I'm look at that is the pearl yeah pearls from the voices that's pretty neat are you on an air-conditioned facility where people are very quiet I don't know it's very big hey Winston we're going in because not only will it save your life it also prevents you from getting a nasty sunburn I'm going to put my gear on suits all right when we hit the road anyway we're walking this very dark abyss and what does it this actually is is a wet market now what is actually a wet market when wet market is well if you look on the floor you'll see and all the will see that the floors are wet yes and that's basically because they sell like fish here that the animals in there it'd be the wet with water nice and friendly go over here making a lot of noise so we either work with water or wet with blood basically I'm going to picture taken such posing safra's okay let's lock this is going to be a hectic vlog my friend so yeah it's wet because it's wet with water or blood or look and they hose it down every night basically yeah and it's okay by the way because we're pathogens like stars stars that's true yeah and in fact you know this is an Asian thing I mean take a look the guts right strim right hey look so you have like flies buzzing around them and stuff not very hygienic it's pretty awesome I love to come into this place is really cool yeah look at this this is the Pearl it's got plenty of pearls from these oysters that's pretty neat you can actually buy the oysters with me again Wow look at that that's pretty cool they fill the pearl I don't know they're probably in perfect right so maybe not very much really cool look at that shell yeah that may totally bitch anyway these places are better to me better than going to a zoo because you get to see these animals like some of the weirdest stuff you've ever seen right absolutely mr. moxon here it reminds me of going through an aquarium in a western country because some of the stuff would be really exotic right here it's quite common we're in the tropical ocean so I was trying to see right GUI doctoring of GM ducks I always the geoduck because it's a Pokemon what have you yeah looks like kiri one you know what I'm saying is kind of an Asian thing it's not this China you get this to bang Korea and Hong Kong and you know Japan it depends obviously a lot cleaner and more orderly but probably more boring in that respect yeah probably in um in Hong Kong though they banned the sale of like chickens and stuff because maybe and dollar hey they're grinding the pearls there pick it out like stop ding beep that a lot yeah they're polishing the pearls I think they grind it into dust oh yeah maybe that's all the gesture they're selling in beggins waste not want not now knows I want yeah that's the thing is like this is not just something a little more interesting about this place because you can here it is that this is not just a place for tourists this is also a place where people buy all their fishing gear and all their people love to hump their homes all the time absolutely love it and they don't mean any offense by that by the way it's like a I'm here it is the thing you do in China we're seeing these dailies we're taking up a lot of space be there these are all the dried stuff is that a puffer fish that's a puffer fish dried up yeah dried up puffer fish and all the Seas sawfish starfish people actually eat a starfish as if they don't eat them like like that like that right yeah they come to them and make genic soups out of them right but it's funny because you'll see some of these exotic food shows and they'll be like wow they starfish here and they make the foreigners like bite it do if you're not supposed to eat it like that no no I'm not supposed to be like that now it's pretty crazy that display certainly so wet markets if you're in a place that doesn't it's not by the sea you're going to see lots of vegetables and they'll actually put through the animals right outside yeah so in my wet market in my small city you'll see early in the morning they'll slaughter the pigs yeah and a chicken yeah here you're going to see them bringing in these big ice crates and you see these little styrofoam bag full of fresh fish and they'll la they'll usually hit them over the head hello hit them over the head with a little hammer there and put them on ice and sell em brush yeah exactly so pleasingly deal and handle the weight market is it's like a farmers market tip is very roll and I do prefer it fresh and of course to get live animals like fish things like that which sales tools are for you right there it kills me right there beauty and there's actually restaurants right next to the places that sell the fish in here this is really special if you want to you can buy the seafood right yeah and you can write less mo spirits that I did you can buy some trend for the whatever seafood they're selling and bring it to one of these restaurants and they'll just charge you a certain feed actually cook it oh look there's eel oh yeah what is he doing always begging hold the sticker not old bugger it no way oh you can get a size now that is a massage parlor that you wouldn't you and only get a massage you get something real special real you got to do real something real truthful you know but yeah anyway so I was saying look at grouper yeah maybe the size of that thing's like a dinosaur one of the things about wet markets like it says you can actually buy the seafood here and go to a restaurant and pay a little fee or you can eat it in the house like right here that's pretty cool and you were saying it almost done it negatively like they prefer a fresh for seafood you asked for who you want it Fred it goes bad real quick in a brief know the only reason I say said negatively is because for people in the West it could be shocking rarely to see live animals that are suddenly just killed to be my I took my parents here and actually a really good sign is that it's really cool except for the honking yeah I thought it was really annoying very annoying I'm just part of China people say oh you put those beeps in fake you know everyone do down and sit there if you go back to see our video about tear systems yet we shot right before this side again I talked about like lawlessness and things like that the fact is there's a dodgy massage parlor that's probably a prostitution done yes you know it means a hello and the way people ride around and the way people write around so it's no traffic law exactly it's a little more free here you know a little more a little more fun I like the Maribor oh hey hey do it see the Marisol hat I'll marry bro like a merry Graham yeah you want to be America Roman and ro Marbella cigarettes but I'm not walking into that into that Sun now let's go back let's head on back anyway Webb marshes do you get them in bigger cities yes you do look at if they are covered usually so they'll be indoors yes and they're they're a little more regulated than over here bill they can so be quite hectic they're still hectic you still do deadlines chickens and stuff for you right then and there have you ever seen the chicken flutter thing yeah and they put it in that tumble dry Lazar comes out clean completely all the feathers are off of it I don't get it me neither anyway you do get them but they are more regulated but still the same sort of thing lots of meetings right and stuff lying around in the open right so yeah I mean you have to have a bit of a strong stomach to enjoy it yeah totally very very much very very much stuff but it is a treat for the senses in a way yes I going to do like this here it is I love it I'm still think it's kind of fun and you get to see the you know the people that work works are for the seat yeah representatives they tend to be pretty friendly folk you know here's here's an example of where they sell meat instead of seafood so this is all butchered here and the blood will be washed off the floor in the morning vegetable well maybe what these bloody vegetable and of course you can buy Oh your farmers vegetables and stuff here which is very nice another great thing about sign is not bagged vegetables it's kind of cool kind of cool that you can go get this fully grown right outside of here absolutely yeah although you never know so would you let's run this up right would you round it off this by saying what's that well we're thinking of yes yes we'll be the way they do it I think they cook it in there oh that's kind of cool clicks and Oh anyway would you I recommend as a foreigner you're coming to China would you recommend that you buy your produce in a wet market I would say yes and no okay it's okay never mind the fact that you're going to be dealing with all the routing and says okay you never know where the stuff comes from okay right here we're next to a fishing village you can be kind of sure that it's right but if you're not familiar with the sellers right you can sometimes get some horribly tangled stuff I would say get to know your seller absolutely or if you go buy from a name-brand supermarket if there are places like you know the hi hey I was going make up places like Walmart here in China now and Kara for and places like that and they tend to sell stuff which is of higher quality and you know they can get into trouble if they make you sick sure so as these places are liable completely unregulated so price the farmer here could be like farming his shrimp in like radioactive waste and you wouldn't know you wouldn't know so you could get sick so right I think it really depends on your area get to know your area yeah of course come check it out try it out the adventurous but be be cautious and get to know like I said get to know if you live in an area like the wet market I go through I buy my produce there because I don't necessarily know where the supermarket's getting their stuff however the the woman that I've been buying from for years now is very nice yeah and I do I trust her and I've never gotten sick of the food that she's so we go so you've never gotten sick from it to them yeah yeah that's the test slowly poisoning you with radiation you never know I don't think she has any radiation machines though probably anyway I thought it was pretty cool to show these guys out there what it's like yeah absolutely so guys um whoa Simo have you got anything to say to us in service before we sign off whether you're wet like us because we refuse wet in a wick market no wet marked as that was a title so later we're going to be or you are dry as bone because you are in an air-conditioned facility that's let's go say hey guys or you're on an air-conditioned facility where people are very quiet there so it's very
