Rebuilding A Wrecked 2017 Dodge Hellcat Part 17

that ain't the smell of freedom I don't know what is oh you already know what time it is time to start up the kitty boys overnighting because it took so long but we're ready to put this beast together so let's hop on it right now I'm gonna toss them to you brand-new paint job Ketchum what is up guys welcome to the channel so finally I know you guys been waiting for the hellcat and today we are actually gonna complete it we finally got all of our parts in we're going to start with the interior the SRS module and also the seatbelts and all the airbags we're going to finish that up and then we're going to move on to the exterior and we got a bunch of button-up pieces to fasten that front bumper and also in just a bunch of other little miscellaneous pieces that are gonna complete this build so let's go on and move into the interior to start piecing this thing together [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] so we finally got the dash in it is looking absolutely great everything's coming along together pretty smoothly we want to make sure everything is flawless no kind of vibration no kind of noise comes from here so it's very nice and firm everything's looking absolutely great I love the new air bags man this stuff I don't know I don't want to feel that off do that till we're completely done but as you can see we still have a few pieces right here around the door sill that we need a snap in but we're gonna wait on that because we got some seat belts with guys drop in there so we're gonna go ahead and throw them in and the interior should be a hundred percent complete [Music] [Music] [Music] finally the interior is back together man it looks great I'll miss the look of that right there I'm living in the look at that blown air bag we got that fit so what's next let's all connect the battery and see if the air back light went off exactly yes my main concern right now but I'm gonna go ahead and connect it for you you ready make sure no airbags blow on you in there all right we got juice rip all right guys so we just cranked it up everything is fine other than the airbag light is still on for some reason we're gonna probably try to run a scanner on it and hopefully we could turn it off that way but I mean everything is here just that light is kind of a big deal so we're gonna see if we could turn that off somehow yeah but first we're gonna we're gonna install the front bumper finally you know it's on there but we got to take it off with the actual brackets on there and interesting to see everything yeah we got a bunch of a little parts let's put that together yeah we'll actually have to go to the shop because we just called up the safety restore place and the guy just said that go ahead and try to run a scanner on it usually it should have reset but you know that's you're rebuilding cars and everything doesn't go right exactly so we're gonna put all this stuff on what do we got here we got these brackets right here that we are missing so we're gonna go ahead and put them on the left and right one and then we got our little button up pieces for the engine bay over yes sir clean it up make it look nice no that was this is for the lip you know oh yeah on the lip we got the lip over there thing looks so good dude already and then we got a little side marker lights and everything else got to clean this in July no man she is dirty gotta clean the engine bay we've got to put our left latch on so we're probably gonna have to pop this bumper back off so let's go ahead and do that and install the new brackets and we'll go from there the rest of this stuff is gonna be inner fenders which we got all the inner fenders right there so we pretty much got everything we need to complete this car [Music] [Music] right so now that book the bumper brackets are on and installed riveted on we're gonna go ahead and crack open this front lip here yeah I know you guys probably thought thousand lip but that's just a bracket that holds this sucker right here man that's gonna like sit alright so this piece actually has to come off we didn't know that at the time we didn't have to live so we're gonna have to pop this off real quick and I think that lip goes on person and this actual was like a bracket that holds that lip from the flap and I guess it slides right up under there so we're gonna go ahead and pull this off and install this lid I so finally the lift is on it's looking great but you can't really see it too good right now so let's go ahead and throw it on the car and finish up buttoning up the whole entire bumper so we don't have to pull this sucker off your do more so let's go ahead and put it back on [Music] alright so the front bumper is on it looks great that limp just absolutely makes the look a lot better dude looks super good so right now we're gonna finish off the top of this bumper right here and to clean up this little area with these little dress-up pieces little plastic guards they just cover these little areas up to make it look really clean so we're gonna go ahead take this out of the package and install I gotta clean that looks I mean it's dirty but it's like you can go ahead and throw on that little seal that goes here yeah all right so the whole front end and everything is buttoned up other than the inner fenders which we're gonna take care of that later because we actually got to take this wheel off and the sway bar from the collision actually the little mount that holds it in there we'll show you here in a second yeah the little rubber bushing that holds the sway bar actually I popped out of place so we're gonna go ahead and remove that wheel we're going to get at it pop it back into place and take care of that all right let's show you guys what we're talking about here right here as you can see I guess from the impact it like pushed the the sway bar that way and pop this rubber bushing out though when we were driving this with noise I was making we didn't know what that was and then we looked under there and the sway bar was loose so we're just gonna unscrew this clamp right here put the rubber bushing back in its place and screw back now it should be pretty simple fix hope alright so we just got that all on there tight and very nice all tightened up so we are good on the suspension so we're gonna go ahead and throw the wheel on and that should be it for the suspension alright so we got a good bit of work done today we're not done yet so we'll catch you guys in the morning and do some more work alright guys so it is the next day here and we do need to check the transmission fluid in the Hellcat so we're gonna steal the quick Jack from the Camaro drop it down we put the wheels back on it or I put it under the Hellcat and see what we can do alright let's lift this thing up this thing is a lot heavier than that I bet it just seems heavier this thing is a massive boat tons of power well not pick it up to the highest setting so yeah might as well and lock it into place see what's going on under there and this how you lock it in right here you going down oh that's already well they're locked in itself alright so they just found the fill vault now with Dodge you do got to raise the engine temperature to a certain degree I think it's like 86 degrees and then you got to pretty much unscrew it and if it pours out then it's good if it doesn't you got to add a little bit so go back under there and take care of it alright so the transmission fluid is all good so before we do any type of test driving we do got it clear all the codes so we're waiting on vtune he's gonna bring his scanner tool out here and he's gonna make sure we are good to go for the street so in the meantime we are probably gonna drop this car down take it outside and then we're gonna bring the lift out there also lifted up and we're gonna give this filthy girl a wash underneath and on the outside also probably an engine bay - it was filthy there let's take care of it [Music] she is filthy man what a filthy animal I see we got the quick jack set up over here closer to the garage near the water spout we're about to pull out the pressure washer go ahead and lift her up we're gonna pull all four wheels off and they want to make sure we clean real good under there man [Music] [Music] all right so the car looks absolutely amazing it is sparkling throughout only thing that we have not cleaned is the wheels which are right there we're going to go ahead and detail them completely then we're throwing the inner fenders and then when I drop the car back down [Music] [Music] so while these wheels are drying they look to be completely dry we're actually gonna go ahead and install all the inner fenders as you can see here we went ahead and installed one which definitely cleans that up a lot we just got two more I think yeah one of them is good so he's got two more in the rear one in the rear and one and one in the front [Music] [Applause] finishing up there where you guys go if you guys get your daily dose of Thomas I know you gotta get mad when you don't see him he's been real lazy lately but once it cools down that's been so hot I could understand I mean I've been getting tired myself but Thomas is a cool cat he's still cool the wheels are over there just chilling baking in the Sun ready to get roasted off look at that guy's you seen do you see me hit the like button if you see me in that reflection [Music] all righty she's down she's ready to go let's go down the street oh yeah we forgot the detail the interior but also we took out those events we are gonna stay just send it pretty much send us see how it drives I mean it's probably not gonna drive - well because it's pulling up a bunch of codes but we're just gonna take it down the road real quick see what it does just to make sure we know what's going on so let's go test it all right let her rip look what it says service active dampening system yeah that's what we're worried about Red Team you Stowe so don't worry about any of those codes [Music] oh my gosh then just want some dance did you see that did you feel that that booty is talking back there oh man I think we got a little bit wheel it feels like it's might've been bent yeah during the collision oh that thing is crazy [Music] oh this is an animal dude this is an absolute beast see you pretty bad that wheels badly Ben I think I think it was in the front or wherever we're definitely gonna need alignment it's the steering wheel sitting sideways and it's like kind of wandering yeah oh it's gonna definitely need a live-in my goodness dude [Music] dude what is this this thing is an animal guys one really call it a hell camp are we crazy or are we just having too much fun man I'm you to stop driving it cuz alignment but I'm just saying let's go to the skeet alignment right now what time is there right now alright so we just put a full tank in that we're heading to the shop feet to shop or maybe get a line vli me go get alignment first take care of that steak there straighten that steering wheel out and then uh then we'll get them coats cleared here we go we got a tunnel I hope we didn't wake nobody but I'm pretty dang sure we did and it's too late alright guys so we're here at the alignment shop and they are way too busy so they cannot take us in right now if they can but I don't want to wait an hour or two so we're gonna just head back to the house and also the vtune they already shut down yeah they're shut down because I had an issue with one of their vehicles so a little problem so we just you know call it a day I guess because that's we don't have time to wait and we get wait yeah we got our test drive and that's all that matters and so I want to I won't keep driving so let's go roasting tires these go for it if that ain't the smell of freedom I don't know what is there this sounds so good from the house side man hey man that thing whines and it's got a stock airbox on imagine it like one of them bu woody or whatever they call it a something like that just after Morpheus will make that supercharger whine you've been louder dude oh my gosh dude they say I can't wait to drive it he's been driving his whole time being selfish man I'm gonna see how he's getting with I'm trying you know focus on the problems trying to fix and yeah I'm just kidding yeah I'm I'm not totally comfortable with it just yet because we haven't cleared any codes we're not in alignment we want to make it a hundred percent before we can actually turn it to a full test thing and we need new tires so I just want to absolutely - that's what I was thinking man just go ahead and roast him off I'm a dude there I just wanted my foot didn't want to let off I was doing it for America but then I had that thing on a default setting not a stock not track or sport I just had a default just default guys than we do the transmission was in street mode you can change the transmission to a track mode or anything like that I was wondering why I wasn't giving it full when I explained that was plainly I couldn't tell the difference honestly I really can't either we are backing up here and it's awesome how this thing has reverse sensors man work honestly I think the sensors are better than the Corvette because like it starts beeping at you yeah I mean this thing it's listen to it you hear it's like beads all right there yeah he really when you get too close that's sick dude I just got back from our test drive man is an absolute beast too bad we cannot unlock the full potential because we got a bit will we still got to clear some codes and we also need a London and some new tires probably too because we don't roasted them suckers halfway but man this thing is awesome I cannot wait to take this thing to drag strip or even take it down the street with this full power and 100% ready so we're probably thinking about just ordering one wheel because this one is wobbling like that we even had somebody who bought worth driving on the street who's like hey your tire is gonna fall off stop then I was pretty hilarious hilarious I was like television there's a bit really bad yeah that thing's so bad when you drive down the rolls like this so that's that's very sketchy but we wanted to put it to test for you guys so we are gonna be getting one new wheel we're gonna be fixing them all up all the little scuffs and scratches and we're gonna be repainting them but let me know what color do you think we should paint gloss black or satin but comment below comment down below honestly we were thinking about doing the satin threat on the roof yes I really want to do that it's gonna match because as you can see that real the rear spoiler rear spoiler you know it looks really good also this little little cosmetics and so should we get the red or the black or the silver and black Hellcat bags the hill cat a little kitty that goes there he wants the red one grab grab that that one and soon the center console grab it let's see how it looks let's see what it looks like like people don't don't understand what this thing is when we're driving down the street without this badge oh but they'll hear it yeah it's true in that supercharger whine I didn't think you'd hear the ink it sits like this oh yeah it's true right I think that looks pretty good with that big that way that's a let's fill then but red right here all this black is red and it'll match the rainbows and stuff so I think I look cool now it is pulling right look we were going so fast at our vents popped out no no pop them out because we have a pressure washing so that's gonna be a wrap for today's video I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did but there's gonna be much more
