Rebuilding A Wrecked 2017 Mustang GT part 17

[Music] hi guys so we got a new package a new mod for the GT it's gonna make you sound absolutely awesome so let's go ahead and crack it open and see what it looks like there's a daily dose of Thomas you know he loves just chill and watch this work it's actually an exhaust I'm pretty sure most of you guys will know that right off the bat so it's gonna definitely give it a new tone and gonna sound a lot more aggressive and there may be a few more surprises inside this box so let's go ahead and crack it open and see what's inside that's Thomas his favourite toy right there in Tanner oh guys you're gonna see if Thomas wants to help us open this box up nope he's off off to the woods okay I like that tape for me trick so let's go ahead pop that sucker open man look at him I know you want to help and get the sharp-clawed oh man you know how we get them peanut likeness Thomas loves this stuff more than anybody let's see what he's gonna do about it come here buddy here you go [Applause] [Music] [Music] let's go ahead and start digging inside it what do we got here what is it is this long tube of sort and we have there another long tube some sort of the exact opposite exhaust that's a massive has a huge tip it's perfect he's like an awesome box out there man that's like high let's put it down right now on the wing on the wing carefully let's see what that when you wanna scratch that carve in there I'll hold it just to crack it open what is this this is that dude this is the open and closed valve remotes there's two of them I guess you plug this in your obd plug in and this will actually like I guess reads it so I'm like something like that it sort of gets the remotes and stuff like that pretty awesome go ahead and tear it open son look at this though ooh I like to have a motive weaponized a size called army crate get a little box there another tip I can't wait to open once we get everything out of here Thomas is going swimming in some peanut packing oh dude the most important thing I think oh man I can't wait to put an x-pipe on this cars gonna be awesome it's what everybody's been asking for excite I think that's it dive in all right let's get this box out the way yep exactly yeah it's actually close the box back up do you want to go in there buddy go ahead come on buddy get in there you Dan come here buddy you hear it scars good lord this stuff is a mess yeah we better close that up for those yeah what a puppy for the kid he gets in there so this is what we got here this is all the stuff that's needed for this valve atronics the valve exhaust on a remote control oh yes you're gonna be a really good exhaust for this Mustang because it is on a valve control we wanted something aggressive on this car but also something that can tone it down a little bit if we don't want it too loud or if there's a cop's Riley cop right behind us around the side of this you know we got it the five-o got to be careful with other five votes yeah so if you own a 5.0 s 50-foot s550 this is like the perfect exhaust to get so we're about to install this thing and see how this thing sounds go ahead and crack that first piece open I can't wait to open all the pieces I know all right I'm all laid out look at him just look at him Reese gonna look at and we're not even gonna put them on just yet I'm just kidding guys we're gonna slap these suckers on there as fast as we can that's a lot of I want to hear it yeah good job on the packaging that looks beautiful man look at that outlook that army tripping this is the valve right here it do take a butterfly valve I think did you call it was a run by air if it is that's some awesome stuff well we're just gonna have to crack open some of this stuff here it might be a little compressor or something in there all right so we got everything unpackaged right there except for this right here let's crack that sucker open and see what that looks like exhaust tip they look pretty big yo Bart yo that's perfect I love Barton oh my goodness Oh just put it up just put it close to it oh look at that I love that yeah it's gonna fit perfectly right there dude I like the logo as a sick logo there let's see what this box has in it that's something I'm kind of interested in that box is small we get yes I'll go ahead and open this too son like a tiger we got gaskets assets and bolts and bolts yeah they're not gonna really need any clamps it's gonna be full whenever you cut here we gotta go I guess that slides in there I'm pretty dang sure we'll see we'll see once we get to that stage yeah I've seen as I box a little bit bigger whoa whoa is this some technology man we got here some kind of Airlines yo don't tell me this is only actuator this is gonna be awesome man I think the exhaust valve is actuated by air that's an awesome you Oh No hope you man is breaking that's pretty neat good thing we got instructions here cuz this seems a little bit technical but hold on what is mine bro dibs I'll let you borrow it no that looks pretty sick so we get things started just want to go through the nice installation mango like that they're nice and clean colorful you know you don't get that usually getting black and white yeah we want that color with nice quality paper before it's talking from you I've received everything in the packing list okay [Music] for right-hand-drive no this is this is so come to blows the Reg oh this is there's a different one for right-hand drive cars there's some European stuff right here in America's it's all folks the screws and the gasket so we're good to go we're ready to install this puppy all right guys so we're gonna put the rear end up on jack stands lift it up and then move on to the front basically put the whole entire car on four jack stands so be in the air pretty high and so we can get under there really easily to install this exhaust all right guys so we got the car lifted up we're about to get under there and probably start with that X Piper take off the stock exhaust yeah well we're gonna have to slowly work our way back take off the exhaust tips from the axle back and then see where we have to cut it or whatnot it didn't really specify in the instructions exactly how to install it so yeah we're gonna just get to it just we're gonna get under there start taking stuff apart I'm gonna start from back here and take off this axle back just one ball on each side should be able to pop it right off and then we'll move on all the way over there dang-son we're gonna remove the Roush Roush man we've got to keep it no never know what you're gonna get Nick right exactly we like to keep our stuff so it was easy super easy Roush exhaust pretty sick I like the sound of that I got a nice low life low life low life here's a night yeah this is a really nice axle back you're looking for a cheap exhaust it's pretty good on the Roush axle back great sound a little it'll crackle and pop like a firecracker I pull that sucker out right there I'm gonna get the other one off all right I took how long two seconds two seconds to let me compare the the tips here hang sign I like that color yeah I like that burnt tip definitely looks a lot better but great sounding on that you gonna pop that other one off Moon's a little bit sturdier careful with the bumpers rubber mallet will probably run out I'm on it I'm out on the way Oh spray juice that's one way let me see if this sucker will fit in here nice and snug oh yeah it's like it's almost gonna be like chameleon you know it is the blue with a blue car matches ooh I love it cuz it's pretty safe what all four jack stands like that oh yeah let's say it any safe it ain't safe hey you wanna start it and see what itself I do want to start it good point let's start it he doesn't get frightened bags all sounds but I'm a video tape him he started up I don't think he'll get scared [Music] what do you think where are you going [Music] I had like a crazy sound too too much rasp yeah so we did heat it up a little bit but it was worth the video you know I wanted I just it's just interesting do not let her rip let er rip sometimes suckers rolling like some walls under the hot well one point much but it's pretty easy to pop it off that's it that's what the x-pipe connects to right here yeah so it looks like ya know miles so I mean it's pretty cleaner I could use a walk 2017 and the loader did kind of stuff it from the very beginning that's not a big deal you know I'm not gonna complain it's a rebuild time it's better no I think that's the new saying I hope there's only hit my head no I shouldn't yes you just slide off to the back yeah this is where we'll probably need two hands on deck because there's two rubber grommets back there I'm gonna hold it over here and push it while you pull it now we can start it what on earth is this we got that sucker off right there I don't know what the heck kind of restriction that is but we want to give you it we don't need it yeah you want to start it yeah I'm gonna start that straight out the block right there we ready Jimbo [Music] pretty nice Wow let's keep moving let's keep moving with the original palm slide up in there and the original fasteners yes in it down look what it says on this drop shot this is scrap if dropped so if you're working at the ford forward of the plant and you dropped my drive shaft you better scrap scrap new sectors up it's pretty actually easy the hardest part is gonna be doing all the electronics and stuff yeah we're not gonna tighten this up first we're gonna have to oh yeah just every put those book everything on and then tighten everything up at the end need your help go under the back of the car over there in the back Sam comes in clutch man and hold it that way do without you man is this your last day here you wonder you leave tomorrow tomorrow he lives in Africa now alright guys so we've got the mid pipe in now it's time for these exhaust pipes think that's mufflers too calm up oh yeah now it's time for these mufflers right here it's overall pretty simple so far so it's a really easy install let's put these puppies on and open they're pretty dang good I gotta say the bands and stuff are really good it's it's pretty flush or centered there mock it up for me as far as we foster [Music] than that let there I have to trim that up I'm definitely gonna trim that up okay slide back further on that hanger oh that's it alright then we're gonna have to trim it up about yay much I say you're gonna go make that mark right there and cut them both what do you think Thomas I going back under there oh yeah much better yeah just leave it just like that you circs perfect one inch on both sides I guess and it looks clean right there oh yeah all right let's do the other side all right so we got this and trimmed up also just go ahead and put it on and then we'll install the tip look at Thomas just chilling in this grass buddy you get you just chilling in here I guess we got everything connected everything tightened down the tips actually aligned up pretty dang good as you can see there dead center everything else is up go ahead and crank it Thomas we're about to crank the car man you better wake up yeah I think you should wake them up yeah the valve closed or open right now I'm probably closed valve open let's hear valve open that south you give it a couple reps I love it dude cold star is freaking aggressive [Music] yeah make sure there's no leaks but look at Thomas man he didn't even budge it's just another day in the office he's used to her boss man he grew up on loud exhaust pretty much dude that sound is so good for cold start man [Music] any leaks I'm just gonna send it go for it man let her it this sucker is loud he's going straight into the garage so dang-son alright so guys if you want this exhaust we'll leave the link down below but we'll do some more wrapping after we finish off with the electronics in the valve the shut on and this is an army tricks what what brand is it I think it's valve atronics or shuttle electronics awesome exhaust fan I'm glad we went with this exhaust it sounds so good freaking like that man the installation process was super simple yeah it was took us a few minutes so nah I mean it took us about two hours it's about two hours but hey we don't have a lift we're just out here with jack stands but that say that sound is just worth every move to can do this in your driveway will link it down below go check them out guys and so the next thing we got yeah so the exhaust was a simple part now we got to do the wiring well this is just hose for the valves in there there right now they're open that's why it sounds so dang good so we're gonna run this tubing all the way to the front where it tells you to run it should be fairly simple a couple wires they look like plug and play and you got like the actuator guess it's back you mercy yeah that's like a little vacuum pump or something and then Thomas done got me I got it man but it comes with two remotes for your keys last three buttons I don't know what they mean we're just gonna have to play around with them until we find out one's gonna be mine you know this plugs into the OBD and it actually reads the remote and actuates this little pump to open and close the valve so let's let's go ahead and put this stuff on and go from there build my hopefully yeah it should be simple I mean that was super simple wasn't it buddy we ran away you scared oh you're just scared of it I want to see how quiet it does actually get because we did put a hex pipe on it so little oh man you gotta have that exhaust cuz the law the law the law will get you south so no man did it dude that's like one of the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard lying it rips it just sounds like it's just sending it all the way rich it rips for sure alright so we just ran the vacuum line real nice you won't even be able to catch it so we zip-tied everything is running alongside the OEM factory wires like the fuel lines and it's all the way over here and they left us plenty of excess here so that's a good thing so we're gonna leave this here and go test drive this sucker down the road yeah hey ain't this connected later on so don't worry we'll get that we just don't want it quiet right now yeah we don't need the quiet in this right now so you're just gonna throw this under the hood here we go drop the car down because we won't be needing to get under there no we just wanted to go ahead and route all the tubas here and then drop the car down go give it a test [Music] all right so everybody give it a test drive and crank it up again sounds much better than always sounds so nice - that's just straight-up freedom right there guys I don't know what else to say that little white smoke you seen coming out that's that's freedom smoke right there I got so this is the next day here the exhaust is fully installed now we're actually gonna wire up the valve so we run into a cold start for you guys so let's hear what it sounds like to stock a vacuum system and then somehow alright so underneath the hood here we got this little actuator switch we just clip it in right there hey we're tapping in yeah the stock vacuum system over here in the back and route one of these wires back to the actuator and that should do something yeah that should make something some sort of magic to imagine I mean it's pretty straightforward here I say we just fished this sector through near the sound to where the sound tube enters the inside of the cockpit of the car so now we're just gonna plug it up right there I guess right yeah make it nice and neat over here [Music] just by a click of a button just don't everybody see cops you just press it press it hold it load it sounds don't count stock sounds even wider than snow oh yeah get you one of these for your s550 Bailey infamy to open her up overnight right now my opener yes sir that's what we were looking for right there we Baba power we're in Mexico right now anyways closer man that thing is silent yes I'm pretty sure taking the holiday hey I love it what is the company super quiet when you don't want to piss off your neighbors dad or the cops too long you know you gotta play it safe out there were no tickets no extra you know fees we already got enough taxes to pay oh yeah it's super quiet right now that's like it's like a hybrid dude are we trying to are we driving a Prius right now sounds now you know that's the best exhaust sound I've ever heard on an s550 so
