Real VS. Fake Lirika & Teuta Matoshi Pieces !! *can you tell the difference?*

hi everyone so today we are doing a very exciting video before we get started i just need to address because i really don't know if my mic is picking it up but the sun is out and it is shining and it is like the first glimpse of nice weather we're receiving so the kids at the neighborhood are out and they are screaming like a lot so i don't know if it's getting picked up in the mic like i don't know if you can hear them i can hear them like as if they're like two feet away i can hear their conversation i know what the kids are talking about but anyways we're just going to ignore that because the show must go on and honestly kids can play for like copious amounts of hours so i don't want to wait for them to go inside so anyways today we are going to be doing something that has been requested ever since i uh was open about my obsession with larika and tuotu matoshi dresses you may have seen a few videos and giveaways yeah i'm kind of obsessed you guys brought it to my attention that there are a few brands that make tuota and larika mitoshi dupes almost like imitations uh let's call it what it is they basically steal the pictures and designs and then sell remakes i'm very interested to see what the quality of the imitation products look like so i went ahead and i bought four pieces from lurika and tuovo to mitoshi we're going to compare them to the real pieces versus the fake pieces very drastic price difference here but i don't know what the quality is going to be like either way the designers get credit for coming up with the design so they already get plus one there but i mean you guys were interested to see how they compare so today we will be comparing larika and to otamatoshi pieces to fakes sound like fun i think so let's get into it now okay we simply must start off with a bang i do not know how else to start off without a what am i talking about i honestly have no idea anyways we're going to talk about the viral strawberry dress now this was designed by larika motoshi that's where i got this one this is the real dress if you guys watch my videos you probably saw the video that i first showed this dress off in it is beautiful it's a fairy tale dress it's got all of these little glitter strawberries on it it's like the slightest slightest bit itchy but it's so beautiful it makes up for it there is just all of this delicate beautiful tulle and one thing i really loved about it was the bottom of the skirt like flares out in a really whimsical way and it's a very low neckline dress and i was able to find a fake of this on aliexpress for like a fraction of the price so let's see how this compares here is that package first of all just by looking at the package i already know it's not going to be as volumptuous and full as the real dress just because the real dress would never fit in a bag this small but okay let's see oh okay the general idea is definitely there okay oh then the front i actually have to do up so if the front looks a little bit messed up right now it's because it's not laced up yet okay one big difference that i'm noticing is the strawberries on the fake are actually sequins whereas on the real one they're actually glitter if you can see that so that's one difference that honestly from afar i probably wouldn't have picked up on that but having them right beside each other it's really easy to pick out the differences there's also less tool on this one but honestly it feels pretty soft like decent material i think we've got to throw it on to really get a good idea so let's put on both the fake and the real one and see which one looks better what if the fake one won that would be bad that would be bad okay but let's put those on here is the real strawberry dress on it's been a while since i've put this dress on seriously it makes me feel some type of way like this is so beautiful i love spinning in it i cannot take my eyes off it i feel like this is like my favorite length of dress too i don't know i feel like i am like in a fairy tale but i'm just in my room nothing special but this dress is special and it makes every occasion special for some reason i think i literally love everything about this dress down to like the fit like it really hugs the waist the puffy sleeves the flowy on the bottom the great length the only thing i would change is it's like slightly itchy around my neck i don't know why and i wish it wasn't and it's not that big of a deal but it's there so i'm gonna scooch over and we will show the fake strawberry dress and we'll see how it compares right now okay i don't know why this is so tight around the tops of my arms but it's really bothering me because i had to get blood work four days ago and they put that rubber band around my arm and now it's giving me kind of like memories of that it's so tight which is so weird because i'm clearly not like a muscly person where i would have like big arms but it's just really really tight i would definitely have to just stretch out these elastics quite a bit but okay i'm gonna try to ignore it it's not that big of a deal but okay so this next to the real strawberry dress i almost would say that that feels like the going out strawberry dress and this is like the nightgown strawberry dress if that makes any sense like it just feels a little less voluptuous kind of like a softer less amount of fabric not in the sense of like it feels softer but like this feels like a nightgown in a way when i spin you can really tell the difference because it's just not as full the real strawberry dress has like kind of like quite a bit of layers whereas this is like this top strawberry layer and then this bottom layer which you know the inspiration is definitely there i see what they were going for and it has pretty much the exact same neckline this is just like a lighter pink as well which is a little bit different but i would definitely say for this one i far prefer the real strawberry dress i just think it has that like vavavoom that i love so much about it but this is definitely cute and obviously it's way less expensive and the idea is there um but yeah i can't say i don't like this i just like the other one more if that makes sense okay next we have a tuota mutoshi dress now you guys have probably never seen this dress because i actually specifically bought it for this video i was searching around on aliexpress and i was able to find a fake of this particular style and this was like a new style onto otube's website when i ordered it it's got like these beautiful metallic or almost like an iridescent heart and it's a lot of ruching up here it's so beautiful and it's like a mid t-length dress i kept calling it a teacup length apparently it's a tea length i honestly cannot get things straight like seriously my brain is the size of a peanut but so i actually haven't tried on this dress yet but i am so excited about it it's so beautiful i love this mint color i swear from like grade six to grade seven this is the only color my nails were painted like mint was it for me but i did find a dupe for this also on aliexpress not all of the fakes are from aliexpress but quite a few of them are so oh my goodness whoa wait a second this looks really similar i i didn't think i would actually have to like make sure to remember which ones which but this one's actually looking very similar and like feeling almost the same oh my goodness oh my gosh this is so crazy if i didn't have the real one right here i would literally think that this was real like it's got the liner it's got the outside ruching the sleeves look the same this looks like the exact same metallic iridescent heart fabric and so much like this is a full fluffy nice skirt okay what okay be honest can you tell which one's the real one because it's actually really difficult i think the only indicator that i can see right now is the real one has like more detailing on the top as you can see right here this is the real one the ruching like tucks in a little bit better whereas this one just kind of hangs over it does that make any sense at all like this one it kind of tightens up here whereas this one it just is thrown over top also the real one is more mint whereas the fake one is greener maybe like a shade different like this is kind of crazy this is like a decent imitation what the heck okay maybe we will see a difference when we put it on but for now i'm feeling like this is pretty good oh no oh no okay let's put them on oh my goodness this is the first time i've put on this dress as i was already saying but like this is so beautiful i mean toyota she gives it to you every time she bring it to the ball every time why are you surprised what am i talking about for real though this is so beautiful everything down to the iridescent hearts this ruching up top the beautiful like drapey sleeve the length the fullness of the skirt i mean come on people we love it we love it i'm obsessed this is a problem this is a problem right when i think i've seen the most beautiful dresses this happens i can't believe it i literally have absolutely zero places to wear any of these dresses so this is really it's like five minutes of fun here we are wearing our dress maybe eventually we'll have somewhere to wear it and everything will be open i don't know but until then i will enjoy the time i have wearing it in here okay but a few things that i love about it that i will be looking on the remake is i love where the skirt reaches like almost like the middle it becomes a ruched skirt and it's just like little details like that i love and then i really do like how it's cinching the waist it looks very beautiful and the fullness of the skirt so i will spin over and we will put on the remake the fake right now oh my oh my oh my this is kind of similar first of all from like here down i would say it's so similar that it's actually scary like this is definitely a very very full skirt it makes me feel like it may literally be the exact same material that's how similar it feels and looks from here down now from here up that's where the details start to falter a bit so although this dress is my size and it fits pretty good around the waist i can tell that i don't fill out the top almost as if they were expecting a little bit more boob that i don't have even the straps are like more further out to the side that's one thing that i noticed right away about this dress the ruching in the front has no like indenting or detail it's more just like thrown over the front i want to see how this looks when i spin though i'm just really curious how's that look oh my goodness it looks cute yeah it looks really cute okay sorry oh why am i dizzy that was like three spins okay i would honestly say this is like the closest fake yet the skirt is so similar it's actually crazy the color is a little bit different this one's a little bit more green that's a little bit more bluey mint although again i would rather the real take what you want like it's pretty similar but don't devalue who actually designed this dress like this is just a remake imitation that's the real one that's all i got to say okay then we have the infamous lurika matoshi cherry sweater my giveaway where i gave away quite a few of these just ended not too long ago sweaters i love this sweater i love how eye-catching it is i love how fun it is i like how it has like these 3d hanging cherries it's just so fun and so cute and the knit is so soft and that's what i'm really going to be looking for in the imitation one is how soft is it because this is so so soft so i have it right here already i can say i'm a little bit confused because it looks like it's going to be very big but i did get it in a small which is the same size as this one but it almost looks like oversized oh my gosh whoa why is it so big it makes me feel like did i order it in the wrong size because this fit is way different i will say though it's very very soft like actually so soft not scratchy at all it is so so nice to touch and the cherries are pretty good too they're actually just not as full like i can squish these ones whereas these ones are pretty hard i don't know if that really matters and then the blues are a little bit different as you can see the real one is a little bit of a darker blue but when it comes to fit they are way different and you will see that when i put it on but the small of the fake is really really oversized which i'm sure some people would actually prefer an oversized sweater but it's a little bit different it's got the big sleeve though so we'll put these on and see how they compare i can definitely tell the difference between these ones quite a bit okay the real cherry sweater is on but the elephant in the room is these shorts because like they are so ill-fitting and kind of weird and i get that but i bought some shorts and i realized i only wear things if they're loose fitting so i bought them two sizes too big just so that you know i didn't really have to think about it but now they're two sizes too big and they're kind of loose so it doesn't really look good with something that shows the seam but if this was like a baggy t-shirt i feel like i'd get away with it so just ignore these pretend that they fit and just don't look at them let's just blur it for a second we will just focus on the top so a few details that i love about this sweater is first of all the puffy sleeve the amazing knit and then the cherries are just so cute and it is more of a crop sweater it tends to roll up at the bottom it's done that since i first got it so let's see how the fake compares i'm gonna scooch over quite a bit and let's put the fake on right now okay wow this is literally like a dress i feel like this like disguises my shorts problem a little bit because it goes past the waist the sizing is so different and i swear to you guys i bought this in a small and i also bought that in a small so they shouldn't be fitting so differently the same vibe but totally different fits and it kind of depends which one you would like more i'm sure a lot of people would prefer the loose long baggy fit and i'm sure at times i would too but it's just very different which i think is important to note it definitely gets a thumbs up for being soft like it's not itchy it's very very nice for that i think that the cherries are definitely better on the real one these ones feel kind of like squished and less like just not as good quality and then we just have way more of a slouchy fit which is not bad but it's not the original it's inspired by the original but it's not exact so yeah here are these two side by side i definitely like the real one more but i definitely think that this one is not too too bad it's very very soft and the idea is there so what do you guys think which do you like more okay the last dress is from toyota matoshi this is a stunning maybe one of my favorite dresses from tuota like this is so so beautiful i love the silhouette in the sense of like this sheer puffy skirt with like a mini skirt underneath and then in here there's a lot of like sheer mesh parts and these puffy sleeves i really can't get over puffy sleeves it's like all the rage in my brain right now and then on the bus too there's all this little detailing with beads and fabric and flowers it's just a really gorgeous dress if you guys haven't seen me put this one on in other videos i will put on in this one obviously but i found a dupe for this one on amazon and this dupe was super popular like i saw it all over tik tok so i'm interested to see how it compares to this dress side by side because the price is still a little bit pricey but not compared to this dress it's less expensive usually things on amazon tend to deliver pretty quickly but this was actually a month delivery because it actually had to be like made in the correct size so pretty high tech i thought anyways and i have yet to even open this up oh my goodness oh my gosh it's just so clear when they're like taking someone else's idea i don't know it ruins it a little bit to me but i know a lot of people who ordered this dress probably didn't even know that it was uh taken from a different designer but i just think it's so bad because i literally think that ad used tuota's picture of the dress which just makes it so much worse in my opinion like i don't know it's like that meme where it's like hey can i copy your homework and they're like yeah just don't make it exact but it is exact but like a little worse that's this because this feels nice and it looks pretty and it looks like the picture but it's just such a copy okay but i'll honestly just try to judge this singularly because i know a lot of you guys were curious about them and this feels very soft and nice it definitely has that really really nice soft tool oh the arm is like a little bit different than tuotas but pretty similar and then it's got the sheer skirt this skirt looks like it might be a little bit flared rather than a mini tight skirt and then i can see the lack of detail in comparison because if you look at the real one it really holds its shape and then here is the remake and you can tell there's a lot more detail on the real one and it also is more shapely if that makes sense like that looks different but holy the color is almost spot on the exact same i'm really excited to see these two side by side so let's throw them on and see if we can pick out any differences because right now they're pretty similar other than the best detailing let's see okay the real blue dress is on oh my goodness i remember when i first tried this on i literally would not stop talking about it this is everything beautiful in a dress i love puffy sleeves i really like this detail too it's like very dramatic to have like this sheer mini skirt under here seriously so beautiful and tuota's dresses just like fit so well without making me feel like i can't breathe if that makes sense like we've got a really cinched waist going on here but i feel comfortable and fine so i love that part of it the details are all stunning this dress is not uncomfortable at all which is so bizarre because i feel like it looks uncomfortable but yeah it's so pretty all of the tulle is so soft all the fabrics are so well made i love this dress i love this just so much okay anyways let's move over and i will show you the fake okay okay this is cute it's a little bit different and i can see a few parts that are different one being the skirt under here is actually like a skater skirt style it's not like a mini tight skirt like it is in the real one the top is a lot different and that's probably my only like con on this dress is these sections are really really big and for me you guys know not blessed up top it looks a little bit strange but not a huge deal i think if i didn't know this was like an imitation of that dress and i just bought this dress like by itself i would think this was like the most beautiful dress the fabrics all are very soft it's really well made it fits really well i would be super super happy with it but since i know it's kind of like inspired by that dress it definitely brought it to like a different standard like i'm judging it harsher because of that like just by itself it's a really beautiful dress one detail that's a little different is the tuota one is a zip up whereas this one is a lace the whole way down which i like these they take a little longer to get into but they're very like pretty like this one's really pretty like in its own way it's like so stunning i can tell it's inspired by that one but i like some of the details it has just on its own again i think i would still choose tuotas was my fave but i think this by itself is a very very pretty dress but yeah the idea is clearly inspired by that dress so i don't know not great that's not great okay that was a little bit crazy it's just so weird to see like almost the exact same product i mean i guess it's a fake one for a reason but they were so similar like so similar you definitely can't deny that there's heavy heavy inspiration if i had to guess i would assume that designers aren't super thrilled when other brands or people steal their ideas and remake them for a cheaper price but i mean it seems to happen in like every industry things get copied you could see it as like imitation is the sincerest form of flattery even though it really doesn't feel like that sometimes but i mean you guys were interested to see how they compared and i will always do whatever you guys would like to see so i hope you were interested that this
