Last to TALK in Chat gets Nitro! (INSANE LAG...)

hello everyone this is sound drought and in this video i'm gonna be making my server burn well that's not exactly the goal but i think that's what's gonna happen so what's gonna happen is we got this chat here and i'm gonna be locking this chat every couple of minutes and the last person to send a message in this chat after it's locked will receive nitro simple but it's probably gonna make the server explode because obviously everyone wants to be the last person so there's gonna be a lot of spam as you can imagine all right so i got this message here it's basically explaining the whole event if you want to read it you can do it it's really simple so you probably don't need to read it um let's go ahead and start alright i've made it so anyone in the server can see this channel and we got a couple of reactions because there's people here yet people are starting to realize that the chat exists which is great alrighty i'm gonna make the announcement here with an event ping which is a lot of people uh let's do this all right yep the reactions have gone up a little bit almost 200 all right can you imagine 200 people spamming in a channel at the same time oh boy okay ask people if they're ready 200 reactions instantly wow that's quite a lot oh my god 300 reactions what i didn't know there were this many people oh no this is gonna be terrible okay we have over 600 reactions on this message now i think we're gonna start now all right for the first round i'm gonna make it a one minute slow mode so they have to time this really well basically if they wanna get the last message pretty much only one chance here so this is gonna be really intense and i'll lock the chat again within a few minutes as long as discord lets me because it's probably going to take longer than that and off we go here we go discord instantly crashed oh no oh wow oh my lord um instant regret yep we're getting a whole lot of a rate limiting here because it's so much spam wow the chat keeps freezing because of so much lag it just it can't keep up so it's freezing completely look at that and now it's starting to load again wow all right i think i'm going to lock it now because it's actually going to kill discord all right i'm locking the chat now boom i think it worked did it alright so it's it's been like a minute and the chat hasn't moved at all so i'm going to refresh discord and hopefully it'll show the real winner because all the messages will come through hopefully oh i refreshed and horror is the winner all right let's do the event again and i made a little reaction and look at all those people wow that was pretty crazy not gonna lie all right so i've set the slow mode to 45 seconds now instead of one minute so it's a little bit easier for them but there's gonna be more people spamming okay unlocking chat now there we go oh that was too much laggy there's too many messages wow and it's frozen again oh my lord several people are typing yeah i think that's an understatement discord like can you imagine how many people are typing right now in chat it's like all right there we go it's starting to load a little bit just a little bit all right we'll give it some more time it looks like one of my mods is also trying to get the nitro amber lawn wow and there we go the chat is starting to work wow oh there we go it's starting to load some more perfect perfect i can see that my bot is still working fine this is actually really impressive i mean i expected my bot to crash like 10 billion times but it's still working somehow so i'm pretty happy about that look people in general chat said their messages aren't even loading look it's not loading ah all right i think i'm gonna lock the chat again and see who won here we go blocking chat boom okay so i'm gonna have to refresh discord and see who the winner was here we go all right there we go the winner was oh demise nice all right i also have to wait for my message to load look oh no it's still loading come on there we go perfect man i'm trying to set the slow mode there we go alright 10 second slow mode oh boy so before basically they only had one message to send because i locked it after like a minute but now they got like 10 messages within a minute so it's gonna be way more spammy alright i'm gonna unlock the chat and here we go and unlocked there we go all right time for an insane amount of spam oh boy all right it's 10 seconds slow mode guys so they're gonna be able to send one message every 10 seconds and there's like 500 of them so that's 500 messages every 10 seconds oh no it's frozen like immediately oh boy all right there there we go another wave coming through oh my god well i wouldn't be surprised if you wake up tomorrow and are unpartnered uh i don't i don't hey it's under control okay we're moderating everything it's all right it's all right though we are kind of um kind of exploding discord servers right now but i think i think that it's okay it's like it's it's handling it fine it's fine all right we've given them like a couple minutes now let's lock the chat so that we can see who the last person was there we go okay i locked the chat and let's refresh to see the winner and the winner was ender 2k all right time to wait like 10 minutes for this message to go through oh boy yay gg ender 2k another winner oh look he said that he won and he's on mobile oh so i guess it is possible for anyone you just need like the best iphone or something oh my god this guy sent a screenshot of his dms wow oh my god i feel bad for this guy oh no okay note to self if you ever win one of my events in the future close your dms please oh my god all right so those three rounds were pretty easy now i'm gonna make it even harder so i'm gonna unlock the chat and then i'm gonna lock it really fast and the winner will get two months of ten dollar nitro which is twenty dollars worth wow and of course the slow mode will be zero all right on second thought let's not do that because um probably don't want to make everyone's device explode so let's let's just set it to one that's pretty that's pretty fast right and i'm gonna be unlocking and then locking like really quick all right so let's see what happens and here we go all right so it's gonna be so fast you probably won't be able to even see chat i'm sorry well you know actually i have big brain technology as you can see so we can see it at the same time alright let's do this so unlocking now you can see chat and locking again come on lock please lock the chat lock the chat come on oh no it's frozen i can't do it okay there we go finally and now chad is locked nice alright so uh you could just kind of see what happened there and refresh and the winner was cloud nice gg well cloud got the very last message so that's twenty dollars worth of nitro sweet gg boys everyone in general saying gg i'm gonna scream oh no they couldn't send a message oh look they were the last one but your message could not be delivered alright so it's time to give the winners their nitro first is cloud there you go two ten dollar gifts just for you all right and then the first winner will receive their classic second winner will also get an epic classic there we go and i'll give the third winner a regular because you know 10 seconds slow mode that's pretty tough man that's a lot of spam so there you go well
