we can do it together hey folks you know uh few people know the secrets to staying in shape better than my next guest uh he's a retired NFL linebacker and he was the one time face of the Baltimore Ravens please welcome two-time Super Bowl champ and my Man Ray Lewis now you've been in Fitness since you were a kid yes sir I was raised in a very domestic violence house home and I I literally had to fight every week to get men to stop from hitting my mom and at 9 years old I got fed up I got fed up and and I I made up my mind and say you know what I will start to train my body physically to make sure a man never touches my mom again wow you got secrets to getting and stay in fit yeah you got some day what's first hey you listen the the number one thing at 9 years old I uh we was very poor we grew up very poor yeah so I took a deck of cards one day and I started flipping them over and shuffled them went up on my bed put my feet up under my bed start shuffling these cards you want to pull that jacket off or you good no I'm good clean I don't w't take my jacket off I'm very comfortable so I so I took so I took these deck of cards right so the bottom line you pull a five you do five push-ups you pull a three you do three you pull a jack queen or King you do 10 you pull a ace you do 25 you pull a joker you do 50 oh I can't get no Ace dog 25 yeah yeah and then so so once you so once you actually get all the way through that you reshuffle them all over again and then you do put and then you do sit-ups so now I used to travel with one deck now I travel with three decks wow absolutely that's pretty cool deck of cards hey you know what right now if you had and if you had a partner that could be cool too because CU you flip I FP go there you go that's why I was trying to get you to take that code off oh no see we I still might get that Ace though all right let's go man there you go there you go there you go so this is what we going to do this what we going to do go ahead you I'mma pull a fire I'm going go and take mine off right quick I'm I just want to you know hold that for me bro all right so I'm g go ahead right and I'mma bang out my five 2 3 4 5 I'm wait for you father I hope I hope I hope no Ace or no joker don't come right now Jesus please father God if you've never done nothing for me before I'm asking you Heavenly Father please please be low bam three 1 2 3 yeah y so what's the next secret Ray yeah yeah we do that yeah yeah so see I play cards I I'm a gambler so I already know can't too many times without a face card coming up Ray what's the next secret man you know what I tell you what a lot of people when we think about exercise when you think about transforming the body making it look different what's the first thing we do we we go get we buy all this new food we buy all this new I got to go do this I got to go change this but we change all of that but we never change the insides we never actually detox coffee animal yeah it's one of the things I'm telling you yeah you talking about Clarity in your mind the energy it don't just be Clarity in your mind intimate intimate process as you know very intimate process but it's what it does when you actually start to get a routine to it and I'll tell you the other benefit the energy yeah the energy after you get past it the energy is amazing and it cleans out your liver and when your liver is clean which is a filter to your body is then able to process carbs fats and and proteins the way it's supposed to the reason you gain weight because your Li your liver is your filter is clogged so it can't process what you're eating so it turns it into a fat and pushes it out to the side all right Ray what's the last one so I'm I started training play played uh the football game for a long time uh since 1985 27 years from me and when I got through planing I said I was going to give my body a two-year break my body needed a two-year break I had been through nine surgeries I had been through just wreck after wreck after wreck that's what you H the man mean it's a car wreck and so when I got done playing I said I was going to give myself a break a lady who used to stretch me says there's something I need to introduce you to I said what is it you know it's going to help your joints the first moment I stepped on juven machine that Taps vitamins we take vitamins every day by the mouth right this is the vitamins for the bones this is how you wake the bones up this is the basic nutrition on no it's not a miracle fixer just like vitamin C you got to take every day right you everybody every muscle every fiber the smallest things in your body that we will never never touch how long do you stay on 20 minutes oh man it calculates it for you yeah from the moment you step on
