usually drive in for the camp meeting didn't come this year just because the obvious but we appreciate you being here tonight and we hope that you will be blessed and i'm going to go over the states that's represented here and if i miss your state at the end like there may be states that came in today that we didn't know about that wasn't here last night just hollered out here we'll start with lives in ohio there you go i never did get that figured out i ain't gonna ask no questions oklahoma right we've got two groups from oklahoma praise the lord uh did i miss anything north carolina amen house that was once a home she said my bills they're coming to the lord and six days is not that long she hears a voice so still and low he says why do you doubt me i moved like that before i can do tommy is kind of on the same page with everything going on this year he said he's sort of thinking of all these old psalms that really meant something to him and i've been doing the same thing the last six months i have sang songs many songs i've never seen in my life but songs that came back to my remembrance i would hear mom and dad and the saints sing growing up this was one of those songs they would sing it says god made him a church [Music] because he needed someone [Music] that would hold up the banner till the victory [Music] this is why we have to do things we've got to carry on church [Music] till jesus comes [Music] there's no other way his work can be done with the father's commission [Music] to shine the sun [Music] till jesus comes you see we have the power [Music] and we have the night to show those the way through through this perilous night this is what it boils down to right here there's souls in the bounds [Music] oh yes we do till jesus come everybody's people all these pastors that's come in from north south east and west and all you fine folks that's come to beat this camp meeting this is our last night of camp meeting and we'll be having a homecoming service sunday morning brother terry sister claudia will be here with us i want brother terry to come and greet this congregation right now come on brother terry he was my pastor back in the early 1980s hallelujah that's a long time ago brother it's good to be in camp meeting i said it's good to be in camp meeting [Applause] yeah there's one thing about it when the people of god get together there's two things they can do they can give god a lot of praise and they can eat a lot of food somebody asked us once our little church down here we've got several denominations that come and they go what is fellowship [Music] i said that's when the people of god get together and they talk and they share things and they eat and so now every time we have an activity they say is this fellowship i said well if we're going to talk about the lord need it's fellowship i was reading today in the book of mark and there was a time that the disciples were in a boat and there was a storm raging and the bible said that jesus came walking on the water [Music] and would have passed them by except they cried out hallelujah jesus i tell you what the lord's been in this place all week he's here tonight and he's walking these eyes and if you leave here with your need not bad it's because you didn't cry out to the lord crying out to the lord is something that christians don't like to do because it lets people know that we have got shortcomings failures let me tell you i've been saved 49 years i've cried out to him almost every day of my life because there's something i need from him i need him to move for me in every situation and circumstance it's good to be here at homecoming well praise god brother look forward to hearing brother terry sunday morning we've had we've had some great great ministry this week i'm telling you we have last night was awesome with pastor tommy bates and it's going to be great tonight amen if you come with a need tonight you need to put god's hands and say i'm not leaving here like i can but i'm leaving here amen with my promise in hand but god is going to take care of me there may be somebody here that you're at the end of your rope your back's against a wall let me tell you what that's when god begins to move and perform miracles anybody believe in miracles we serve a miracle working god amen a miracle working god don't ever forget that no such thing amen as an age of miracles we serve a god of miracles hallelujah he's still god somebody say he's still god he's still on the throne come on he's not asleep he's not on vacation he's not sick amen he's still god and he's going to take care of his people he will take care of you tonight if you believe him but right now we want to receive a special offering from pastor tommy that will bless him amen that's right that will bless him we always want god to bless us is that right we want god to bless us so we we're going to believe that brother brother tommy's going to get a blessing tonight from this congregation for redemption road church so get that offering ready get that that tithe ready amen that you're going to put in that plate and god's going to bless you for the this offering father we know lord that you're in charge of all that you know all and i pray fathers your people give tonight lord that you would just open the windows of heaven lord pour out blessings that there's not even room enough to contain for i know there's many maybe even give out their need tonight lord there's many have come to this campaign lord they've read rooms and and they've taken time off from work just to be in your house to receive a blessing from your lord financially maybe it didn't seem like a logical thing to do but god they're trusting you and as each one gives tonight i pray god you will return it to him press down shaken together good measure and running over we ask us in the mighty name of jesus amen just give to the lord tonight let god bless you hallelujah i was on and i do have pretty good ears i slowed it down for you too they had a little too fast for the words that one has to be you gotta you gotta walk that one down because you got a lot of words in there to get out how many are here tonight you were not here last night stand to your feet this is attendance check it's a good thing you weren't it's a good thing you weren't here last night there would have been no place to put you let's give god a praise for those that are welcome tonight [Music] i appreciate all that's everyone that's made these homecoming we didn't get to have our homecoming we didn't get to have anything this year we didn't have youth conference didn't have wind powering women's didn't have youth camp didn't have kids camp didn't have youth missions trip that we haven't had our home coming we haven't we're not having we have just been knocked out as far as those extra things are but uh i'm glad you got to have it and i'm glad that i got to be somewhere to see somebody glory to god yeah somebody said well i'm glad you're here i said i'm glad i'm here too i'm glad to be anywhere right now you wake up every morning wonder if tomorrow's gonna be any different it was today i know you wake up you say is today going to be different than it was yesterday it just keeps on going i was thinking when uh brother lol well terry was up here and all the wonderful times you know in my younger years my kids were little we'd all travel and do what we could for the lord's work and stand at your mom and dad's house brother sister smith i had a big old owl a great horn dallas he's still around that big old owl he was stuffed by the way it's illegal to do that now it's a 500 fine don't do it and it was given to me and when i got married the owl went with me and the kids were afraid of it and my wife you know she's a harlan she gets her way she said the owl's got to go they don't like the owl so he ended up at brother smith's down there and just all the wonderful wonderful memories of of being with the family of god i wouldn't want to live with any of the better people i'm glad i wasn't raised in a hoop nanny or a shin digger club i'm glad i don't know what it's like to sit around and do see doe with the square dance with everybody i'm glad i never in my life there wasn't an ashtray in our house there wasn't even magazines i grew up in a house that the only only book that was read was the bible and uh and i thank god for the enemy tried to tell me i was caged up he said you're caged up you got to get out of his cage my cousins did get out of the cage and the lifestyle of the 70s about killed him the days of the sexual revolution and the drug revolution just about killed him and our little pentecostal church looked like it was going to be wiped out until sister floyd our pastor's wife she called 72-hour prayer chains fasting and prayer and had prayer chains going around the clock and in 1972 they didn't know what their kids were doing they were we were very strict very very strict as far as appearance goes and lifestyle they preached a hard message on restitution if you got saved and you've done people wrong you made it right that was the old way of the holiness people they not only believed in getting sanctified but they believed in cleaning up your mess too going back and making things right telling people you're sorry and things of that sort they didn't have any idea that while they were up there in the very very strict conservative church preachers like you know brother collins brother ely and the brother and sister cole they were frequent such a trent these were frequent people that came and preached at our church and johnny carter and harley hensley they were frequently there this was our 67th year at the home church where i'm pastoring it was their anniversary they came out of the appalachian mountains in the 50s and the people that got saved of course these other people came along and helped us along and we just praise god for the heritage that we have but during this time while their parents were up on the platform praising and magnifying god they didn't know that their teenagers were back there with lsd pot all kinds of things girls had carried it in their purses you know it's amazing how the devil will come right in your house it's amazing but you know it never came in my house not that it wouldn't try but my mother was a different kind of woman there there's no such thing as on your door private property do not disturb no way and she also moved our bedroom furniture around at least once a month because she didn't want the carpet to get a hole in it so my bed was spinned around when i went to school before i left for school my bed was made my clothes were never on the on the deck on the ground it never happened when we ate we cleaned the kitchen shook the rugs and the kitchen was clean and when we messed it up we cleaned it up it was just the old way of living but it sure made something out of some of us and um but in 1972 when 26 of them went to barberville youth camp on tuesday night while they were singing the walls came tumbling down power god hid back in the corner and that's what totally revolutionized our church they kept the prayer meetings going sister floyd now not only had the women and the men that she was praying with for 72 hours now she had 26 young people joining with her 1973 a 13-week revival broke loose with grover hensley originally from clay county kentucky and after that 13-week revival it lasted six years a six-year revival we couldn't take our bus anywhere without when we come back they'd be in the parking lot shouting and praising and magnifying god during that six-year span of the presence of god um the longest service we ever had went to went to 20 till 3. in our sunday school class my father-in-law he wasn't my father-in-law then but ralph blanton from harlem he was our sunday school teacher and all the gifts of the spirit as many unbelievable how the gifts of the spirit would move in that little 11 by 13 sunday school room we were 17 18 19 20 years old but the gifts of the spirit messages in tongues and interpretation where the tad our youth pastor was talking about i'd forgotten about it we were taking a trip somewhere i had my parents in the car he was talking about driving down 75 how the holy ghost came a quick move in the car with prophecy messages in tongue i'll have to be the one driving i was driving mom and dad and spirit moved on me moved on mom moved in the car we would go places to hold the meeting and prophecy would come on our way in the car tell us what was going to happen the first night i cast the devil out god said i was crossing i-75 bridge going to brother hale's church thursday night over in cincinnati crossing that old i-75 bridge right in the middle of it the holy ghost spoke through me and said tonight i suppose speaking in tongues you can speak in tongues with your eyes open and you better do it that way when you're driving now some of you think you've got to have a sinus headache before god can touch you you got to squeeze your nose and squeal for hours one of these days you'll get loosened up and realize this thing is a river it's a flowing river it's not a fire hydrant it's not something that gets kicked over one time a year somebody said i'm telling you right now when i move you know it's gone that's right because you only move once every three years and it'd take dynamite to blast you out then what i got works in the chicken house and i'm not lying either what i what i've got works with a bucket of feed in one hand walking out to my barn [Applause] what i got when i had coveted worked walking on my way the barn the holy ghost moved on me and i spit that stuff right out on the ground big old white look like cotton all this pride for prideful talk like you got some special holy ghost that only hits you once every five years that's nothing but a spirit of pride that's true if you can't let god flow through you any more than that you need to pray through i'm not talking about shouting some people can't even lift a hand and say thank you jesus i was crossing that bridge the holy ghost spoke to me and said tonight i will give you power to cast the devil out i was only 19 years old i sure didn't want to cast the devil out there's a woman praying she fell back in the floor and everybody thought she's under the power i thought she's under the power i walked by those eyes opened up like that and that growly voice looked at me when you're afraid of me she was right i got out of there quick well when that happened no pentecostal women when they know when they knew there's a devil in the house you better watch out they held that woman down they shook her they prayed for her they slopped oil all over her but she just laid there their eyes closed i went back to the water fountain i was terrified i said no i can't do this he said tonight i give you power to cast the devil out he said you've got to know how to cast the devil out and he dealt with me and i walked back up there because she still looks like she's asleep but when i walked up her eyes opened up again and gave that old crowley voice you're afraid of me i said no i'm not i said because the holy ghost already spoke to me today and said tonight i will cast the devil out and i said you're coming out in the name of jesus that devil saw the faith of god in my eyes and that demon started whining and crying said don't make me leave this is my oh please don't make me leave i said oh you're coming out i found out right there than a 19 year old green as i could be not knowing a whole lot about the moving of the spirit except for what i'd experienced myself that god wanted to show me that through the precious blood of jesus no weapon formed against me shall prosper that night the devil came out and jesus was glorified glory to god i said glory to god i'm thankful to be here i thank you for the fruit basket you gave me or the gift basket you gave me last night i opened it up and there was a maybe i shouldn't tell it but somebody i guess it was you i don't know who put the chuck beans in there i said what kind of baskin has shuck beans in it they're not cooked that's all right i know how to cook them and then there was some yellow tomato preserves oh mama made them who your mom she gave me some too and i said yellow tomatoes preserves i don't believe i've had that one yet when i opened it up took the spoon to take a taste of it i remembered i was at my great grandma's i was only about seven years old we went down in the cellar we saw some strange looking jars with some wax on top of them we opened the jars we knew it was good whatever it was we peeled the wax off and it must have been those tomato preserves because i haven't had that taste since and i thank you so much for everything and i'm so glad to see all you preachers here and i want us right now if you can to give the greatest thanksgiving to jesus christ for allowing this family to not only host this meeting but to be faithful through the storm and faithful listen this is homecoming it takes 360 days of the week to be able to make a homecoming and announce to the devil what you tried all year long you couldn't do because we're still here and [Music] then you get the calendar out and say satan put it on your appointment book for next year because if jesus don't come we'll be here for another celebration it's been a year that we cast the devil out it's been a year that we come out from among the world and we've been separated it's been a year that we've walked the highway called holiness it's been a year that sickness has had to flee it's been a year that the gospel's been preached it's been a year that souls have been saved it's been a year that we put our foot on the serpent's head it's been a year and we got ever right in a homecoming service to shout our shoe hills off up and to tear the carpet up and run the aisles because i made it i made it i made it i made it i made it and i made it now throw your hands up and let's give god a praise for this yoga family [Applause] [Music] i wish i was young i wish i wish i was younger when i was younger i could have said all of that running at the same time try it brother did you say try it right oh boy satan one more time look at the church try outfit is alive your cigarette couldn't get me back your beer couldn't get me back your joy couldn't get me back your filthy movies couldn't get me back your pornography couldn't get me back your sensuality could get me back to satan this is a celebration this is a homecoming this is a homecoming glory and that's not all we made it through a manufactured virus we made it hell brought to earth we made it to the coven we're not dead and we're still here i said we're still here somebody ought to get embraced i may have buried my son i may have buried my son i may have married my daughter i may have buried my husband i may have had to put to rest my grandmother i may have had to watch some people fall by the wayside i may have had to go through hell in high water i may have lost my home in foreclosure i mean i lost my job but i'm telling you satan you could not get to me because i'm covered by the blind somebody overrun for me hallelujah go ahead wow would stand on that rock where moses stood unto the lord if i could if i could if i could i surely would stand on that rock [Music] now one more time give the lord a victorious homecoming shout of grace you can be seated tonight [Applause] i just wanted to see how many still had fire because it's hard to sit down on a fire i just wanted to see who was burning oh glory to god i said glory to god i said glory to god hallelujah wow you can be seated for real this isn't a test this time that one wasn't a test either i just just my mind my mind goes back to the old church first of all they never did say stand and never did say you be seated they never did say lift your hands they never just say clap your hands they never just say let's all stand on this verse let's all sit on this verse that's all twirl on this verse let's wave our hands and clap our hands let's all stand up let's all sit down you didn't you couldn't have to tell him anything cause about the time back there my brother you say this for me about the time it got quiet somebody would jump up and said i feel him back here you no you got to shout it like the old church i feel it back here brother no that's not how you do it you're going to jump up with both hands up and say oh i feel it back here brother [Music] and then somebody over here would say it's over here in the corner too and about that time somebody would take off running and david carlyle wrote off he ran all the way down to damon's grocery he said the holy ghost left him and he got he said i'm thirsty lord and he said the lord let me go in and get an rc he said oh we got an rc [Music] they used to talk about us you know why they had something to say about us i said they have something to say about us but this modern apostate church they've learned how to mimic our sound they learn how to mimic our jumping even though it's programmed they've learned how to mimic our wave they learn how to make it look wild they can mimic everything but they can't mimic our power i said they can't mimic our power and there's getting ready to be a restoration a recovery and a reviving of the power of god six foot two went into work sitting in a parking lot somebody as we supposed thought he was somebody else and they murdered him they thought they were going after somebody else not a preacher's boy waiting to go to work but tonight the hey the laby taylor the pale horses rider that came walking in that parking lot galloping [Music] i only know your name brother but i know you're south georgia all i can tell you is this when the pale horse and his rider come galloping into that parking lot and that skeletal evil vile death walked over to that car there was an angel said back off not this one not this one not this one he is property sanctified dedicated for the most high god hallelujah i said hallelujah i don't know what all's happened i heard the holy ghost say sing wonder what they're doing in heaven today and i said holy ghost i can't sing that because of the grieving of this married couple and their daughter and besides we're all shouting all over that's not a song to shout on but i'm i'm well past that you don't shout over a song you flow with the holy ghost god can god can move a stronger with no song just in a manifestation of glory but i know when this the old man when the old man gets anointed and my vocal cords hit notes that i cannot hit that it's not for the old man it's for somebody out there the anointing is not for me to show talent the anointing is not for me to display how high my range is the anointing is because somebody is like a dried sponge every bit of life has been soaked out of them and all at once a little cloud out of middle of nowhere comes out the middle of nowhere comes a cloud a little shower sprinkles and while the person's singing or preaching or talking they're under such a fervent power you don't even know what's happening that anointing is sprinkling on the life of a dry thirsty soul that if they don't get a touch of heaven they're not even gonna survive but we got a touch of heaven hallelujah let's turn the book up [Applause] it's 8 23 you all sure are 8 28. my eyes are if you all can handle about 20 minutes of preaching and then after 20 minutes we'll see how much more you can handle [Applause] jeremiah 18 verses 1 through 4 the word which came to jeremiah from the lord saying arise and go down to the potter's house and there i will cause you to hear my words then i went down to the potter's house and behold he was working on the potter's wheels and the vessel that he had made of clay was marred it was going it was had trouble it was contaminated it was ruined in the hand of the potter the one laying on the ground so he took that that was marred and he made it again another vessel as seen good to the potter to make it just for a few moments tonight i'm dealing with the subject go down to the potter's house let's pray father we come to you in the name of jesus [Music] let your word go forth and love mercy truth and compassion demonstration and power the holy ghost in jesus name let the church say amen you may be seated just for a few moments tonight we're dealing with the subject go down to the potter's house our text is found in jeremiah chapter 18 verses 1 through 4. the scripture said that the word came to jeremiah we believe the bible to be the inerrant eternal infallible word of god if we didn't have the word of god to back us tonight it'd be like everybody's opinion and everybody's opinion is like your ears you got at least two of them and it'd be a mess there be people have all kinds of ideas what's happening but god has given us in his infallible inerrant eternal word what great men have said about the bible abraham lincoln our 16th u.s president born in kentucky he said i believe the bible is the book that god has ever given to man all the good from the savior of the world is communicated to us through this book martin luther king and junior in his speeches he quoted frequently psalms 30 verse 5. weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning he would quote galatians 3 and 28 if you've been baptized into christ you're neither jew nor greek bond nor free male nor female but you're all one in christ jesus andrew jackson the seventh president of the united states said the bible is the rock on which our republic rest daniel webster said if we abide by the principles taught in the bible our country will go on prospering harriet tubman the wonderful wonderful great woman who did such an incredible work among the african-american people her scripture was psalms 136 and 25 oh give thanks unto the god o give thanks for his mercy endures forever ronald reagan the 40th president of the united states says within the covers of the bible are the answers for all the problems men face of the many influences that have shaped the united states into a distinctive nation and people none may be said to have be more fundamental and enduring than the bible we need to understand that harvard university the oldest institution of higher education in the united states established in 1636 it was established by reverend john harvard with the main purpose was to educate clergy in the bible it was a bible school yale university 1638 was the dream of john reverend john davenport to form a theocracy theocracy just means a nation that is led by god and the bible princeton university 1746 was founded as the results of the great awakening that took place in america and said we must keep america in faith and in the bible the college of mary and william was founded 1693 and it was to be called the perpetual college of divinity the study of god in the bible saint john's college 1646 was founded by the episcopal church to teach people the guidance through the scriptures the university of pennsylvania 1740 was founded by benjamin franklin to make sure that people kept their their conscience in the word of god the moravian college in 1742 was the first women's seminary to learn the scriptures from the bible the university of delaware 1743 was founded by the presbyterian church and that was to keep people into the walk and the word of the bible the columbia university founded in 1754 its original purpose was to offer a two-year course in biblical studies so whenever people begin to say something like this is not a christian nation this is not a nation that has anything to do with christ it's uh all of our efforts that have gotten us here i want the truth to be known tonight that you're in blessed by god because god has blessed us through his word now we need to see what the scripture says about the word of god in psalms chapter 18 and verse 30 the bible tells us that his way is perfect the word of the lord is tried in psalms 33 and 4 says the word of the lord is right in psalms 36 and 3 by the word of the lord were the heavens made in psalms 56 and 4 says in god i will praise his word psalms 107 verse 20 says he sent his word and he healed them psalms 119 and 9 says young men will cleanse their way by the word of god when that young man's xy chromosomes are like a bunch of fireworks going off in his body want him to go up and rip up his heels and tear the world upside down the bible said education can't tame him money won't stop him there's no political party that can turn they can put him in the right direction it is only by the word of god that a young man can cleanse his ways in psalms 119 and 11 says hide your word in my heart that i might not sin against you psalms 119 and 89 says forever o lord your word is settled in heaven psalms 119 105 says the word is a lamp and on my feet and a light unto my path psalms 119 130 says the entrance of his word gives light there wouldn't be so much darkness all over the united states of america tonight if there was the word that was being preached our pulpits have been turned to entertainment center centers showcase cinemas yes i know that people like to criticize me i don't wear a tie necessarily because i like one i was born raised in the hole in this church they actually preached against them they said there was pride and so they didn't even wear them in our church until the 19 i guess it's about 1979 or something like that people started wearing them at church 1980 they didn't wear them in there they weren't wearing them so this is this isn't something that i think when i put it on oh it comes all over me and i just feel something extra and special and i can feel things nobody else can feel this isn't what makes me preach do you understand that but we've got a generation that despises the fact that i put on a tie we've got a generation that wants me to sit on a barstool and wear a pair of shorts with a pair of flip-flops put a ball cap on my head backwards and talk to them like they're kindergarten kids and look at them and say oh terry good to see you i like your brown shoes buddy and oh claudia's so good you know man man isn't it good to be in fellowship with jesus i mean isn't it just good and and uh this this apostate generation this worldly generation that has come to america they they cannot stand it because they say well the man screams he shakes and shouts and he sweats and and that makes me nervous and i don't like it but the number one station that they watch is espn and if you were watching a uk game and the game was tied and the coach was sitting over there on a bar stool with a pair of flip-flops on and his hat on backwards and he's getting the boys together and said hey mark good to see you buddy i'm telling you oh man that play you did last week and i mean the game's tied you know what they would do the people of kentucky would go in there they would tear up jack to get him out of there they would throw him out but you know what they want when the game is tied or it looks like the pressure's going on they want a coach that comes out with a suit and tie on they want that coach to come out they want him to walk like this they want him to get loud they want him to sweat they want him to get in their face they want to say you can do it you can do it you can do it you can do it and i know people get offended and i don't come here to yell i'm not a yelling person yelling makes me nervous i can't stand people get loud that's not my nature it's not my nature to be a big mouth loud person i don't like that but i will tell you this when the power of god begins to move through me and the urgency begins to move upon me there is a passion that is released this is a passion it's not my passion it's the passion of christ only once my voice gets louder i'm already loud already i know i am i'm already loud i'm about to do a shaken spell here in a minute i know it's about to come but the time it's urgent the church has been through a tan bit a pandemic that's what we're in right now every demon in hell's been laughing while the churches of the lord jesus christ have been closed every demon in hell has said i'll starve him out i'll choke him out i'm going to kill him before it's over with but i want him to know one more time we're here at homecoming it's been a year and we haven't been choked out yet we haven't been killed yet and the score is god is going to win the end of the book says that ever thee shall bow every tongue shall confess up that jesus christ is lord give him a victorious shout everybody say yeah yeah preacher's afraid to preach the word of god preacher's afraid to read out of it the largest church in the the fourth largest church in america is right in our doorstep right around where we live and you know what it says on their opening if you go to their website he says this is what the pastor says i can't expect this generation to base their life on scriptures that are 3000 years old i must bring them relevance i must bring them something that's more relevant to the times than to open up scripture well i got news for you and whatever you read that you think is relevant is not relevant because there's only one book that the bible said is quick i said quick that means the word of god is alive and the bible said the entrance of his words give light just the scriptures that i've read to you has turned the light up on the house i hear you hear me it's turned the light upon the community all those watching by the internet 35 000 last night probably 45 000 tonight that the word is going forth and the presence of god is going forth there's light going through the airwaves there's light going to the depressed there's light going to the demons [Applause] all of this stuff that's been going on the children are then the worst that have been abused they said it has skyrocketed the child abuse skyrocketed the child molestation but the workers can't go into the house the social workers can't go into the house so the children have been under the worst circumstances they've ever been they're more suicidal than they've ever been their nerves are bothering them like they've never bothered them before and satan says oh boy i think i got it no you don't have it because your day is coming to a close this has been a battle this has been something we've had to go through but when i get done with this message tonight you're going to realize that there may have been some mar in the potter's hands there may have been some trouble in the potter's hands there may have been some worldliness in the potter's hand there may have been some backbiting in the potter's hand there may have been some things in the potter's hand that should have never been there but i hear the word of god say go back go back go back to the potter because god's getting ready to do a transformation give him a shout out psalms 130 verse 5 said in his word do i hope anticipate and expect psalms 138 and verse 2 for you've magnified your word above your name his name's jehovah jireh my provider his name's jehovah nesi he is my banner his name is jehovah shalom he is my peace his name is jehovah sharma he is the ever-present god his name is jehovah jireh he is my provider his name is jehovah rapha he is my healer he heals me spirit soul and body his name is jehovah jesus and the righteous run into his name and they are saved but the bible says it like this as great as his name is as powerful as his name is he has magnified his word above his name and what you what are you saying god he's saying if my word don't mean anything then quit trying to use my name if you've got dust on my bible then why are you coming into the house of god trying to cast the devil out in the name of jesus if you don't have enough time to pick up a scripture somebody said oh you're getting awful rough on us though not yet rough is coming later i'm here to tell you this tonight that you can't treat the bible like some fairy tale you can't set it on the corner somewhere and expect to come in this house and lay hands on the sick in the name if the word don't mean anything the name won't do what needs to be done but if you put the word up where the word ought to be the name is gonna do what the name said it would do in my name they'll speak with new tongues in my name [Applause] we have small groups we have about 80 of them oh lord nothing any help on this one glory and i told them i said you have all small groups you want to have i think they're wonderful all small groups is do is it takes you back to the old church when it's small so you can learn people's names and i said you better put jesus right smack dab in the middle of it and you better put the bible right smack dab in the middle of it we got a beautiful gymnasium a very expensive floor it's maple wood turned sideways anybody knows anything about wood it's the hardest floor you ever seen your maple wood turned sideways it's an nba floor it bounces we had a very wealthy person to help us get that floor thank you jesus oh so we we have a lot of young men and right now because the school you know and xavier university won't let their big boys play so everybody's coming the big boys are coming from xavier all of all the people that's going to one day be nba players yeah they're all coming but when i come and i see them there spiritually domestically socially every area of their life and as they travel this journey on this earth let them one day come to the supernatural experience that jesus is the christ the son of the living god i said let the holy ghost come to him and i love it because you know all my black brothers they got a lot more respect than the white boys and the black brothers will say thank you preacher thank you pastor thank you pastor they'll shake my hand and hug me say thank you for the prayer keep me in your prayers keep me in your prayers what am i telling you the church is born for more than just a bunch of little clubs hanging around it's more than just sitting in a group and everybody playing a little game of some kind he said the entrance of his word brings light i don't care if you women get together and crochet but my lord of god almighty put you on a preaching tape while you're crocheting shut up your gossip quit talking about the preacher get off of facebook we're tearing down the old church of zion do you hear me we got to fight the devil every day why should we have to fight you and your big mouth on facebook god wants us to rise in power and anointing and in them it's like i've seen the power of god move on i've been to youth camps sleeping on those crazy old bunks taking showers where you look at your feet and say god i have mercy jehovah rapha you are they got to go down the road because you hit that beer bottle too hard and their boyfriend likes to drink or their husband likes to drink he said you know let's just go somewhere else you know i heard they got some real good worship over here down the road and they don't have all that other stuff that he does and it's not long you've seen them shout at you camp you've seen the power of god come on you've seen the glory of god come on you've seen them in revivals but now they're going down there where there's no going to be speaking in tongues they're nobody going to be giving out a prophecy nobody's going to be falling on the floor there's not going to be any of that going on and then they get on facebook they say i've only been here for two days i've already learned more in the last two days about god than i did the whole time i was at my other church everybody knows because they got 60 relatives in the other church everybody knows what the other church is and who the other preacher is i'm telling you uh you know you're going to do what you're going to do but please don't get so cold in god if you're going to fight something fight the devil or join the politics if you want to fight something get in a big political argument but leave god's people alone and let us praise him let us magnify him [Applause] [Music] ecclesiastes 84 where the word of the king is there's power matthew mark and luke said the word is the seed john chapter 1 said the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld him as the only begotten of the father john 17 and 17 says the word is truth acts said the word increased it grew it multiplied and it prevailed that's the action of the church romans said that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of god ephesians says take on the sword of the spirit which is the word of god colossians said let the word of god dwell in you richly that you may admonish one another in psalms hymns and spiritual songs and that's what used to happen in the old days they called it the leading of the spirit now you want to go back the old old old days when i was raised the preacher he'd get up and he'd say let's all find a place to pray if god don't and this is what they did in michigan chicago indianapolis everywhere the holiness people came out of the appalachian mountains their church was exactly the same let's all find a place to pray because if god don't move nothing's going to happen in this service and they don't get down to pray but that word was in him they'd been reading that word they'd been praying that word they'd been seeking that word and then you know what happened let the word of god dwell in you richly richly not poorly richly that you may admonish one another in psalms hymns and spiritual songs i like some of these you know some of these new songs i like and some of them make me nervous because it's the same thing over and over over and over and over i know what they mean when they say this is how and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and when i had the coven i turned on i turned on the internet and those songs come on i said god there's something wrong with me when you're sick you can't take it it drives you nuts i was sitting there and i realized people watching by the internet are absolutely sick and tired of all that stuff that has no power in it and might not mean much to other people but when you see him galloping on that white horse and his fish investors dipped in that calvary's blood that dried blood all over that garment hallelujah you're going to say oh you don't know what that blood means to me but that blood took me through a funeral home that blood took me through 1500 people passing by my 18 year old boy's coffin that blood took daughter and 50 students came well then i asked my wife i said who in the world who in the world how in the world does anybody know i'm having a birthday party out in the country it was out in the country how worlds anybody know that i'm having a birthday party out in the country my wife she's big in what's going on right yes i'm not saying anymore she said they have hired snitches yeah snitches have been high to snitch i want to announce to the stitches tonight and i'm not talking about democrats and republicans church i'm talking about the snitches from hell i want to announce tonight i ain't afraid of nothing causing i believe i've got it in the name of jesus lord keep everybody safe i pray to god that nobody does get corona like i did but if you do stay out of the hospital drink all the water you can drink get up and walk all you can walk if you got a christian doctor he'll he'll get you some hydroxychloroquine and if your doctor don't believe in that because anyway let's go on with something else if he don't want you to take it then up your vitamin c up your vitamin d go out and sit in a chair and get you at least 20 minutes of sunshine every day in the night i got a call tuesday from an official here in the county amen we just went on head church anyhow we had a visit to tonight i won't tell you any more about that but uh we're just investigating what's going on there but somebody amen is calling somebody's calling turning us in but praise god we're going to have church go back to virginia how church go back to alabama house church amen go back to georgia have church thank you lord all right smile at somebody admit tell them you love them brother tommy has cds back there audio cds i've got some cds if you go out and turn to the right um so stop it's a cd tables and uh you got any more brother tommy's all his cds are five dollars if you buy three you get the fourth and free that's a good deal that's it if you don't have any money you can have one same with me if you don't have any money you can have one i don't know how much mine are whatever they put on them back there but get you some music and be blessed amen we're going to do this again next year like dad said go back and have church the church has been silenced long enough it's time to let the church of the living god roll on god's plan us some going out music there you
