here we go the first story is lady runs over my foot because I wouldn't fetch motor oil for her cast equals me angry lady al confused worker CW my hero mhm so let me start by saying I get mistaken for working at Walmart a lot because of a lanyard I wear I keep my keys on a lanyard and I usually wear it around my neck because it's easier to grab it and go when I need to get my car going again and I guess because it's blue a lot of people think it's for an employee tag usually it's someone older just asking where something is or if I can get something down from the shelf for them and usually I'll point them in the right direction that or someone realizes the mistake and apologizes it's fun to hear from a manager at Walmart that I was a very helpful young lady because I helped get a set of dishes off of the third shelf for the lady with back pains haha this woman was much different I had just gotten off work so I was wearing a black shirt with my company logo on it and a pair of black jeans and black shoes I had my purse sitting on my lap and my lanyard around my neck I was waiting to pick up a pile of Christmas gifts and was exhausted from work so I was pretty much dozing in this chair they had in their pickup area this is usually where I get spotted that was when I heard it angry lady wake up lazy girl this sharp angry voice and I opened my eyes to see a woman who if I hadn't heard her speak would have thought she was a sweet old grandma she had on this white and green striped shirt a pair of jeans and lots of necklaces with her gray hair pulled back in a ponytail with cute little bangs and she had three of those cheap little necklaces that you find at kids birthday parties around her neck me what I was about half awake angry lady you need to help me now get off your lazy a and help me me what are you talking about she paid my question no mind angry lady go and get me motor oil me what no go get it yourself angry lady furious my son said that our car needs oil and I'm not going all the way across the store for it do your job and go get it the Auto Center was pretty far away but the motor carts from what I've seen her pretty fast and it's not like she had to walk me one I don't work here don't have to listen to you too the employees here aren't dogs they won't go fetch for you angry lady now shouting you don't get to talk to me like that go and get my oil then I want to speak to your manager me I don't work here I remembered the lanyard and took it off the shore it only had my keys and that it had a local colleges name on it since I got it at a job fair at the school this isn't from this store angry lady refuses to look at my lanyard no that is BS do as you're told or I will drag you to your manager myself she grabbed my arm and tried to roll along with me but I didn't want to deal with this so I ran I pulled my arm away and with what little energy I had for my mini nap took off running she tried to follow me but I was able to weave my way through a few of the clothes racks and hid from her as she shouted at me I roamed the store a bit looking for junk I probably didn't need but could use mostly avoiding her even made my way to the Auto Center and picked up a tire pressure gauge since mine had broken haha I found myself in the crafts aisle and at at this point stuck my earbuds in because there was a screaming kid in the area I'm the oldest of six and I work in a restaurant as well as babysit you can only take so much angry child this also meant that I couldn't hear anything so I'm staring at some paints when I see her out of the corner of my eye at least your card she's really close to me and before I can step away she ran over my freaking foot I don't know if any of you have ever had your foot run over by a motor cart but if freaking hurts it's not a very heavy piece of machinery apparently about 25 pounds according to Google but it hurts when that weight is on your bony is f foot especially with the 120 pounds this woman was adding to it and the fact that I wasn't ready for this cell I screamed I was in shock and it felt like she had shattered my foot especially when her back wheels went over it again and I screamed again I had to sit down on one of the shelves and rip my shoe off trying to alleviate some of the pain while the angry lady was yelling at me angry lady that'll teach you to disrespect a customer you little bee now go get my motor oil me for the last effing time I don't work here and you'll be lucky if I don't press charges on you finally an actual employee CW came jogging around the corner a vest that had the logo on the corner and his nametag clipped on his chest he looked entirely confused which made sense there was a crying 19 year old taking off her shoe while a woman sat in a motor cart screaming at her confused worker are you okay ma'am he came over to me first seeing as I pulled off my sock my foot was swelling and there was a little blood because my toenail had dug into my foot and cut it angry lady I need your manager she should be fired confused worker looked to me confused me trying to catch my breath when I start crying I have the worst time stopping she ran angry lady starts shouting again angry lady she wouldn't get my motor oil get me your manager the worker looked like he didn't know what to do he had one person sobbing and sounding like she was choking I do a weird gasping thing when I'm trying to catch my breath it's hard to explain while another was screaming at him that was when she came my hero the mother of the screaming child from before who had apparently been screaming because he fell down don't believe that for a second mostly since I heard I want it but I digress she looked angry for me my hero what the heck is the matter with you she was pointing at angry lady why the heck would you run over some random girls foot angry lady peeved off she's an employee she needs to learn not to ignore customers my hero she doesn't even have a nametag you idiot she's wearing a uniform for another company what the heck made you think she worked here angry lady she is wearing a nametag look she reached over and yanked my lanyard off of my neck holding it out to my hero like she won or something see my hero snatching my lanyard and showing it to her does that say Walmart to you angry lady finally got a good look and realized that there were only keys and the letters on the lanyard had the initials of the college on it and she turned white my hero turned a confused worker my hero get your manager in a first-aid kit now she sounded furious confused worker ran off looking a little relieved to finally have a direction to run into and my hero began to do the mom thing or she examined my foot and talked to me in a nicer voice angry lady tried to scoot her way out of the store but was blocked by the greeter she was trying to take the motor cart which is a big no-no the manager came and asked if I wanted police to get involved or if I wanted an Ambu I said no I just wanted to get my things an ice pack and go they let me sit in that comfy chair in the pickup waiting area and gave me a 50% discount on my pickup stuff letting me take the stuff I had picked up when walking around for free I waited until the swelling in my foot had gone down and watched the SH storm as angry lady tried to convince the manager that I was his inordinate employee and that I needed to be fired he instead banned her from the store and told her if she came near his employees she'd get the police call on her my hero got her husband to take their kid home and come back for her and sat with me to make sure I was okay and could get home it wasn't my driving foot so I could drive okay and I was able to limp my way to my car my foot was a fun shade of black purple and a little blue for a little while but my mom and stepdad both in the medical field don't think it's broken it's been sort but I probably won't end up taking it to a doctor best Christmas gift I ever got though was watching the angry lady get her motor car turned off and watch her go off jumping around and stomping the second story is I don't work here my mother does so to start off a bit of backstory my mother works as the ice cream maker for a little three shop ice cream chain and although I don't work there I sometimes hang out in the back with my mom and the owner is cool with it since she's a nice person the shop also sells shirts with the logo on them but those are just shirts and employees wear polos meet the cast me my mother and Karen as well as some bystanders the ice cream shop had a bit of a slow day and my mom called to say that I should come on over and chat with her and the owners I agreed because I mean free ice cream well as I got there so did a bunch of other people about ten of them I had gotten there a little quicker than most so I ordered my ice cream first and managed to sit down with it as I'm enjoying my peanut butter Oreo ice cream I hear a soft hmm from behind me since it's pretty busy I assume that someone is getting the attention of a wait staff member so I continued eating a few seconds later a second louder um this one just behind me I still don't think anything of it since it's a crowded shop well I guess not turning around was the wrong decision excuse me comes a voice from behind me a Karen with so much care and energy that she caused other Karen's to become weaker shouldn't you be working I mean it's quite busy here I still don't turn around this set Karen off even further she grabs my shoulder and spins me my chair and my precious ice cream around to face young man you will take my order or I will get you fired I know the owner here I guess that I looked like I was going to talk back to her or something since she raised her voice further I can see the shirt you're wearing and I know you have to serve me I was wearing one of the aforementioned shirts sold by the store and she had obviously assumed that I worked there this had happened before just not to me but I had heard stories that just ended it in someone saying oh I don't work here so I tried that hey um sorry for the mistake but I am going to get fired if I don't get my ice cream right now interrupts Karen just then who should emerge from the back but my mother she doesn't do anything at first just trying to see what is going on Karen started yelling in I've seen you in the back of the shop I know that you work here if you don't give me my ice cream you will never work at ice cream chain again at this my mother makes her move now my mother is not a very intimidating person she's about average height and a bit large but she can be loud enough to rival even this Titan Karen but she starts with can I help you ma'am Karen decides this is when she will get me fired this little SH had been slacking off on the job if I hadn't caught him he would have stayed on his phone not even helped customers I want him fired now my mom brings herself up to her full height and faces me she takes a deep breath turns to Karen and says get out Karen had been standing behind her with a smug look over her makeup but now she looks confused excuse me you have just caused a serious commotion at this store you've insulted and wasted the time of this young man who just so happens to not only not work here but he's also my son if you don't get out I will call the police or remove you myself Karen deflates but while she walks to the door I catch her shooting me the stink-eye never saw her again but my mom and I laugh about it now the next story is Karen demands deaf man help her gets a nice helping of humble pie this happened maybe an hour or so ago to my friend Topher and he gave me permission to post it here because we both found it so funny Topher who is hearing is fluent in ASL thanks to his job and his degree to practice and because he likes the people there he volunteers at a local deaf community center three times a week today was a regular volunteering day and he was asked to check and see if the local wally world had party supplies for a surprise birthday party they're planning for another volunteer Topher agreed and off to the local wally world he went as he didn't have anything clean to wear he was wearing a blue polo shirt and a nice pair of khakis which also happened to be the same colored uniform as to the workers at wally world where topher was heading to the party supply section when he heard the classic war call of the wild Caren a cleared throat Topher turned around and saw a classic Karen short Captain Marvel haircut leopard print leggings a too tight black shirt and a face that looked like she had smelled a fresh turd because he had been spent all day using ASL Topher was on what he likes to call sign language brain where he'll sign on reflex he signed do you sign to her upon seeing him sign she grimaced before shouting in a slow voice I need help do you understand Topher was about ready to tell her that he could hear and to screw off but he decided to have a little bit of fun at her expense he held up his hand as if to ask her to wait took out his smartphone put it to the notepad app and typed type here what you need and I'll help you find it this humble response would make any normal person realize their bad manners and apologize profusely but then again I think everyone who is read or experienced tonight a work here lady's story Karen's lack disability so for the next 20 minutes Karen ordered Topher around she had him grabbing stuff only to put it away when it was squashed or bent or dinged etcetera going to various aisles to get various things wait outside for it the changing room the works Topher was thinking about the best way to let the cat out of the bag when Karen got a call from her friend Wendy Topher turned his back so as he could hide that he could hear Karen hey Wendy yeah I'm fine just a deaf kid helping me out yeah they hire deaf people here can you believe it no wonder service here has gone to the crapper they should stick with their own kind of talking is going to be a problem Topher was peeved at this point because he's worked with the deaf community for so long he gets really angry whenever he hears them getting treated badly but calmer sense is prevailed and he prepared his shut up Hannibal speech finally after 20 minutes Karen announced that she was done and ready to check out Topher walked her to a register that just opened and turned to her please tell your friend Wendy that I said hello the look on Karen's face when she realized what had happened was priceless thank you for watching have a good one [Music]
