we release psalms 91 this morning when you sit enthroned under the shadow of shaddai you are hidden in the strength of god most time he will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy [Music] today we are making people uncomfortable the spirit of flesh becomes uncomfortable in this atmosphere this morning the spirit of compromise become uncomfortable in this atmosphere this morning sunday complacency becomes uncomfortable this morning i'm going to welcome everyone that's coming in now but i'm going to ask that as you find your seat that you immediately engage with the spirit that is already in this atmosphere lord god we say that today is the day of appeal look at today is the day of appeal look at every judgment every agreement that has been with the enemy today we appeal it and we overturn it today we say that every judgment every agreement that has been made with the compromise of the enemy be overturned this morning lord god we say that today we refuse to negotiate with the enemy we cut off all discussions and all open doors to any strongholds we push away from the table of negotiations this morning and we say let the heavens be opened let the word of the lord ring in this place this morning psalms 144 1 says blessed be the lord my rock who trains my hands for lord and my fingers for battle today we do not come here just for a patty cake praise today we do not just come in here to check sunday morning off of our list but today we say we come ready we come on we come battle ready for battle we say let the battle of the lord be true today we say let us take look on the ground of the enemy's camp look what i say just like the old song says we went into the enemy's camp and we took back what he's tried to stole from us lord god we thank you for what you released on friday lord god we thank you for the decrees that were released last night and today we say let the day be let today be a day of taking background from the enemy let this be the sunday morning that we see agreements broken with the enemy let this be the day that sickness falls off let this be the day that addictions melt away let this be the day that the prodigals come home let this be the day by the god that every word that has been spoken that is alive with the enemy be dead lord god we thank you for everything that you have been releasing and we say ii timothy 2 4 says no soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits since his aim is to please the one who has enlisted him lord god today we say we do not get entangled with the enemies entanglements look how we do not get the lord put this verse on my heart at the beginning of 2020 and it has just unfolded what the implications of this verse is about what jeremiah is saying to his generation saying if you're worn out in the easy days if you're barely surviving in the days of peace then how are you going to be able to navigate the coming increasing crisis and glory that's coming to the nations of the earth let me say it to you break it down a little bit more for people that work out like me about two two months a year if you can't handle a 2.0 on the treadmill how are you gonna handle an eight that is coming around the corner and i believe that 2020 has released an unprecedented year and we need to take note of what is god saying what is doing what's the devil do it i think everybody's there's the the rage of satan the sin of man creation's groan and god in his sovereign authority bringing forth something in the earth and i believe he is bringing forth the church that's going to shine in this hour but i believe one of the things that's he's saying guys it's time to move on past the kiddie pool of christianity and to begin to move into a deeper place of connection listen listen cause i'm not gonna be able to scream over you today uh a deeper connection with me and a deeper connection with one another we need breakthroughs with god and breakthroughs with one another and he is calling us we are dealing with a 100-year pandemic we are dealing with nation against nation wars the pain of our black brothers and sisters we're dealing with pain in the streets riots lawlessness rage feel creations grown in the earth and parts of me and then there's there's lots of good parts x i've just experienced it i've had to go to starbucks the last couple of days and i don't like standing outside and having to go through the mobile app and sitting in line and waiting that drives me crazy i want a lot of things to go back to normal i get that on a convenience level but i keep hearing the holy spirit saying corey it's not it's not you you can have your personal preferences you can have god i just wanted to get back to normal can we get away from all this stuff and i hear the holy spirit saying we are crossing a threshold into a new season in redemptive history and it's time the church quit trying to get back to what it used to be and to begin to ask a different set of questions so that we can enter into the next season i'm serious we need to let go of the easy days as we knew it the intensity level the pace on the treadmill is increasing and if you are worn out now you ain't seen nothing yet if the current is wearing you out now right now we're swimming against a two mile per hour current and we think i just can't wait until it goes away and we start moving and the lord's saying if you don't build muscles with the two mile per hour current there's coming a 10 mile per hour current we got to get mighty and god we got to move from our strength our charisma our abilities and tap in to the lifeline of the power source of god at a deeper level it's not going to be about the strong surviving it's going to be about the weak ones who have traded their weakness for god's power he said isaiah 40 31 those who wait on the lord will renew their strength here we are in these days and i just want to keep saying that to you i i feel that from the holy spirit cory it's not which i'm excited about let let's get this party started let's get this party started these are the days we've been waiting on i hate gray areas i hate i hate the neutral the lukewarm feel and what happens in these days is the light gets lighter and the dark gets darker and all the gray areas are moved and everyone comes out to play for real and this is an hour to where the church lets go of the foxes comes out of the foxes in the small compromises does does uh dealings with god in the secret place of their hearts and of their life and they begin to fully give themselves to god i'm grateful for these seasons amen do you hear me we're in a hundred year pandemic nation against nation jesus told us he gave us about 22 signs in matthew 24 22 signs all right i'm driving to phoenix i got signs along the way that let me know i'm coming to phoenix jesus says these will be clear indicators you're in that generation and we are at the beginning of the birth pangs we're at the beginning of the birth pangs understand it moms how many i mean moms we hadn't had babies two of you okay got a young church man we gotta get y'all married and i set by my wife's bedside for four of our children's births and as those contractions increased and the in the rapid increase of the contractions we are at the beginning of the birth pangs this is what jesus called it and it's about a birth and the birth is the coming of that man and his kingdom to the earth understand it it will see we will see the rage of satan like no other time in history revelation 12 is very clear because he knows his time is short rage will increase the sin of man will increase understand it a lot of us just think if revival comes as i've said this all of our problems go away how about john 1 the great conduct john 1 then john 3 the great condemnation the blinding blazing light of heaven came into the world stepped down and in light of the full blazing revelation of god in the earth men love darkness rather than the light that's the condemnation and as revival increases the sin of man will increase it will become more defiant more resolute i'm not even planning on going here this morning but we will see the sin of man we will see the judgments of god we will see god judge sin god remove everything that hinders love god confront wickedness god releasing judgment in the church and purifying the church cleansing the church bringing forth a church for himself i love joel one you know we talk about joel a lot you guys we were just doing joel 2 crying out for america and in joel 1 and i'd hoped that alan would get to this maybe tonight or sometime whatever i'm not you do whatever but joel 1 joel stands up and joel one on the the tail end of a four-wave locus plague which would be the equivalent that has shut down and four waves of locusts that have destroyed the economy destroyed the agriculture which would be in our nation the equivalent of wall street collapsing and joel stands up and his first words to the nation is not what's our recovery plan how are we going to fix it his first words is the word hear hear don't fix here actually discern the hour that you're in discern the moment that you're in and instead of running all the bible verses that talk you out of looking at this actually look at me and begin to ask a different set of questions like god what are you saying what are you doing and what does this require of me and my family and my people here because he says this has anything like this happened in your days what to do when you're seeing unprecedented days he says tell your children about it he goes you go back there and you get into the kids group you take your five-year-olds and you talk to them about the judgments of god you talk to your kids my yeah my my ten-year-old had a dream last night to where she said that president trump was telling everybody to leave america and there was just a great uh hour of turmoil and fear and i'm going to feel this window when i get home tonight to talk to her about the hour of history that we're living in i'm already ready to get home and talk to her as this prophetic window into her heart of the intensity she felt in the spirit now i'm not saying that's coming i don't know i i you know at the full level but i i believe it's an hour i know the lord's saying come out of babylon i know the lord saying come out of the spirit of this age do you know why lot's wife turned into a pillar of salt because she looked back it's a lot more than a brief glance lot's wife was in pain because so much of her soul was still lost in sodom and that's the shortest verse jesus well it's the second shortest verse jesus says remember lot's wife in luke 17. it's not she just looked back and caught it which means this she reaped the same judgment because her soul was still there that's the word i want to be able to talk to my my 10 year old daughter about tonight when i get home and you're like man that's intense and joe goes no tell your kids about it don't hide it from them we're in a different hour the best thing i can do is get my kids thinking in a different way of the goodness of god the power of god but that god will shake everything that can be shaken he will not suffer rivals and he will shake everything that can be shaken so we must build a specific way in this hour so that we can actually endure navigate and be able to steward the coming days of increasing glory and increasing shaking in the earth building foundations that can endure building lives that can stand building interior lives building cultures building people and building churches that can navigate increasing glory and increasing shaking because you guys you are pushing in seven years revival culture and all it's doing is removing the gray and it's gonna bring to the forefront everything that's been hidden in the human heart you guys go pick a fight so we can actually come alive and enter into everything jesus has for us it's in a video game this is for real isaiah 66. i've got a word this morning can i preach it can i preach it when i come back next month will you be able to tell me what i preached this morning when i come up to you can we talk about this word isaiah 66 heaven's my throne earth is my footstool where is the house that you will build me where is the place of my rest all those things my hand has made all those things exist says the lord here's the phrase i can't get off of but on this one will i look on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit and who trembles at my word who wants to get god's attention you know they got all the dating websites out there today i wanted six foot brown hair these eyes that way that personality do you know god says i'm surrounded by ten thousand times ten thousand angels i have 24 elders surrounding me blinding light burning angels but do you know what gets my attention do you not want to know what i'm looking for i don't know about you but i believe that god is bringing forth these three criteria to look in the people and the churches that are going to get his attention in the earth he says do you want to know what gets my attention someone who is poor someone who's not strut that has a strut but someone who's been cut someone that's not flaunting in self-sufficiency but who has a deep awareness of their need and they're of a contrite spirit that word means lame they have jacob's limp about them this is what their interior life looks like an interior life that's been built on the inside of a dependence on god jacob carried that lamp for the rest of his life after a midnight wrestle with the lord can i preach and who trembles at his word see i believe this is the greatest need in this hour i i am i am guilty of it you're guilty of it it's the human condition to hear so many words that we turn it into man that was a good word i need to get that recording for my neighbor or for my spouse or for my kids man that was a good word i'll even send a facebook comment man that was a good word it's one thing to enjoy a word and feel the initial impact it's another thing to position your life so that the word of god goes from merely exciting you into creating a trembling on the inside of you and for that migration it won't happen at a mcdonald's drive-thru you won't get that migration from the head to the heart on a mere convenience of fly by on sunday morning that thing's got to work in you trembling means it gets up into your business it shifts your schedule it shifts your relationships it shifts your time management it gets up into your business it says we're gonna fast this week the word has the say and you tremble that's what i believe god wants to bring us to god says that's what gets my attention that's what's on my dating website towing me to matthew 4. matthew 4 jesus well i don't have it in my i believe that jesus's first public message i just want to look right here jesus comes out of the baptismal waters in matthew 3 the father opens heaven over him and says this is my beloved son in chapter four he goes from beloved identity this is my beloved son into wilderness testing for 40 days he goes and he fights the devil with the power of the word and the and he comes out of that wilderness testing season like a man on fire we only see one recorded message jesus preaches in matthew 4. and i believe this is what the holy spirit is saying to the body of christ in this hour it's matthew 4 17 repent repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand repentance is not just the way into salvation it is the way of salvation you didn't hear what i said most of us have relegated repentance to a one-time altar call where we repent of our sins and we go about our merry way but repentance is entrance and abiding in the kingdom of heaven it is the way of the kingdom it's a moment followed by a lifetime of swimming upstream of declaring war on the value systems that this world feeds us it's a lifetime of making secret decisions to eradicate everything every person everything from your life that steals deep and wholehearted love for god repentance means to change the way you think it's a conversion it's the abiding of a different value system to repent is a lie of repudiation and of a removal of everything and as we go deeper in abiding in the kingdom of heaven he will constantly be bringing forth fresh things on the inside of us and a new value system that we must ascribe to no it's really good and it's horrible because it ain't a moment you graduate from it is the life of the cross it's a life of your old man being crucified jesus in matthew 4 23 is going to be preaching i want you to see the buildup in galilee he went about all of galilee teaching in their synagogues preaching the gospel of the kingdom that's another phrase i want you meditating on in this season forgiveness of sins is entrance into the kingdom but it is not the fullness of the gospel of the kingdom the gospel of the kingdom is the full rule and reign of jesus over everything it's the kingdom that's now and the kingdom that's coming it's wherever the rule of jesus is manifested in our life we are living in the kingdom the rule and reign of jesus in our families in our finances in our netflix accounts in our what we do when no one's watching it's the rule of jesus over everything it's the rule of jesus over devils over sickness over every form of darkness it's the rule of jesus it is and it's coming it is and it's coming we i love to talk about now and to manifest now because what we're releasing now is pulling on the powers of the age to come and manifesting it in time and space but we must understand that he is coming and he's bringing his kingdom with him well let's let's get this i got to get to matthew 5. jesus he's teaching he's preaching gospel of the king healing all kinds all disease verse 24 his fame everybody say jesus was famous it went throughout all of syria they brought to him all sick people who reflected with various diseases and torments those who were demon-possessed epileptics and paralytics he healed them great multitudes followed him galilee decapolis jerusalem judea and beyond the jordan jesus hits galilee like a storm a tornado of glory hits galilee and the ones are turning to tens and turning to hundreds are turning to thousands the crowds are mounting the healings deliverances and salvations the explosion of the glory of god and he now brings them to the mountain and jesus is about to release his first public sermon his first public sermon and i imagine jesus getting everyone in the stadium getting everyone in the arena getting everyone in the church building packing the room and it says and he's seeing the multitudes he went up on a mountain and when he was seated the disciples came to him i love that every phrase is vivid jesus has amassed thousands of people that are affected by thee by the kingdom and jesus is going to give them the touch of the kingdom now to invite them in the kingdom he's going you've been feeling it being impacted by it but i'm going to invite all of you into my kingdom and i'm going to denounce the religious system of the day that has perverted what was given to moses what i released because the one that wrote with his own fingers the ten commandments is now sitting on the mountain yahweh is in the flesh and the one that was with moses on mount sinai and gave the ten commandments is now back up on a mountain and he's about to bring forth the kingdom of heaven what we call the constitution of the kingdom of heaven the value system of his kingdom i call it the declaration of dependence i call it the declaration of dependence it's the wine skin for revival i just said revival that's your word the wine skin for revival he goes do you want to go from just experiencing revival into hosting revival jesus is going to now take them into what is the wine skin what's the culture the individual and corporate culture that attracts heaven's glory to abide what is it that gets his attention we're back to isaiah 66 because he ends in matthew 7 with two houses can i preach this morning two houses two houses sand that falls when it gets hard rock that thrives when it gets hard that's what the sermon on the mount is all about is building a house that can endure building a house that can stand building a house that can house his glory building a house that can thrive in the midst of shaking rains winds and floods are coming reigns of glory and reigns of crisis reigns of the manifest glory and presence of god and reigns of the sin of man and the hostility of the nations against god where is the house that can stand where is the person that can stand that has built something internal i like to say it this way that in the days of peace lived as if they were in war so that in the days of war they're abiding in peace what did habakkuk say that's it i'm going to trim what was the phrase how do you say it tremble in the day of he goes i'm going to tremble in the day of peace that i would have peace in the day of trembling are you hearing what i'm saying i want to build a life that attracts his presence i want to build a life that thrives this is not this is for keeps i want to do the hard work today so that i can thrive in glory as it intensifies because whatever you're petting today in the secret place will become a goliath in the increasing days whatever you're flirting with in the days of peace seeing the multitudes he went up on a mountain and when he was seated court's in session decrees are about to be released ancient of days is on his throne his disciples came to him a new apostolic movement and he opened his mouth i love that phrase i could preach on it but i'm not but i am the one who had been silent the one who spoke at various times and in various ways through the old testament showed up in different forms spoke different things born into the world we see him for a brief moment at 12. he's silent for 30 years come out of the baptismal waters fights the devil in the wilderness amasses a crowd and then he opens his mouth what's going to come out of the mouth of yahweh coming out of his mouth beloved you need to get your notes out because whatever comes out of his mouth next is of the deepest stuff is of the most important stuff and it's the stuff that's a matter between life and death he opened his mouth and when he opened his mouth the first word out of his mouth is the word blessed he that word means happy the enviable life and jesus is going to appeal to everyone's longing for happiness greatness success and he's about to show what's your vip card in my kingdom he's about to say this is the stuff we really celebrate around here this is the stuff that we want to emulate and this is the stuff we exalt and this is the stuff you never graduate from it is the complete antithesis of the kingdoms of this world i'm not going to come on there is not a more wrecking ball wet message than what i'm about to open my mouth and say jesus is going to appeal to everyone's longing to be happy and he and i always picture him in the room who wants to be happy we do and he goes blessed are the poor in spirit theirs is the kingdom of heaven your entrance point and the way you live is a deep fundamental awareness of your need poverty of spirit is the deep fundamental gut level reality that apart from him you can do nothing and that you have nothing without him now it's one thing to say that but worship your victimhood i'm poor i know i'm horrible i know i'm horrible that's one part of it and that's called pride because you're worshiping what you have versus what he is offering to you and if you can actually pull out what you don't have and make divine transactions with him for what he does have he will bring forth the kingdom of heaven in your life blessed are the poor spirits i'm gonna take my time this morning i imagine those hands went from about there to who starts off the constitution of your kingdom by saying the happy ones are the poor in spirit the happiest ones are the ones who are in the deepest touch of their need and have gotten over their need and learned how to access my riches number two blessed are those who mourn jesus we just mourn at funerals he goes no let me define to you what morning is it's pain over the gap do you know what produces a groan do you know what produces mourning when the revelation of what you were made for collides with the revelation of where you're at and when the revelation of what you were made for and what god is what jesus paid for you at calvary and has made available to you in the grace of god what you were made for for billions of years when that collides with where you're currently at what begins to fill that gap is mourning it's the pain over the gap and god says for those who declare war on all the comforts that this world can afford god says you will be comforted by heaven you must understand that we live in a world of comforts if there's one thing that the spirit of this age is after it's after medicating the pain anesthetizing the pain insulating the pain creating as many barriers from the pain and offering as many comforts to dial down the primal ache for the face of god we that's why that's what repentance is it's a lifetime of saying i refuse to let anything of this world be the primal source of my comfort be the primary source of my that touches the deep things of my heart you don't graduate from this friend this is called happiness we say the most full ones because um america and the kingdoms of this world are all bent on god forbid you ever mourn over anything god forbid you're poor in anything now i understand the prosperity of the believer the prosperity of the soul but poverty of spirit is the spirit that takes the prosperity of god and serves it and you never graduate from that reality a lot of people and we'll get to that in a second a lot of people are really hungry for god in the early days when ain't got nothing but poverty of spirit accesses the riches of god and many times we'll get that and say well hallelujah i'll keep same language but i ain't ever going back to those days and god says you never graduate from those days morning we live in a world of comforts we live in a world that wants to anesthetize the pain the devil goes he'll fight till you get saved and then he goes it's okay we'll just do frog in the kettle let him acclimate to the culture and over months and years and decades that deep groan will get calmed and will domesticate them we'll domesticate them you know this is what moves the devil someone who says i have i refuse to buy into the lie and the seduction of your comforts blessed are the meek they shall inherit the earth blessed are the ones who take their resources take their power take their authority take their privilege and they use it and it throws them in to serving the weakest serving the marginalized fighting for the widow fighting for the orphan the giving and the servant we live in a world that says with your power your resources and your money you can insulate yourself behind your gates and you can wave to everybody in your nice cars as you're insulated from the others but meekness that's why it's a matthew 20 reality the rulers of the gentiles they lord it over you but it shall not be so among you we're going to do things different in this kingdom the ones with the most authority give the most serve the most labor the most sacrifice the most they go all in to lift up everyone to walking in this reality jesus says that the meek will inherit the earth that's psalm 37. we're going to inherit it a little bit some in this age but friend this is the one who gets cities in the age to come i'm wearing a shirt under here it's called 10 cities it's out of luke 19. jesus says to the ones who've been faithful with one city i'm going to make you ruler over 10 cities you can steward phoenix he may give you the whole southwest region in the age to come he may give you the whole west coast then jesus takes us to hungering and thirsting for righteousness i call it sustained poverty of spirit hungering and thirsting for righteousness god's rightness manifested in every area of my life god's rightness established in my thought life in my emotions in my desires in my marriage in my family and that we living a life of hungering and thirsting for righteousness i call it staying poor in spirit while in prosperity i probably shared this with you before but because i'm a rocky balboa fan this is a this is such a poignant example of what i'm talking about rocky goes from nowhere becomes champion of the world at the end of rocky 2 rolls into rocky iii he's the champion of the world more money than he's ever had more influence than he's ever had he's fighting a bunch of bum fighters and he's enjoying the easy life for the first time in his life all the pain of those little boxing clubs and in philadelphia has now brought him into the champion of the world and he's coasting and there's an up-and-coming fighter named clubber lang mr t rocky's manager has seen him fight and ro and mr t is saying you tell rocky i'm coming for him rocky don't know him but he tells his manager i'm coming for him i'm coming for him well they're going to unveil the statue in philadelphia to rocky and rocky is going to retire and he's standing up there and he's doing his retirement speech mr t comes out of the crowd and go yeah get out now that you see me coming get out now that you see me coming starts talking trash about him his wife everything he goes you're just fighting a bunch of paper you ain't fighting nobody anymore comes at him and rocky goes let's do it let's do it and mickey his manager just leaves and goes off in the back room and they go off into the back room and rocky goes why won't you let me fight him let me fight him let me fight him comes adam comes adam and mickey turns around and he goes you can't win rock he goes this guy is nasty he is raw he is fierce he goes heck i ain't seen you like that in years he goes three years ago you were supernatural you had a cast iron jaw you were fierce nobody could touch you and then they sit down and he goes the worst thing that could have happened to a fighter has happened to you you got domesticated no no it is the most subtle deceptive spirit in the midst of america is to get domesticated and i believe that the primal the primary reality is a life on the inside that loses what rocky 3 calls that eye of the tiger that sense of rawness that sense of desperation i ask myself when's the last time i had a fresh fast under my belt when's the last time i cried over bible verses when's the last time i whispered jesus and demons came out of people when's the last time i wasn't into a popularity contest i care less about fear about man's opinion man pleasing spirit where i wasn't into networking but i was into being true to god and being raw and having a buoyancy about me and a liberation from the tentacles of this age and the deceptive thing about deception is it's deceiving nobody knows they're deceived that's the deceptive nature of it and so it takes god to expose you because i don't know how jacked up i am i need god to show me how jacked up i am and i need you and i need the spirit of god over you i love it that's why i love marvelous comrades i've got alan who's done this for me for 20 years someone who sings your song back to you when you forget it i have a friend from atlanta billy humphrey who did this to me a month and a half ago he didn't come in looking at me saying that he was just himself and when you hear that tuning fork when that tuning fork that when you have cultivated that fire in god when it comes out fresh of somebody else it recalibrates you and retunes you back to the ancient cry on your life but some of us don't even know what i'm talking about hungering and thirsting for righteousness blessed are the mercy i mean my goodness do you know that you're not going to be able to stand with me when i stand before the throne i can't tell jesus hey they really like my message in september of 2020. they really liked it a lot of views came in on that one i won't be go do it here tell jesus about it here jesus here's a hundred under the table and whatever he thinks about me in that moment is all that matters i can fool you i can impress you i can do you can do it to me i can do it to you but there is a man named truth and whatever he thinks about us is all that matters blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy we live in a harsh world we need tenderness in this hour but you can only give tenderness to others directly related to the tenderness you've received from abba we've got a bunch of people walking around with 50 000 debt collectors hey you owe me this and you owe me that you said this about me you owe me oh me oh me oh me and the lord says can we talk about the billion dollar debt i just cleared from you can we talk about that billion dollar debt you're walking around here beating everybody over your rights see that's what the sermon on the mount does it crucifies your rights it crucifies your privilege it crucifies what you're owed and it hits it blessed are the merciful a tenderness about us in this hour blessed are the pure in heart come on give me 10 more minutes and i finish it's about immorality but it's a lot more it's about motives and agendas people aren't commodities for your ends i don't you i don't want to use you for my goal do i want to hang out with you for my goal purity of heart is not motives with agendas how you treat people is what you're going to get out of them and that's the greatest reward if you can get clean on the inside live like nathanael with no guile that's why allen said it last night nathaniel's reward is he gets to see the heavens open and the angels ascending and descending upon the son of god jesus says blessed are the pure in heart they shall see god how about to get rid of the traffic on the inside of your soul manipulation using people the images the voices the culture that's tentacles that have so become a part of us and jesus says do you want to get happy which means do you want to get free because the happy ones are the free ones the happiest ones are the lightest in the spirit they're the untouchable ones they feel it they're stung but they tapped into something i i said it this way the other day i tweeted it so you m it must be good i don't exactly i don't have my phone shut off but the main point is this i'm going to try to do it by memory i you you can endure any mistreatment betrayal and pain as long as your pain of growing in the revelation of jesus is greater is that it yeah yeah that clap's good do you know why the pain mistreatment stuff sidetracked so many of us it's because they were the goal it doesn't mean we don't feel it it doesn't mean we got to take our breath we got to catch ourselves it doesn't mean it might take us a second to get there but at the end of the day the governing force of my life the greatest pain the thing that keeps me up at night is not what you said about me it's can i grow in the revelation of this man he is a shoreless ocean and we we've sold our inheritance for a little bit of money a little bit of fame a little bit of success a little bit of this a little bit of that and when it's taken the pain that fills our souls and clouds our view of him that right there is what will short-circuit so many people but as long as the greatest pain of your life i want to know this man i want to know him in the glory and the glory i want to know him in every season but i refuse to let any amount of money and any amount of betrayal steal from that pain right there my god this is jesus's first message mouths were hanging open at the end of this one blessed are the peacemakers i didn't say peacekeepers i didn't say blessed are the passive aggressive blessed are those who keep the gossip train going for the sake of peace i call a blessed or the intercessor someone comes to you with pain about somebody else say i hear you i feel you but can we go to their house right now and you tell them what you just told me a peacemaker seeks to get in between the tension alan does this better than anybody i've ever seen to fight for the hearts of people to get everyone in the same page and to live in the tension instead of proliferating accusation and gossip slander they'll be called sons of god blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness though theirs is the kingdom blessed are the ones who stand with jesus who take the hits that jesus would take and as you take it jesus is taking it who will stand with jesus these eight realities each one is worth a trillion dollars each one of these eight beautiful flowers are eight trillion dollars that god has said you want to cultivate these eight things above everything else that's my definition of happiness that's success and greatness in the eyes of heaven you need to build an electric fence around these things you need to put it into a bank vault and not give anybody the code you need to guard these eight things you need to rid yourself of the spirit of anger it starts with they wounded me turns into bitterness turns into avoiding them turns into i would rather they be knocked off the planet spirit of adultery the glance of the eye that fills the thoughts that touches the emotions that manifest in actions the pharisees had made it so easy husbands you want a new wive get one it's really easy just sign this thing jesus says you guys missed it you've turned it into how easy and looking for any reason to get out of a marriage he goes i want covenant i don't want that treacherous spirit anymore i want you to fight for family fight for marriage he says don't get into exaggeration and manipulation don't use your words to make it sound like you're a 10 if you're really a three jesus is getting up in our business it's been it's not business it's been there he's just it's the scalpel is out it's always on the mountain and he's going oh you guys turn this whole religious thing into externals so you can live at a distance have all the pomp have all the language have all the persona have all the systems you have it all he goes i've come to get up into your business i want to bring forth the spirit that shifts you on the inside that changes you on the inside what gets heaven's attention the one who gave moses the ten commandments is now talking to us about the true holy spirit and about the spirit he wants to see cultivated he goes i don't want you checking this off religious boxes i want you motivated on a different way manipulation demanding justice retaliation i've seen more believers lose their soul in trying to make something that was done wrong to them right i've seen more shipwrecks by someone losing their soul and trying to make it right and it was wrong he talks about five grace fertilizers prayer in secret fasting in secret i got a question i'm not here to say anything because i i know it and i've had my seasons where i do and where i don't are you guys doing this fast i don't feel a lot of buzz around the fasting i want you to sign up you've got another 30 days leading up to this doorkeeper's revival conference fasting and secret i don't care if you show it i don't show it to anybody but make secret choices in your life and watch what begins to happen in your soul fasting that was literally the other message i wanted to preach today but the lord led me this way i wanted to preach to you on fasting fasting makes you vulnerable fasting makes the word of god go from a whisper to a roar it breaks down your defenses of you living in the strength of your personality it weakens your strongholds so the word of god can come in like a wrecking ball it builds a landing strip for the spirit of revelation it makes you tender to god it opens up new doors of power i want to invite fresh start you've got 30 days leading up to door keepers get into this fast well i don't want to be religious whatever we don't have that problem i promise you we don't have that problem we all do it wrong and well i don't want to do it wrong you'll do it wrong and then you'll hit a wall and you'll discover it's not about your willpower it's about the grace of god and you don't stop because you'll do it wrong and then you'll do it right then you do it wrong again then you'll do it right again everybody wants to stand well i want to do it right that day will never come jump in and start doing it skip lunch [Applause] go through a day i'm taking every day at lunch i'm taking that hour and i'm gonna seek god for the doorkeeper revival conference that god would break in and god would move well i hate fasting because every time i fast i get angry [Laughter] you know why you're angry because there's anger in you all all the food did was remove and you're getting to meet you for the first time [Applause] god says i see that all the time that unperceived anger that resides on the inside of you you don't get your way we take a big mac out of there look at what happens to you well i'm angry that's what we read richard foster's celebration of discipline he said god i hate it because every time i get angry every time i fast i get angry and god says that's the problem you get angry because there's anger in you fasting removes the lust the anger the jealousy i hate weakness you know that's the issue can i boil it down we and that shows us how ingrained in the american culture we are we hate weakness not feeling my best the clearest up here i'm a little wobbly i'm not as clear as anybody some of y'all whatever i got all the disclaimers i don't feel like being disclaimers right now you hate weakness that's your issue we hate weakness we despise it because it's not you and the strength of your personality it's not you and the strength of your gifting it's not you and the strength of your intellectual capabilities and god has a limp about you and that's unnerving to us we've been doing this for a second at the end of the day it's i hate weakness but i want to tell you i want to glory in my weakness i want to glory in my weaknesses give god my weakness my utter nothingness giving in secret forgiveness in secret serving in secret and jesus says if you do these things he says you will be like men who built their house on the rock do you know everybody heard the sermon on the mount everybody was at the conference everybody got the t-shirt jesus said just cause you hear it those who heard it and did not do it were like people who built their house on the sand i believe with all my heart that god is offering an invitation to fresh start to be a house that stands an apostolic house a house that can be a great light to the southwest a great open door that's available to you but i want to tell you i believe that god wants to take this next season of revival into building sermon on the mount culture at the deep level because i want to make it very clear to you we talk about revival there's not one revivalist in history pastor paul is going through second grade awakenings you go through azusa street i don't think bartleman ate for a year i'm not just trying to be whatever but i'm just telling you it looks like an embracing of weakness it looks like a it's not about the best me with the best god it's going to change the world a lot of us just think best of me with best of god change the world and as you go deeper into this thing it's going to be the slow burning away of you and the exaltation of god that's what happens and the time you feel least qualified to do anything for him is your most qualified place it's the place he will release the most do the most manifest the most when you feel the least qualified that's what revival culture does and i believe with all my heart this is the wine skin jesus is saying i want to do more than just release healings deliverances and salvations i want to invite all of you in because this is what attracts heaven's glory this is the thing that gets his attention this is the narrow gate amen amen let's stand i like you man what's your name yes dude's beautiful [Applause] i've been watching him all week weekend i think i could teach you a little bit on dancing but other than that no i really feel like i really feel like god's bringing him forward in this season god's marking this young man he is he's locked eyes with jesus in the secret place and i just feel promotion coming to you buddy he loves you it's beautiful man your heart for him is beautiful and he sees your deep prayers and and the things that you've prayed in secret he's seeing you man and i'm grateful for you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] who wants to enter into the declaration of dependence the constitution of the king just lift your hands and we'll pray for you today [Music] i just want to speak it over you blessed are the poor in spirit do you know why why we're not happy in the kingdom because we resist his ways we resist his strivings with us to make us more meek and make us more poor of spirit and how to navigate those waters that's the matthew 11 28 come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and i'll give you rest he says learn from me from meek [Music] hey a lot of us go i don't like that verse it's just some shepherd verse they've just destroyed but oh i want to tell you the buoyant heart is the freed heart [Music] god i pray right now that you would build glory i declare it heaven's my throne earth is my footstool where is the house that you will build for me all those things exist says the lord but on this one will i look on this one will i look god we want to catch your attention god i want to get your attention in my life cut i want a life that catches your gaze [Music] on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit and who trembles at my word god i pray that you would shift fresh start as we prepare for this season god i do believe it this is a significant conference that's going on next month i feel like it's a drive in the ground i want to invite fresh start the family here to enter into the next month of fasting i ask here's my favorite prayer that god's always answered if you want if you if you want it open up your hands right now just where you're at god will answer this prayer i tell you and it's this say god [Music] give me the grace for fasting i receive the grace for fasting speak to me god on how it looks what it looks like but i'm tired of talking about it i'm gonna jump in [Music] god i pray that you would break through with the grace of fasting that there'll be a fasting movement this next month that we would go from just excitement that people are coming into oh god god's coming and i want to i want to build you a home in my life god i want to break up the fallow ground brother was singing about breaking up fallow ground earlier we want to break up the fallow ground we're going to rid ourselves of the hardness of heart and prepare ourselves pray for the grace of fasting some of you have been wronged in this last season [Music] and you've lost your way in demanding justice and seeking retaliation and god saying friend i want you to know i want you to bring that to me and put me to work for you i want you to put me to work for you i will turn this thing around if that's you i want you to raise your hand i believe god wants to make this right in this season some of you have had money stolen from you some of you have had your reputation maligned father you see hands right now all over this place right now we release it right now god we bless that person we release it to you right now jesus god i release i release that person right now [Music] but into your hands and god i just pray right now that you're gonna make it right just tell god say god you're going to make it right [Music] and i'll trust you to make it right in your own timing and in your own way [Music] hallelujah some of us in here we've gotten we've gotten stuffed in the prosperity we went after god in one season blessing came and we've slowly begun to have the same language of that but yet the same rawness isn't on us [Music] i can fool you i can fool everybody but i know that tenderness and that buoyancy and that fire that freshness on my spirit and you're like god i want a fresh fire and freshness on my life you raise your hand [Music] father we ask you for the baptism of the holy spirit [Music] just just speak to him right now speak to him right now god moves so gloriously here corporately but sometimes i think there's so much corporate stuff i don't know i want to invite you into deeper individual transaction god we ask you right now that you would release fresh fire she would release first love this is fresh start i pray for freshness and fire buoyancy rawness to touch our inner man i pray for a fresh reach yes god i ask you right now that you would release your fire upon our hearts god i want to be free on the inside i want fire on the inside god where nobody's watching god i want that morning back on my inner man come on the lord says repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand it's an hour to repent just want to echo just one plea in agreement of course with everything corey spoke but especially about the fasting and we've obviously made this call out i mean we're halfway into it or whatever from our 40 days now and we have encouraged you guys to to fast along with us and i don't need to repeat anything that would add to what he said there towards the end of the message but as your pastors we ask you on behalf of the assignment not only of just the conference that's coming up but the assignment on this house that you join with us in spirit and yes in the natural in fasting and doing what it takes to break things open and as corey so awesomely said all of those things happen when we give ourselves uh voluntarily to weakness and that's what fasting is and so we ask you join us if you haven't been doing it jump in now and fast what we have designated is fasting one meal a day if that's breakfast lunch dinner something that is a sacrifice to you but yet during that time if at all possible uh praying for that hour or whatever it is we are we're we've been doing it here at the church as a staff since we launched it on the i believe the 18th of last month and uh every day for the most part it's lunch for us but it can be other meals but just join with us because god is going to do amazing things not only through the conference but in and through you amen during this time so
