Reacting to The TIMELAPSE OF THE FUTURE: A Journey to the End of Time (4K

yo so guys welcome back to another video and this is another um random space i don't actually know this is to do space or just to do anything in general maybe it's to do with the future of the earth or i mean it says time lapse of the future journey to the end of time so i'm assuming this is just going to go way past sort of humans and like things that going on go on on the earth and i again again i assume this is going to be involving just space and what's going to happen and this is probably not going to be a video that's 100 correct but it's i guess it's like speculating in sort of some sort of research we've researched probably has gone into this in terms of what will go on but then again it's just sort of a mix between the two of like speculation and genuine like i guess scientific proof but you're probably gonna probably gonna notice the camera's up like in a different spot i've sort of flickered through this video because i'm now that's what i'm trying to do so i can sort of choose where to put the camera and what i've seen is there's a lot of writing down on the bottom and my camera sort of blocks it so i've decided to move up here if i block a few things i apologize if there is a lot of things in the top left i'll end up moving the camera again but let's get into this i do love these kinds of videos again i'm 99 sure this is gonna gonna be to do with space i can't talk but yeah i mean i love these kinds of videos and these sorts of suggestions i would never find these videos in like if i was just sort of scouting youtube in my own time so the fact that you guys are suggesting these things i appreciate it and if there's any more sort of videos like this out there let me know in the in the comments i would love to see them like there's so many reactions i've got to get to that have been suggested and people are wanting me to to watch and i will try to get to try and get to them within weeks hopefully because there's a lot to get through but we're here with this one and i'm excited to get into this man so let's check this out and see what this video is about it's a long one it's a 30 minute video so brace yourselves brace yourselves i'm excited i do love these kinds of videos what does your future hold everything has its wonders ear and darkness of silence what does your future look like how would the universe meet his end we may truly we may truly never be certain okay so there is actual evidence behind some of this stuff drive-through time is potentially doubling our speed every five seconds vision of the future will [Music] that's the crazy thing right so we're starting in 2019 but that's the craziest thing the universe has really just begun it's wild when you think like that but it's true and it just makes you realize just how like a human's life is just so insignificant in the terms of the grand scheme of the whole universe it's wild to me man i'm interested to see how this video sort of says how long the universe goes on for in terms of years has ended what we do now and in the next few years will profoundly affect the next few thousand years the only conditions modern humans have ever known so far are changing and changing fast nothing stays the same on this planet everything changes the earth is is going into one of these jumps and you don't know what is going to be on the other side of those jumps the earth is always jumping jesus this is insane with you already sorry comes tropical [Music] constellations volcano rocks [Music] you want either disappears oh my gosh [Music] what is a crazy video stone monuments of road oh my why's me becomes a green what oh my days so that's crazy what wait suit satins rings vanish and mars like gets rings that's wild man antarctica melts oh man [Music] major asteroid impact new super continent what as it begins to run out of fuel the sun won't simply fade away to nothing its core will collapse and the extra heat this generates will cause its outer layers to expand the earth the sun is now dead it remains slowly cooling in the freezing temperatures of deep space [Music] i love ryan cox man he really intrigues me the fate of the sun is the same as for all stars one day they must all eventually die and the cosmos will be plunged into eternal night all stars eventually will run out of fuel the temperature of the universe drops the stars one by one in the night sky what so eventually there's just going to be no stars oh my days so surely that would mean then just all life because if there is life in other universes or in other universes in other galaxies etc i'm assuming with this happening there would be no life in just the universe whatsoever then that's kind of mind-blowing man and so that the universe is a long time but not with a bang but with a whimper last video very nice that's an insane thought man [Music] with the definitely not something comes to an end degenerate era also if i'm reading this out i apologize i feel like that's what i should be doing a my son a hot dance shrunk instead of what the hell with no fuel left to burn a white dwarf's faint glow comes from the last residual heat from its extinguished furnace looking at it from where the earth is now it would only generate the same amount of light as the full moon on a clear night and this is going on for trillions of years the faint glow of white dwarfs will provide the only illumination in a dark and empty void littered with dead stars and black holes ah you can't really comprehend this sort of time that's going past right now in some ways it's kind of a ghost universe it's the corpses the zombie stars that will take us into the future over time gravity ejects dead star the planets from the galaxy sent me them out into the freezing point what's happening either by chance some brown dwarfs collided and formed accidental new stars okay applying neutron stars punch in the darkness with ultra bright supernova neutral star collision this is an insane video man this is incredible i need to find life forms may find refuge around aging white dwarfs okay a crazy thought in it so there could have been life during that then still but in time even white dwarfs will fade and die [Music] a black dwarf will be the final fate of those last stars white dwarfs that have become so cold that they barely emit any more heat or light this is insane the dark dense decaying balls of degenerate matter little more than the ashes of stars their constituent atoms are so severely crushed that black dwarves are a million times denser than our sun black hole stars take so long to reach this point we believe there are currently no black dwarves in the universe oh wow that's crazy so how i know i know science is crazy but like how do they know that happens when there's not even proof of their even being one i mean i'm not arguing of sciences at the end of the day these guys are ridiculously like knowledgeable but it's just i find it crazy how with science you can sort of find out things that aren't even that haven't even happened yet i mean it's a crazy crazy thing that they do but it's just i find it wild how they can sort of know that this happens even though like he said there's not actually any proof of these being a thing in the universe because obviously it's not been it's not old enough like this the universe hasn't been going on for as long as possible for it to even happen yet i feel like that makes sense any matter that fails to escape it's kind of like see it's such a stupid supermassive black hole so so that was a black hole yeah but only eight minutes seen as well this is a long one black hole swallows streamer straight mantle the black holes fly out still the genet still the degenerate era the russian rotational energy that black hole was becomes the last reliable source of power exhausting future civilizations eight million trillion trees of life that's based on really the energy available to us now you could imagine living conscious systems have a very different pace and therefore can extend out at least a lot farther than you'd imagine otherwise [Music] you could have a living system where if it had a thought every 10 trillion years that would seem normal even if our life dies out one could imagine at some time arbitrarily far in the future a fluctuation occurs which allows intelligent life to exist again for a little while so you might have islands in time of intelligence expansion space time faster than the speed of light what the hell let's do that atoms themselves will begin to decay destroy jesus a proton one of the fundamental building blocks of atomic matter what makes us up can just spontaneously fall apart any material that evades the pull of a black hole eventually dies away as its protons disintegrate [Music] the mata inside black dwarves the last mata in the universe will eventually evaporate away and be carried off into the void as radiation leaving absolutely nothing behind black hole era i mean that itself seems like a scary thought man with the black dwarves gone there won't be a single atom of matter left all that will remain of our once rich cosmos will be particles of light and black holes what the hell i'm gonna turn up a little bit [Music] i mean that's a crazy crazy thought but it's probably right isn't it in a scale of human lifetime the universe has just emerged from the room [Music] cold dark and empty this is how the cosmos will spend most of its life [Music] the universe gives life only a brief moment to shine a haven in time the arrow of time creates a bright window in the universe's adolescence during which life is possible this makes you realize how unemployed it doesn't stay open it really does as a fraction of the lifespan of the universe as measured from its beginning to the evaporation of the last black hole life as we know it is only possible for one thousandth of a billion billion billionth billion billion billion billion billion billionth of black holes become the fundamental building block of the universe a galaxy will basically be a supermassive black hole in the center with smaller black holes orbiting zombie galaxies filled with black holes continue to evolve they'll lead each other and they'll get bigger and maybe they'll fall into the supermassive black hole and it'll get bigger the universe will still be an exciting dynamic place it's just that the time scales you're talking about are now trillions of years instead of thousands or millions of years in this fair flung age black hole emerges so i'm going to normal sizes possibly trillions of times the mass of our sun what what they emerge they send out powerful requirements that resonate from the universe black holes can bang on space-time like mallets on a drum and have a very characteristic song imagine two black holes that have lived a long life together at the end of their lives they're going around each other crossing thousands of kilometers in a fraction of a second as they do so they leave behind in their wake a ringing of space an actual wave on space time [Music] space squeezes and stretches as it emanates out from these black holes banging on the universe [Music] those are the gravitational waves they are literally the sounds of space ringing and they will travel out from these black holes at the speed of light as they ring down and coalesce to one spinning quiet black hole what if you were standing near enough your ear would resonate with the squeezing and stretching of space you would literally hear the sound imagine a lighter black hole falling into a very heavy black hole the sound you're hearing is a light black hole banging on space each time it gets close as it falls in it gets faster and it gets louder this is so trippy man i love it look at this man scientists used to think black holes were immortal but even these will one day die now we're talking about time scales of unimaginable length quadrillions of years into the future on that time scale even the black holes begin to evaporate [Music] so the house off to distant hawkins where the issue according to quantum mechanics space is filled with virtual particles and anti-particles that are constantly materializing in pairs separating coming together again and annihilating each other in the presence of a black hole one member of a pair of virtual particles may fall into the hole leaving the other member without a partner with which to annihilate the forsaken particle appears to be radiation emitted by the black pole and so black holes are not eternal they evaporate away at an increasing rate until they vanish in a gigantic explosion draconian magic bug explosion would be like quantum mechanics has allowed particles and radiation to escape from the ultimate prison a black hole black holes begin to vaporize raising the last large-scale structures in the universe [Music] look at the time as they die the light ducts light up the darkness [Music] it's like fireworks [Music] how do they know [Music] [Music] this is gonna be happening for this many times this many years [Music] as our black hole slowly die off the universe continues to expand driven by mysterious force we don't yet understand continues to expand what dark energy inflates universe this is the frontier of human knowledge and a frontier ripe for exploration and discovery philosophers and poets have asked the question will the world end in fire or ice we can now give an answer please surely the latest evidence shows that the universe is not slowing down but it's speeding up out of control and the universe we think will die in ice what trillions upon trillions of years from now [Music] empty space itself has energy in every little cubit centimeter of space whether or not there's stuff whether or not there's particles matter radiation or whatever there is still energy even in the space itself and this energy according to einstein exerts a push on the universe what is the weird stuff that's accelerating the universe we call it dark energy and this stuff is the dominant stuff of the universe almost three-quarters of the matter energy content of the universe is this dark energy and we don't know what it is dark energy unlike matter of radiation does not dilute away as the universe expands this has crucial implications for what the universe is going to do in the future so what will be the future of the universe well if the dark energy remains dominant and repulsive the universe will expand forever [Music] 70 of the energy of the universe resides in empty space and we don't understand why but we do know what will happen if that energy continues to be there the universe will become cold and dark and empty that's the future as it might be we don't know because we don't yet understand the nature of dark energy until we do we won't know the future we won't even understand our own origins and that's why we want to know and study this subject summon this true nature black energy could change our vision of the future if it somehow weakens over time the universe could collapse on the gravity a big crunch what giving a boost it could tell you the most part it seems physicists increasingly suspect that there may be multiple universes beyond our own what each their own unique laws of physics see i've heard these kinds of concepts but oh mate this is tripping me the hell out so i'm guessing all these different sort of universes these are all different universes right all these sort of balls some would harm the right conditions for life others could collapse or be ripped apart this is the same i was still going to be more excited than anything we could imagine [Music] new pieces to this puzzle are out there somewhere waiting to be farmed the forecast does seem to be for an ever colder ever-empty universe but then of course we have to ask could that end lead to a new beginning i mean if that's the case there are ideas whereby what actually is the end of our universe could in some sense be linked to the beginning of a new one it sounds like there may be a way to escape the universe beyond entry and raises everything you want you could create simulated virtual universes mathematics the equations they seem to say that if you have an atom smasher that can concentrate tremendous amounts of energy at a single point you can perhaps open up a gateway a baby universe [Music] facing the depth of everything there is this perhaps is their only possibility of escape and this also raises a very intriguing possibility sheer speculation of course that perhaps any universe that has intelligent life in it will create baby universes will create lifeboats and proliferate child universes so an evolution may take among universes in the multiverse survival of the fittest may take place so those universes which do not have intelligent life are infertile they have no children but those universes that have mild temperatures stars like us would create civilizations that could open up child universes and they would then proliferate [Music] if there's no way to escape the universe then entropy will march on destroying the last remaining supermassive black holes as the last one explodes it and dies it behaves in the universe and like one last time [Music] [Music] look at the time scales i'm getting grease pumps after an unimaginable length of time even the black holes will have evaporated and the universe will be nothing but a sea of photons gradually tending towards the same temperature as the expansion of the universe cools them towards absolute zero [Music] once the very last remnants of the very last stars have finally decayed away to nothing and everything reaches the same temperature the story of the universe finally comes to an end for the first time in its life the universe will be permanent and unchanging entropy finally stops increasing because the cosmos cannot get any more disordered nothing happens and it keeps not happening [Music] forever everything has its wanders even darkness of silence i learned whatever state i may be and therein to be content wow this has been something else man melody sheep man i mean is this the channel mate this is an incredible video what an absolutely insane video man this was insane and this is one of those videos that just makes you think it just gets your mind racing and you just can't stop thinking about certain things and obviously some of this is not like it's not guaranteed like that's that's the whole beauty of sort of the universal space in general like you don't actually know everything and things can change like that but it gives you a real good sort of look at to like what will happen and again it just makes you appreciate what we have like i mean first it makes you realize how irrelevant and just sort of insignificant not maybe not relevant insignifica insignificant we are to the grand scheme of the universe and maybe how there's other universes as well it's just it's a crazy thought but that's that's just the beauty of this kind of like this kind of stuff it just it gives you the ability to just have the ideas like this and it just makes you just allows you to think the craziest things but my god this is an incredible video to the guy who suggested this thank you so much this wasn't suggested loads but i saw the suggestion and i clicked it and i saw the title and i was like this could be an absolute banner and again it was and i want to check out more videos like this i don't know what is out there i mean i see this one i think this was suggested before five impossible things that can happen to other planets maybe that's the thing i can check out or just things similar i don't know maybe more from this channel as well because this video was incredible it's it's kind of therapeutic in a way the scariest part was when the screen went black and i saw myself i feel that bro i feel that 20 28 24 cover lockdown finally because the cosmos cannot get it becomes meaningless this is the most soothing ex ex attention i can't say this word existential crisis i've ever had it is weird it's a weirdly soothing about the same time scary thought this video is humanity begins to exist university you've chosen death humanity but the universe you've existed was privileged not right four minutes in all stars died i realized the video is half an hour long me i was one of those videos and you're afraid to talk to the person you like that's the true one man i'm not gonna lie i mean it's true this is the most beautiful terrifying video i've ever seen in my life has the same falseness right but people have had the same sort of feelings about this video here's how to kill 100 of bacteria it's at 99.9 just wait for the universe to end right am i the only one sitting here at 10 minutes going like what the is there more i might have to this might be one of those videos i just have to re-watch to really appreciate how incredible this video is and i just want to look at this anymore everything has this wonders even dark i know we saw that didn't we no that's just like featuring the voices etc but this was an incredible video shout out to the guy who made this shout out to the people who were the voices like brian cox at david attenborough neil degrasse ty tyson like these are people that i'm sort of i'm getting into joe rogan podcast i don't know why now because i do enjoy podcasts but i've been like sort of binge listening to them and especially like the scientists and it's just learning is fun man it's crazy how in school i hated it but now i love it so so much and it's one of those things that i actually love to love to do but that's just with getting older right when you're young you don't really want you don't really care to learn about these things or a lot of people don't but now i want to take in all this information and learn more and more so yeah again like i said i've been ramming a lot at this point i'm sorry for that but if there is any more videos like this out there please let me know man because what there's no harm in learning and no harm and seeing and learning about these videos right i mean broad broadening your horizons and seeing all different perspectives it's what i want to do man but
