dropped off my God development throughout the year we have over 1,000 delegates in attendance today we thank all of our MCCA members and non-member delegates for supporting the assoc we need to continue to Foster continue to develop let's get this done are there any Transcona people in here hands up I love it I'm also the so thank you all for coming and I especially want to uh give a shout out to the boards of direct directors here before you this morning I guarantee I never made it to the front cover of the play Girl magazine Innovative and to be able to engage in new ways of learning exploration that's when the wonderment in questions [Music] will those of you that BR a brown bag are there any guesses of what want it when we think provocations what is really important skills and opportunities to try what is it I can do to try and then will support so we look at this and wonder wagons are something that U we are seeing a great deal of development on and the beauty of Wonder wagons is that initially the Educators may choose the materials to put in the Wonder wagons and then over time the children will determine particularly if you're building Wonder wagons uh that the children can take outside the children will determine what they want to put in the Wonder some of our passions and this particular educator is very much into music and she wanted to introduce the children to her passion for guitars U so she set up a a provocation with the guar she had the children use her guitars that was absolutely fine and then from there they became so intrigued that later uh she set up other provocations with the musical instruments again you'll see that many of these photos so this is the venue of our first Workshop I'm listening carefully because I wanted to learn of this professional development day it's a nice day for us to learn and to grow [Music] [Music] 10:30 I think so lunch will be at 12:30 uh there's no need to rush there's lots of seats for everybody in the room um and then at the end of this Workshop make sure that you fill out the evaluation on your app and now it is my pleasure to introduce Pat f [Applause] thank you so much I'm just really honored and humble to be here today I hope um that we're going to have a very enjoyable yes please uh you know get comfortable we're going to do a little bit of some stuff at the table but a lot of it will be um hearing me talk watching videos in the presentation so we're as we all say we on Trey territory the ancestrial lands and the traditional territories um of the r of of the Red River mate nation and we also acknowledge that our water is Source from Sha Lake 40 First Nation we're grateful of having access to this land and we pay our respects to its original custodians the purpose of our land acknowledgement is to recognize the harms and the mistakes of the paths that have devastated and severed indigenous communities and to communicate how AC participating to relearn the truth of our history we are committed to learning and sharing knowledge while the Indian who has read the LA the current Bridges magazine oh I wish I had a candy that's what I do with my St no chocolate at them I didn't wonderful so I it it's um I kind of laugh I'm like oh I don't need to do my presentation it's all here in the bridges magazine so if you read the current Bridges magazine this will explain it talks a lot about values I was part of a lot of people talked about the Articles how things came about so I'm not going to spend as much time talking um particularly about that but um I was pregnant
