Rakali Carpio: Brazen Water Rats While Carp Fishing

[Music] good day folks on a windy September day I've decided to stop in at one of my favorite little car hot spots and see if I can catch a monster mud Maron right now same deal as usual two rods they've both got Pat Oster EGS and they've both got a single Jan Jack worm on them the water is actually a uh a dirtier color than normal but the clarity is never great but it's normally not this sort of brown color anyway let's give it a little while and see how we go [Music] a bike just went past on the other side of the creek I've been fishing here for quite a few years and there one never even knew there was a track over there I reck I just had a bite on the Long Rod look at that middle of the day middle of the day and there's a water at you can see where he's going I can see the there he's back [Music] up just had me first B in little Stumpy Rod there a definite Bott couple of real F there it goes come on take it got him oh D him I can see the swirl quick I better put it back in there's not a second to lose what just quickly rest stabb me woring release some of those amazing worm juices I put it straight back in where it was it was just in front of that little Tusk there oh that's the other side no you idiot oh now it's into me leg oh what an R me camera now it's bloody caught on a tree I me a hell of a mess get off fish is probably halfway to Swan elbow now right let's get it back out there's not a second to lose and know just lost about 40 here we go I'm getting a b nible is back on me little Stampy Ro and take up the slack just going to let him play with it he's still there he's still there still picking must be a really small fish it's hard to feel anything in Hurricane hurry get the on the Long Rod now got him I'm guessing it's a cap I've never caught anything in this spot other than cap I've never even caught yabby here I tried oh you know what I forgot me Landing there I haven't forgotten it I've got it it's just in the car I forgot to get it out how you forget to get your Landing out of the car but at Le I remembered to bring it yep it's a big old mmon I wonder if I just lay my rod down if it'll sit still long enough for me to go and grab me landing net or if it'll take off with me fishing rod just keeping my eye on my other R here while I uh while I wear this one at I've got a perfectly good net and it's in the car down there is a better spot to land it but I don't want to tangle it with my other rod it's too big to lift it will just snap the line straight away um you know what I'm going to lay my rod down what I'll do I'll loosen the drag so that if it tries to pull the rod in it'll just pull the drag and I'll run over and get me Landing that out of the car right if I seem puffed that's because I actually did run you might see something on the news tonight about an earthquake being recorded on the Rus scale all right now it's wrapped around all that crap that's out I'm going to get this fish after all this look much easier it is when you've got a net bang just like that I'm on the board I had to give him a bit of a wiped down because he was covered in mud all of the carp I've ever caught in this spot have always been really really fat and that's no exception it's probably 50 cm long but look at how round it is anyway I'll knock put on the head and get me line back in oh I haven't got this Rod back in yet me little Rod's getting a bite it's way there where is it it's way he was already on there oh I've set it for over an hour I've been here close to an hour and a half just thinking about packing up and going elsewhere then I'll caught two at once the Daily Double amazing I've lost a couple or I lost one and missed one know me NS over there with that other carop was well is but it's it's not alive anymore anyway I'm going to lift this one up I re can it'll be right we counting on this fish to not break the line look at that this short Rod's got slightly stronger line just a sick looking fish got like a red rash on it yuck have a look at that for one sick looking fish it's got like red SS and lesions on it yuck anyway if you think it looks sick now it's going to look sicker in a moment when I turned the camera off said for near an hour and a half and nothing then caught two at once in my introduction I said I was hoping to catch a few mud Ming I said he for close to an hour and a half with very little action and then like a double barrel shotgun I went bang bang and got two in a row and then I had nothing for the last 20 minutes I say SW I'm heading off thank you all very much for watching
