- [Naomi] If you missed it,
previously on room two reveal. (upbeat music) All right, I'm left all on my own, and I am flying solo here. The rest of the wallpaper
is completely up to me. (upbeat music) If someone is thinking about replicating the French door, an internal
French aluminum screen doors with Invisi-Gard, that
I've done in room one, and room two. Before you go about doing
that, you need to think about a couple of things in your space. So, you need to think about how you want your space to work, so,
how do you want people to enter and flow? Which way do you want your doors to move, and how will that impact on how you can use the space, and furnish the space? The next thing you need to
think about is naturally the privacy that you're
after, the security that you're after, and how
often you wanna be using these dollars, and the
third thing that you always need to think about up front is how you're going to integrate
them into the room, so, you'll notice in this
room and in the first room I've used color, I've used
textures, and I've used fabrics to make sure that the beautiful
Invisi-Gard screen doors that are fitted internally are
actually really integrated, and really softened into the room. (upbeat music) That is enough work on site
for today, so tomorrow, we will be back to
finish the finer details, and all of the styling transformation. (upbeat music) (energetic music) Room two is done. Are you ready to come and take a look? (upbeat music) I don't really know where to begin with how I feel about this room. It's been quite an emotional journey. This room was definitely super stressed, or there was some kids in
here that have experienced some trauma, so it's quite humbling to look around and see the way the house has accepted what I've wanted to gift it. These walls used to be
adorned with such horror, and now, they are just shining, and fresh, and they've been really
welcoming to the treatments that I've wanted to apply. There's a couple of keepings
I love in this space from a functionality perspective,
and they're really similar to the things that I loved about room one, and that is the front doors. Without a doubt, the amount
of ventilation, security and privacy that these
Invisi-Gard French doors give me is out of control. I specifically love the fact
that I was able to customize the color of the handles,
so no longer do these doors look like they belong on
the outside, or on a garage, or in an outdoor area. They fit perfectly into
this really, really elegant bedroom space, and while
we're on the door front, holy dooley, not only
do I love the profiles of the Hume door that
I've used in this bedroom, but that color. It is absolutely gorgeous. The rendezvous color from Bristol has come out an absolute treat. When I look around the
room for the first time probably in my life, I'm actually a bit stuck for words. It's really comforting in here. It's really nurturing,
and I think part of that are the layers that we have. We have beautiful,
near-realistic timber-looking vinyl planks on the floor. You all know I'm a
tomboy, and you all know that I am super clumsy,
and so, the fact that these have a specific surface
treatment that makes them super easy to clean, and they're low VOC, which is great for allergies, especially for a bedroom. As I move up from the floor,
I get absolutely blown away at the details in the
trims, and the timber work in this room, so the stud boards, and the wainscot paneling,
and the chair rail, and naturally, I love the functionality of the picture rails. It means no holes ever in
the beautiful wallpaper that adorns the walls. When I was styling the
room, there were quite a few different layouts I could've gone with, but this one is definitely
a winner for me. It allows for maximum view of the bed when you enter through the
door, and it also allows for beautiful cross
ventilation across from it. My biggest challenge
while renovating this room without a doubt would
have been battening out to put brand new jib
rock on all these walls. There wasn't a batten or a
screw that stuck first time. It was really, really a
challenge, so that would, without doubt, have to be the
biggest, biggest challenge of this room. My favorite part of this room, I think I'm going to have to say in this room, my favorite part is the wainscoting, the paneling, and all of the trim work. It definitely, definitely,
from a visual perspective, whatever happened in this room previously, and whatever it looked like before, it is a distant memory. This is now a dreamy, nurturing, layered, and quite elegant space. What was the hardest part
for me to doing this space? I think the most challenging part for me to personally do was
to get the curtain rail to stay in place. Because the bricks underneath the jib rock are so fragile, it was a real challenge, so that was a massive challenge for me. The easiest part here
for me was, certainly, the French doors from Hume,
and the Invisi-Gard screens from Alspec, and the reason that is is that they're all
custom, so it was perfect. It was a hands-off experience for me. They came, they measured,
they made, they fitted, dream. What would I do differently? Well, if I had my time over
again, I would have loved to have the front facade
of the house done first because it certainly was a challenge keeping the crowd en marche,
and damage to the room as it was being renovated
down when out there with such a mess, so without doubt, that would be something I
would've done differently if I had more control over that. Well, I think that is a wrap for room two. I must admit, I'm pumped. It's come up beautifully,
and, I've chosen all elements that are well-wearing,
and are quite classic, so not only will it stand the test of time in regard to the products
I've used in here, but from a star perspective,
this room is going to be fit for purpose, and
beautiful for at least a couple of decades. And there you have it, room two is a wrap. I hope you enjoyed watching
the transformation. Now, if you'd like to
