and sadly I don't have time to try that again because today we're going to see
the armadillo in game for the first time, test the wolf armor
and we have some dinosaurs! But I'm not going to let you wait.
Let's take a look at the armadillo. Someday I'll bore my grandchildren
by telling them where I was during this momentous moment in history! Not to overhype it, but this is like the moon landing
meets the Big Bang meets my birthday! Let's roll the clip of the armadillo
rolling into Minecraft! Are we sure we're looking
at the right footage? Well, we're getting warmer.
Let's keep looking! Colder now. Yes! The armadillo! But it's all curled up. Maybe I shouldn't have shouted
for the entire opening of the show. "The armadillo curls up
when it feels threatened." Okay, so we need to make it feel
as unthreatened as possible. If you're watching this episode and leave a
threatening comment, could you rewrite it? Thanks, let's see if that works
and our new friend is ready to come out. Hi, little friend! This cautious mob lives in savanna biomes, and will roll into a blocky ball
if it feels threatened by certain mobs or fast-moving players. Isn't it cute? Well, kind of...
Except its favorite food is spider eyes. Trust us to introduce a cuddly new mob and
then give it the yuckiest diet imaginable. That's the Minecraft difference. I've had worse. You should see what they
serve in the Mojang Studios canteen! The armadillo drops scutes
which could be used to craft wolf armor. So when the armadillo enters Minecraft
wolf armor will too! But when will this happen? Sorry, we've got bats in the studio again. They're probably pestering me to tell you that re-textured bats now have moved from
the caves in Snapshot, Beta, and Preview to both editions of Minecraft! Same goes for decorated pots,
so go play around with the storage function and check out the adorable, huge ears

Hey, I thought this show was pre-recorded. Live to me! Thanks, me! I've dressed the part
and as soon as people have gathered I will announce when wolf armor
and armadillos will be playable! I'm so exc... Sorry, me! I've got to cut you off there. Apparently, we haven't shown the players
why this wolf armor is so exciting. Let's do that first. -But...

-Good, me! For years Minecraft players have been
afraid to take their wolfs on walkies for fear they'll be slain
by one of Minecraft's many hostile horrors. Luckily the armadillo drops scutes that
can be used to craft armor for your wolf, giving your pet
defense similar to diamond horse armor. And it's time to show it off.
Not on me of course! It wouldn't fit. So, we've got this wolf
to walk the catwalk instead. You look great, wolf!
Ignore the jealous wolves! You're a star, darling! A star! Now let's show off
how effective the wolf armor is. Look how strong it is! An unprotected wolf
doesn't always survive that. And I've heard that it will defend your wolf
from even more powerful foes too! But when do you get to try it? Wait! Where's the audience? And the me? Vu! Tell us when we can try the armadillo
and wolf armor so I can get my big break! Sorry, apparently it's already out in Beta,
Preview and very soon in Java Snapshot. I'm playing with wolf armor and armadillos
right now! And so is everyone else.
