that's great I don't through or not that's just I just got an email that's a good move right there I like that one Bubba lets you know the the real Greg Burgess and I've gotten emails lately a lot of someone's saying you know I we understand everyone who the name and we we know most of their origin why do you call Greg Burgess the real Greg Burgess and that is because are you referring to that little picture you got a minute I am but and I said the reason why is when Greg when Greg was not working here he was just kind of an annex to the show through being my brother and and friends to the to the members of the show we actually in his honor named an intern one-time intern Greg Burgess right girls hopefully yes so when Greg joined the show we had to make sure everybody understood that we are speaking now of the real Greg Burke yeah we didn't want to confuse I don't but which is also funny because which is also funny to I remember back in the day when I was growing up and really intrigued with radio you know radio guys and ladies will use fake names names they think sound cool we don't do that here we have some nicknames but you know that Speedy's names also Calvin will burn we don't hide that from you yeah that's what's our driver's life and Bill Bubba but see we know his name is bill bus and my name is Rick Burgess and we know that we call me Roberto up yes PN is now saying Hasselbeck is a tight two years yeah speedy what would your radio Radio name be if it would speeding Wow when I first started they make me they made me call myself Kevin Callaway Kevin you're cute now they great they have a pearly happy list made me hate me the consultants have a list of names right and they pick up my automated quality to get yeah you get to pick try to pick my own it have been Dirk Diggler would have been fading but you know you know like snowy weather and all that you know what I mean you know Michaels you know they love to use last name Michaels they do these tests and everybody likes it like just in case like you know like you know you just don't hear anybody named Dewey Johnson you know next right after me Dewey Joseph coming up next to me or old polymer one of the things one thing I liked about that is I thought this guy was always funny and I think later in life I think we actually met him one time but I used to listen to this back in the day when there was a bizarre concept and radio that people actually like to like the person who even is playing the music that's important this yeah you know people don't really like to go to radio just hear jukeboxes because you know it makes them a little passive on their loyalty to the station but in the day you had your radio station and you knew every announcer on the air they all had the the personality of the show that was their personality and you had you bumper sticking had your t-shirt and you were loyal to that station that was your station and so um which you know radio is forgotten but but but so you know and now people are loyal to shows and they would probably law your the station's their stations acted like shows but let's not get in there but anyway so so anyway the there was a guy and one of the names everybody loved to use all over the country was Chris Stevens yeah okay oh yeah and this guy referred himself is the real Christie which I thought was funny you know me like you're gonna hear a bunch up and I'm the real one yeah that's really alright so Greg has now become the latest face of endorsement here on the Ricky Bubba show you know Bob and I got some long-running deals and you know Speedy's got he is in the show as the team's got some and so there's a company called the painting company that they came to the real Greg Burgess and said we'd like for you to be the face of the painting come that's what and you know I never really saw that coming Rick I thought I knew that that they would come with Greg but I thought it would be like with preparation-h you know word used to be a pain in the rump well use what he uses to soothe his room that one Michael Helms it may be it may be too little this came by the way to the mailbox guys if you're not gonna look at that post page please stare at it so y'all might find that post picture but that was why I took goodnight look at that goodnight look at that I'd rather he watch a dog you two puppies look at this oh it's pretty John Brown snazzy but anyway so there there it is I like the fact you don't look post no not at all what's natural I hate talking I wish that'd take here one not Greg anymore if you're gonna say that though I'm gonna go out and do some jobs with you need to get a white jumpsuit like they have I'm not getting dirty in an attic like Iowa are so faint but I will say this I mean let's face it the winds last time with anyone made a painter that didn't drink but not with the pan company rare which you know that's a on the job that's why things have changed by the way is there anything worse than saying hey I got to paint this room nothing works no I always say I'm gonna do it now wish I bet I can top it how would you find it I don't one job it takes a little longer I'd say this I actually did not know about the painting company I actually had people who were running the job hired the painting company for me now that won't happen again so let me ask you this if you I bet I can beat having to paint it how would you like to have paid money for a paint job then fire your contractor are some folks that are actually who have done more work in six days than the other contractor did in five months and and you've discovered that you had to go back and redo the paying job all over again so a pending job that you paid for you got nothing last night mommy just look at it as a good place to be that bad it was bad how do you mess up paint well if you don't know hey you know if you don't prep it in the paint has grit and ponds drawn real non believe you found things it was rigged it was let me tell what we found I think pine straw and a can of paint well if you have pain they're making bricks and and but you know one thing you have to do before you paint a wall is to prep it I think they just painted over what's that's my other plane you need to call people like the plant comes great calm well I've got I've got a one hour they're good Korean they do rate in one second pretty good I've got two company getting after it now they're doing a great job but it just hurts I mean you wouldn't believe the speech my wife had to actually sit down with me last night and talk me down a little bit but I began to realize money that I've spent that I got nothing for I mean got nothing for it I mean and you know what she finally told me she said look it this way picture if this if these people who actually did the work here prior to you bringing in you know the houses that are doing it now just picture them as somebody who who who you gave money to to help their family and she said because that's about what you did so we're gonna look at a video by the way don't break it's not the video that's okay you got to listen to Greg narrate I think wait so you're getting the uncut version oh well no I think no I'm just saying there is a version is this cleaned up you're going to show no I don't mean language understand quality Rickon Bubba show we are talking about the hey the new face meet if you've got if you've got a business you want to see the real Greg Burgess is the face of your new business he's become the new sought-after endorsement person he did one for a painting companies called the painting company yes sir I'm gonna do some jobs with them I get really if you live in Alabama watch I may be at your house paint if you live in Alabama you make it have Greg's picture in the mail right now because he came to our mailbox you will hear me scream when I open my mailbox and his he's in there you I will scream you'll hear me I'll occur where you are so how about you have a job taking pictures he did I remember too by the way Greg's got shorts on he brought that button down and just and just buttoned it up and sit down yeah it looks like you're all dressed somebody sent this to Greg's childhood nemesis jail cake we mail it to your eating Greg what's go ahead and just not eat for this five minutes I know that you learned how to do radio from Bubba now but really I want you to know in most circles eating while you're talking on there is not really I try to smack while you're talking that's best I know you've learned it you know what because I'd hate I'd wait maybe ten minutes eleven twelve maybe the latest I bet I could handle that brisket as a matter of fact in this one Greg eight minutes to get a break I can't wait eight minutes to eat some brisk I think it was one of Speedy's personal favorites because usually the office we were at and the one that we're at now is you know anywhere from four to five thousand square feet where all the officers and everything that where I give my speech when we'll be trying to catch them and people are standing tall right there right and I'll give them a tour of the entire building yeah I seen there's 5,000 square feet Jeff you go talk why you'll top of me I mean you could be back here near the door it's my Davidson on the other end but anyway Greg they wanted you to desist the new thing now we're like Oh somebody's website they'll put a video of you up there doing so yeah a little added value to look what y'all got understand this video is version one that's gonna be more professional well as that's the I'm using that term very let me tell you what he did because he hates me that guy that hassles people now he could have tried to get Adler or crew to come he's house to myself song drive well he's got such a history of videography oh yeah oh you don't miss follow next time any quotes alright now for those of you watching it's gonna they've done when I'm driving pressure wants to drive it which is made it look brand new which I was raised mumbling now listen we'll be getting where you I don't which but anyway they're doing nobody this drive it just look so white like the guys are gonna paint my front door for me I'm not sure what we're gonna pay it to a dark gray okay this end catches the Sun at the end of the day so the doors kind of its kind of got weathered a little bit wait look before and then we'll get us a good shot when I get now look at him inside here's the dining room we're gonna redo interior design just kind of add to the front when you walk in the house and it's I'm in the for year this is open area everything's the same colors all the walls are tied together here you know the birches all squiddy's try to let's hear it again listen to it I'm so sorry my daughter ran her famous green ring so definitely a pink bathroom to go with it anyway the guys are doing a wonderful job today they're doing a half
