that's a deer right yeah it's gotta be deer mean that's their deer for a big ol buck totaled out this car what is up guys welcome back to the channel so today we're gonna be working on our 2007 Honda s2000 and this is a car that we've always wanted actually they are pretty pricey to buy even off the auction because the value is just going up and they're pretty rare honestly there's probably like five or something on the auction right now as we speak but this is one of the bills that we've always wanted to build so today before we get it into the garage and explain to you what's all wrong with it we're gonna give it a nice wash like we always do [Music] all right so the thing actually cleaned up real nice didn't that paint turned out really nice it almost looks like though it's been repainted a little bit can you tell on the camera that this yes didn't really match that a little bit yeah from a Disney action you can tell on camera there also slight difference so the front end has been repainted but that's a bat do you check that out it looks amaze looks great we are gonna be respraying the whole thing though possibly but yeah we're gonna go ahead and roll it into the garage for now and then we're gonna continue working finally in the garage looking really good it's a lot harder to push this car than any other color I see feels heavier I think it's cuz these rotors are rusted up definitely dude look how rusty they are dude no wonder it was so hard to push and also you guys didn't notice it says brake caliper bolts out with the brakes spelled BR EA K which is crazy I don't know maybe this thing is loose I can't I can't move it it's probably rusted in there as you can see all that rust we were just pushing this thing it was just like barely moving but we finally got it in here let's go ahead throw it up on these quick jacks raise this car up and try to get this thing started because it just won't start now there's some something going on underneath maybe some pinched wires cuz what's going on with it now we're just cranking it over and it's sounding like it it's just like nothing you just keeps cranking notes we did we check we checked the spark and we check the fuel so that is their spark there's fuel now I just won't start and it was hid underneath the radius support is actually pushed back a little bit we just went ahead through the bumper on just to go ahead and throw it on it almost looks like it's not wrecked at all but it is in the front so let's start up on Quay jacks and take a deeper look up under this car that's where all the commies are right there yep and inline-four VTech dual overhead cams my Honda you named it all should we go ahead and just pop this bumper back off just to show them exactly hell yeah let's pop it off and get to that damage I'm wondering if there's anything pinched because I know that's a big thing a lot of you guys are already common thing that a ground could be an issue there's something as simple as that you got it on your own anymore let's get some lights under here so this is some frame damage right here this is what's called minor frame damage yeah this is why the insurance company totaled it out is because the frame right here as you can see it bent back had it cracked off right there not a big deal honestly for us rebuilders all we will have to do probably right here is pull it back straighten it out weld it back up no big deal may need a new radiator because the fluid is completely low as you can see either that's from us Washington or thats radiator fluid for sure antifreeze another way to do this is if you really wanted to you could get that whole support piece here and just drill those two spot welds out yeah you can also just buy new one of these honestly just depends on what the frame guy says exact mean but looking up under here let's see what we got first of all what the heck is that dude that looks like deer deer hair hair animal he hit an animal that that's exactly what that is probably done hit a deer or or a big oh I don't know it's white no it's my it's almost thick like deer deer hair you see that how thick that hair is yeah that is a deer and a deer would do this ain't no raccoon for maybe a fat raccoon or something like that I can see here all the way back there in the rear diff but luckily it looks like nothing is damaged but that deer got dish to rule nothing but the deer got damaged let's get the crawler under here and see if there's any wires maybe that deer probably ripped a wire off or something like that so let's crawl up under there alrighty guys let's check a part of this car oh we got some red aftermarket check that out you said I wonder if that's aftermarket red suede bars yeah maybe a sway bar link is broken well that sucks we're gonna need one sway bar link we got a cane in oil filter on this thing let's see what else we got full exhaust from the headers down oh that is nice dude oh it looks like they deleted or that's probably actually or they deleted the o2 sensors busy yeah clip one the one plug right here and another plug right here it's actually plugged up too but other than that he's really not that much wires up under this car is it pretty tight yeah it's pretty tight but I got it a lot tighter so if that wasn't it we did fix one little issue so let's go ahead and give it a crank to see if it'll crank up cuz I mean it was getting spark spark issue we did check the fuel we've pop that one fuel thing off it was actually shooting fuel and we popped a fuel rail off and the injectors were spraying I don't know how they're supposed to spray maybe they doing something different but maybe old gaskets it's at auction for over a couple years or a lot of months one thing that I did smell never opened this thing honestly check out how you open the fuel cap right here never seen that before look at that it says fuel then you just pull this little tab it's pretty cool just smell it tell me what you think cause last time I smell it kind of smelled like old fuel yeah either old fuel or that cheap fuel that or whatever year 87 or something but it says premium only yeah these things run on premium so if it smells like grandma's lawn mower you might want to put some fuel so let's give it her crank seafood crank up would it hurt to give it another crap we've got a new battery in it maybe not but we did buy spark plug so that's the next best bet yeah we have spark plugs and fuel treatment because when I took them spark plugs off they were really dirty or they're really dark yeah oh it sounded like he actually started getting more cranks dude is that what that was it sounded like it wanted to crank over [Music] yeah but it almost sounds like it wants to starting to like it's starting to get more air it's getting combustion right now maybe get one piston or two pistons something like that sounds like it should I just hold on I always just hold on to it let it crank up just don't give no gas because that's not good for it I'm not gonna just gonna just gonna hold this and hopefully want to burn up a starter anything worst-case scenario oh you hear that seconds we gonna drink I don't know [Music] look he runs like a dream though she no smoke or anything I can't believe that dude [Music] it smells weird though smells like it's running rich but maybe that's cuz the o2 sensor and o2 sensors and there's no cat screaming they and Oh cat so that step let's check [Music] that runs oolong because we don't have : good no misfire what the heck you put I don't want to run it too long go ahead [Music] yes let's hear that in video [Music] I knew it I knew this thing would crank right up that is crazy I wonder what that means probably our spark plugs it could be let's see if he'll crank up again guy yeah yeah just cleared up the system there's got to be bad fuel because I mean it's it's it cranks up eventually or I mean spark plugs let's change them spark plugs out see if we get a better cut yet if not the spark plugs I don't see how much fuel this thing actually has they have to drain it drained if you'll put some good fuel in there with some fuel treatment I mean it's almost low not not that bad if we put the fuel treatment in there and put 93 in there let that run through I think we'll be good yeah barely later yeah the only thing I can think of it's probably spark plugs and bad fuels let's go ahead change them spark plugs out hopefully this thing starts up even better [Music] oh my goodness that's probably our problem what the heck is that dude bad bad valve cover gasket valve cover gasket could be bad that's why there's all going into the spark plugs this can honestly do the misfire yeah this ain't sparking I mean just filled with oil so that could be our problem guys we're probably gonna need to change the valve cover gasket and should we throw these new spark plugs in or just wait on the new valve cover I would maybe try to throw these in and see if it starts any better with dry spark plugs and then of course we're gonna do the valve cover gasket anyways but just to make sure that's our problem but it's it's weird though it didn't burn no oil didn't have no like yeah it is pretty no smoke coming out maybe this one that wasn't firing maybe what could be it could be a three cylinder yeah it could be three cylinders right now VTEC wasn't even kicking in yo [Music] all right let's give this thing another whirl we got all the plugs in hopefully this thing start to ride up let's check it out I'm ready [Music] it runs good after it starts up I wonder one that could so we're gonna wrap this thing up for tonight we did get a late start but we're gonna continue in the morning all right so what is the next date here we're probably gonna go ahead and pull all this stuff outside pull the s2000 inside up on the lift start inspecting underneath see what's going on under there and start taking apart that front end [Music] and you already gather top drops it's the mana Didion already dirty that pollen dude hauling it's everywhere we're in go ahead pull it inside of the garage and lift it up do the things this is our major damage right here it did push this thing back and did a little crack right there not a big deal honestly we can repair this easily easily just pull this out a little bit and weld it up and we should be good to go honestly oh my goodness there is that nastiness that is disgusting what is that a deer I don't know deer or something look see that you see all that biohazard all the way back right there that's a deer right yeah it's gotta be deer I mean that's their deer fur yep for sure but probably a big old 12 corner so because they go buck big old buck he done damage totaled this car out a big old buck totaled out this car yeah dang he had him all totaled the car oh that's the first time I ever seen something like this on the auction he probably jumped us they all see when he hit it yeah I mean let's check out this exhaust I mean a little bit of rust but I mean it's still and good can do that's aftermarket headers I don't know what brand a long they look like yeah those are long tube right yeah look almost looks like long tube headers yeah and then it goes into the NVIDIA exhaust No Oh two sensors as he was talking earth no there's more have the top I wonder what that one is they're supposed to be yeah look it's cut keep moving back here I'm diggin the exhaust I'll never go there definitely digging it's clean all the way back you know no big canister oh here's the cool over here BC racing cool that's why it looks so good okay it's it stands stands perfectly and we have plenty of adjustments if we wanted to adjust it but that's same as our cute car yeah but definitely gonna change the wheels not gonna stick with these and get some nice sweet yo Irish I mean that's pretty much the basic basics of it right there there's not much damage there's not any damage underneath here really there's that sway bar link that I'll tell you that broke you see that yes my Barling broke and then the bolt that's missing or broke off I think it's actually just missing two bolts one at the top one at the bottom so we're gonna have to take this wheel off and actually check out why that's like that let's go ahead start tearing this stuff apart we're gonna lower it back down and probably remove the radiator radiator convinced or all this front stuff so we can go ahead and try to get this thing straightened out and then hopefully get that radiator fixed so once we pull this off if this plastic is not cracked we're gonna probably take it to a radiator shop and see what they can do for us wonder where it leaked out looks like the bottom you see like right here a little kinked up maybe that may be you able to get repaired you wanna take this to the radiator shop and see if they can get that fixed for smooth here here's the radiator shop yep and we're gonna go ahead and try to see if they can replace this top piece we actually got a parts radiator vtune hooked this up with a broken one but he has the little cat well this is good as you can tell ours on this side it's kind of cracked yes so let's see if they could take care of us here today maybe we'll come back later but let's go in there and check it out all right guys we just got out of bail fees over here radiator shop they actually had a new top piece for our radiator instead of using that old one and swapping all that bad stuff that might even leak again yeah cuz actually the one actually had like a little broken had a broken Tanner you have whatever little tab where it connects but they got one for us they're gonna probably swap it out within an hour it's alright now we're gonna head back to the shop remove a few more things and continue working all right so we are back and we were looking at the front end here and it looks like we're actually not gonna have to remove much more because we would remove this condenser but it's still fully charged and we do not want to discharge it but the next step is actually gonna be to probably turn this car around hook up our winch over there on that side and try to get this pulled and straightened out and probably weld it back in yeah not much work there just as long as we get that straight we can easily pull the welder out weld it up and then we'll be able to go pick up our radiator and hopefully hopefully get this thing running and maybe drain the fuel before we get it running yeah we can check actually pick the car up see if there's a drain plug on this fuel tank if not not a big deal with either pump it out and just leave it in there but definitely got bad fuel in there but let's go ahead and check the fuel first and then we'll drop it back down turn this thing around and start pulling on this it's gonna be a lot of work if we even do try to remove this fuel tank cuz you got to take the differential off the exhaust all the suspension not worth it we're just gonna leave it alone how it is let's lower the car back down and try to straighten that thing out [Music] guys check this out look how straight that is I mean you know it looks almost OEM yeah we got it pulled out as straight as possible but as you can see it's still kinked right here and over there so the best bet for us was probably we're gonna go ahead and order these pieces right here so we can drill them out put a brand new piece in there and weld it right back so we're gonna go ahead and put a order on this bar this ball in that bar I probably have to dealership or if we can find a used bar somebody can cut it off well definitely gonna be replacing that but for now we've got it straight as we can we can all see though the intercooler on radiator right yeah not an intercooler yet radiator we can go ahead and throw the radiator on hopefully the guys are done over there with all right guys so we're here at the radiator shop and they found out that we actually have a busted bottom tank somewhere there's just a clatter there's just a clack or a crackers right along that bottom line right there so they don't have this piece we're just gonna have to wait for a new radiator to come in which sucks I was really wanting to take that down the road or we can go and run to the local junkyard junkyard and see if they might have one of these radiators laying around somewhere they might a one-off a civic will probably work for this thing as well so we're gonna go run over there see if he has any radiators so let's run to a junkyard and see what we can find all right so we made it to the junkyard it's been a freaking while since we've been out here hopefully they got let's look around it'll be a while before we actually find anything cuz this thing is massive so let's go see if we can find any Honda's all right so we got one off the regular Civic to be honest with you they're the exact same thing look at the bottom of them and cop honestly looks almost exactly the same all right guys we are back at the shop and looking at this right here right here that we just took off at the junkyard they're not actually all 100% the same there looks similar but as you can tell our fans do not line up with none the mounting holes and we'll probably gonna do some zip tie modifications to this radiator just to get us on the road and running until our new one comes in which should be here in like a few days we went ahead grab some of the our coolant right here mixes with anything for now and also got our distilled water so we aren't good to go so let's go ahead see if we can install this thing [Music] all right so we get everything put back together up front here we were just now trying to crank it up you know go for a nice little cruise whip the thing let it start for summer wouldn't you wouldn't start it's like for nothing we tried everything and then we start looking around you don't know what this this green stuff is that is radiator flute with antifreeze if you will have freeze now I know that's not supposed to be like that so which means we got a blown head gasket that's correct sir we will probably be pulling the motor you think so cool they think that if that's able to do that we'll probably do it without actually pulling the engine but we've never done something like this before so this is gonna be a new challenge for us I have to pull this puppy off then this puppy off take everything apart and get a new head gasket and valve cover gasket because the oil is clearly up top but we might as well just maybe get a whole rebuild kit for this engine [Music] stick to : that started right up huh oh my god [Music] that is spitting antifreeze everywhere and runs better with no cooling in there yes sir alrighty guys so that's probably gonna be a wrap for today's video we got hit with some pretty bad news that this car has a blown head gasket I mean it's shooting radiator fluid out the exhaust won't start at all so we're probably gonna either rebuild this engine or get a new engine we don't know I heard these things are pretty hard to rebuild so if
