again and you know that's the kind of god that i serve oh that's the kind of god that i serve you know he's there when you need him you can stand upon well yes that's oh that's the kind of god that i you're here we're going to receive an offering tonight this offering is going to go to our church this is our regular church offering tonight so if you'd like to give to a part of that tonight this giving us another opportunity to come and gather in this house of worship and i pray now holy spirit of god that you would move among us god that your spirit would come and rest upon us and lord let angeles california they say that they're going back to mask required in the building but i'm pleading the blood of jesus i wish i had a church who would believe in here tonight i bind that devil in sickness come on and i believe god's going to take care of his people and if i were to be real with you i just believe god's allowing it to happen because he's tired of the nonsense that's going on in america and i believe there's a great awakening that's going to happen and we may not be azusa street but we're airways boulevard and honey we're going to have a meeting around here this week and we're going to pray the holy ghost of god comes down and meets with us i wish i had somebody that would agree with me in this house let the holy ghost come let the fire fall from heaven let us have another old-fashioned holy ghost count meeting in this house hallelujah [Applause] you may be seated i didn't come to preach but if the preacher can't preach i will amen hallelujah we're so honored tonight to have pastor tommy bates he was supposed to be with us last year and because of covet things just didn't work out and i said listen we're in the process of building our new sanctuary we've only been in here since the end of september and i said when we get it finished and completed i'm going to call you and i want you to come and he said i'd love to come and be a part and so tonight it is a thrill to have him how many of you watch him on day star television network to raise your hand if you watch them look at that absolutely amazing uh probably 75 in the house watch you every week on day stars so you are blessed you already know what a great man of god he is pastors a wonderful church in independence kentucky just south there of cincinnati and so tonight it is our great honor [Music] praise the lord you can be seated it's good to be here in savannah tennessee it's the first time i've been here and good to be with all of you folks and good to be with such an energetic full of enthusiasm visionary pastor that that has enough vision to host a meeting like this praise god you know the singing is so good that i'm i hope i'm not a let down when i get up here it might not be as polished but it might i hope the goodness it has the power of god in it also praise god that makes a difference but we give god thanks for all that he has done what he is doing and we give honor to the lord jesus christ give honor to your pastor tonight and appreciate you being here on a hot july in tennessee all right i'm gonna go the piano i've got ethan traveling me he's one of the young men in the church and all of my family are at lake cumberland i don't know if you know where lake cumberland is but we have a summer place down there and uh all of my 12 grandchildren my three children my sisters and their kids so we we've we've all on vacation i said well here's the only thing i can do i'll just i'll leave i'll drive from lake cumberland i thought it was about three hours it wasn't it was longer so we're thankful for the accommodations that we have i ate at the fish hunt or fish place or fish something and he said where he the pastor said we're the catfish capital i said i know i already ate it hallelujah i've already had it already doused down my catfish and glory to god praising god for this opportunity now how many of you watch us on daystar because that's that's an overwhelming amount because uh we've really are in between how many of you watch us also online about the same amount how many of you this i'm just need to know this information uh sorry you all watching on facebook just give me a little time here how many of you only watch us on daystar that's the only connection you have okay well here's the dilemma that i'm in 93 when i was on the church channel how many ever remember the church channel yeah i mean it's still on there but when i was on tbn and on the church i had lots of partners and we were all over the united states and there's still people don't even know i'm on christian television anymore when i went off the church channel uh you know matt and lori decided to go a different direction and i wasn't on that direction me and me and 40 other preachers we weren't on that uh uh that assignment so uh i the lord worked it out we went straight to day star but 93 of our partnership comes from the internet not daystar and so it's very difficult because right now my partners are wanting me to build a new sanctuary our sanctuary only holds right out a thousand and we have four services on sunday 9 10 45 12 30 and six o'clock and if i have to we'll do five you know you got to do what you got to do god god never said fill up your building who ever heard of that kind of message he said when the lost there's no limit there's no limit to getting people saved and when a church gets full fat and sassy they're hard to deal with i've got chickens i got hens in the hen house there's nothing any more mean than an old hen you let those new pulitz come in and you'll know who's boss in that hen house now if you don't know what i'm talking about but we want to we always have to keep people focused on the whole purpose while we're here we are here to win the gospel to win the lost and to share with them the incredible awesome wonderful gospel of the lord jesus christ hallelujah but i have ethan with me ethan is not my uh he's not my grandson but he's he's with our family all the time he's he sort of likes one of my granddaughters so let's just leave it at that okay so he was totally thrilled when i needed somebody to drive my truck down i said ethan drive my truck down you go with me to savannah because i'd like to have a driver too and i'm glad i did because i sat in the back editing i had to go through i was editing a lot of preaching material so it can go on days our network i know you've been seeing a lot of reruns and the purpose of that was we the kova just messed everything up it just messed everything up as far as you know the quality that we needed to send out for the people around the world on day star network in the united states alone there's a hundred thousand that watch us just the united states every week but around the world there's one million and that's all over the world so we're thankful for that it's a great opportunity we thank god for the opportunity well like i said the partners they all want me to build so they're sending say he said well i sold a piece of property i want to send in 3 000. i sold this i'm saying oh lord you know these these partners are really helping me i think i have the best partners in all the world and i know tbn would like to have them but they they don't have them hallelujah so i thank god for that i'm going to go to the piano and hopefully not hopefully i know the lord's never let me down we'll sing until i finish singing and i know when i'm finished when the lord lifts and if he don't lift high enough i have to quit singing if i get anointed just saying i can't hardly find the off button and then i just have to quit singing some people don't know the difference but i i know the difference so praise the lord i know the preachers already had you turn around say something to somebody and shake hands so i'm not even going to do all that so just say a few hallelujah until i get to the piano see and i certainly didn't know the preacher could play and sing like he does i knew his wife could sing because i saw her [Music] oh if you have trouble [Music] everything's gone wrong don't give up [Music] it won't last very long [Music] don't ever doubt jesus just remember he came [Music] you'll be there when all hope is gone although sometimes wait so long but he knows for you and me remember he came [Music] he'll be there [Applause] [Music] [Music] sometimes it's so hard [Music] sometimes there's so much is a reason it's not all holy days [Music] oh [Music] when all hope is gone [Music] knows he came right on he will be there i said hold on till he answers hold right on he will be there [Music] give me praise hallelujah [Music] oh [Music] you're up on the mountain you've got peace things change and you're down in the valley don't lose [Music] is [Music] is [Music] when we're way up high on the mountain [Music] but talk is temptation that's when my faith is [Music] is [Music] is [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Applause] [Music] god in the is [Music] he's the god [Music] hallelujah just find out when to put them in there there was a whole family got saved in our church and uh mother father and the boy was 18 or he was 17 at the time and in the month of may that was in january in the month of may his buddy came and said i just got a new car for graduation let's go take a ride so one mile and a half from their home they were hit on by a reckless driver and matthew who was about six two wore size 12 shoes 18 years old two weeks before graduation i remember walking over there in children's hospital in cincinnati there he was the thrust of the accident just hit him on the back of the head from his face and everything else he just looked like he was laying there asleep it devastated devastated the school there in kentucky at the northern part there over on florence area but the young people said you know just give us our diplomas we don't want to walk down the aisle because matt was an athlete his very charismatic personality kind of kid when he walked in the room everybody's head turned you know just one of those very outgoing young men they called in the school counselors and called in the the advisors the school counselors and the school psychologist [Music] trying to reason with these young people and finally after a while the principal went to the superintendent of kenton county schools and said can we have a memorial service the superintendent said you can have a memorial service but this is a public school you have to obey the rules you can talk about god and you can talk about but you heaven refer to jesus because he's only one way and you can't refer to the bible because the bible is a closed book to other religions they called a catholic priest a baptist pastor and myself to do this memorial service and it's 11 o'clock during the day over 700 students came but the night or two before i'd contacted the principal and i said can i sing a song and she said that'd be wonderful i said what are the restrictions she said there's no restrictions to lyrics sometimes if you can't preach it [Music] sometimes when you can't dramatize it you can't even say it in sign language you can't put it in a track it seems like there's no possible way to communicate this great wonderful blessing of jesus god will give you an opportunity to sing it on that tuesday morning with 700 students who came voluntarily out of the i think the 1800 that go there or 1200 to go there they put a microphone on one of those school pianos and a microphone from my voice the catholic priest got up and said words about god in heaven the baptist pastor said wonderful words also about god in heaven but before it was my turn to talk about god in heaven this is the song i sang [Music] there's somebody out there hurt and confused [Music] [Applause] [Music] whose heart is breaking into there's somebody out there feeling alone [Music] shattered from a broken home [Music] but i know somebody out there [Music] he'll carry the birds [Music] when you don't have a prayer there's somebody out there somebody out there thought it was cool to keep taking chances thinking they'd never lose now they're hooked on a feeling it's left them empty and [Music] there's somebody out there who can't quite decide no whether to live whether to die they're searching for strength to make it through their crisis [Music] [Music] [Music] there's somebody out there [Music] since there weren't any restrictions to the words i threw my head back and this is what [Music] oh jesus is his name he's that someone out there [Music] you can call on him at the midnight hour he'll deliver by [Music] i tried him and i knew he's true no limit to what my god can't do jesus when you don't have the prayers when you don't know who to turn to [Music] go to jesus call call call on jesus when you don't have a prayer there's somebody out there [Music] hallelujah hallelujah [Music] and sorrow he's my comfort in trouble here he tells me care on him [Music] is to my soul [Music] he said he never leave me forsake me [Music] while i live by faith [Music] [Applause] [Music] there's nothing to fear [Music] so shellfield the wall this world forsake me and satan may tempt me so through jesus i will save me my goal [Music] cause he's my living [Music] is [Music] hallelujah thank you jesus my mother's my daddy's family came out of mckenzie tennessee and some of you probably know where that is they were from the cotton fields in mckinsey they were southern fried chicken baptists fried southern fried chicken babies they were they were died in a wool baptist my grandpa got saved at a good low baptist church and baptized in the creek there and my dad remembers going there with the horse and buggies and tying all the horses and buggies around the church house and he remembers one time the preacher got so anointed down here at the old good low baptist church up around mackenzie the preacher got so anointed in the southern baptist church he was he was going and couldn't stop he goes and the lord oh the lord and they had they carried him out the door and he was going he'll come to you oh yeah and dad said they set him by a tree and he was going oh oh and they took a bucket of water and she wanted he went oh [Music] but mom's family were dying in the wool holiness from the appalachian mountains so if it wasn't for daddy daddy when he got saved he got saved in our church was in a barn up in northern kentucky he was actually born in northern kentucky but all of his relatives they traveled back forth to cincinnati for work and dan said that mom's people were holiness they didn't they didn't believe in they didn't believe in anything they didn't believe anything at all television was one of their number one targets and dad said he wasn't going to give up andy griffith for anybody so we dad left for work at eight about quarter to eight on in the morning so our church i mean our house was holiness from quarter of eight to five mom wouldn't allow the television on but when dad got there so i got to see andy griffith and you know praise god but this is songs from my mom's side the family the holiness people of appalachia never been to heaven but i've been told [Music] streets of the city are made of gold and that land won't be no pain i wonder [Music] wonder what they're doing in heaven today sin and sorrow all the [Music] they say [Music] one of these days and you won't be long we'll be up in heaven all around on stone i see the lord is standing there [Music] she's up in [Music] and i wonder [Applause] i wonder i wonder what they're doing wonder what they're doing in heaven today [Music] he slows like a river they [Laughter] i say oh i wonder morningstar [Applause] since you over since you are sick and me on i'm gonna do this real quick and if you're if your legs are tired just go ahead and be seated because we're going to just read the scripture but before we do we're going to this one here old sister shell if i can find it well maybe it's not the lord's will maybe i just can't find it she took in handwriting and wrote this old old old song from aunt mally carpenter i pastor church where up in the amen corner a large percentage of those old-fashioned sisters when we used to have amen corners and holiness people in appalachia on the platform it was the women on this side and when we built our new sanctuary we didn't know any different we just built it the way we knew to build it that was in 1978 and 79. so the church would seat 1100 and something and it was the only church with appalachian culture that big we had the goodmans the hensons all kinds of people stopped by but in that amen corner there was whole probably 10 or 15 that had received the holy ghost before 1909. now aunt molly never set up there but she would come and visit because she went to her nephew's church but the course of this goes this is what the they were responsive songs and the course goes there's no man can love you like jesus glory hallelujah no man can love you like jesus glory hallelujah no man can love you like jesus glory hallelujah no man can love you like jesus glory hallelujah on the well the lord said let me say on the well the lord sat down his disciples went and left him a woman from samaria town a drink he did request her have no dealings but no man i love you like jesus glory hallelujah no man can love you like jesus glory how one more verse now see the woman at the well disputing with her savior soon she found that he could tell all about her past behavior no man love you like jesus glory hallelujah no man can love you like jesus glory hallelujah sing the last verse the thief had only time to drink and tell his [Music] every one of those parts all those parts are on there when you get that good mountain harmony it's every note except for the wrong ones all right isaiah chapter 60. well you learned a song that was sung by the holiness people that received the holy ghost our oldest church we have in appalachia that i know of it's evan's chapel it was built in 1904 this was all before azusa street my great great grandmother received the baptism the holy ghost she was a methodist the belle of tennessee she was miss tennessee she's a beauty queen and she moved from tazewell tennessee through the cumberland gap up into owsley county kentucky clay county kentucky tazel there's people here that sparked a spark right there 1906 picking peas in the pea patch her husband was the sheriff powell markham he was the sheriff she was just picking peas with her straight back the power god hit her she lost her they said she lost her english there was no such thing as a pentecostal the first church of god a second church of god a united pentecostal divided pentecostal there wasn't any of that and they threw well they threw creek water on her to revive her they thought she had some type of a neurological disorder and then they took her to the house and got cold well water and started putting on her face and at the end of the day she came out of this wonderful and they said mommy what happened to you she said oh i got a blessing her son was the school master he taught school in clay county kentucky he said mommy i want that blessing too he was baptized in the holy ghost he taught 60 students in the one-room classroom and at night he preached the blessing glory to god hallelujah i'm just glad for the blessing isaiah chapter 60 verses one through three arise shine for thy light is come and the glory of the lord is risen upon thee for behold the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness is coming on the people but the lord shall arise upon you and his glory shall be seen upon you and the gentiles the nations of the world are going to see this light even people of high positions like kings and presidents are going to see the brightness of your rising hallelujah let's preach a few moments on the darkness the darkness shall cover the earth let's pray father we come to you in the name of jesus i ask you lord to let your word go forth with love with mercy and compassion and most of all god let me preach as your bible teaches me with demonstration and power of the holy ghost we'll give you all of the praise and all of the glory in the mighty wonderful name of jesus let the church say amen you may be seated just for a few moments tonight we're dealing with the subject the darkness shall cover the earth it shouldn't be a surprise shouldn't be a surprise i know we had a we had a doctrine come through here in the late 70s mid 80s of uh the kingdom now earl park paul was one of the ringleaders of it and he built a 80 million dollar church in georgia that ended up in foreclosure after some things and i'm not here to stir up stink i'm just telling you the doctrine came in but it wasn't a new doctrine it was the old doctrine of the roman empire the doctrine was the post-millennial reign believing that the church there would not be a rapture that the church was the body of christ on earth we were going to purge the earth from all of its sin we were going to conquer the earth and tbn got a hold of this and they loved it you know anybody this world is their home they love this doctor if you're lot's wife you're not going to like this message you're you're already a pillar of salt you just don't you just don't know it you won't you won't like it because the church came out of that upper room and they said maranatha the lords are coming maranatha the lords are coming they knew what john had given him on the revelation on the isle of patmos when john said there'd be a millennial reign with jesus christ that his bloody foot was going to touch the mount of olives it was going to cleave to the right and to the left that satan was going to be bound for a thousand years they knew what the word said that was no secret so their common language was maranatha the lords are coming the lord's coming the lord's coming the lord's come it's what maranatha means the lord is coming he is coming but somewhere along about after the roman empire fell in 467 a.d and after the church had become glorified and all of the things that had happened pope boniface iii became the universal the universal pope of the church that was the word catholic just simply means universal it's not a scary name it just means universal pope boniface iii he became the universal bishop he became the vicar of christ on earth he became christ on earth so with that doctrine they said now wait a minute we are christ on earth the pope is the vicar he's christ on earth he's the one that's controlling things and since he is here then we are going to conquer the earth so they set out to conquer and then the born-again experience believing on the lord jesus christ as your personal savior was changed to baptized into the church as an infant water baptism was done away with for adult conversion all of these things were done away with when the doctrine changed that we are going to bring peace on earth that we're going to establish a kingdom and they really believed it as a matter of fact when the reformation took place in 1517 when a roman catholic monk nailed his 95 thesis on the door of wittenberg germany he said wait a minute there's something wrong the church is this is not lining up with the bible i'm i'm i give my life to study in the bible and it's just not lining up and here's some things that aren't lining up he said indulgences you can't buy people out of sin and going taking these pilgrimages and going to the church of the nativity and going to the church of the holy sepulcher and all of that is not going to take away your sins he wrote 95 arguments against the roman catholic church and it was the time of reforming it was the time of reforming the church but he never touched the doctrine of post-millennial reign this doctrine continued through the waldenses and the albigenses who were also people who gave themselves to the word of god god's always had a people they were murdered for it it also continued through the amish and the mennonites and the moravians it also continued through the anabaptists it continued through through the wesleyan movement it continued through every movement all the way till you get to 1880. and d.l moody said there's something wrong we've all been preaching and teaching this uh post-millennial doctrine and that was not the doctrine of the church that came out of the upper room we thought we got a little more intelligence than they had and more spiritual inside and nobody believed that israel was ever going to be a nation again so with the doctrine of post-millennial came the doctrine of replacement theology this is still prevalent brothers and sisters these modern hoopla churches that are rising up everywhere this aft this apostate spirit you find out how connected they are to israel they don't mention it so when it comes time and i'm not here to be a republican or a democrat because i'm born again but i will tell you this god is insulted whenever his people believe that an election is going to determine whether he moves or not that's nowhere in the bible there are people that said if this president gets in then we're going to have revival if this president gets in we're going into the great tribulation there's not a president nor a king nor anyone that can control the sovereignty of god god said in the last days i'm going to pour out my spirit upon all flesh i give honor to the president in the previous uh uh previous term that we had because he favored evangelicals he liked us he loved us he was good to us and he loved israel he was good to israel and i will say that no matter what anybody has to say i'm not stating anything but with this doctrine of post-millennial you find those that back off with any type of israel they say that's political we stay out of that because no one in 1880 believed that this this this place in the middle east that this place that was infested with swamps and mosquitoes where the turkish army came in the ottoman turks and they took out all of the trees all an erosion had taken place israel was nothing but a wasteland so when the rich multi-billionaire rothschild came to the arabs and began to buy this middle eastern territory they laughed at him who wants this place it's nothing but a piece of junk so no matter what you read and what you hear politically 80 percent of the country of israel was legally bought by a jewish man called rothschild all of this started happening about the same time in the late 1800s d.l moody called a summit together he said something's wrong he said this has been one nation under god we believed that the united states was going to bring peace on earth for a thousand years our forefathers believe that this incredible awesome nation of the bible with no restrictions to the king of kings in the lord of lords with no restrictions to his commandment is going to turn the world into a millennial reign but d.l said look at us we've had a civil war the north has fought against the south the blood of our young men are laying all over the soil we've brought everything but but peace he said we must go back and find out what the bible says so there was a shift in 1880 this shift brought about songs that had never been sung before in the christian movement i am watching for the coming of the glad millennial day when the blessed lord shall come and take his waiting bride away oh my heart is filled with rapture as i labor watch and pray for our lord is coming back to earth again then all sin and sorrow pain and death of this dark world will cease in a glorious reign with jesus of a thousand years of peace all the earth is groaning crying for that great that day of sweet release for our lord is coming back to earth again as that doctrine begin to enter once again into this christian family then it opened up the door for the prophetic word of joel he said in the last days i will pour out my spirit upon all flesh your sons and your daughters will prophesy your men in authority will dream a dream your young men will burn with fire with a vision out of my spirit i'm going to pour on the women and they're going to open their mouth and you're going to hear women preachers all over and you're not going to stop them you're not going to stop them a man has 10 000 words a day but a woman has 40 000 words a day you are not going to stop this outpouring of the spirit but the bible says in thessalonians even though the outpouring of the spirit is coming even though there's going to be a former rain which was on the day of pentecost in a latter rain which is coming or even we're in right now this latter rain he said even when that comes that there's going to be a time when the man of sin must be revealed there's going to be a great falling away he's not talking about it emptying out of the church he's talking about the spirit of no restraint it's going to come upon the earth there's going to be darkness that is going to come the earth so as we see these things in this outpouring the early and the latter rain coming together well i am believing and i've been preaching for years that there will be an apostolic renewal meaning this what the apostle saw is going to happen again there's going to be a day of pentecost renewal there is going to be a pentecostal refreshing there is going to be with exactly everything you saw in the book of acts is going to happen again angelic visitations signs and wonders there's going to be miracles that cast the signs are going to follow them that believe in my name they'll cast out devils in my name they'll speak with a new tongue in my name they lay hands on the sick and they shall recover in my name they shall they shall uh take up serpents they'll walk on scorpions and serpents and all manners of evil and nothing by any means shall harm them in my name if they drink any deadly thing and the bible said the deadliest thing on earth is the tongue and people may talk about you and they they say things about you but you'll just drink it and go right on it's not going to faze you anything they say about you it's not going to affect you so isaiah looked into the future and he said darkness i see darkness darkness is the absence of light the bible said the entrance of his word brings light his word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path in 1963 god in the bible was expelled from this incredible awesome nation that was given and risen up and they believed that we were actually going to bring in the millennial reign and in the 1980s they believed that the charismatic movement was going to conquer america they were totally terrified at all of these people that were in these huge auditoriums and in all of these places lifting up their hands and singing the praises of god but as the scripture teaches us he said but of the times and the seasons brethren you have no need that a right unto you you're going to know perfectly well that the day of the lord is at hand it's going to be just as obvious as snow in the winter just as obvious as tomatoes on your vines in the summer just as obvious as the leaves turn in color in the fall just as obvious as flowers coming up in the spring he said that that's how obvious that the signs are coming but in 1963 god and the bible were expelled from this great nation that contains 80 percent of the world's wealth that's why they that's why they care who your president is that's why they care what's going on in this country you hold the wealth of the world in your hands because the jews live in your country and the jews have the purse strings of the world right now that's why the covenant that the antichrist is going to sign is going to be in jerusalem it won't be in london england it won't be in washington dc it won't be in paris france it won't be in tokyo it will be only in jerusalem as daniel and as the prophets of old said it would be but with god expelled from the minds of america and the light being taken out when i was in school every day opened up the the pa system would come on and they'd say let's all stand for the reading of the word and prayer there would be a reading of the book of psalms a sixth grader would read it there would be prayer then there would be the pledge allegiance of the flag and then they said let school begin that's how america was that's how it was founded but now in 1964 there was three major things that happened that i see in the prophetic the first thing was the number one family program in the united states was a little funny little sitcom called bewitched it was very innocent but it was the first time that something had had come against the scripture when the bible plainly speaks out boldly against sorcery and against witchcraft up and against but they put it in a family forum and they put it in the finds of the family and i'm going to tell you i watched it myself when it was baptist hallelujah when it was time for when it was time for our time to watch television i watched it it was a funny little thing and nobody thought anything of it because it was so disguised it was darkness that was disguised the next thing that happened in 1964 was america on the ed sullivan show welcomed a new group and this group was called the beatles and all they wanted to do was i want to hold your hand i want to hold your hand that's all they wanted to do and they said she loves me yeah yeah yeah and no one was offended by those songs those are very innocent and simple little love songs in 1964 all at once they began construction on an irrigation canal that was to go to the gaza strip but they couldn't get to the gaza strip because that was territory that had not been given back to the nation of israel but things changed in 1967 in 1967 there was a six-day war and the irrigation canal opened up and allowed the water to flow through the gaza strip which brought isaiah chapter 35 and 1 to pass that the deserts shall blossom like a rose that had not happened yet in the country of israel now israel's flourishing green i've been going every year nearly every year since 1972 since i was a teenager it's flourishing green in 1967 the beatles no longer were singing innocent love songs but they were singing judy and judy in the skies or or or they were singing lucy in this or lucille i don't know what it was but it meant lsd they were singing we all live in a yellow submarine and a yellow submarine was a capsule that would cause you to hallucinate they were singing songs of hey jude when i feel you moving under my skin it was about heroin in 1967 it was no longer the innocency of bewitched it was no longer asmrelda it was no longer ant all of those ants that were on that program it was no longer that but now the first demonic movie had been produced by hollywood it was called rosemary's baby it was called rosemary's baby and the thing and what this movie was about was a woman who conceived by satan it brought in witchcraft it brought in demonic forces it brought in the powers of darkness and darkness continued by the time you get to 1969 young people are stripped down naked they're in a place called woodstock and they're chanting the f word over and over and over but now it is so sad to say but there are family fathers that use the f word as if it's just another dirty word this is a word that was produced out of pornography it is a word that is presently associated with pornography any time old man is choking a woman in some perverted act of sadomasochism he is chanting over and over the f word the f word the f word but darkness has become it seems to be the relevance it seems to be just everywhere and the bible said it's going to continue and it's going to escalate by the time you get to 1973 there was another movie the the movie of cast this girl that was demon possessed the exorcist and with this movie there was multiplied hundreds of thousands of teenagers that walked out of a cinema and they got more than a movie they became demon possessed because in every pentecostal youth camp even in the baptist youth camps even in every meeting the manifestations of demons were everywhere as for the first time in this country young people were exposed to demonic powers that would overtake them but when they came to the house of god and that demon would manifest god would give the victory and satan was made out to be a helpless wimp he was made out to be a nothing he has changed his strategy he doesn't want to be made weak he's changed his strategy with open uh one-on-one confrontation so we don't see the demonic activity in one-on-one confrontation like we used to but that doesn't mean he quit working he's continued to work now our country has gone into a slumber and sleep the bible said while men slept the enemy sowed in tares nobody thought much of it at least the american people as a whole when we changed and redefined marriage and we'd redefined the family and said it's no longer man and woman but it's two people whoever they may be and then we begin to bring in that this is established that it's not just a man and a woman anymore it's whosoever wants to come together they produce a unit that is called a family and the darkness continues now our little children are so confused there's only two male and female you're either xx that's a female or your x y that's a male you can tuck it you can fluff it you can cut it you can remove it you can take hormones but let me tell you hold on yeah glory you hear me you can put you a wallet in your back pocket you can put on a pair of suspenders you can take hormone pills and grow yourself a beard you can spit back or juice all over the place but if you get burned in a fire and they pull your hair out they're gonna say this wasn't a male they're gonna say this was xx your body will testify against you your chromosomes will testify against you but now we're called the people of hate and pretty soon brothers and sisters what i'm saying right now will possibly be forbidden in the united states of america i cannot preach this in england i cannot preach this in norway i cannot preach this in canada i know when i get there they're my limitations and somebody said what will you do you just don't preach it because i still want people to get saved because when you really get saved you really get changed and you really get a new way of living and you really get a new life but we have come to this place of darkness and it's going to get darker i said it's going to get darker i don't think it's going to get brighter earl park is gone his movement is still here but he's gone it didn't last his 80 million dollar church it got taken away jan's gone she went with him she went with that same doctrine everybody wanted it they wanted the doctrine they wanted that we're going to take over the world and the presidents are all going to speak in tongues i'd like to know who talking in tongues now hallelujah i like to see who's talking in tongues and somebody said oh the white house the oval office they need god all the schoolhouse needs god well the white house doesn't have the keys to the kingdom and neither does the schoolhouse and we can't blame the white house for the lethargic laziness sleepiness that the church has come into it's not the white house it's not the schoolhouse the house of god has been turned into an entertainment center and a showcase cinema and it's turned into a place that the jesus called it himself he said it's nothing but a den of thieves it to take your money and build the kingdom and never had angelic visitations but a true church is what jacob saw when he was out in the middle of the desert and he was laying on a stone for a pillow and he saw a ladder that was reaching from heaven to earth and he said this must be the house of god anytime that heaven touches earth it's the house of god it's not a chandelier it is not a padded pew it is not a pipe organ it's not a stained glass it is wherever that ladder is and i'm glad tonight that i'm in savannah tennessee and right smack dab in the middle of this house there's a ladder that reaches from earth to glory that whosoever will let him come to this fountain of life oh hear me tonight it's where my weakness touches his strength it's where my sorrow touches his joy it's where my sickness touches his healing it's where my poverty touches his riches it's where what i can't do touches what he can do there's a ladder in the house i said there's a ladder in the house revival in his briefcase that's not going to happen if you've got jesus in you you have revival in you if you've got god living in you you've got a ladder in you you can't sit around and wait for somebody's 800 number and some prayer partner to come on there and to say uh yes gonna take your name your address and um and how much did you give last month and then get your prayer request and then you wait for that to happen while you're sitting there so intimidated i can't get anything i can't do anything what kind of church is that what kind of experience is that jesus said all power's been given unto me and i give it unto you all power's been given unto me and i give it to you you're sitting right here you got a ladder inside of you i don't care if it's three o'clock in the morning and your little baby or grandbaby's got a fever and it seems like you're out in the middle of nowhere all you got to do is say king jesus [Applause] appalachian song i know you hear me when i pray looking 16 brothers and sisters his older sister was born when my great-great-grandmother got the baptism of the holy ghost and helen she was a prophetess she only went to the third grade poor appalachian yeah but today in the american church most american people are so intimidated they got to have some supernatural somebody they got to have somebody they'll wait in line for somebody to blow on them spit on them throw money on them throw water on them they'll wait in line for some places i've been they waited in line for two hours to get somebody's blessing i saw one woman preaching she goes oh this anointing she's not preaching anymore hold this anointing that's on me this is only about 10 years ago she said this anointing on me is so great and if you want it you're going to have to oh the whole spirit just said a thousand dollar seed if you'll sow this thousand dollar seed and walk across this platform you're going to get the same anointing that's on me now that's for sure you're going to get the same anointing and all at once there was i was in the meeting i'm telling you there were over 300 and something people i counted every one of them they wrote those checks out there was probably five thousand there and they were walking up there about to stagger they was wanting to get her anointing wanting to get her touch of god you know why because for the last several decades the preaching from the pulpit has paralyzed the pew they made you a bunch of baby birds they babied you and babied you god will give you a baby he'll give a baby plenty of milk he said does a baby in christ desire you the milk of the word but when the baby is six foot two got a mustache down to its belly and got two big old feet hanging out and still sitting in a high chair and wanting somebody to say i need to be fed i need to be fed when are you ever going to start taking care of somebody else it's about time and so for decades that's all you had oh i got to go somewhere else i'm just not getting fed i'm not getting fed in the appalachian mountains you know what i'm not getting fed means it means i like this type of music they won't sing it i like this type of preaching they won't preach it i like this style of this and they don't like it what being fed is is they're just not putting enough sugar on it to make it good for your appetite i may never come back i may never get invited back to tennessee and as long as i'm on christian television i'm going to tell the truth until i get thrown off of there you hear what i'm saying it's expensive to be on there but my partners are paying a lot of money for this message to go around the world because somebody's got to tell the truth and the truth about the matter is this yes apostle paul did say that i may come unto you and impart some spiritual gift what he was saying is yes i want to come and get under the anointing of the spirit so the gifts that are in the house will start flowing and rest upon you but it didn't mean that he's going to come by and he's just going to give you a people like that or something to tap on the head if you give 50 you just walk through i'll wave my hand you give 250 i'll weigh both hands you give 500 i'll touch you with my right finger but if you give a thousand dollars i'm telling you that's tonight you give a thousand dollars you'll get both of these kentucky hands uh i'll slap them on the side of your head i'll shake it to your shoe heels come off you'll feel something one way or another but that stuff has gone i said the crusades are gone those big conferences are gone up nobody wants to go to them anymore they were lied to they said if you give this certain amount in the offering you're living in the projects you're going to own them next week who wants to own the projects when you get rich that's just something that rich people don't buy and i'm not being smart ellica i'm just telling you this a lot of a lot of crazy things that don't line up with this bible have been said from the pulpit but i'm not here to tell you that you need tommy bates i'm not here to tell you that if you'll get my if you'll partner with me you're going to get rich and a lot of people do but i'm not here to tell you that i'm not here to tell you that if you'll do this you're going to get something i'm here to tell you if tommy bates dies tonight that you've got the same through they'd go to cincinnati for work go to covington which is right across the river they go up for work their husbands will work sometimes monday through friday and bring the money bring the money back to the mountains that's how they live they had to live like that there was no work in the mountains they wouldn't leave the mountains but these they had them their husbands had a house up in covington they were three sisters claude mooneyham sister dayberry and martha felds oh but they had that ladder on the inside cincinnati is predominantly german catholic covington right across the river is predominantly german catholics so you get names like schnitzeler schweitzer schlossner humbledorf hoffenstopper huffa neefer in our church you know you know which one of the mountain women married a married a german a german catholic it'll go lawson hansley brock sailor helfenstein schnitzeler humbledorf you know that's their names and he's in northern kentucky covington right across the river from cincinnati it's predominantly catholic so mrs kaiser lived three or four houses down where these men were where the three girls were three women were there their husbands were working they came up to be with them that week they'd be praying oh they come up periodically but this is when the weeks they were up oh they get to pray and then that oh lord there was no air conditioning the wind is wide open the catholic people what's going on over there oh jesus we praise you this big old tall german blonde-headed woman should come over there one day and she's i'm worried about my son i haven't heard from him it's world war ii i haven't heard from him he said i haven't heard from him and i know i don't know what you women have over here but we can hear it out the window when we hear it we feel something we feel something coming out that window there's a ladder in your house it's not up there at the basilica that's what was in coming to the basilica it's not up there at the basilica where that big beautiful thing looked like it's straight out of europe there was no ladder there there's one in that living room there's something going on in there mrs kaiser said please pray for my son he's over across the ocean and i don't know where he is they haven't heard from me and i'm worried they went to praying oh lord we need you oh god the god of abraham isaac and jacob oh lord the root and the branch of david and then they'd get to pray and sometimes they couldn't get their breath and they go to hacking and lord i know god your prayer answering god oh jesus have you ever heard hacking before i don't know if you ever heard it or not and those women would get to pray and get to hacking and going on and old claude she goes i see i see i see i see a boy and i see him with a backpack on his back and i see him he's coming up trevor he's coming up trevor street that was the street on the side in the alley that wasn't the street they lived on it was the street in this in the alley by the kitchen she said i see a boy and she didn't know trevor street was there i see a sign and the sign says trevor street uh he's coming home he's coming home while those three sisters went to shouting as if it was their own boys miss kaiser just sitting there just standing there watching them just watching them that ladder reached from heaven to earth it reached from earth to heaven it came down that day it was about two days later mrs kaiser gets a letter in the mail and it said mrs kaiser we're so sorry to inform you but your son is uh her son has he's died in battle he's not coming home he is he is listed among those fatalities and she's grabbed it and she went just crying she goes look i've got a letter my son is gone he's gone and oh he's gone what am i going to do oh claude looked up and said give me that letter she said you take this and you do what you want to but your son is not dead and he is coming back and he's coming back on trevor because god already showed and i know this bunch nowadays they can't even get an election right [Music] you heard me and everybody ignores it act like it didn't even happen they just go on go ahead let's get you another prophecy say another prophecy they need to just start preaching the bible that's all i got to say about that and i won't say any more excuse me they mean to do that i haven't done that and i didn't mean to do that that's not nice she went back home totally confused these these mountain women over there these people don't have any education these women that never went to high school these women only went to the second and third grade they're telling me that my boy is not dead but the government getting me a letter it was about a week later this six foot four blonde haired curly blond-haired blue-eyed fair-skinned german boy come whistling he don't know anything he's just glad to come home and get him a german beer yeah shaneling is what they made drank in cincinnati all the germans made beer in this shaneling was their favorite he couldn't wait to get home to get him a shaneland beer with mommy and daddy he's whistling got that backpack on the back his mom is in the kitchen doing dishes looks right out the window on trevor street hallelujah hallelujah he didn't come in the front door he came in the sign door on trevor street where mommy was doing the dishes he come right in the way the holy ghost the way the latter said it do you hear me there is a real power there is a real anointing there is a real blessing of god and god has chosen you he said darkness is coming upon the earth and gross darkness is coming upon the people but he said i'm telling you what i'm going to do to you the darker it gets the brighter you're going to shine you're going to shine at walmart you're going to shine at the dentist you're going to shine at the schoolhouse you're going to shine in the parking lot he said it's going to get so dark they're going to know exactly who you are they're going to know exactly where you are you're not going to be hid anymore if you're trying to blend in you're on the wrong side darkness does not blend with light and light does not blend with darkness the darkness that's coming upon the earth is what's going to change this world there is a revival coming he said you're going to shine you're going to shine he said the kings are going to see it pakistan i could pull you up if i had a video here i could pull you up a video of pakistan you wouldn't believe it a presbyterian church has been baptized in the holy ghost everything that's moving out there in that foreign world has been filled with the holy ghost those women with had their heads all covered all the they're playing tambourines there must be must be a hundred tambourines in there they're playing the tambourines they're singing the praises of god all over the world brothers and sisters righteous righteous shall shine the united states has thrown out all kinds of statistics they're saying that 30 of the church that left during the covet will not be back they weren't in [Applause] my mother said when this all came on march the 15th when our governor we have a very strict governor and our governor buddy he put clamps down and he put him down heavy and when he put the clamps down i went over mom's mom's 85 dad's 87. mom said well we're gonna find out who's got it and who don't it's not going to change because of an election it's not going to change i have you know what i had to do brother when i started preaching after when i finally the first time i went out again was one service in november last year one service and then this year starting in february i started again but you know what i've had to do i've had to convince the church that were not in the great tribulation [Music] i said one-third of the trees are going to die one-third of the waters are going to all be polluted this isn't a great tribulation one-third of the population that would be three billion people during the tribulation are gonna die like that this isn't a tribulation this is mercy's door hoping this is the greatest hour this is the finest hour this is the greatest hour this young man didn't build this church here because he just didn't want to be over there in that white building i love that white building i love those pews sitting out here i don't know who sat on it but somebody said on them that gave us the ability to be where we are you're right i kept on walking on those walking by those pews and touched them thinking who's sitting here somebody said well i think it was a bad it didn't make this bad for baptist methodists they were believers yes yes and america wouldn't be where it is right now it hadn't been somebody sitting on those old old benches that was faithful faithful through to depression faithful through world war one faithful through world war ii faithful through vietnam and the korean war and all the other wars this is not the end that's right this is not the ultimate this is the day of evangelism praise god so since february march april may june july here i am in july and one more time this is not the great tribulation yeah that's right this is god has reserved you for this hour yes yes to be a bright shining light yes in the midst of gross darkness let me tell you brothers and sisters you haven't even seen how gross it's going to be they had a they had a parade and one of the they picked out two things happened in kentucky they hate kentucky we've got noah's ark rebuilt all right the amish building does anybody how many of you did not know the ark has been rebuilt anybody not know it oh that's amazing the creation museum is re opening up genesis 1. creation museum our church is here 20 minutes west noah's ark is 20 minutes south so what happens when the same-sex law was first passed there was a democrat who was a clerk in kentucky kim davis is that her name and two people came from northern said about it they said a few christians came to moorhead kentucky as in a as a stand against locking this woman she'd been in jail i think seven eight days not for stealing not for doing anything but because two men came down from northern ohio and tried to force a little kentucky brah hopper holiness woman to go beyond her convictions no that's been changed now but it wasn't changed then you don't have to do it now but you did then [Music] there wasn't a few there were over ten thousand brother of you have seen it if you'd have been there when i got there i had to park a mile away it was 90 something degrees here came the amish here came the amish in their horse and bungies here came the mennonites at the little things on their heads here came the holiness here came the old regular baptist here came the primitive baptist and the southern baptist here come the separate mappings here come the uh the the wesley and holiness here they all come i'm telling you they were coming on walkers yes elderly people coming on walkers families coming and being with bib overalls on and it as hot as it can be there were over ten thousand and the news refused to tell the truth and when they saw that multitude they opened up that jail cell and out she came hallelujah [Music] hallelujah praise the lord praise the lord let's all stand our feet hallelujah my mom sang a song when i was a little boy that said mercy's door is open wide today jesus says there is no other way and all when she would sing that i've seen her walk across that platform with her 30 inch ponytail her shirtwaist dress tears running down her face i don't know if any of you were watching online the night that brother wayne shell he's elderly his family had come and i said wayne i think they'd like to hear you happened when an old man was singing here come the ladder though millions have come there's still room for one yes there's room at the cross for a woman her brother was an alcoholic everything going wrong in his life in his mid-40s while wayne was singing that ladder dropped from heaven to earth and here he came running down that all fell into that altar and prayed through to salvation hallelujah this is where it is right now if you have a loved one first of all let me ask you there might be somebody that came to this service tonight you're a backslider away from god cold in the lord you're not where you need to be i want you to come and just stand right here we want you to get we want you to get your heart fixed first is there anyone in that condition second question how many of you have a loved one on your heart that needs to be saved we don't have room for everybody here but somebody i believe some of you need to step out and stand in proxy of that loved one as tonight lord mercy's door is open and i want a bright shining light to come to my son my daughter my uncle my aunt my mother my father my neighbor whoever it is i want you to come right now stand in proxy of them and we're going to pray because i'm believing the best is yet to come when i talk about the best is yet to come i'm talking about people getting saved those of us that's been around long enough we remember the old days while the preacher was preaching they'd come running to the altar with conviction they would come running get your singers up here brother get your whole worship team you see there's only one thing to do there's quite a few people i don't know how many is watching on when we're at church at home uh this is because i'm on television and stuff but we always have about 40 000 watching 40 000 can you believe that people getting saved and people get healed nations all around the world if there's a hundred watching tonight there's 200 or 500 we don't know that's right but i'm here to tell you in the name of jesus this is not the great tribulation this is the hour that the church must look in the mirror and say god you said gross darkness is coming on to people there was a parade that took place in one of the small cities in kentucky [Music] and the pastor said i i i totally can't even believe it they brought a group because like i said kentucky's really getting a lot of thrust right now we're getting a lot of things a lot of things has hitting us because of our conservativeness and they came to this city and the men wore either bikini underwear or bikinis swimming trunks or someone with just a string up their back end and they they paraded down that little country town as if they owned it the police officers everybody warned everybody don't you dare do anything don't you try to stop it because if you do they'll bring martial law in here so they just simply just walk back and let them have their little parade down the streets you know somebody wants somebody wants to show their flesh you know somewhere but this gross darkness that's coming on the people brothers and sisters they're going to try to force us to say this is normal yes right you're right this is normal it's normal for you to put a string up your backhand and walk down a beach naked half naked this is normal for you to walk up and down the street in seductive clothing with all kinds of brazen actions against nature this is normal so you can't stop the gross darkness i wish i could tell you i wish i could tell you could just rebuke it and cast it out and it's all going to go away but if you're waiting on darkness to leave before the light shines that's not what the bible says that's right the bible said in the middle of this darkness i'm going to turn your i'm going to turn your light switch up and you're going to get brighter and brighter and brighter and brighter hallelujah father in the name of jesus we thank you [Music] everyone that's staying in this altar lord they're
