classic kind of like a dude you could tell it was heavily inspired by the C of Monti kristo that but it also just gave me like very big Vibes in terms of like uh superheroes in general in terms of like like Spider-Man like anyone can wear the mask kind of ordeal Yeah well yeah I I I always like when they have um I I like that kind of hero yeah kind of like a like a legend of sorts like the legend of anybody can wear the mask I kind of like that uh open-ended kind of like ambiguity in a hero I do too you know so yeah I I I kind of like that how they did that yeah remind me of of like count Monte chriso instead of like it being like between like losing his lover it's like daughter instead they kind of swapped that in a sense oh who whoa whoa you're right yeah well like he got imprisoned for several years as well and then he escapes to get his Grand Revenge wow that that was wow okay yeah yeah the only difference is that he he himself has like a disciple and such to carry on this like name of Zoro but uh there's a lot of parallels that I was realizing so I'm actually really glad we watched Monte kisto first no you're right wow what the hell I didn't even think about that but yeah you're right yeah holy [ __ ] yeah I can see the inspiration uh I'm pretty sure M Monte Chris The Count of Monte chrisal came up first I'm pretty confid now you have to check now you've got me like B sure so this no it definitely did definitely did like whatever Zoro came out yeah 1998 1998 count Monte Cristo is look if you look at the book The Book of Count of Monte Christo uh okay well if you go buy the book of course you yeah 1844 okay of course was going it's a book dude it's a book first I know it was a book first that's the thing so it came first a book yes all right no matter what but it does give off this it does give off Rives not even that but also how he kind of goes like undercover as an aristocrat and stuff like that exact a very similar kind of story being told there yes oh I was thinking you know I was generally thinking that uh when uh when Alejandra went there was pretending to be an an aristocrat and stuff I was like wow this is like very cter Monty Crystal kind of Vibes yes I was thinking the same goddamn thing yes I was like this looks very familiar yes I I like that a lot like it was a lot of great inspiration from it yeah and they kind of made it their own it was almost like a bunch of like things were inspired and kind of melded into this one piece mhm you know it's like you said Kon Crystal even like uh superheroes in general yeah you you know what I mean it could been like a counter Crystal book maybe even like heroes in terms of comic books and stuff like that oh yeah like you said I think the best one would be Batman well B well he has like Batman VI yeah because it's like because he's there for the people yeah you know he's there to help the people and stuff like that it's kind of like the old classic of like even like the tales of like Robin Hood and stuff like that exactly you know know he's got the mask he's got the Cave Batman Batman yeah honestly in the back cave he okay yeah the Cave thing unless that's just like you know a secret lir always has to be in a cave why not I think that might just be thing that might just be a thing that caves are just sick as hell yeah that's where there's a lot of great inspiration like it's awesome as [ __ ] yeah it just felt like a lot of it it was like a lot of the best things molded into one thing exactly you know Antonio Banderas is really good too oh very good in this movie very good in this movie there's a lot of things in this movie that happened that I wasn't expecting one of them being when Alejandra's brother shot himself that's wild dude even when he was fighting him on top of the the uh the thing there the elevator bringing up the gold and the guy just said your brother would have shot himself by now holy dude I got to be honest that guy is a villain no the two villains are really good they're very good and they're very Petty like they really know what to say just like ah to dig into them oh my God like he had his moments where he would just say [ __ ] I was just like oh my God his brother in a jar head in a jar that was like the biggest again just like very unexpected it was his brother what a power play his brother shooting himself and even like him being in the jar later on I did those two things I didn't see coming that was kind of wild like holy [ __ ] you know my god dude that that was insane I really like when a villain is like truly goes to like the most limit of psychotic that was it yeah no [ __ ] he had the he had the grand scheme the grand plan hey let's just blow up all the slaves why not you know let's enslave these groups of people and then blow them let's take the gold and blow them up you know along with the m shafts let's do it like that holy [ __ ] man I kind I kind of like I like that he was a good number two for like a villain yeah you know like that he would be the the a villain's ideal number two he would be coming up with all the great plans holy [ __ ] man I don't have to be evil my number two is more evil than me don't get me wrong Rafael's a piece of [ __ ] but this guy this if you don't this guy if this guy okay Raphael is a piece of [ __ ] but this guy he's psychotic was literally he was losing him glad he wasn't the number one yeah right you're glad he wasn't Raphael sh is crazy yeah Raphael man greatest hater in all of all time and literally takes zoro's daughter uh kind of accidentally killed wife too dude he got her K his guard was incompetent and shot I love he right away goes to the guard stabs that was another thing that took me off guard I didn't think he was just going to go there's no hesitation yeah but again like I kind of like that from the villain like he's just like you can see his obsession with his with his wife he's so obsessed with it and as soon as that guard kills her Bang You're Dead get out of here Y and like and you can see like how like you said psychotic he has a painting of her in his office I guess just to really further the fact that they were like a family family sell the story to his daughter manipulate her and kind of just like wild as [ __ ] deceiving her like that like yeah damn 20 years in the making man wow for 20 years he was just like he just wanted like to make sure that Zoro was just like suffered like but I also like him as a villain the fact that he's also proficient with the blade like he isn't just like he's just like some kind of useless Aristocrat no this guy actually fought and I felt like the whole fighting sequence at the end uh on the around the the M shaft and stuff was really cool I thought it was really well done it was a really good like finale kind of thing it was like I like the setting I like where it was put at that but there's a lot of great stunts throughout this entire film The Horse stunts when he was like the chase sequence when he with the horses that was some incredible and he slowly making his way from the back yeah that was really cool it looked really cool I liked a lot of the stuff there even the sword fighting a lot of it looked great you know I kind of liked when he started uh well when he learned charm he started implementing charm into his combat you see he just like gently tapped his blade like he was being very taunting he he was like taunting he was confident in his own skills again just like charm was just always in him even when he was fighting and I kind of like to see that you know I I don't know overall was just a really good film and I just like I like the um like Zoro as a whole is just like he's for the people that's it the very concept of Zoro is really cool there's a lot of great lines in this you know especially when um well before uh original Zoro dies he just tells him it's your destiny and your curse well not even that but there's a point where Diego's like I'm not going to go with you and he was like and he was like but Zoro will be there yeah I kind of like that too as as it like he's already passed the mantle on like you are already Zoro I'm no longer that yeah and I I also like that again like the concept like curse and Destiny kind of feels like Batman honestly even like if that Superman like like no not Superman Spider-Man kind of like that mask I kind of like how like it was what I really liked is that Diego never put on the mask again no he didn't which was really cool cuz he cuz he knew he cuz he knew knew Zoro was done for him I kind of like that you never saw him put on the mask ever again that you know what I actually didn't think of that you're right yeah he never wanted to be Zoro again yeah I I really like that a lot I thought that was a very interesting uh kind of like um I don't know if probably not subtle probably intentional but I really liked it a lot yeah yeah just like proving that he's done with that and I also I also like the fact that he um he chose Alejandro just because like he saw him with the The Medallion right the fact that he still had till this point even though it was his brothers Etc the fact that they still had it meant something yeah it meant something cuz he knows he remembers who he gave it away well not that but they helped him yeah when he when when they pushed the statue over they helped him yeah they knew they had that yeah he had that spirit in him to like really take that mantle you know and I I like that a lot I thought it was just great just good movie man just fun Sora is just like a just a phenomenal film overall very great very good uh is there any do they did they do sequels to this or no I'm G to be honest with you I personally feel like if they did I don't know why I I feel like this was like perfect is just a one and done yeah let us know if the if a sequel's good or not well yeah does it have a sequel I don't know let us like I'll probably check after this but like regardless let us know in the comments down below if it's even worth checking out yeah if there is a sequel is it worth check I'm going to be brutally honest I don't feel like it's like making a sequel to The Count of Monte Crystal why would you do that you can't I don't really see a point in that I feel like it's different it's different I don't know but know but is different though cuz Zoro is for the people and there will always be evil against the people sure but like I just felt like it ended on such a good note though yeah the story itself ended very well it feels like it tied everything up really well I kind of just like how it went in Full Circle yeah it kind of gets that like that happy ending like Alejandro actually having the happy uh ending the dle want wanted kind of thing that's kind of cool yeah like I I I just I feel like again like it doesn't feel like sequel makes sense no I feel like it' be too forced yeah but I have a feeling it probably got a sequel probably got a sequel it probably did well I can see this movie doing very well when it relas oh 100% it was just a it was a fun film that was very entertaining but um yeah I think that's it for us really rambling a lot but it's 10 minutes guys but this was a really good film again a a great set of villains great set of villains some of the best some of the best you'll see that's what you need in movies is villains that are just pure evil yeah willing to do Despicable [ __ ] they're just horrible disgusting individuals but and you just you love it's just like the payoff for when they finally perish men is just It Feels Good Very it's like an extra level of satisfication like hell yeah they're dead that's what I want yeah but uh all right guys we're going
