat destruction deforestation and stuff like that so if they lose their lemurs on madagascar though the problem is within about 10 years after that a lot of the vegetation and trees are going to start disappearing because he's one of the largest pollinators in the world a lot of the plants and stuff in madagascar are indigenous means they only live on madagascar just like the animals a lot of the animals only live there as well so without their lemurs a lot of stuff just won't flourish and won't thrive and do well [Music] there you go you know how he got the name bearded dragon because he puffs out his throat really big right here like he makes like a giant beard and it turns black and he does that if he's trying to ward off something so he comes from the deserts in australia and uh they're just a really low-key like they'll sit and watch tv with you you can even sometimes when they get really excited when you give them crickets they bob their head up and down and they get super excited or they'll get really excited and they'll poke their beard out and they'll turn their beard black but if he even see how he's puffing it out now oh yeah oh yeah he'll he'll puff it out even even more [Music] you have to keep her front feet kind of bent up like this or you can hold her like a puppy like you would a puppy like this she is the tiniest species of fox in the world and if she wiggles just pull her back down she does like to lay a clock across your chest and snuggle as well she'll be three pounds when she's full grown she's not quite full grown she's gonna fill out and get a little broader she likes to give kisses so she's super super sweet girl she comes from the sahara desert so she can [Music] um they actually don't have to drink water every day either ryan's gonna try all [Music] right yeah they are super super quick little guys [Music] and he'll go back and forth that way too there you go blueberries are his favorite treat so he usually comes out and works really well for his blueberries his skin is actually blue and yellow the skin on top of his head underneath the black feathers is kind of the iridescent blue color when they're babies they look like little pterodactyls to me because their beaks don't have full color yet and they're kind of a grayish color whenever they're babies so if you want to hold them you're welcome to hold them and just relax whoa cool if you can solve the part so put your arms out and just relax the key with him is to relax like soft hands relaxed hands and stuff like that because if they feel like you're a threat then they they get super nervous you want to feed him a blueberry feed it on your hand like that okay flat hand and good there you go go closer you gotta get closer you can't reach it he's actually super gentle too a little isn't he his hand he only lives about 15 years whereas a lot of parents live up 60 to 80 years oh well unfortunately he doesn't have a long life span like a lot of birds do like this you can hold her but if you're not used to their quills it doesn't really hurt it just has a weird sensation so she can't hurt you with her quills okay but it will feel weird when it touches your hand since you're not used to it okay and she'll walk right off your hands you may have told her kind of close to you and go with her a little bit or use the blanket holder if she makes you uncomfortable she's got five to six thousand coils on her back oh whoa no clothes on her dumpster thickened herself she actually will roll up into a ball if she gets really nervous or scared you can actually completely hide her face oh wow in her inner stomach if she wanted to and she'd pull her clothes all the way down to where you can't see them whatsoever and then when the coast is clear they open back up [Music] and they're insectivores so they mainly bugs and stuff and you have to buy more you know a special diet they're fun now she likes to snuggle awesome so you can hold her up like this kind of a little close to you um and i'll give her some food as well and she likes to but she doesn't go around too much [Music] and she just shivers during the day anyways yeah is it too cold for her no it's not cold she's just looking kind of for a place to go hi ryan's going to try then rock your arms around and hold and hug here there you go and she likes to snuggle so kind of snuggle straight there you go you should snuggle that way she's descented so no worries she can't oh you can i think they can do that yeah you can totally descend them because she can't actually spray you but if she could spray she could spray up to 10 feet away two [Music] [Music] whereas the fox just wants to run and clay she sticks her tail up that's okay she can't hurt you today what is it yeah so some of them came here it is you get a closer look later do you see a porcupine do you like me they love you yeah so there's two other animals inside here it's a surprise [Music] you don't want to touch it well you can just you can touch it like this do you know where hedgehogs are from ryan oh they're found europe wow this one is one of the african kinds of hedgehogs [Music] you like the hedgehog good hedgehog well she can't really see them so what part of her how does she tell where she is yeah how does she tell her so hedgehog can i brush her hair you can't but they don't have very good eyesight so they get around with their nose and they can smell all kinds of goodies something really cute and adorable with hedgehogs if they find a smell they really really really like they will lick it she's angry all right see the next animal we need to be real quiet with her okay she's an even younger baby than you two and they have really good hearing so our loud voices can scare them she's actually a ring-tailed lemur hi you are more than welcome to pet her she's running diapers she does wear a diaper absolutely yeah you can put it you can gentle touch it two finger touch on the back okay two fingers there you go on my two fingers [Music] they're from the island of madagascar and there are more than 100 different kinds of lemurs in the world all from the island of madagascar did you ever watch that movie you should watch it yeah as long as you're not grabbing her trying to take her she's not gonna bite yet she's real sad yeah only animal i have that is actually from texas you will see whoa do you know what that is skunk yes you want to hold her yeah all right gonna need you to sit flat on your bottom and cross your legs and just kind of keep her there wow she's got a long tail she has a really long tail looking for a skunk you absolutely can she's really soft and friendly [Music] here you tail to wrap on the tree branches and hang from it oh wow that's called a pre-pencil you can tell her hello you can thank you for asking yes her favorite foods are going to be blueberries grapes fruits bananas so in the wild these guys eat nothing but fruits and leaves flakes yeah and they're from the amazon world can i touch here so minky here is a kinkajou and they are nocturnal animals who likes your pants though she's a very shy little creature [Music] go ahead and sit down for him hold on to him kind of tight because he will try to get away you can and just kind of hug her yeah he can hear bugs underground moving around and they help keep him cool in the desert heat you see all the veins in his ears i got a kitty [Music] another superpower is he barely ever has to drink i just can't talk to him yeah you can touch okay gently how long can a person go without water do you know [Music] two or three yeah good guess he can go a month easy whoa without water it's real common for desert animals a carrot it's a white carrot i don't think so this is mango he is a toucan [Music] he's eating hot mango [Music] do you want it there we go come on and get it [Music] how about me mommy mangoes use their long beaks like that in the wild to get into nice holes in trees where animals have stores nope only the birthday boy gets to feed him can i feed her no just a birthday boy just ryan how i'm looking at you you know i look you can see my individual hairs a little bit he could see every single individual hair on your head in perfect detail because their eyes are that good they're this is a alligator snapping turtle oh wow it's spikes on them oh he snapped so i'll show you in a second but alligator snapping turtles are the largest freshwater turtle here in north america so he is gonna get huge he's also a baby probably about five but he can live up to be a hundred and fifty that's okay yeah right you ready here we go now he looks pretty scary huh so um they also have very large counts they bite down very hard like an alligator so the bite force of these guys is super super strong now his head is really big so these guys can't go all the way inside their shell so i actually can hold this guy right behind his head and he cannot get my hand so as they get older and older they get lo really really heavy and that's how we actually pick up our big guys but again he's still young so i can hold him from the back still does he bite if you oh yeah he would definitely latch on to you that's why his mouth's open he's waiting for someone he's waiting yeah if anything touch it would close and oh wow you wouldn't get it back okay all right i'm just kidding it's a baby so uh this is a young nile crocodile she's about two years old um so she's still very young and super cute if they stay the size everybody would want one but they do not staring contest what if he actually breaks through the phone so he can't break the tape because his uh all his fight force is coming down they can bite down really hard but they don't open their mouth very hard so all their powers to bite down and not to open so when his mouth is closed that piece of tape will stay on and he can't break it off all right so the next one is an alligator um just to show you the difference between the two so again this is the nile crocodile we have the largest group here in north america we have over 100 miles now so good question why is there no tape on the alligator so because that looks more nice he's definitely nicer than the crocodile so crocodiles are very mean compared to alligators so alligators are still very dangerous animals but nothing compared to like a nile crocodile so these guys are found around us and they get about 12 feet and they mainly eat fish and turtles these guys again can get 20 feet and they eat big things like zebras wildebeest and even people so again crocodiles are a lot more dangerous than the alligator now look at the jaw shape do you notice something ryan [Music] do they look different this one's more smaller yeah the crocodile has more of a smaller pointy jaw the alligator and the eyes are different yeah the alligators have fattened round jaws so they have more of a u-shape and the crocodile's having it yes i mean he's a little older too i think his eyes are nice it looks nicer yeah alligators have the big uh puppy eyes where crocodiles have kind of the slanted eyes no this one's actually really good the reason why i didn't tape him though is because he's big and if he fit it would be a lot of pressure the little guys they don't generate that much pressure but this guy he's already pretty big and can bite down really hard so i tape him just in case but if i took that tape off he wouldn't try to bite us or anything now you're gonna notice the bones on his back are way bigger because he is older they're a little more developed um so he's going to feel a lot harder than the other guys oh wow even his belly not his belly again the bellies are nice and smooth they don't have those bones but the back um have all the bones going down all the way to their toes now it's bellies where people get boots and purses out of but remember gators are friends and not shoes right that's not very nice but these guys were uh critically endangered at one point because there was no laws protecting them and a lot of people use their skin but now we have around two million of them every zookeeper they interact different with which is really cool so they do recognize spaces they know their names off they'll stop that's pretty cool i just tell them to go to the water and they'll go into the water really wow they're very smart very smart animals all right wow is he heavy yes he's heavy yeah he'll keep his tail um and his legs together and he goes back and forth like a propeller he goes down he drops on his back and they work as breaks and then he goes through he wants to change he sticks his leg out and he goes and then he goes so that's how they move around the water they're very fast on land on land they can run about 15 to 20 miles per hour in the water they can swim about 30 miles per hour oh wow wow yeah they'll jump they alligators jump about a third of their body length and crocodile can jump about half their body wow wow from grandpa from grand postal nice try saying fine okay hey you say closer to you guys so you can see this blue tom now these little guys are from australia and uh skeets are known for their long bodies and these wee little legs so now he is an omnivore which means he eats plants and meat so this guy likes to eat bugs he likes crickets worms beetles his favorite bug ever is cockroaches do you like cockroaches no no they're pretty nasty but he loves to eat them okay touch them right here good job how does it feel weird weird snake it's nice yeah it's like a little dog so the next one is from south america ryan [Music] wow oh wow so this guy right here is called an argentine black and white tag and again these are from south america and this guy's a very good lizard very calm and the last one he's a little crazy and i've never set him down but this guy can hang out with us too now his tongue's nice and long just like the last one again he is smelling with that tongue um so he's picking up the particles out of there but these guys in argentina and he'll eat chicken nuggets oh wow so there it is a piece of his skin touch it that's pretty cool touch it it's dry it feels dry oh oh she's coming towards you i have a small finger there oh wow it is yeah they're pretty good farmers [Music] [Music] what do you think a wrap a rat you think i would just stick my hand in the back of the snake [Music] very yeah very friendly little snake so no worries here this right here is called a corn snake can we touch it yeah [Music] wow you wanna touch it [Music] and these little box turtles are omnivores so they eat vegetation what do you think it's inside what do you think i don't know i think something big something big so this guy is a lot bigger than our little box turtle we just saw this is a silcotta tortoise um so he looks pretty big but he's actually very young so that box showed us that she was full grown she was probably about 15 years old but he is only four years old so really wow he's young and he can live to be a hundred and fifty years old they live a long time this guy he's terrestrial so he doesn't land so he could go in the water for a very short period of time but he cannot swim uh these guys should float a little bit oh good job [Music] she really likes it yes [Music] [Laughter] [Music] i learned so much about reptiles did you yeah it's called an exotic zoo because there's exotic animals like a wolf over there oh i think it's a bear over there oh you guys can see we'll come over there later maybe it's a gorilla smash you in the face oh that's not very nice oh and there's just goats just chilling on the road they're just chilling mommy we have a lot of those easter eggs yeah we found some easter eggs so we're sitting on a table a bench what if i can't reach some eggs oh it's a bunny ryan it's a rabbit let's go do you see it ryan yeah pop like a bunny there's a cat i know there's a cat yeah yeah what's your cat's name ariel ariel he's very photogenic he is he's the best rabbit he just sits there he's really great that's where you see the line right there that's where his muscle separates and one's trying to wake the other one up oh they're so cute [Music] i think that the black one wants to to hang out the
