Hi there! My name's Vu Bui
and you're watching "Minecraft Monthly", the allegedly entertaining
Minecraft news show. Today we'll be talking armadillo update... A key? Wait! Is this my long-lost house key?
I can finally turn off my oven! Wait, no... I remember this now. The
mysterious trial key is coming to Minecraft! But what does it open?
I hope we'll found out later! Back to the armadillo! The armadillo rolled into Snapshots, Betas
and Preview late last year because we wanted you to give us
your feedback so we could make this cute, new mob
even better. And you didn't disappoint. Oh, I'm sorry and confused. But don't worry, we've already updated it! Say goodbye to the armadillo
and hello to eye-madillo! You can go and introduce yourself
to the new re-textured armadillo right now! Tell them Vu sent you. I mean, nothing will happen,
I just like being mentioned. And while you're there, keep giving us
feedback on all the upcoming 1.21 features you can try before their release
in the update later this year. You can test the trial chambers, battle
the Breeze, autocraft with the Crafter and change your minds
and tell us you like the eye-madillo design. Apart from that last one, we'd love
your feedback. Please give us more! Coming up! We'll be talking about
the mysterious trial key. But what could this key be for? You again! Get away from my car! Let's show you
an amazing community creation: The world's longest Minecraft stare. No, not that kind of stare! Like, stairs! Reddit user DyLaNGG2566 recently built
a staircase in Minecraft that uses every block that has a height
difference and put them all in height order. All to make the longest descending
staircase possible. Let's go to our stair cam! It might take a little while to see this build
at its best. Let's come back to it. Still to come: What is this? A new block?! Shouldn't big news like this
be mentioned earlier? Nah, let's talk about it later. Minecraft Education news now: Let's take
a look at the new Planet Earth DLC. Step into a wondrous world inspired
by the new landmark series from BBC Studios Natural History Unit
"Planet Earth III". Experience survival as predator and prey
in this free DLC as you play as various animals including
the Cape fur seal, the great white shark, not the eye-madillo, the muskox,
Arctic wolf and more! Unlock rewards
as you learn about each animal. Well, that's all the animal news covered, so I guess there's nothing left
but to talk about... Godzilla! What are you doing here?
You're supposed to be in the next episode. Unbelievable...
Let's check in with the stair cam! Hey! Did you subscribe
to the Minecraft YouTube channel? Yes, certainly. Oh! Wrong stair cam. Now that's more like it!
Great job, DyLaNGG2566! Now, are you ready for the trial key
and the new block, the Vault? Trial keys are found in trial chambers. And today we're giving you a sneak peek
that's so top secret I might actually have to ask you
to close your eyes. Are they closed? Good! Now then, meet the new block: The Vault! The Vault requires a trial key to unlock. Once unlocked,
the Vault will eject some rewards. Just a reminder, your eyes better be shut.
I'm looking at you, eye-madillo! Ever gone to a structure in Minecraft and all the chests have already been looted
by your friends? With the new Vault found in trial chambers
that won't be a problem anymore. Unlike those chests, vaults can still reward
players after they've been looted by others. But before you start stealing
all your friends' keys, each Vault can only be unlocked
once per player. It's just too bad that this feature
is never coming to Minecraft! Shame. Hang on, it is coming to Minecraft!
Very soon! In Snapshot, Preview and Beta! Okay, you can open your eyes now. Hi again! See you next month!
