Pokemon Sword Nuzlocke, but I Randomized Everything

in this nuzlocke i randomized everything in pokemon sword well except types because it's a nuzlocke i want there to be some strategy rivals and gym leaders also have full teams of six with increased odds of having legendaries rayquaza what's that and there are other wacky sights to see let's begin oh it worked yes yo it's uh freaking zama zenta what the crap should we go shallows baby okay we could you try not filling up the entire screen with your legs no no i don't think i will oh what the what the crap are we high-fiving there i don't know if this is family-friendly anymore hops wulu was randomized into a drizzle you'd think i'd have an advantage here since i have a legendary but that's not the case with these two crappy moves i still managed to ko them first however pop has one pokemon left come on take it out zamasunta we're so gonna lose this sky attack thankfully nuzlocks don't begin until we get our first pokeballs this is actually a good time to go over the rules when a pokemon faints it's dead i can only catch my first encounter from each router area no items in battle set mode and no over leveling until the start of the next gym leader battle after zamasunta lost to zashian it was off to route 1 where i found and caught an elgium then a surprise awaited me at the first pokemart yup different items master ball zero dollars i was worried i wouldn't be successful in catching legendaries but that sure dispels my fear miyanfu is my next encounter on route 2. then zamasunta faces off against hops attacking why not on top of randomizing this game i also made it a lot harder by giving every rival and gym leader six pokemon and i also gave them an increased chance of having shinies i'm back luckily hop didn't have anything to counter my zamasunta however i can't say the same for this boy's slowpoke the junk is this oh no oh no oh no he lost something without my starter the team is much less viable just before that battle i caught a shidinja on route 3. but since abilities are random this ninja doesn't have its infamous wonder guard whoa this is worthless so i made my way to the wild area finding a horsey at eastlake axe well an oddish at westlake axe well and a sandile at watchtower ruins then my luck changed for the better at rolling fields where pharamosa chased me down the awesomeness continues finding a heat train at the dappled grove and a skarmory at south lake milo i resumed my adventure in the galler mine where appleton is also added to the team even with my opponents having six pokemon the legendaries made things a bit too easy so after defeating the first gym with ease i banded the use of legendary pokemon including the neo lego i found on route 4. with the team nerfed i started the isle of armor dlc to find replacements first with perloin at the train station however that pokemon kinda sucks thus i randomly evolve it at level 20. i got the short end of the stick on this one all right let's try this again evolve into something good stable eye okay i'll take it i'll take it we take those oddish needed to blow up as well yo that's legit that's a legit evolution anyways i continued my quest in the fields of honor finding a goodra then i ran into tyrantrum in the soothing wetlands and back at route 5 an alolan nine tails is caught wait are those pokemon in the grass they're actually not pokemon they're the hillbury i cast a fishing line for my next encounter which turns out to be a cosmog a legendary pokemon which i can't use so into the box it goes i go back to motor soak to test my fishing luck again where i find a war turtle with that addition i think i'm ready for the second gym challenge anchor oh no oh no chilly nay stop it stop it that's not your move okay can no longer escape oh no come on appleton take it out nine tails oh nine tails was one of our better ones too i'm sorry that was just so mean how was i supposed to know that vaporeon was gonna freaking use a quad super effective steel type attack okay maybe i'm not ready just yet so i returned to the isle of armor to find a flying sent to scorch in the forest of focus the fire type is much needed since three of my mons are weak to ice now i believe we're able to take on nessa popplio that's great that's such a good start that's so good okay are you freaking kidding me oh my gosh why does apop leo have a base 120 move oh stable is alive okay we win we win only two deaths baby the toughest match of the run so far is finally over and i consider myself lucky with only two deaths however with nessa having multiple legendaries they give a massive amount of xp when defeated which almost puts two of my mons at the next level cap so back to the isle of armor once again to find some more useful teammates although there was something i forgot to take into account level 36 oh no oh no oh no i just lost my encounter oh no yup just wasted my encounter from brawler's cave because i don't have enough gym badges to catch a level 36. to avoid this i'm going to aim for pokemon in the grass since they're usually lower level pokemon compared to wanderers it still doesn't work out how i wanted it to slow start you gotta be kidding me 27 i head over to the training lowlands next and catch myself an incineroar then i climb up the stairs to challenge road to find the fairy clefable next destination was the warm-up tunnel where i ran into a jolteon and the last isle of armor area was challenge beach where glade was just chilling in the rain then it was back to gallar specifically the second galler mine where i located the pseudo-legend metagross after that was my fight with bead where i had some close calls but in the end came out unscathed the real challenge was getting past the thick snorlaxes upon exiting the mine i catch this gem of a pokemon you suck before you know it we're at the badoo inn with our very first face-off against marnie that's bad holy crap that's bad stop it stop it please stop it we gotta take this guy down i'm just i'm so terrified of this even though that looked like a terrifying extra drill its only attacking moves seem to be drain punch which glade resists over time the constant pressure of razor leaves knocked out the mole the battle continues with appleton energy balling chinchou lunging at the why not clefable coming in to scream their disarming voice at glade then i brought back in my own glade to put up another reflect right before corsola did this grab your cool cool you got a crit kind of sad but not really since glade's random move set was garbage and jolteon was able to finish the deal with corsola marny says is a shiny golerk stabilize comes in to fall surrender the giant but has to piece out the next turn when put in lethal range clefable switches in safely dodging the drill run but has trouble killing glurk we're faster now okay come on jack black i know we didn't want you out here but i'd rather oh shore up oh no all i can do at this point is to use nature's madness every turn which slices golok's remaining hp in half sure they can heal back up with shore up but clefable is there to knock it back down eventually clefable falls to the drill runs however he paved the path forward for metagross disguised as appleton who by the way was too injured to risk in this situation bullet punch strikes first winning our first match versus marnie fortunately the third gym challenge gives you the option to catch a pokemon so i'm able to get another encounter here which turns out to be a nidoran i evolve it right away and get the mediocre evolution of roselia i'll just box it for now until i get a sunstone and with that it's time to challenge the third gym leader kabu lucky for me my metagross disguises gudra has the move leaf blade which of course one shots the omastar my hope is to do the same thing against that shiny tyranitar lash out okay so that's super effective against us oh is that a crit ah freaking [Applause] appleton gets revenge for his buddy but gets severely damaged in the process kabu then sends out his first known legendary corcelia i scout with protect to see what that thing is packing and discover it has dragon claw i guess they somehow knew i was gonna switch too since they went for seismic toss as i switched in incineroar on top of that they're faster attacking us first before incineroar can pull off a wicked blow the next turn i realized i made a crucial mistake after another seismic toss incineroar eight is mako berry unfortunately if a pokemon with the wrong kind of nature eats that berry they become confused no no no oh no oh no oh no no no no no no no no that's what i get for forgetting to check that technicality at least jolteon is able to get rid of cresselia right away kabu's next pokemon makes it feel like we're looking in a mirror this interaction goes on for a while with kabu's jolteon working up and thunder punching while mine just consistently uses parabolic charge which also restores some hit points what really came in clutch was our ripen ability which doubles the effect of our held citrus berry healing us almost back to full health right before taking out our copycat opponent we do catch a break with kabu's fifth mon being zoroa who goes down to a couple attacks his last pokemon is one to fear aself i have jolchi on protect to figure out what dynamaxx move a zelf will go for and i'm pleased to see max mindstorm that's because i can bring out bronzong to quad resist the next incoming mindstorm then stay in the last turn of their dynomax while they max flutterby then bronzong pivots out with a parting shot goodra will be my dynamic samoan for this battle who wipes out aself with a couple max warm wins winning us the third gym badge with the level cap now race to 36 it was time for some evolutions i accept zamasunenta zomzant the only one that died last stream luca dee time for another evolution scyther torkle ah so slow well it took three evolutions just to reach a final form for sand isle so i'll explain the rest drifloon evolved into carcal which then evolved into a pharaoh seed which doesn't evolve until level 40. so into the box it goes i evolve horsey next who fails to expand on the land becoming an arrow cuda so i'll just have to evolve him again arcanine thank you oh yes let's freaking go arcanine is excellent this guy also has a really nutty moveset that i'll show you a bit later for now more wild area encounters first at north lake mylok if it's something i can do in real life that well it doesn't matter because we just got legendary remember legendaries are banned so that's a failed encounter for that area well how about giant seat okay a strong looking rosa raid i hope it is level 36 so we can't use this thing until literally the end it's over the what's my level cap are you kidding me yup i can catch up to level 35 welp another failed encounter third time's the charm right motor show riverbank gives us a vaporeon which i gladly accept onto the team and i thought i was playing it safe by encountering pokemon in the grass at bridge field but mr rhyme 42 what's he doing in the grass what's he doing in the grass i i just got to stop doing these encounters they're frustrating me another wasted encounter i know i just said i was going to stop wild area encounters but i just had to get the blissey i saw in the stony wilderness although i forgot to take into account that the move sets are random so no soft boiled or any good moves for that matter the good news is that on route 6 this lady can be annoying in nuzlockes because of her metronomers this time just a harmless little diglett oh bill murray created man i really gotta stop jinxing these moments at first glance things appear to get better when i catch a swampert but of course it's moveset is trash last trainer battle on this route is artist duncan things start off swell dunking on his shelmet with heat crash then all of a sudden he just casually throws out a volcanion i switched to arcanine to resist a potential incoming fire attack powerball okay got that cinderace move oh my gosh oh man critical hit in the sun holy smokes does he have a water move is my question he does have a water move oh and we could charm it he's a physical attacker so we could charm it okay i'm glad i put that on there let's see guys blissey will die to a physical move lucy's only got like five defense you guys have to use bl why are you getting critical hits i don't know if we live this oh my gosh we live it i mean we should live another one but you know this guy could crit us so we're just gonna go for it why can't he miss a pyroball don't quit yes yes okay good good good oh my gosh this artist is getting so lucky we just have to hope jolteon doesn't get critical hit can't you miss one oh my god gosh that's so much damage okay luckily we got the ripen ability with citrus berries we pretty much get back to full health guys that's at minus four oh wait wait shouldn't he have only one more pyroball [Music] that should be five pyro balls right yeah he's out of pirate balls that's great that's great okay yeah he's out of pirate balls now wow i'm not gonna lie i played that so freaking well i played that so freaking well had to use big brain finally made it to store inside where i'm going to face three trainers with six pokemon each starting with hop okay horsey oh thank you thank you thank you for the horsey okay head smash what the junk kill it thank you joel tian thank you tra pinch okay okay we definitely gotta switch out here drill run yep there's the ground attack oh my gosh that thing is pretty dang powerful gosh why does it have why why did that hit so hard why does trepinja base 100 attack that's as much attack as flygon has i'm not taking any risks no i'm going to charm here i'm going to weaken this thing switch back to stable i have saboy heal up oh actually yeah we can heal up a lot here so we go softboiled okay i can't believe i'm having to play around at your pinch but your pinch threw me off a little however sabo i was able to come out on top ice punching the trip pinch and jing mo oh and arcanine took care of the last three with flame charges it is now time to reveal arcadine's move sets toxic spikes spiky shield and the shore up for recovery with leftovers they will have no chance against me rayquaza what oh man that's not a good start that is not a good start let's let's scout it [Applause] yeah okay come on come on eterna beam oh my gosh oh that is so so so so so not good i think we just have to sack someone and then maybe try the strategy next pokemon the revenge of shiny rayquaza imagine if it was shiny okay bronzong took that well bronzong took rayquaza's busted shadow ball okay cool cool okay i'm glad we switched no defense drop i think we just keep going back and forth right it probably will go for eternity again that's three turn of beams on average that thing's doing 40 damage to bronzong okay it's got one more eterna beam or you just avoid the attack that's even better yeah that should be the last one shadow ball yep okay it's out of eternal beam oh okay gosh i hate i hate this thing so bad i hate it so bad okay whoa one down five to go unfortunately one of the five is another dragon now i'm definitely gonna narrate this next part since this interaction with dragon air goes on forever bronzong comes in to resist the incoming dragon hammer which of course gets a critical hit then dragonair shows off its other busted move shadow force i was hoping sableye could take the hit well however dragonair takes away exactly half of his health i needed a safe switch for my next pokemon so i kept sable eye in to get smacked on by a dragon hammer killing him in the process arcanine will avenge you you have my word execute order 66. my order 66 may not be as bloody as episode 3 but it sure is going to be painful for base dragon era that is here's what's going on arcanine uses spiky shield which inflicts damage on dragonair for making contact then uses defend order to increase defenses then spiky shields again with leftovers recovery at the end of each turn this all being done with the sole purpose of me hoping to stall all the pp of their dragon hammers shadow forces and dragon claws only then and maybe maybe we can win this with no more deaths when dragonair hurts arcanine enough to where he's sitting around 50 hp he uses shore up to heal and just to be even more annoying i lay down toxic spikes in fact in order to stall how i want to i ended up using all 20 powerpoints of my toxic spikes after 16 minutes of my mischievousness dragonair's only remaining attack is solar beam this move needs to be charged up the first turn before use thus i'm able to freely switch in jolteon and kill the noodle dragon with a dazzling gleam i feel like i can finally breathe again anyways baseduck is shocked by a parabolic charge then she sends out delmise i bring back an arcanine to resist whatever attack oh never mind come back here boy what i meant to say was i had bronzong resist the rock tomb yeah that's totally what i meant however bronzong is still very low on hp from base dragons so i shift around my pokemon some more first with vaporeon and del mais has been badly poisoned from the toxic spikes since they entered the field i have been pouring on charm del mais to lower their attack and since i have a water type out del mice is now using absorb jolteon has great special defense which means he could switch back in barely feeling the absorb attack then watch his demise faint as the poison withers away their hp now what about menchino does this thing have any hidden tech i should know about slow start yeah baby slow start you love to see it yeah i love to see it okay oh yeah oh yeah that's what i'm talking about baby that's what i'm talking about well there you have it guys we did it only one death it was a sad death i didn't want it to die them to die but it happened with the fourth gym bad jars a new level cap means a new evolution espeon joe we're just getting the eeveelution team baby and it's on the bead will my arcanine be able to abuse this toxic spike strategy fo mantis oh yeah baby that's what i'm talking about okay uh toxic spikes please stone edge oh crap i just can't catch a break can i i just can't catch a break can i well i'm glad it was just a fo mantis if that was anything else he would have died stole out the stone edges you know that's actually might not be a bad idea there's only 10 right or there's five or something yup so that should be the fort stone edge right now it should be it should be out of them now right with fo mantis out of stone ages arkhan heals with shore up then places the second layer of toxic spikes his plan was finally put into effect aside from one flying type that jolteon dealt with all i had to do was start the rest with arcanine making this an easy gg plus there's an added difficulty at this point in the game this is where the fun begins i modded all of my opponent's pokemon that are at least level 36 to be fully evolved that way we aren't facing a caterpie wielding opal at the next gym but we all know at this point that it's the randos that can be the toughest blast burn no no that's death we snow oh man this is so bad this lady's bad please kill with snipe shot come on i forgot about the extreme harsh sun man man at least my glim glenwood tangle encounter is another grass type more importantly a defensive tank since scudra already fills my special defense needs better yet i sold all my dragon scales since the watch trader was just handed them out for free earlier making me rich enough to purchase all the health feathers and bottles of calcium that i want now all my pokemon are happy and stuffed they really didn't need the help though not only was arcanine able to place the toxic spikes and bulk up with defend orders the stat increases that opal gives with her questions just made this gym battle a freebie fifth gym badge is mine remember my first encounter of this nuzlocke yeah elgium they can finally evolve a few times actually from ivysaur to drizzle to scorupy to badou to cosmo him elgium still ended up being useless by nicole is next to evolve and cloister is nice to see another physical tank pharaoh seed is last to evolve for now who takes a similar path to lgm at first but then nitto king oh nice dude that's a good shift gear one route 7 brings me another encounter that being tentacle which evolves into mars shadow wait that's illegal thankfully route 8 provides the fully evolved pokemon skunk tink then it's time to face the sixth gym leader gordy don't have window berry good okay great it did not matter i guarantee you that did not matter are you sure about that yeah we got those spikes up that's great garbo door oh wait did he just get rid of the spikes he did oh you little piece of trash turned out to be one of the easier gyms because gordy didn't have any busted moves six gym badges ours hop challenges us again and is dumber than ever memento okay um that's fine that's hilarious oh that's uh i then failed my encounter on route 9 since the rood spawned right in front of me and marnie likes to use fairy lock like a lot and i like corn dogs anyways gym leader time with piers low punny oh look at her okay it's a boy come on man oh no okay this battle just got a ton harder i just lost my best pokemon literally that was my best pokemon stop it please stop it stop it stop it it's gone it's gone he's gone the mayo sexy bunny's gone poison kill it poison come on kill it good job arcanine arcanine kills from his slumber self-destruct we should be fine we're bronzong okay good yo pierce kind of going crazy here luckily that's where the ridiculousness came to a close this battle after bronzong failed to occur with earthquake i swapped vaporeon in their place since bronzong could die from a critical hit toxicity falls to a psychic then vaporeon aims at doraleon with snipe shot and tangrowth knocks out the ace lucario with fusion flares winning the seventh gym badge there are no new encounters on the way back to hammerlock and i know that i said no legendaries but i never said i couldn't evolve the legendary now what can i get my coughing to evolve into an electivire i'll take it i won't use it yet though cause i'm gonna rely on espeon and skunting to take on the double battle gym leader ryan i mean come on name a more iconic duo while holding the choice specs espeon deals major spread damage with hypervoice liligan and tentacle strike back with grav apple and palm puff respectively skunting then flexes on the squid with a broken move wicked blow and next turn espeon finishes them both off with another hypervoice right hand sends out golurk and reuniclus next since espeon is stuck using hypervoice which cannot touch golurk i switch in 10 growth scunting barely misses the kill on golurk then it disappears preparing to use shadow force reuniclus then knocks off tangrowth's assault best i tell skunk you better kill something this time buddy and he sure does one shotting the psychic type go look shadow force is my bulky plant who then sends back an energy ball koi'ing them in the process right hand's poor luck is shown as he reveals his last two pokemon neither of them being the legendary dynamic's marowak can't assassinate anything that's not teen growth with a critical hit so i keep skunting in to vicious rend the bone keeper pokemon but they max quickest right back ending the skunk's time in this nuzlocke tangroth just wasn't fast enough giving revenge for a teammate right after their funeral another max overgrowth will do it winning us the final gym badge qualifying us for the champions cup skunting may have only starred in one battle but he sure pulled his weight i don't get a replacement for him either since the legendary pokemon so volley chased me down on route 10. what the heck what did i just witness since i now have all eight gym badges i can now catch any pokemon from the remaining sub-wild areas no matter their level the standout encounters are mammoth wine from the dusty bowl and tyranitar from giant's cap however nidoking will take the stage for the champions cup semi-finals you see he recently learned shift gear a move that not only increases his attack stat it also increases his speed by two stages since butterfree couldn't stop nidoking i just had him power up until the following two stats were busted all nitto king had to do from there was sweep them with drain punches digs and a max knuckle same thing happened to hop because he led with galvantula by the way every time nitto king wins he looks like he just stubbed his toe before i knew it leon was welcoming me into the finals and cosmo could finally evolve thanks to the new level cap i was thinking of keeping them a tang as is because it could be a good evil light user but decide to evolve it anyways that's an evil light user oh man that is a oh holy smokes that's a good evoli user we've all learned from this run the randomizer giveth and the randomizer also taketh i'm gonna go triple axel just because it's probably faster yup frenzy oh no no no no no no no oh mark no gosh dang it ah while beating up the macro cosmos and boys hop was also being a little brat constantly spamming the useless move tarshaw all because he was jealous i qualified for the finals instead of him with olianna clearly in pain from the stress of her job i wanted to give her pokemon a quick and painless death but i couldn't do that with nidoking since she led with mr rhyme lucky for me i had tyranitar who wielded a similar move to nitto kings dragon dance while raised his attack and speed oleanda must have cracked under the pressure since all she was using was aurora veil which of course fails without the hail weather tyrante also has wicked blow so yeah this match was no problem even against her two legendaries now it's time for the champions cup finals that is until beat interrupts and gives his speech to the crowd oh shut up you're so annoying can nidoking make quick work of this guy not right now i pivoted into vaporeon to resist the free shock attack it also paralyzes us and vaporeon is unable to move for four turns in a row during that time vanillics reveals it has the move's assurance and force pump that's three physical attacks in total so after i have been pouring on self-heal with the moonlight vaporeon pulls off a third charm totally nerfing their offensive capabilities i switch back to nitto king to start shift gearing until they charge up a free shock turns out b didn't use any ice move until i had used shift gear five times way to give me the wind buddy after drain punching his first two months i flexed nidoking's new attack against the next two with land's wrath the rest of the battle is history now move aside bead and make room for nessa who also sends out pokemon that scares no king right away at the beginning of the battle i think i'm safe to dragon dance as a dark type standing in front of a psychic type but then nessa attempts a hydro cannon hydrocannon oh my gosh that's terrifying i'm so glad we did not get hit by that yeah not going for the setup strategy for this match tyranitar just start clapping them with wicked blows but against the water type crawdaunt pivot out with parting shot and detain growth she resists the muddy water then bows over the crab with energy ball nessa then sends out resharam who is just a little scarier vaporeon it's your turn cosmic power oh no we gotta take this thing out take it out cosmic power oh my gosh what is it doing this isn't a sword power restaurant is it that's not a lot it's not a lot we got to keep going this restaurant was frightening at first but it looks like magnum storm may be their only attacking move but they did continue to weaken vaporeon with eerie impulses luckily vaporeon sped up the process with a clutch critical hit ending the duel after that i had nidoking handle the last two against bay herceptile seismic tosses dealt consistent damage only allowing nitto king to pull off a couple shift gears after taking down her nidoqueen and hatcheris bay sends energy plant to show him tyranitar's raw power without dragon dance wicked blow always lands a critical hit thus decidueye went down and one hit then i had 10 growth use fusion flare on extra drill light this not fully evolved pokemon gets a 50 boost in both defensive stats stalling eternist just enough to fall to paris strong a couple turns later porygon still packs a punch somehow being able to use pokey a signature move spatial rend and with balance restored to galar leon and i can start the final match of this randomized nuzlocke and i'm not going to dynomax during the last battle cause why not leon and i have similar tastes both leading with rock types i places stealth rocks while he attacks with ancient power tyranitar could have bested cradley with only two wicked blows but leon did heal once which caused us to use three leon sends komo next which is frightening for tyranitar since he's quad weak to fighting moves but turns out komo used octolock instead which allowed tyrande to weaken them with a parting shot then trade places with jolteon he's got dazzling gleam which wipes them out with one shot leon reveals his legendary victini who teleports into colossal come on man are you really that stupid anyways victini comes back and faints from sparkling arya then cling clang is next who has the very powerful move sun steel strike but victorion's water typing could care less about that threat a couple water moves washed it away leon's last pokemon is gigantomax sandaconda now since i cannot dynamax i'm moonlight which availed to nothing since the snake just buried us the following turn with gmax sandblast however this battle is pretty much wrapped up with nitto king being faster singing the parish song right before falling to gmax sandblast as well since i have enough pokemon to last three turns i decide to show leon some pity by giving him the chance to kill as many of my pokemon that he can before time runs out gonna vote switch what it doesn't affect anaconda why aren't you using your ground attack oh my gosh amnesia yo you could have killed jolteon i tried to give leon a free kill but you gotta respect that guy's pride he doesn't want the wins just given to him what a true champion well past champion since i have now taken the throne so many crazy moments maybe i'll do another randomizer someday give the video a like to support it and
