Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I am really impressed with them. They are enthusiastic, positive, work hard, and have a passion for doing things right. They are a huge bright spot in the world of build channels!
When I first found them I (wrongly) automatically hated them, I just felt like they were not the same demographic as me, very "youth" oriented in their mannerisms, commentary, and music choice.
However, they have consistently proven how thorough/methodical they are in their repair build process. Their ability to learn new skills (and get very good at them) is also very interesting to watch unfold.
They deserve every view they get, they're very hardworking and always willing to learn a new skill. They'll do well with that attitude.
These guys are great. I tend to watch their videos as soon as they are released. Unlike so many other re-builders, goonzquad actually puts in work instead of just talking for 20+ minutes.
This channel sounds a lot like me not getting any work done today.
No hate here, but the whole buying and rebuilding salvage sports/super cars thing seems to be a growing trend in the automotive YouTube scene.
I used to watch 'em, but then played a drinking game where I had a drink every time they said "OEM" and I died after 3 minutes ;)
Been watching since their wrx rebuild, they grew so much over the past half a year, well deserved.
They really are an inspiration to someone that wants to learn to wrench on their own. Really cool watching then improve skills with each car.
Also, shout out to Thomas for his editing skills and getting these videos out in a timely manner.
These guys are much better than other salvage rebuild trend on youtube that either milk videos or do hack work. There is one guy Sam that bought frame damaged R8 and lets just say did complete junk repair and made the R8 even more dangerous...
