we're so thankful for another beautiful day that you give us we're so thankful for all the blessings you give us every day we know we're not thankful enough for the things we receive thank you for the family here thank you for our leadership thank you so much for the opportunity that we could have to get together to study another portion of your word we ask you to be with each one of us as students we could learn something that we could use in our daily lives as we go about our daily activities help us to be a guiding light to others by the way that we live our life we ask you to be with the ones that are not able to be with us this morning you should comfort them should heal them if it's in your will they'd be able to be back with this next point in time continue to be with us today guide us and erect us in all our services and everything we do continue to forgive us our sins jesus name we pray amen in psalm 119 verses 113 to 128 this morning psalm 119 is the longest so-called chapter of the bible though it's not really a chapter it's an individual psalm the psalms were composed over a period of perhaps a thousand years or more how do we come up with that well the ancient but uninspired title of psalm 90 is attributed to moses and then some were written definitely after the what would appear to be the final return from babylonian captivity for example psalm 137 so if moses wrote as early as perhaps 1450 bc and then after the second return from babylonian captivity or the final return you're in the 450 bc neighborhood that's about a thousand years the psalms were compiled by someone who don't know could have been ezra in the long ago and since this is the case reading the psalms in the order they're in that is one two three four five and such like rarely if ever gives any definite definable context to them however when we're looking at one individual psalm we do see how this flows necessarily from thought to thought today we'll be in psalm 119 verses 113 to 128 and we would ask politely if someone would to read psalm 119 verses 113 to 120 out loud for the class and then someone else if you would please read out loud for the class psalm 119 121-128 i hate pain thoughts but thy law do i love they are my hiding place and my shield i hope in thy word depart from me for doors for i will keep the commandments of my god uphold me according to thy word that i may live and let me not be ashamed of my hope hold thou me up and i shall be saved and i will have respect unto thy statutes continually thou hast drawn down all them that earth from thy statutes for their deceit is falsehood now put us away all the wicked of the earth like cross therefore i love thy testimonies my flesh trembling for fear of thee and i am afraid of thy judgment good thank you now someone else verses 121 to 128 please i have done judgment and justice lead me not to my oppressors be sure that he will i serve forgive let not be proud of president my eyes fail for thy salvation and for the word of thy righteousness deal with my servant according unto thy mercies and teach me thy statutes i am thy servant give me understanding that i may know thy testimonies it is time for thee lord to work for they have made void by law therefore i love thy commandments above gold gate above fine gold therefore i steam all my precepts concerning all things to be right and i hate every false way good thank you very much well let's do this these two sections of scripture the 15th and 16th hebrew letters and recall that in the original hebrew psalm 119 is an alphabetical across that is every eight verses started with the next corresponding hebrew letter so we've made it to the 15th and 16th hebrew letters now the king james version text of psalm 119 113 to 128 contains at least 29 first-person pronoun what are those i my me mine myself so forth you see numerous first person pronouns in this entire song but you also notice at least 26 pronouns or designations that apply to god that is thy thou god lord and such life so that allows us to see something very important in addition to all 16 verses containing at least one synonym for god's word such as law word commandments and such like this is a very personal and intimate inspired expression from the inspired writer to god now again try to make it clear pray for others especially with public prayers that's not on behalf of really it's not we don't use personal pronouns and prayers because we're praying on behalf of everyone but in your private prayers and things like that that is is it scriptural to make requests on your own behalf why indeed even the lord jesus christ did that did so here we see this is an inspired song but there's it's very personal it's very intimate we'll notice some more of those things as we move forward but what stuck out the most mere the numerous contrasts especially in these 16 verses you see hate and love you see evildoers from god you see surety in the press you see servant of crowd keep and error vain thoughts and laws statutes falsehoods right false way i mean almost almost in every verse you see some form of a contrast and we'll perhaps draw more attention to that as we move forward there's just some introductory observations to the text just maybe like a bird's eye view of what we're going to be looking at but let's get into the heart of it and in the second place let's get in that an explanation of the text we'll do these two sections of scripture the same way we've done essentially the rest of the psalm psalm 119 verses 113 to 120. there's two sections for that to that for the purpose of our study verses 113-116 the idea there is the shield who is the shield god is the shield then verses 117 to 120 the statues i believe when we look at this we'll see that god's word makes some while it breaks others what's the difference it's like when the s-u-n sun shines on a stick of butter and a piece of freshly formed pottery what does the s-u-n sun do to the boat it melts what does it do to the freshly formed pottery it hardens is it the sun's fault no so it's the constitution of what was placed out into the sun and that's a lesson we need to understand from god's word is that it's going to reveal what was already there in the first place it's either one or two things that life or darkness notice psalm 119 beginning in verse 113. king james reads this way i hate vain thoughts what do you notice about vain there it's in italics so there's there's something that needed to be placed there obviously from the king james version translators to help make this clarify the meaning because if it said i hate faults you'd be like well you hate thinking i mean is it wrong just to think so there's some type of modifier implied in that hebrew term i hate vain thoughts but by law do i love now there's a noticeable difference if you read the new king james version isn't it what does the new king james version say does it say i hate to double minded now what's the difference the difference is the king james here puts the attitude while it appears that the new king james puts the person okay you see the difference i hate pain thoughts i hate the that's a verse now if the king james version is correct what would hate mean because either way the definition of hate is going to be how we have to understand this if the king james version is correct what's the first overall primary meaning of the word hate load to despise to detest so you see the king james it would that would hold i load i despise i detest these vain or these empty thoughts that's fine but what if the new king changes correct and it's not so much about the attitude but about the person you don't have to give an alternative definition of hate right so it's worth especially from teaching all over the bible is to love god with all and love your neighbor as yourself so what would hate have to mean if the new king change is correct love letters give me some scripture that affirms that the one thing to say it's another thing to prove it are we not instructed that we read the king james to prove all things and if we read the new king james it says test so an answer was given we need to test it is that an acceptable answer is it red we know it is but can we prove that might i suggest a couple of passages at least one in particular and that would be luke 14 and verse 26. jesus is the one who said love god lord he's also the one who said love your neighbor is yourself but it's also jesus who said if any man come to me and hate not right who father mother brother or sister go down the list okay so the meaning of those passages is how we understand the word hate okay what's the first overall primary meaning of hate load despise the text if the king james has the correct idea just use your primary definition it doesn't doesn't do any harm to the text does it however if the new king change renders the idea a little bit more accurately all we need to do is use a secondary definition of the word based off of the teaching of jesus so that's regardless of which version you prefer you can explain that there's no contradictions in the bible so the psalm 119 113 contradict anything else in the bible no but how do we explain that it's going to really boil down to how we define what works does that make sense everybody understand that but notice regardless of how you find it there's a contrast in that mercy there was something that the psalmist did his best to avoid or to shun or have no fellowship with but then on the other hand there was something that he was to cleave to that he was to adore what is it i hate pain thoughts but contrasted to that we don't have to dig too deep into that one dude thy law do i what love we can understand that one is that how we feel about god's word do we love it is that how we feel about vain thoughts though how we feel about double mind remember what james said about the double man james one double-minded man is unstable in all his ways watch out notice verse 114 thou who's thou that's a pronoun that has an antecedent and a seating is either expressed or implied who is implied in the thought to whom was the inspired writer ultimately speaking to god thou art my hiding place and my shield isn't that beautiful i hope in thy word so god was for the inspired writer his safe place and protection from danger does god still have the ability to be our safe place and our protection from danger how would we know that if the bible didn't tell us how would we know well we wouldn't so that tells us something you know how god remember the model prayer of jesus from matthew 6 9 13 lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil you know how god does that how's one way right verse simply gives a fact but how many times does god do that it will take heed to what's written down where thy word have i in mine heart that i might not what you see do you see the importance of this god will do his part but will we do ours and notice what did he say i hope confident expectation in thy word verse 115 depart from me he will do this why and cfo lord say why here's why i said that for i will keep the commandments of my god i notice something there it appears that the more we rub shoulders with people evildoers the more something happens right i remember first corinthians 15 33 evil communications corrupts good manners morals however you want to look at that right it rubs off on us so there comes a point where we have to save apart from any evildoers why you're not going to influence or encourage me to keep god's word right depart from me ye will do or fly for i will keep the commandments of my god children of god or to have how much fellowship with darkness what does that mean does it mean what it says ephesians 5 11 have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather what does it mean to reprove you got to say something true then think about second corinthians 6. what fellowship hath light regardless no now we're trying to influence the world for right do not mistake me but when it comes to this intimate partnership and association why because what does it appear happens it appears it rubs off on the children of god for good or bad depart from me right evil doers why for i will keep the commandments of my god so what must be implicit in that statement these evil doers are trying to entice him from keeping the commandments of god so what do we need to do just keep running after them keep running right there with them think about it notice verse 116 uphold me according unto thy word that i may live and let me not be ashamed of my hope what did he say his hope was in verse 114. and thy word that's exactly right now imagine what would happen if god up and decided not to honor his order well we know that's not going to be the case because god cannot lie matter of fact it's impossible for god to lie so if god has said something in his word is he going to do it but you know a lot of the things that are promises of god contained in either the old or the new testament are conditional promises what does that mean if man does this then god will do that you know that's how eternal life is is eternal life a promise i gotta do is read first john 2 25 now are there conditions attached to acquiring that promise well yeah but what if we don't meet the attached conditions that don't look for the problem but if we meet the conditions is god gonna keep his word absolutely without fail every time uphold me according unto thy word you know it is in god that we live move and have our being paul preached out of athens in acts 17 did that i may live god uphold me in harmony with your word so that i can continue conducting myself in a way that pleases you on this side of eternity and let me not be ashamed of what should we be ashamed well we should be ashamed of sin true i mean that's that's what we should be ashamed about why are we ashamed of that which we ought to have confidence in that which we ought to have confident expectation in why would we be ashamed of the bible because we know it contradicts the way somebody we love is lit maybe maybe so as god upholds us even as new testament christians about his work let's don't be ashamed of my hope and where would we have any hope our hopes build on nothing less than jesus blood righteousness but how would we know that if it wasn't for god's written word true so let's don't be ashamed of anything that god declares would be good pleasing holy and right don't be ashamed of the church don't be ashamed of your brethren who are walking in the light don't be ashamed of anything that the bible teaches to be right because it's for whose benefit it is for our benefit god is in heaven and all is well true now there's the shield but now notice the statutes beginning here in verse number 117. hold bound me up that is about the same as the previous verse isn't it uphold me hold down me up and i shall be what saved and i will have respect to that idea of respect brings what i did i'm going to look at favorably implied in that i'm going to do them and i will have respect unto thy statutes how often it's perpetual action continuum not just here and there but the overall trajectory of the children of god's life really from all time has been a life characterized by doing what god has said now you know what this brings to my mind perhaps it's just my mind i think about old jokes what did satan say that god had put all around joke and everything that he had you i believe the devil told the truth about that don't you i believe he did now if that's the case for old testament saints what about us in the new testament under the better covenant with better promises so look at it hold thou me up it's like job was in the palm of god's hand and he had him protected hold thou me up and i shall be one save we believe that does the blood of christ keep us safe so long as we stay there does walking in the light keep us safe yes so long as we want we'd do our part we had to get in there we got to choose the one stay there you didn't have to get in there you don't have to stay if you don't like it but where's the sink where's the clean seat right hold on me up and i shall be safe and i will have respect i'll keep on keeping look at them but it's more than that it really means to observe to obey unto thy statute so that's god's word how often continually look at verse 118 thou who's thou is that god thou has trodden down he noticed contrast there are some who are upheld but then there are others that are born all over just about every verse or every couple of verses did thou hast trod down all in the air from thy statutes why for their deceit is falsehood so god's faithful children are upheld while others are trodden down why is that the case is it god just saying i like this people and i don't like these people what's the difference how did these people react to god's word the ones who were upheld what happened they loved god's word how much did they left nothing to do what he said what about these people who were trotted down what was the difference they didn't care anything about god's word they may have given lip service but when it came down to the nitty-gritty what did they do deceit falsehood that's not god's word god is not a god of deception he's god of truth life just purity holiness right and he's made it very plain upon the pages of his word that has trodden down all in the air what's the idea god has a standard he's always had a standard so how can you stray from something if there's not a standard they deviate here's the path here's here's god's boundaries and what did these people say i don't like it here i won't go there but god stopped right here what's out here true trump what's in here safety protection right verse 119 thou put us the way all the wicked of the earth light draws what does it draws seems to me the primary definition that would be the useless part of precious metals that puts away all the wicked of the earth-like draws therefore what's the conclusion i love about testimonies why because he doesn't want to be put away like the wicked of the earth or put away like drugs the useless part of precious metals there's no sense in challenging the justice of god there's a sense in which this is one of those imprecatory statements it is not desiring necessarily bad things on the wicked but it was a sense in which these holy men of god remember ii peter 1 20 21 all inspired writers of the bible were what they were holy men of god so they weren't give they that doesn't mean they never sinned they did sin right there's every person they can accountability sound line of sin except jesus but on the whole these men were good men so how do we understand these imprecatory statements the justice of god if they don't love god if they don't love his word if they're not going to do what god's word says then they're going to get what put us away like what like like the useless part of precious metals remember the illustration last week with the goldsmith why does the goldsmith put the gold in the hot fire it's not ruined gold is it that's his livelihood he makes money that's how he feeds his family from having gold so it's not to destroy the gold but it is to do something what's it to do to get the useless part the use of the metals out of that gold and when does the goldsmith know that the gold is as pure as it can be looks into gold sees what that's going to come back and you're going to see some other things like that moving forward verse 120 my flesh trembleth for fear of thee interesting statement and i am afraid of thy judgments it seems to me that we need to understand this from the perspective of the possibility of apostasy what's that all has that always been possible have god's children been stuck say look i've picked you you're going to stay right here you have no say in that that's not true now some of our religious friends would have to believe that but they'd also have us believe the opposite of that that god didn't pick these people up here and they're stuck no matter how bad they want to be with this group they can't does bible teach that no so look at what it says back up to 119 thou pushed away all the wicked of the earth like drost therefore i love thy testimonies my flesh trembles for fear of thee why i don't want to become the wicked right i don't want to be like them and i'm afraid of thy judgments why because if i don't stay in the parameters given in god's word what do i need to expect right his wrath that's exactly right so i believe the way we have to understand that is the inspired writer understood in the long ago it was possible possible for him to say i give up i quit i'm tired of trying i'm tired of seeing the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer for example i'm tired of feeling like all this persecution is coming on me i just want to go out here and i want to get a little bit of relief was that possible well sure it was possible is that what god wanted i believe that's how we need to understand that the inspired writer knew that it was possible for him at any given time to forsake god and if he were to forsake god by disobeying god's word what would be the condition of his soul that's exactly right so when we begin to look at things that have happened to the wicked they'd say man i don't want that i don't want that i want to stay right here i want to stay right here where i am doesn't mean everything set me too and something doesn't mean there won't be some trials and tribulations jay and all that will lift government in christ jesus what shall suffer persecution so even if you try to do right is there still going to be some difficulties yeah but overall where would you rather be would you rather be found in christ better covered with better promises or outside of christ i believe i'd rather be found in christ and the more we think about pastors for example like ii thessalonians 1 7 and 9 don't you want to stay in the church don't you want to stay in god's place of safety and security what's outside of there for any person who sins flaming fire taking vengeance on them remember this i know it's new testament that's not necessarily the point that there are some things that kind of carry over that we can understand it appears that the inspired writers even devoted they understood i need to stay in god's word okay because even for me if i walk outside of that i don't want to be encountered with the wicked because when i start thinking for example brock starts thinking about matthew 25 verse 41 2 thessalonians 1 7 through 9 right when you begin to really ponder on those it's not going to be good it's the lord comes back today and we're not in god's place of safety walking in the light what do we need to expect even though we're here in this auditorium right now talking about god's word trying to understand it if lord comes back today and we're unprepared what do we need to expect nothing good true [Music] now verses 121-128 same way 16th hebrew letter says aim or something like that i don't know how to speak hebrew but in verses 121-124 we see the surety it is god and his word verses 125 and 128 here we're going to see the servant the servant of god loves certain things but he also or she also what hates other things now notice verse 121 i have done judgment of justice lead me not to mine oppressors the idea seems to be this i've done right by people so let people do right by me is that wrong to make that request to god on your own path can you know whether or not we've done right by people have we done right by people on an individual as a on a collective basis so in view of that is it wrong to desire god please let people do right i mean look at it i have done judgment and justice in other words i've done right i've done what the bible teaches to be right lead me not to mine oppressors and notice in spite of the fact that he had done right he still had some love you can't get away from that doesn't seem but in view of it on the whole as we've done right by people we should desire god lord please let people do right about me right please let people do right by me notice verse 122 of psalm 19 be sure what's assured like a protector something to that faith be surety for thy servant for good not for evil but for good let not the proud oppress me help me to do right is that is that a fair request now again it's not going to be like this you know if we if we're going to say i want to ask god to help me do right but i'm not going to speak what his word teaches to do right what we need to express expect wouldn't that almost get into the idea of a double-minded man he wants one thing but he doesn't want to do what he knows he needs to do in order to know can that be a double-minded man i believe indeed it would now i gotta find where i was in my bible notice it be sure to be a protector for thy servant for good not for evil but for good help me let not the proud oppress me help me to do right keep evil away from me verse 123 mine eyes fail for thy salvation you may want to look back page or two and notice verse 82 mine eyes fail for thy word we've come across this language in 119th psalm before heaven psalm 119 123 says mine eyes fail for thy salvation and for the word of thy righteousness so it appears that this idea of mine eyes failed it appears that the inspired writer was growing restless he was growing restless for relief relief from what from external oppression and external troubles it appears that this the purpose of our study the second broad section here going back about verse 64 going all the way really through about verse 120 and we've really begun the third section here but anyway we'll talk about that next week the idea seems to have been persecution and there are some that you know where it trickles over before verse 64 and obviously continues some after verse 1 20. but that seems to be the idea mine eyes failed for thy salvation not every use of the word salvation deals with the soul sometimes it deals with the release or relief from any type of oppression okay mine eyes fail i'm growing restless i need some relief for thy salvation what is he saying for the word of thy righteousness lord keep your word you promised he promised and it seems that he's ready for it we get frustrated like that don't we we get kind of tired of certain things i'm just tired i'm tired of fighting i'm tired tired of having to reiterate the same things oh you ever felt like that in other aspects of life i feel like we probably have happened notice verse 124 deal with thy servant notice this according unto thy mercy what's the reward of mercy remember to be attitudes blessed are the merciful for they shall receive obtain and receive mercy so the reward of mercy is what mercy notice it deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy and teach me there it is again we've come across that phrase teach me how many times numerous times what can you get into these pieces nothing so there is nothing that can be received with a closed heart so in order to be taught what do we have to do with our minds you got to open them that's on an individual level if we've closed our mind to anything the bible teaches how we're going to be taught so we have to be open and receptive and ready remember some of the things against firefighters already said he had more understanding than his teachers but he still needed the voice he still needed to be taught teach me thy statutes now can we explain the differences between grace mercy and justice by hand motions what's mercy mercy is not receiving what has been earned what is grace grace is receiving what has not been earned or observed and what is justice that's right down the line the wages of sin is death but the gift of god is eternal life through whom jesus christ our lord so mercy grace justice is right down the line okay grace and mercy it appears occur on this side and breathe your last breath it's going to be right down the line either we're in christ and faithful or we're not you see get one shot to get all this right then one and as it is appointed on the men wants to die then what after that that's right now notice verse 125 here really we begin to see the server i am thy servant is everyone a servant oh yeah whether we choose to admit it or not remember romans 6 16 to 18 if you serve righteousness or you serve sin everybody is a servant okay we may as well be whose servant who's the better master god or the devil god i am thy servant give me understanding now isaac is that just with closed bible and a closed heart no got to open god's word read it give me understanding for what purpose in order that or so that i may know thy testimonies i want to understand god's word better is there any shame in that is there any shame in asking god for help in that but again it's not going to be miraculous it's not going to be supernatural but do we still need god's providential help in everything that we do yes absolutely verse 126 it is time for the lord to work why they have made boy thy law you know it bothered the inspired driver to observe individuals who circumvented god's law that seems to be the idea here so he made the declaration for god to extend his justice there's another sense in which this is an imprecatory statement and some critics of the bible try to say these guys are mean spirit my bible says they were holy men of god who do you believe who are you going to believe god says that on hold these men were holy what were they they were whole okay so this is not based on personal vendettas it's based on the righteous judgment of god it is time for the lord jehovah notice it tetragrammaton to work why were they who's they we don't like this all the time but there's us and there's them when's that going to be playing it's going to be playing an eternity we step across to the other side it's going to be playing there but two categories true so we might as well be on the lord's side how do we how can we do that read and understand and obey his written word it's time for the lord to work for they have made void they've regarded it as nothing by law does it bother us when people so behave but no matter what the bible says they'll find a way to say no that's not what that means he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved no that's not what well then what does it mean what they what they say is it's this he who believes is saved and ought to be baptized that's not what it says is it what does it say he that believeth and is baptized shall be and they do numerous other passages that way true is that the law we're in is to say i see what it says what does it mean sometimes it is really just as simple as it means exactly what it says let's do that notice verse 127 therefore here's the conclusion i love thy commandments above goal really you think he meant that it was an inspired statement so you know he meant it therefore i love thy commandments above gold yeah above fine gold refined purified gold call verse number 72. is this how we feel about god's word you know what we're trying to do i want god's word out to find but jesus said no man can serve two masters either he'll love the one and hate the other else he'll hold to the one who despise the other you cannot cannot do what and i serve god and man according to matthew 6 and verse 24 so we how do we feel about god's word is it more precious to us is this book more precious to us than all the gold in the world why why would the inspired writer say that the simple answer is what's going to prepare you for the other side obedience to the words of this book or on the golden world washington across the man peace will gain the whole world loses so what does that say how much is your soul worth how much is your soul worth how much of the souls in this auditorium right now worth you couldn't calculate you couldn't calculate the value of just one much less how many people are here right now or even in this building on this property how much are we worth what's god's word worth to us verse 128 therefore notice another conclusion and it concludes with the contrast i esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right matthew 19 9 right 2 thessalonians 3 6 right acts 2 38 right we've seen everything the bible teaches to be what right it's right because the bible is right true therefore i esteem all thy precepts that's god's word concerning how many things god's got it right everything he's ever instructed us is right to benefit us and i hate every false way what are false ways for that which cannot pass the test for us of god's word more specific for us it'd be the new testament very quickly let's get the application because i'm way out of time let's get a single summary application of the text that is hopefully just one thought to ponder on the rest of the week we believe verse 115 is god depart from any evildoers why for i will keep the commandments of my god five parts of that number one depart you know there are some things and some people we must turn away from if we're going to remain pleasing to god why because their influence upon us is like 11 and a little leaven it does doesn't it first corinthians five six through eight is in the bible for a reason and so is first corinthians 15 33 which we already mentioned in passing number two evildoers this english word evil doer or evildoers is used four times in the new testament all of first peter chapter two verse twelve you see him up there though the faithful might be spoken of as evildoers by the wicked does god know who the real problem is truth is not the problem and those who are doing their best to walk into life as god is in the light they're never the problem though that's what others would like us to believe it but what's the truth of the matter the evildoers are the problem who does evil every person that doesn't live in harmony with god's word that's an evil doer number three is keep the strongest desire by the honest and good heart is to please god always and at all times which is easier said than done we understand that principle but are all things possible i can do all things through christ which strengthens me philippians 4 14 what jesus said in john 14 15. he loved me did what king my commandments what'd you say in 15 14 we don't know that one perhaps white as well you're my friends if you do what whatsoever i command you true number four is commandments or any of the commandments of god grievous plead with people to read first john 5 and verse 3. let let god's word answer that let's see if it's grievous because let an inspiring apostle answer that question because the answer is no there are none of them are grievous now everything commanded of us by god is for our benefit in the here but ultimately for the what for the hereafter remember the last beatitude of revelation blessing blessed are they which do his commandments so who are the blessed people the people who do what god's commandments and then the last part is my god i don't mean that anymore sometimes we become conditioned to hear that and say oh that's blasphemy but you'll find that phrase all throughout the bible and it's never once used in an irreverent manner though many times it is from iron 21st century vernacular but you know paul used this phrase multiple times romans 1 8 first corinthians 1 4 philippians 1 3 and several other passages now why would he use that why would he do that is that in this ancient text it's the last two words of psalm 119 115 in why would he do that because it shows the close intimate and personal relationship with god god is the god of the living we understand that well there are several things we might understand but is he my god is he my god do i have a close and intimate relationship with god on that level where i understand he's your god he's our god but is he is he my god he wasn't paul paul tried to plead with everybody you need to imitate me out as i entertain christ well god's word is true in its entirety that's verse 160 of this marvelous psalm and has been forever settled in heaven studied a week or two ago in verse 89. lord willing next week we'll dive into the text of psalm 119 129 144 making one brawl application we're winding it down going 16 verses a week we're going to knock it out any questions anything about concern whatever for gracious and loving heavenly father how long will be thy name our great thou art follow so thanks unto thee for this day we thank you for life health and strength we're thankful for jesus christ thank you for the all we got the son and our savior who gave himself for us and father help us to always do our very best to be pleasing indeed at all times and in all things forgive us all as we meet high conditions apart from these things in jesus name
