[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] oh look at that all right well um we'll see i have expected holes in it and i still expect more holes in it let's get these cut down [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] so [Applause] [Music] [Applause] oh all right so that hum you hear it's probably irritating but it's irritating me while i was editing is my ac unit because it is like 300 humidity out there ah look at that somebody wants to talk to me um uh so anyways this is a well let's just go with it's all top secret for now um actually zed or zombie wood turner sent me this root ball thing here and i'm supposed to do i'm supposed to have harry come out here and talk about it but i don't have enough time to get harry out here so harry is going to come on the rest of that project and probably bad mouthing for this project in it but you know how hairy is if you follow zombie and then it's a um uh i mean i don't know i'm gonna try out this resin we'll see how it goes and then i went with the epoxy because i wasn't sure the five-minute epoxy from total bolt because i was not sure how the ca glue would react with this resin but i put it on this piece here and it seems to be fine i did have spray activator on it now uh we'll we'll see how this resin works now i got a big hole there i'm hoping i can turn it out i expect to find more holes in it i expect to find some seashells in it this is out of the pacific so we will see i'm gonna try put a spindle gouge here and see how this goes we're gonna go for ludicrous speed uh 2000 rpms i might go faster i don't know we'll see how this turns [Music] oh look at that big old air pockets in there hopefully i can turn those out it's still kind of gummy alright so i didn't have a data sheet with these and i didn't know how long to leave it and i've left it overnight this isn't gonna have a failed project and i'm running out of time and i want to go to greenville so oh boy those are gonna be fun aren't they all right well uh that's why i keep dulling my tools or shells in it that was to be expected all right get the sandpaper set up here so i'm going to start off with uh five coats of thin that made it sticky feeling paper all over it oh yeah oh i just raised the grain and the root the wood okay so i'm gonna start off with five coats of thin and then we're gonna go to five coats of medium that is how i do it you can do it however you feel you need to this is how i do it still don't work all right it should work now there we go so i have done this before oh and broken i might have got some there and i've broken a chunk of this off on there for having too much glue on it and then just drop them back into the acetone clean off the glue that's on them trying to clean up the ca on here don't take much okay so i'm going to start with a 600 grit wet sand not that it's very wet but and this is just to knock down a little bit of lumps on it there we go that's better and we're looking for a slurry i don't think it's going fast enough here i don't remember what speed it's been so long so i've done this i'm at 300 now i know you can go too fast i still got some divots and pits in it i can feel them one side smooth all right so i'm gonna continue with this i'll come back in on the micro mesh because it'll go a little bit faster okay so uh all this bling yeah i'm looking over there because that's where you guys are at goes on the cap and there is a top and a bottom to it this is a bigger bigger radius than this appearance so i'm not sure how they can go about putting this together yet i what was i thinking all right so this one is the bottom so we're going to put this guy in here like so and then put this one on here that's so cool all right well that goes there like so and then i'm sure we need to go down just a little bit more now i don't know if you can see it under here right there ish just a little blemish in it so i'm gonna oh okay that took some engineering all right now where where is that blemish right there all right so let's keep it looking at me this time everything's crusty all right so not that you can see it there you go all right let me get uh the bottom together all right so that might be good enough hey there is a hole in this and i do not like getting things stuck down in it so i don't know if that'll go through it or not but okay so that the nib or the tip goes on the skinnier end of it of course that wants me to go down further see how that is so let's go down here let's go in here straight now and then this piece here not that you can see it real well has threads on it so the threads go up like so that's awesome that they don't want to go in there all right so i'm going to just go off to the side here for a minute okay now y'all gotta come here over there i know you're all crooked and stuff anywho what we have left is a spring and said spring goes down to the end of ink cartridge and i believe we want that end out down here so and this goes in here like soap maybe maybe what does that not want to work hard it's awful tight down in there isn't it huh let's try that again all right there we go maybe it went the other way like so and we have a transmission which threads onto there like so all right so that's ink cartridge out anyway so in out a couple of times and loosen up you get the uh the grease in there worked around and then pretty much you just put this on here wherever you want it she comes down like how do we want to go what do you think like that or like this i think maybe we'll go just like that right there what do you think there you go so whoopsie i know y'all can't see all right paying attention to what i'm doing so there you go she looks pretty good except for the hole in it right there it goes right on through to the tube there you go now you guys might be able to see it i mean it was to be expected i guess as i don't know what that is and i didn't even feel that until just now that dimple ended or something but hey it's pretty it's all right let's get this over to the stickery board what talks about it y'all see anybody you want to go look at uh let's do yappy over here in south africa i don't have any stickers so go check out yappy um i don't know how to say his last name so like i said it'll be in the corner i'll put it in the description below and oh i'm looking for what where's my project i heard it's raining and i forgot what i had to do all right so um what did i do with it hang tight all right so i thought this would be kind of cool looking to do came all the way from california out in the pacific i believe i was told this is the root ball for giant kilt which was really cool but it comes with seashells and dirt and everything else so um i mean it it actually turned out pretty nice uh except for the exception a few holes or something in it but the ink pen looks really oh this way dummy the ink pen looks really good i think anyway so it's got some neat swirls and i went with the blue ocean colors uh just tried to get the the color of the sea and then the blue rhinestones on this princess pen kit i believe that was uh penn state industries kit put that in the description below along with the bushings so um but yeah i will uh put some pictures up at the end i don't really have a whole lot to say go check out yappy and y'all have a great weekend give a thumbs up a thumbs down see you next week [Music] foreign
