Processing "High Grade?" gold ore. That's Prospecting for ya!

hello everyone dan her with dan her prospecting here welcome to my youtube channel about a week ago no no two weeks ago I was up at the blue-chip mine collecting a whole bunch of samples with Clint from gold chasers we got four different samples from four different spots two of them look really good really high-grade gold looking material so I am here today at the property with a little crusher and a gold pan I'm gonna crush them all down and see what was in that gold ore material hopefully very high-grade gold ore material it is getting late today this Suns going down it is getting dark I'll try to be quick so there's still a bit of light around here for you guys to see what's going on I hope you enjoy [Music] [Applause] so I've got my little Cobra crusher here that I've modified so it has a little spout coming off of it just runs off of a little four and a half inch grinder I've got the four samples one two three four and we're just we're not going to fire up the big crusher in the big icon today we don't need that just Pete the little guy we're just gonna crush these down make the powder of them pan them out and see what comes of it I also have the earthquake automatic classifier here from Angus for Kirk to once I've got crushed I'll run it through four different sizes here and I'll probably wreak rush the top to get down to be a reasonably fine material before I pan it out because if there is gold in this stuff it will be quite fine gold the two that I think are have my best chance of having good gold this one here very very high in iron plus a little bit of quartz and this one here this comes from that gold vein that I I know has gold in it I found it before that there comes from inside the adit and it was very high in Pyrates courts and Pyrates really good looking stuff but I'm not sure what I'll find unit for gold and this stuff here comes from that spot where as following a false signal so I really don't think there could be much in that but I'm gonna crush down see all the same since I have it so the classifiers I've got eight sixty fifty and hundred I don't actually expect my material to go through the hundred I hope to get most of it through the 50 though definitely through the sixteen anything that's left in these top two will get reek rushed I got my safety glasses on and will also be putting on a dust mask here so don't read too much nasty dust [Music] safety first of course [Music] [Music] [Music] okay we have a nice powder here good dump that into the classifier I have a pan underneath it so nothing will go all the way through good dump that in here and let the vibrations begin just hooked up to a 12 volt battery [Applause] [Applause] shut that off so almost everything went through that's all that's all there was that you can go through the 1/8 that's good that's what didn't go through the 1/16 and that's what didn't go through the 50 mesh 50 it's not 50 that's what didn't go through the 20 mesh I guess I get 20 here so we're gonna put all of this stuff back in or one more run and they get it then go from there so crush one more time let's just vibrate it one more time a little bit Oh put them in backwards okay so nothing in the 16 a little tiny bit left over in the 20 mesh let's vibrate this one more time there we go now that doesn't look like +100 that looks like if that's a 50 mesh screen I kind of messed up on the classifiers I was wearing but that's okay 50 2016 8 anything sub 50 even sub 20 I'm happy with I'll pan this out separately it'll pay on the finest stuff so here's the little tiny bit that is between 16 and 20 mesh it's not much I'm not gonna put all my tanning on camera you guys know what I do when I pan if not go watch some of my other videos I've got lots of them on panning I'll show you what I have when I'm done so from the oversized stuff and that Court seem that I knew had gold in it to start with I only had one piece that's a pretty small one only one piece there I was expecting a little bit more but maybe it all got crushed down is all in that fine stuff now I should say this is a tiny tiny sample to work with so the fact that I would only have one piece in like two pounds of rock that could still be significant but yeah that wasn't very much and now we move on to the ultrafine stuff this is 50 - pretty pretty fine let's hope there's a bit more gold in it again you don't need to walk me down that now I didn't think to bring my mate my very very close up camera with me today so I'm trying to do what I can with this one but there's the gold in the fine stuff and all was it ever find tiny tiny tiny stuff so we did not get much out of that tiny sample from that first gold vein gold vein quartz vein there's some bigger pieces but all most of us just ultra ultra fine crazy fine now I have fellow gold from this vein before this vein was giving me 12 grams per ton when I didn't assay of it so there's gold in this vein I just want to see that little tiny piece I left behind what carrying gold I left behind and oh not much not very much when I did nasty of this what I found as most the gold is free milled there's not much tied up in the sulfides [Music] [Music] I had one small miss happened I had to open up the Machine and dump out some of the bigger stuff that was left in it so I will classify this down and then rerun that bigger stuff the black this is should be fun to pan this [Applause] [Music] now that it's all crushed down we'll start with the plus 50 so in the oversize there was nothing I had high hopes for that that or there I was hoping for locks in it but in the oversize nothing so I don't have many hopes now for the undersized stuff hmm so there are a few specks of gold in there but not enough to know not to say there's even gold there there's a few but nope it's tiny and only a few and far between I had high hopes for that vein it didn't look like it worked out though so I'm running at daylight here I think I'm gonna pass on the sample which I'm almost positive has nothing in it maybe I'll check in a later date and go on to the good one from inside the attic and hope because the first two did show much [Music] [Music] [Music] one little speck of gold and that's it yeah well that's what prospecting is all about that's what prospecting is all about looking for the gold you don't always find it I do have that one more sample but as I said I'd have any hopes for it at all and my son just about to leave me so I don't think I'll do it today I was really hoping for more out of that stuff I still have to go and find where it's hiding at the blue-chip I know one seam I actually know two seems to seams that have gold I'm just looking for better ones so if I come down to the creeks edge here beautiful little spot to talk about the realities of mining I know there's a lot of people out here that watch my YouTube videos that just want to see the goal well unfortunately you don't always get gold and I know because there's very little gold in this video I'm gonna have complaints it's also a few pictures of gold in here that found at the blue-chip mine to keep those people who just want to see gold happy for those of you who want the knowledge and can accept the reality of prospecting a bit more yes often when I'm out looking for gold I don't find it I don't always put those videos out to YouTube because yes I know people like to see the gold but I know you guys wanted to follow up from that blue chip mind video where I took those samples so I'm gonna put this one out there anyhow even though I hardly found any gold little specks not enough to make it really worth it I will keep looking now before I sign off my wife has told me that my YouTube channel needs a logo I don't know what to make for a logo but since thousands of people watch my youtube channel maybe one of you guys out there is good at making logos I would love it if one of my fans could come up with a good logo for my youtube channel that would be awesome you know if one of my fans came up with a great logo I think I might be able to find a special gift somewhere out there for them possibly I have a few few Chinese few sparklies I might be able to find something for someone that comes up with a great logo for me do you say thank you to all my patrons you guys are amazing because of you I can spend time doing this kind of stuff and making these videos for all of YouTube to watch also thanks to all the viewers out there for supporting me watching my videos because of you guys I do this so please leave a comment tell me if you would rather see gold every video or would rather know the realities of prospecting please let me know in the comments below also hit that like button please share my video anywhere you can subscribe to my channel if you have it and hit that Bell icon so you never miss an episode hopefully in the next bit actually I know I know what the next episode is and yes you will see a lot of gold in the next episode the next three or four actually I just got back from my big trip oh did we hit it big got away from those videos though they'll be coming out real soon so until then everyone there's a few more pictures of gold bye you you
