no Terry weapons thanks for watching be sure you're subscribed and leave a like on this video before you leave the ak-12 is a Russian five four five thirty nine millimeter assault rifle that was designed and manufactured by the coalition akov concert it is one of the modern derivatives of the Russian a.k pattern series of assault rifles the ak-12 project began in 2011 by the ich mash factory which became part of the collision the COFF concern as a private venture in an attempt to participate in the ratnick trials which were held by the russian army the rifle would be further developed by the collision of cough concern and throughout its development and evaluation stage has received multiple modifications to meet the Russian military standard and also to address the Russian Army's concerns regarding the cost and issues in fully automatic firing of the earlier prototype models it went through several revisions in order to improve upon the range of defects that were discovered on the earlier prototypes in fact the ak-12 would undergo rigorous testing completing its operational testing and passing military field tests in June of 2017 then completing testing in December of 2017 and in January 2018 being announced that it had been fully adopted by the Russian military then in August of 2018 the Arminian Ministry of Defence announced that they had secured the rights to manufacture the ak-12 in Armenia the ak-12 assault rifle is said to be liable more accurate and better suited for the latest Russian military requirements based on the a k4 hundred and still chambered for the five four five thirty nine millimeter cartridge it has a cyclic rate of fire of seven hundred rounds per minute a barrel length of four hundred fifteen millimeters a maximum firing range of eight hundred meters and a standard magazine capable of holding thirty rounds it's also compatible using magazines from the ak-74 the rpk-74 and the 96 round drum magazine from the RPK sixteen coalition the COFF ak-12 assault rifles are gas operated selective firing and use traditional type action with long stroke gas piston and rotary bolts locking in the standard coalition the COFF way firing selector levers are located above the pistol grip at both sides of the rifle and the ak-12 features three firing modes with a single shot of three-shot bursts and of course the automatic fire the muzzle of the ak-12 has been designed to shoot foreign standard barrel mounted grenades and it's fitted with a new hinged top cover the cover is a lot more rigid than previous a.k models and the weapon can be used by both left-handed and right-handed people and also easily handled with one hand the weight of the new aks alt rifle is around three point three kilograms Russia has the ak-12 that's based on the a k4 hundred prototype alongside it's a K 15 and have accepted both into service as of January 2018 decisions made on exactly which Russian Armed Forces troops will receive the ak-12 first should be solidified by early of 2019 until then the first production batches of this assault rifle will be stored by the fence ministry the ak-12 has a weight of 3.3 kilograms a cartridge that features a 5-4 539 millimetre round it's gas operated with a long stroke gas piston rotating bolt it features a rate of fire somewhere in the range of 600 to 700 rpms its muzzle velocity carries at a 280 to 900 meters per second with an effective firing range of 500 to 600 meters a maximum firing range of 800 meters and it has backup iron sights with integrated Picatinny rail for various optics thanks for watching make sure to leave a comment and a like on this video and I'll see you next time you
