Roblox not launching fix!

okay so um I just wanted to make a video um in case anybody's having the same issue where you click the play button on Roblox and um you're just stuck at a loading screen like you're not hopping into the game or anything nothing's happening so um I went on to the down detector and saw some of the comments that uh people gave and it helped me so I was like yo you know like I like in case someone's looking for it you know I'll put it on YouTube um so yeah let me just walk you through the steps that I did that helped me so uh essentially you just want to go to um this PC on your file explorer and uh you'll see some drives just go on your main Drive the one where you think you downloaded uh Roblox or where you know you downloaded Roblox and um you're gonna see two program files so um you're gonna go with the times 86 don't get confused I know it's a bit um full but uh just hit times 86 and then you're gonna scroll down and go to the r section and find Roblox you're gonna see versions it's just a folder just open it and you're going to open this again and you're gonna land yourself right here now right here you're gonna see two Roblox players now these are the ones that you're going to want to focus on throughout this whole entire time uh so click on it left click only once uh right click and then you're gonna hit properties now once you're up to this big old screen you're gonna hit compatibility and it'll probably look like this for you and um all you're gonna do is you're just gonna hit run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7. now I tried Windows 8 Windows 8 didn't really give me any luck so I stuck with Windows 7 which was what was working for me so once you get there You're Gonna Wanna um so once you once you click this you're going to want to go to the settings and you're going to want to disable full screen optimizations click that and you're going to want to run this program as an administrator click that once you've done that you're going to want to hit apply and okay now we finished one of them awesome on to the next one we're gonna left click once right click once and then properties once you're here you're going to want to hit compatibility we're going to run this whole situation again you're gonna um so essentially it'll look like this once again you're gonna just click on it Windows 7 make sure it's windows 7. windows 8. and you're going to disable full screen optimizations and run this program as an administrator hit apply and then hit okay and so far we are good to go now I've seen some people talking about FPS Unlocker uh Riva tuner if you're familiar with that and Ms MSI afterburner now if you have any of those three applications um I would suggest to remove them just because I heard that there's a new anti-cheat software with Roblox and that might be why it's not letting you join or why it's bugging so I would suggest um removing that and seeing if you can actually join the game now um some people said that that was the issue you know but uh yeah go ahead and look at the things that you have for Roblox and uh one of those things might be it but this is what worked for me I didn't have any of those uh apps or anything so it this this was the method that worked for me it might work for you hopefully and I'm just gonna show you just so you guys aren't like oh you know no proof um I'm not gonna cut the video [Music] oh she's lying so um I don't know if you guys can see my screen right now but this is the administration screen it's basically going to ask you if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device you're just gonna hit yes um you're gonna kind of wait it out I promise just be a little patient and you'll get through it uh eventually might take a while so um yeah I'm not gonna cut it or anything like that just so you guys can see I just went with the most popular game just say for reference [Music] this works so hopefully now I'm logged in and yeah I'm doing with that but um yeah I hope you guys enjoyed hope this helped and worked for you yeah that's it thanks
