out rush hour tonight yeah and uh this is actually one of the ones that I actually went to the movies and saw when it first came out really I think this was 1995 thinking about a 98 is what I saw when I was 48 yeah okay okay I I didn't know like it even went back that far but I said 95 96 but you said 98 okay I'm not really like I'm not super familiar with like the the rush hour uh because aren't there multiple movies Trilogy or whatever it is like the rush hour franchise yeah I'm not really familiar with it like I've seen like bits and pieces as it pops up but I've never sat and watched the entire movie yeah when I was what I don't know if I should say that out loud maybe we should take that bad about me ain't nobody can talk bad about you okay yeah now you could you could but this is one that I went to the movies and saw back in the day Chris Tucker hilarious he's like one of the best comedians for me that I've seen that's why I feel bad because it's Christmas when I was younger yeah Chris Chris Tucker was hilarious I don't know what he does now it's because I don't really keep up with like his comedy or anything yeah but Chris Tucker was hilarious back in the day and then Jackie Chan like pretty much probably like one of the best stunt man that does all his own stunts like like what better what's better yeah I don't know I don't know I did well I'll just I'll save it [Music] and when he was trying to like they both trying to like speak each other like language yeah it's like they made it look like it was easy but to see that many texts for them to try to like say that like say three words or vice versa a great in this in this form like y'all that's crazy Dave I really enjoyed watching this you did Chris Tucker Jackie Chan the dynamic duo yeah that I mean I would have never guessed like they would put the two of them in the movie like like something like this together and actually make it be what it is but now I can understand like as many times y'all do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth I've heard so many people say that before like I've even said it and I've never seen it in this movie so to see it for the very first time and and actually see y'all this movie is crazy yeah and one one thing it's a good movie one thing for me I wanted to ask you too like what do you think about like the stunts and stuff that Jackie Chan did because he said he did his own stuff and you kind of saw a little bit like behind the scenes at the end that was like one of the most that was like one of the things that I thought that was like so so stunning or or so like great about Jackie Chan is that all the stunts and stuff like he doing by doing his self I almost feel like watch doing those little pieces where he kind of messed up a little bit I almost feel like I wouldn't have believed you you'd have thought that because it just did just look like I'm like all of that there's no way because it looks so polished and it looks so clean like on camera when you see him do it yeah but yeah every single time well I guess the hanging from the lighting a huge thing but like the rolling off of the trailer and into the little trailer and out through the taxi cab and then everything he did at the pool hall even with the guy like them swinging sticks and stuff like that babe there's no way there's no way that this guy can do all of that and he does all of that I feel like like if he do his own stunts for every move I feel like his talent level I've seen a couple of other Jackie Chan movies that he he did the exact same thing too whether he like jumping out of a window or somebody's actually trying to attack him with an ax and they swinging at him and he like doing all these things to like Dodge it and and duck it and miss it like that's his face because like like sometimes when you see like you know fighting movies kung fu movies yeah and you see somebody doing stunts it's like they try to do like the camera at an angle where you can't really see that it's there the actor's face there's somebody else taking their spot doing it exactly but yeah but with Jackie Chan movies and with this movie here with rush hour it's like you see Jackie Chan doing all of it okay except for the part of the game when he failed right that wasn't real right yeah other than that yeah yeah yeah I don't know I don't see him doing anything like that like actually trying to hang from 10 stories and then fall yeah except for that part that's the only part I didn't think that he would have actually done that part just that part though no no that's crazy you know what I mean and now I see I believe the hype with rush hour y'all right and back and back then you when would you say this came out 96. um I think I saw 98 98 so like 98 like Chris Tucker for me back in like 98 like Chris Tucker was like probably one of the funniest comedians that was in Show Business at the time like Chris Tucker like even like you saw like a lot of his like lines a lot all those little slick lines that he would say it was like they were like almost jeans and it's like the timing is like almost spot on but he like tell his little jokes or say these little crazy funny lines yeah her own movie that's one thing that I thought that was really really great about rush hour is not just like the action but also like the punch lines like the jokes and the comedy yeah in between the action and the fighting and stuff I feel like this is like genius like like a perfect type of movie where you like combining like both perfect perfect I I feel
